This playlist is, to the best of my ability, Every Single piece of gorillaz content that can be found on youtube in story order.

all of the music videos, all of the indents, all of the interviews, animations, radio shows, news specials, podcasts, audio books, tiktoks, Everything.

on top of that ! I made the decision to include select fan content! because Frankly the gorillaz fandom is unimaginably talented and creative. this includes Fully animating several music videos that were cancelled, but given to us in animatic form, original animations, animatics, and storyboards, fan visualizers and recreations of live visuals, even voice fan dubs for written material like the interviews and novels.

and more than that, with the (incredible) fan content that was available I've Also been able to flesh out the stories of each phase! a decision I made due to the plastic beach, the third album, never getting to finish the story officially (leading to the band breaking up and coming back 7 years later).

I'm so proud of what I've been able to do with it ! and even happier to share the picture I've been able to make as a whole :>

that said ! the kong files is attempting to document Everything relating to those phases. so all of the social media, all of the music videos, all of the written text, Everything !

I wouldn't try to Only use this for watching phase 6 and 7, but it's an Excellent resource for everything that could fall between the cracks

Rise of the Ogre on Archive dot Com: [Link]

rise of the ogre was an official novel released at the end of demon days (the second album/phase 2), that covered the entire history of the band up until that point! their backstories, how they met each other, what they'd gotten up to in the 10 years they'd known each other, and the shocking event that happened at the very end of the phase and the band's reaction to it. all leading in to plastic beach, (arguably) the Most story heavy phase of them all.

as I understand it, this novel has been out of print for a very long time and is quite expensive to buy second hand. so ! it's been scanned and uploaded here to the archive! there's actually several more scans available in the gorillaz art archive, but this is the most recent (having been uploaded just earlier this year).

Dawn of the Ogre: [Link]

dawn of the ogre is the fanmade sequel to rise of the ogre, attempting to fill in the gaps of what happened at the end of phase 3, the 7 year gap, and up to the (then) newest point of canon.

this is, of course, unofficial. so this is essentially fancy fanfiction. But it's extremely well done fanfiction that happens to be novel length, attempting to emulate the style of the original novel, and is fully illustrated. along with being available completely for free!

I'd definitely give it a shot, if you're the type of person who's already read rise of the ogre

I MOST CERTAINLY CAN SPARE MY THOUGHTS! TWIST MY ARM! first, i'll link it here in case anyone hasn't seen it:

FIRST (and most obvious) THING'S FIRST: I'M SOOOOOOOOO EXCITED UUUUUUUUUUUUUGHHH!!! the film JUST started premiering in Annecy as we speak and my heart is literally pounding MY FINGERS LITERALLY SHAKING. so i apologize if this turns into a discombobulated mess i'm so so so excited and trying to keep an eagle eye out for any and all details. BUT ANYHOO

IT LOOKS GREAT!!! this is a fully rendered clip of the roughs that were uploaded back in September of 2022, so i'm already pretty familiar with this since i gushed over it to hell and back then, too. i had a few teeny tiny neurotic nitpicks that i would not take too seriously--honestly me nitpicking anything modern LT is a good sign because it means i'm ENGAGED and actively thinking and engaging with the material. there are a lot of modern LT adaptations i cannot say the same for. so it's all out of a labor of love and i also realize that most of these nitpicks are very.. you guys know my level of fanaticism. don't take it too seriously. my standards for this series AND THESE TWO KNUCKLEHEADS IN PARTICULAR who are my favorite characters of all time are so high that even the classics don't meet those expectations half the time. we all know i'm insane. BUT ENOUGH BLUFFING

my biggest critique is that it's going to take me quite a bit to get used to Eric Bauza's Porky. i LOVE Bauza, he is such a sweet guy (he sang me happy birthday as Daffy Duck and i almost exploded) and so talented and it's been really great seeing him rise up the ranks. i used to only know him as "the guy who voiced Stimpy in APC" and so i'm VERY glad to see he's gone on to greener pastures LOL.

