so i did a whole analysis/explanation/infodump about luca's newest letter on my discord server and. figured i may as well post it here! theres a lot of fun tasty things in here and some confirmation of things that have been implied in previous letters which is fun to look at. please keep in mind i dont have the entirety of every character and manor game's lore memorized so while i did double check some things i mightve missed some stuff. anyway its all below the cut since its Long have fun :)

so theres three sections to this letter! im gonna go section by section, but some parts of the last section are mentioned earlier so uh. sorry if you havent read it yet (id recommend u do read it first)

so part 1 is pretty fun. luca is confirmed to have survived game 10 (which also features tracy, charles, and bonbon though we dont currently know who the fourth survivor participant is) And its implied that hes the only survivor of the game (according to the "fleeting victory" thats the assumption at least). his traits w being able to connect the ciphers is also officially tied into the lore here; there are in fact wires running underneath each arena (or at the very least whichever arena lucas game was in which we dont know yet iirc) so its canon that he can do what he does in matches and its not something that the detective incorrectly deduced lorewise (idk if any of the survivor abilities are Actually incorrect deductions/not actually things that theyre doing (like for example priestess's portals, etc that seem more far-fetched) but since we know hes done other things incorrectly (like "prisoner" and "psychologist" titles being in quotes/technically wrong) i figure he mightve gotten some of those wrong too). luca is also Super Fucked Up w an unusuable left arm (and his previous injuries which we know includes at Least severe brain trauma but likely physical trauma too considering his time in prison + the leg braces) so uhhhhhhhhhhh. my money is NOT on him for the next game.

which is the fun next thing to talk about: baron deross is making him do another game!! this confirms whats implied in emmas 2022 letter (she writes "I've won the previous round, for now" which implies a second round if not more), and probably means that helena and galatea would also go through another round even though its not confirmed yet. so far we dont have a record of what happens in any second manor game for a player who has won (as far as i remember); usually what happens is entire groups are eliminated before the game and the only survivor goes on to the next round to try again by default rather than having won the game (like murro and luchino). so far luca's second game is the only one we have ANY info about for a survivor whos won their first game; we know that alva is in it and its heavily implied ann is in it (we'll get to this later) so we'll likely find out what happens once we get either of their experiment letters. its also interesting that the baron seems to reveal more information about the experiments to luca after luca won his game, but its hard to know whether thats because luca is also a scientist or if he reveals that to everyone who wins. my guess is maybe the former bc u Know luca would have questions and theres also no mention of baron deross saying anything like that in emmas, galateas, or helenas letters.

on to section 2!!! (there was a slur against disabled people in the last line of this section so. thats whats blocked out)

OKAY SO. definitely confirmed that hes in a second manor game, its not even subtext its just right there. assuming the "mechanisms" refer to the same mechanisms that are running under the arena and connecting the cipher machines my guess is that this is what he used to shock other participants?? rather than just being to conduct electricity through himself like he does in the game?? idk thats just spaghetti at the wall its not clear here how he actually got shocked and why. it Is clear that he passed the fuck out at some point or another/his memory issues have gotten worse and the wiki points to that guy in his dream being hermann, so that's. interesting. theres an implication here that luca and hermann used to be closer, but once luca started w physics hermann went mmmm time to stop being a father. which. checks out knowing hermann. whats even more interesting is that luca calls hermanns ideas "ludicrous fantasies" that are neither idealistic nor realistic, because like luca you went and did THE EXACT SAME THING. i do wonder if this is meant to imply that hermann was in fact actually working on a More ridiculous version of perpetual motion or if luca is just biased as hell against hermann. im banking on the latter there is no way in hell that luca is a reliable narrator considering all his memory issues + his general tendency to outright grab people hes mad at by the throat (<- fun fact we see this at least twice once in alvas backstory video and again in gattos backstory video. luca is the same across all timelines). also implications that hermann became an alcoholic. im guessing as a kid luca was told it was medicine and he hasnt put the pieces together?? or its ironic. idk could be either with him. i highly doubt its actually medicine. ALTHOUGH. theres an alternate explanation here; when luca says "swallow them down" i initially thought he was referring to hiding his "final feelings", since sometimes swallowing down feelings is a phrase used for that kind of thing. but potentially this could be implying that hermann had luca take some kind of medicine potentially to get rid of those feelings in some way?? personally i think its the former because we already know hermann was wasting his life and money so becoming an alcoholic would be an easy answer, but this is probably just because i dont have any answers if it were the latter. something to think about

now the third part, which gives us info about the next manor game!

