Dumping a few of my Gomens sketches then back to lurking!

Currently going through a trying to design some new looks for the Ineffable Partners for fun sakes in between some bigger projects. So far the list is:

Fantasy Armour Shenanigans Aziraphale (Supreme Arc-Angel?)

Viking Era Aziraphale (Crowley’s design in the concept comic is from Imus.sumi on Discord! Have yet to ask their Tumblr handle but it’s something I’ll get to asking in the near future. Also probably the one that’s going to change the most since I do want to lean in a more historically accurate look for this one due to story reasons)

Fem Crowley and Aziraphale Disco Inspired looks (emphasis on inspired on this one since it looks like I’m just going on generally a night dance club look for it, unlike the others these are made for a future full illustration so I’m giving myself much more leeway on it)

writing advice for characters with a missing eye: dear God does losing an eyes function fuck up your neck. Ever since mine crapped out I've been slowly and unconsciously shifting towards holding my head at an angle to put the good eye closer to the center. and human necks. are not meant to accommodate that sorta thing.

#like it started with me just holding things more towards my right #but the things started shifting more towards center and my head turns instead #like. when im driving especially i have to keep my head turned so i can see on coming traffic #and when im around people ive noticed i position myself so my body is facing them and then turn my head to get them actually #centered in my now very right biased field of view #so anyways draw blorbo bleebus cheated to that 3/4s angle without guilt #at least one one eyed fucker actually does that

I love that all of the dungeon meshi crew are complicated and have difficult to love components.#But Izutsumi is a particular kind of hard to love. I foresee a lot of people being turned off by her abrasiveness and lack of teamwork.#She is very self-centered and openly goes against what the party agrees on.#She's a picky eater in a story that is 50% about eating good and healthy food!#It is in part about her growth but admittedly even *then* she remains rather true to her self-centeredness.#Even though she isn't as nice or funny or compassionate as the others...Izutsumi is still someone worth loving.#Even the more difficult people are someone worth loving.#And those people in turn are people who have something and someone they love.#She may be a girlcat but she is the most human of them all.#I hope that if you are an anime only watcher and are feeling put off by her at the moment; you'll give her a chance.#By the way: *yes* I worked very hard to draw that skateboard pose. It was worth it.#EDIT: HAPPY 500th POST OF POORLY-DRAW-MDZS!!! What a comic to commemorate the milestone with!