but, with that said, the first time i saw these roughs i actually thought Porky's lines were scratch audio. there isn't enough stuttering--it's important for me to note that people give Porky's stutter WAY too much prevalence, in terms of how he sounds and just characterization as a whole. a stutter is not a personality. BUT, in the clips above, he doesn't really sound like Porky unless he's stuttering. it moreso sounds like Daffy talking to himself. Mel Blanc had Porky speak (and even sing!) in full sentences all the time, but it's never noticeable unless pointed out because Porky still sounded like Porky and Blanc knew how to make his personality come out in his voice beyond the vocal fluff of a stutter.

part of it is because i'm so used to Bob Bergen. and, even THEN, if i watch too much LTC or Duck Dodgers in one sitting, i need to "recalibrate" with the originals and hear Blanc. Bergen's Porky is much different than Mel's, more formal, the stutter more concrete in its formula (fun fact: Blanc's Porky has a southern twang in his voice if you listen for it depending on who's voice directing and i love it so much. biggest giveaway is how his "i"'s will often sound like an "ah" instead, not thinking of the stutter. I WARNED YOU we are getting into super pedantic territory here), but, much like how Joe Alaskey's Daffy is a much different interpretation than Blanc's Daffy, he was able to really make it his own. i think Bauza's Porky is still in a little bit of a limbo in finding its identity with that regard. but, also, keep in mind we've only heard him in this clip and Space Jam 2 and i have no plans of revisiting SJ2 to make a point here. sorry

THAT'S MY BIGGEST CRITIQUE i'd say! others are small, such as the design of the landlady is fun but reads like something out of the 2020 Animaniacs than anything based in the LT design philosophy, and you could argue that the fluidity is more Richard Williams-esque in its visual fluffiness and perhaps even excessiveness than, again, anything relating to LT. but i take less stock in that last one because the animation is STILL GORGEOOOOOOOOOOOOUS WHAT THE HECK!!!! so many fluid arcs and i really love that scene of Daffy talking to the landlady. the subtle twitching on Porky's cheek as a secondary action made me laugh.

other than that... you guys know that I. LOVE. LTC. i have been tracking it before it released, and there are posts on this blog (i think i saw one even dating back to its initial announcement in 2018, though it may have been a 2019 post of the 2018 upload. dunno.) dating back before i was even into LT at ALL. i've been keeping an eagle eye on every single development. the day they premiered i watched the entire batch 3 times in a row. i streamed it for you guys too! some people reading this may have been in that room.

ALL THIS TO SAY, i LOVE LTC SO MUCH and it's been the most excited i've been for anything in a very long time. i also have my fair share of nitpicks, but, as i've expressed above, they all come out of a place of love. some of the Porky and Daffy shorts in the LTCs i would have handled differently if i had my hands on them. Porky and Daffy are two characters who are deeply special to me, everyone knows me as The Porky And Daffy person including my coworkers and bosses, my friends who worked on the show and film have told me many times they're eager for my thoughts. the pig and duck are literally a part of my identity. so my critiques come more out of a place of fanaticism and love for the characters and wanting to do them justice and wanting people to see what i see in them, rather than an actual dig at the product

THAT ALL BEING SAID. there are some pitfalls and little traps the P+D (and a lot of LTC in general) shorts run into that i'm expecting to be in the movie as well. there's a little bit here with the screaming and some lines of dialogue that i probably would have shaved off (like "our roof?"). months ago i started typing up mini reviews of each LTC short that i may compile here someday--my Max subscription was about to run out and i wanted to watch all the LTCs one last time while i could. and then i renewed because i couldn't watch quickly enough and now need to return LOL--and it allowed me to lay out some of the nitpicks i have with the series more clearly, which i am fully expecting to also be in the movie. and that's okay!