so first the "gaunt old man" is (according to the wiki which i agree with in this case) mad eyes, which makes sense because mad eyes was involved in game 8/9 right before this and game 10 was filled with inventors + bonbon so it only makes sense he was there. no idea where he went though. whats more fun is that luca is now In The Fucking basement Walls where mad eyes used to be bc luca doesnt trust the rest of the participants. considering the "abnormal eyes" and that alva is here we know for sure that this is those related to the eye of darkness cult, which means ann is also definitely there. whats even more interesting is that this implies the existence of at least one more member of the eye of darkness cult whos going to be in this game; luca says "new participants" and "these people", and considering how specific the letters usually are with other things i would guess hed say "those two" if it were only ann and alva (of course its possible that theyre the only two have arrived at the writing of this journal, but considering he refers to a ritual coming up soon my money is on all the participants being of the cat cult except luca). luca makes a good note that this new game is likely the opposite of the previous and more focused on religion/spirituality which checks out w the participants, but DAMN hes an asshole about their writing style LMAO. sorry luca not everyone can have the same notes u do

the "brother in faith" guy here is alva, and i personally believe that he can in fact believe see through walls just bc thats funny as hell. just kidding its likely because luca is not as subtle he thinks he is because alva Literally Knows Him. other people might not be able to know hes there but like. that guys also a scientist. hed be able to figure out that theres someone in the walls AND he does in fact know luca. its difficult to tell bc of lucas memory issues but this probably also implies that alva looks very different from how he did in life (i doubt its as tall/etc as in his hunter form since thats what they all see when drugged not what he Actually looks like but im sure theres some stuff like his shorter hair/grayish skin/etc that carries across). i for one am fucking thrilled that theyre in a game together bc oh my god this is a time bomb and im just waiting to watch it explode (again).

as for the last line about a ritual... teehee. im very excited for whatever this is going to be and its killing me that this is the Only Information we have on it so far. likely we're going to have to wait for more alva and ann letters on this one, as well as whoever the third eye of darkness cult member is going to be, but i have no doubt that we'll have some more info eventually. if i had to take a guess its going to heavily affect how game 10-2/11 turns out; i highly doubt any ritual goes on without a sacrifice, and, well... theres only one guy here whos not already part of the cult. things are not looking great for lucas future.

TIME TO DISCUSS DYLAN FADENS DRAWINGS!!! THE LAKE HOUSE EXPANSION SPOILERS AHOY!!!!! LETS GOOOO

first of all DYLAN IS AN ARTIST I LOVE HIM SO MUCH IM GONNA CRY..... TTvTT idk if theyll actually make this part of his character or if it was just a convenient way to link him to the lake house but either way im filing this fact away in my brain. do you think casper darling was proud of his little artist boy at all when he sent the drawings to the marmonts. kinda braggy. or do you think he doesnt appreciate art much and just saw them as fodder for further experimentation.....

ANYWAY on to the real stuff. analyzing dylans drawings!! i find it interesting that they are entirely done in black and white aside from the red. this is pre-hiss, so what was the significance of the red to dylan?? are these drawings prophetic, or did they help shape reality once they made contact with cauldron lake??

this drawings appears to depict a hiss possessed individual. upside down, it would look exactly like one of the figures suspended in air in the oldest house. but is this figure really hiss?? they arent hanging in the air, but are instead plummeting downwards. also note that they appear to be dressed similarly to dylan. even has no shoes!! so instead this could depict something else yet to come...

now this one could be a reference to yggdrasil. i havent really any thought beyond that. trees clearly hold significance in remedy lore.

tbh i have no clue what this could be depicting?? this is the only one without any red. the way the jacket looks leads me to believe that this could be an agent, possibly estevez (not enough hair to be saga). i can picture that white space on the back of the jacket being the fbc logo. are they in a cave?? or beneath something?? im not sure.

