I wrote a small thing, inspired over morning coffee and wrote it just as fast.

Until forever was a slow blink in a crisp morning. In a beam of that golden light filtering through the window. And eternity ended with a gasp and hands that touched a second too late, fumbling in the air where two ghosts once stood, and only one remained.

Can you tell us about the first few times Aziraphale regressed? Was he ashamed, or did he enjoy it from the get-go? Did Crowley maybe help him through it?

i think that Aziraphale struggles with his regression for a long, long time.

at first it’s confusing, and a little concerning. he chalks it up to some sort of angelic empathy—he saw some kids playing a fun little game with their parents, and there was so much love, and Aziraphale—an angel, a being made of love—wanted to feel a connection to that. it makes perfect sense.

but it keeps happening, and it seems like he can’t really control it, and it’s upsetting.

he tries to push it off as much as he can, resist or at least delay it as much as he can, but eventually he realizes that it just makes the feelings stronger, more intense, and the only option that won’t lead to a meltdown is just giving in to the feelings.

slowly, very slowly, he builds up a small amount of regression gear. a pacifier, some books, a doll. he keeps them in a small locked box under his bed and only takes them out when he’s desperate for comfort.

telling Crowley about his regression is—to put it simply—incredibly difficult. Aziraphale is an angel, he shouldn’t be feeling such human things, it’s unbecoming and unprofessional. he should be stronger than this. heaven would think his behavior is ridiculous. and Crowley is nice (though he won’t admit it), but he’s so cool, and what if this is the final straw? what if this is the thing that finally makes Crowley leave? he couldn’t bear it.

eventually, though, the truth comes out, and although Aziraphale is incredibly embarrassed, Crowley is wonderfully supportive. as soon as Aziraphale’s big again they’re having a Talk™️, and Crowley’s offering to be Aziraphale’s caregiver. Aziraphale is too embarrassed and prideful to agree to it right away, but he agrees to a “trial run” the next time he regresses.

(Crowley listens to him describe how lonely and frightening regression has felt to the angel, and his heart shatters. he decides right then and there that the next time the angel regresses, he’s gonna make sure the lil guy has the Best Day Ever)

the next time Aziraphale regresses, it’s not perfect, but it’s more comfortable than it’s ever been, and Crowley gives him a Winnie the Pooh stuffed animal he bought in preparation. it’s not perfect, but they’re getting there

Since you’ve played the DLC, what do you think of ogerpon?

Haha so, the funny thing about that is, I haven’t played the DLC, even a little bit lol. I only just started Pokémon Scarlet at the beginning of this week (I had to wait until my classes were done) and haven’t beat the main game yet let alone the DLC.

It’s just that the day the dlc came out I started watching my favorite Pokétubers do their playthroughs of it so I know all the characters and plot stuff. I’ve never really been one to be bothered by spoilers so I always watch playthroughs when new Pokémon games come out (I can’t count how many times I’ve replayed Ultra Sun and had a blast each time, even if I know what’s coming.)

That being said, I'm super excited to get to the DLC, and the main reason for that is Ogrepon! She’s so adorable and sweet, I love her so much! I can’t wait to add her to my team and let her bonk her way to victory! Absolutely 10/10 Pokémon, deserves only the best in life.

I’ve only gotten 4 requests total, that being with Lilac, Red Velvet, Pomegranate and Dark Cacao, the first two I’ve already finished. He doesn’t get requested all that much

To be honest I don’t really have many ideas for the Affogato/Pomegranate kid, other than making their hair red and white. But I mean, that’s more a “cross that road when I get there” type situation, at least right now