this one is REALLY interesting. a face, obscured by a red circle. the circle could represent a lot. circles were a repeating image in that vision you see after talking to dylan. it could represent a hole or portal (we came in through the hole in you), could be an eclipse, a gunshot wound (bullet hole wounds in the face, specifically the forehead, are a repeating theme in aw2). is the face anyone specific, or just a random person?? it looks familiar.... but i shant say.... (it looks a bit like ■■■■■.... maybe im crazy). either way, is this also a prophetic drawing??

i have so much more to say about dylan specifically but this feels sort of longwinded already.... maybe i will post at a later date about what dylan says, and the implications of his vision. (also, are we all in agreement that dylan has some form of future vision?? this has been my theory for a while)

as for the story, i haven't written anything out completely yet, but the basics are:

there's this company in charge of space travel and research so they send out teams to investigate newly discovered planets and such

pomni, zooble, ragatha, and kinger are one of these teams, with pomni being the newest. they needed a new team leader and the higher ups at the company chose to throw pomni in there. she hates it and just wants to go home

caine is the ship's AI. he can control pretty much anything. think glados from portal except a lot more silly and also no murder. there are some things that he can't do without permission from whoever's in charge (aka pomni) but other than that he can do mostly whatever he wants

so this team is sent to investigate new planet that was discovered and yep this is the place where all the silly aliens are

gangle is the reason both she and jax accidentally got caught. thanks gangle. but once everyone realises the aliens are actually sentient theyre like "oh shit our bad sorry you can leave" but gangle doesnt wanna leave! because the rest of the team seems cool and she doesn't have anything else to do with her time

jax only stays because he figures he can get some extra info from whoever these space guys are. eventually he'll start to get along with them

pomni does not care about any of the above, she just wants this mission over and done with. so when she's out doing the work by herself that's when she finds gummi injured and brings him back to the ship WITHOUT TELLING ANYONE so he can recover

really there's not much of a storyline yet just a bunch of different events that i have in my mind but if you guys got questions i can answer anything

as for who will be next? idk, i havent decided yet. im still working on figuring out kinger, ragatha, and caine's full designs but maybe the next 2 will be caine and bubble. again i have no idea all i know is that bubble looks like this

right now the closest ive got for the other three are those lil icons on the info cards. im a pretty slow artist sometimes so idk how long itll take for me to finish the next 2. sorry chat

so the whole idea was that Liniyal (the dmc oc in question) was like. a proto trish i guess u could say???? that eventually escapes mallet island and tries to live a normal life. or as normal as she can all things considered

how she escapes i havent really figured out yet. i think during the collapse would make tje most sene but thats as far as that goes. i heard that trish and dante got there by boat so maybe she made her own little makeshift boat and skedaddled??? who knows. but she Gets Out

the only reason why mundus even keeps her long enough that she manages to escape is that he wanted to punish her failure (even if technically he was the one that failed) by keeping her locked up and showing her what she couldve been and what she couldve done when he finally creates the perfect one aka trish. its like when a parent says "you should/could be more like (person)" but way worse if that makes sense

so then dmc1 happens and all the while liniyal is like somewhere just kinda trapped and then mundus is defeated and shes able to be set free since his magic stuff was beung used to keep her locked up and since hes like gone? probably? it would kinda just disappear. you know??.????

so yada yada she escapes and arrives to main land and the immediate first thing she wants to do is remove or cover anything that reminds her of what she is. basically starting a new life or at least trying to

its like a V situation where she has to go around stealing stuff and hunting demons 4 food (since i think he does that in vov) at first she probably has the mosy horrendous fashion taste but for like 95% of her life she WAS naked so u cant blame her too much. she does get better eventually i hopr

ive yet to decide whether or not i want to give her a buddy who like helps her w everythinf because while i do think it would be nice idk if id want to make it a canon character and if not that would mean id have to make up a whole new character and i just Dont Know how to go about that. maybe i can jusg say there was some guy and you can put your own interpetations on em if u wanted

also still thinkimg about when she would actually appear in "canon" either during dmc4 or dmc5. not sure when in dmc4 but for 5 i thought about maybe her firsy appearence would be in the far background when nero is fightinf (checks notes) artemis kinda like how in the one dmc4 cutscene you can see dante just chilling while neros kicking ass

and then her like meeting appearence if that also makes sense would be when V or nero come across a later boss (still on surface or when v is in the queen empusa area) and she gets like whacked so one of em decides they gotta like help??? and soon enough she'll be bavk on her feet and syart fighting alongside em and be like a companion. dont know where to go after that though

i 100% do think that if she were to ever meet trish it would be AWKWARD. even if trish wouldnt know her (another thing i havent decided on. that comes up a lot in here) she would know trish and just feel all weird aroun her because. You Know

Idk if you’ve said posted this already, but do you mind explaining your hotd dr a little more?

im so sorry for taking this long to answer but here it finally is :)

soo i started this dr back when i really, *really* loved scripting so i made up a whole valyrian house (also bcs i really wanted to be valyrian but not a targaryen or valeryon lol). I havent really thought about it in a while so i dont really remember a lot beyond what i wrote down about the house (that i kinda did for my aegon the conqueror dr rather than hotd, so the hotd part is not really happy or nice). Only thing I know for sure is that I dont really have a set s/o that i end up with (mostly bcs none of the characters really interest me that much) but i do have a few affairs with some of them. Also, im not there for the whole plot but thats explained in the document linked below. Uh im not really team green or team black cos i cant decide (in this reality im mostly team black but im too lazy to change the whole plot i thought of now), both have their pros and cons, in my dr i spent a lot of time around the greens rather than the blacks (also explained in the document). I have 2 dragons, a black one and a white one (yes like ying and yang and yes its corny dont judge me) i dont have names for them yet tho cos im shit at naming dragons and people so if anyone has ideas id love some :) im around alicents and rhaenyras age, maybe a little older (5 years +/- 3 years) and i didnt grow up in westeros (also explained in the document).

I'll link that down below, keep in mind that i still havent watched the show (idk why either lol) so im going off what i found online and in fics so any inaccuracies prolly come from either lack of or misinformation or i deliberately changed them. its also not done yet so yea im open for feedback and/or ideas :)

I miss arcy

KJASGAJGJD SJGH HONESTLY I AM CRYING ON THE INSIDE, IN HAPPINESS, THAT SOMEONE REMEMBERS MY BEAN I AM REALLY, REALLY SORRY! I put that blog on Hiatus because of a few things: 1) I wasn't happy my backgrounds looked at the time. During then, I was still practicing.

Like... I didn't feel like I did the colorations right on the grasses and I am not too keen on the layering. Each time I make pieces with this background, I've felt unsatisfied. That I could of done better. But I was still practicing and learning what colors look best on things such as grasses.

2) There actually haven't been a full design yet of the non-beta Arceus. There were concepts, yes, but I didn't felt truly satisfied with them. It just didn't hit that certain click to the brain where the design of a character felt absolutely right ;-;. There was also going to be a Mew present as well. I did had a design of them at the time, but sold it in the end, as I've felt that the design was a little too complicated to work with ( Ah how I love to add a lot of details, haha >w<". I have learn to do that less nowadays ). There will be a newer Mew design, yes, but it is thinking on how to execute it :think: And, speaking of designs, I do plan to remake Arcy friends. I did already sold the group, except Arcy. I feel of creating more newer designs, truth be told. I do want to keep it as a group of five, as it felt the most balanced amount! I will still keep the ideas an personality for each character, something I will continue to consider for each newer design of the other beta Arceuses!

3) There was a moment of time where I have forgotten what email I have used for the Arcy blog. By literal months actually. It was actually somewhere around last year when I did found it again. But at the time I was like... Wanting to improve my art a little more before blogging again ;w; I remember that I did at least try to do emotes. I've never progress further with them tho. I don't remember the reasoning, truth be told, since it was a year ago. But here is a gif of the emotes qwp

Truthfully I do want to bring back Arcy. Do I know when? Ahhhh not really. I don't have a preparation in mind. Like... I hold zero intentions of rebooting / restarting Arcy story. I am very firm on continuing it. Idk if it would appear off with the art style being set to Clip Studio PRO, since I no longer am doing Paint Tool SAI ;w;. One idea is I could go with the freedom style that I do plan to do with Kuruna's blog :think:. Where I just go with this or that style, whatever I am in the mood to do on that day ( Sketch there, sometimes colors, maybe very basic animation, ect, ect. Basically a free for all on art stuff, if that makes sense xd ).

My lil Arcy still exists qwp. Just havent been certain aaaa.