ALLLL OF THIS RAMBLING IS TO SAY: I AM SO EXCITED. i've been tracking every single detail of this movie and this SERIES like a hawk since it was announced. i was even asked to work on the film back in 2021, but turned it down because i wasn't secure enough in my abilities and didn't know what job security would look like after i finished on the film. i'm glad i stuck with the decision as i did, because i figured i can draw those two any time i want, and the fact that i got asked meant that there are eyes on my work and i may get asked with other LT related offers (which turned out to be true!). needless to say, turning down the offer was genuinely one of the most excruciating things i've ever done and it seriously sent me into a pretty big funk for the next few days and weeks.

so, with all that said, it is ESPECIALLY important for me to see how this movie is and celebrate it and keep my fanatical obsessive eagle eye out. i'm so glad i get to live in a world where this is a movie that is happening and coming out. i've already got plans to see it with a best friend who i've shoved the agenda of the pig and duck down her throat many times. i am so excited to cheer on all my friends and colleagues who worked on this film. it's the most excited i think i have ever been for anything actively coming out in my life.

Soo today I decided to look further into whathever happened to the I Giacobini screenplay - buckle in, I did my best to include as much info as I could find!!

"I Giacobini" (the jacobins) is an Italian screenplay from 1962 based on Federico Zardi's homonymous drama and it is, as of today, a lost media.

The cause for the disappearance of the screenplay from the RAI (Italian national public broadcasting company) archives is either reconduced to the lack of care for the preservation of medias at the time or to the theory which believes the cause to be due to political circumstances.

According to Wikipedia (eh):

...while Italy was in the hands of the Democrazia Cristiana, RAI for the first time broadcast to the public a screenplay «practically entirely aligned with the left and in which Robespierre doesn't come off as a bloody monster but rather like a Che Guevara of reason»

The Democrazia Cristiana or DC (Christian Democracy) was a centrist christian democratic political party in Italy.

The screenplay became largely appreciated by the public, as well as receiving praises from Palmiro Togliatti, exponent of the PCI (Italian communist party) - which happens to be one of the DC 's political opponents at the time.

I went ahead and looked through the archives of Rinascita but found this.

Here I found Togliatti's comment on the screenplay - the below image is a section of it:

...In 1962, under the threat of the cold war, a few months before the Cuban Missile Crisis, a screenplay remarked positively by the leader of a communist party in a NATO country could've raised any kind of reaction.

Thus, the mystery surrounding the disappearance of the screenplay is believed to be caused by some archivist involved with the democristian party.

While this is widely believed to be the reasoning behind it there's not much clear evidence and it's likely impossible to investigate since so much time has passed.

About the screenplay: it was broadcast in 6 episodes, of 90 minutes each, between 11th March - 15th April of 1962 (with a rerun in 1963 after which the tapes disappeared).

It originally featured La Marseillaise, La Carmagnole and Ça ira as well as 4 songs produced for the theater play by Gino Negri.

Audio Recording

In 2012 a man came forward with a (illegally) recorded copy of the audio from the screenplay and sent it over to the Rai archives. The studio managed to recover and digitalize the audios of the six episodes - sadly the video recording is still missing.

Funnily enough, the archive page on which the audios were supposedly made public is gone as of today - but I have found YouTube uploads here: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]

Also here's a doc that wast broadcast on Italian television on the 11th March of 2012, in honor of the 50 years since the first run of the screenplay - (it's in Italian, if anyone's interested I'll gladly sub it/provide a translation)

Pokomatsu: Hesokuri Wars' "Replacement"

For those who don't know, when Heso announced its shutdown last year, a new app game called Pokomatsu (technically its full name is Osomatsu-san: Protagonist Contest Pokoball) was also announced, serving as a replacement for Heso. Despite this, gameplay-wise, it has nothing in common with Heso lol -- I think it can be best described as a pinball game in which you can collect cards like in Hachamecha Party (anyone else remember that one?) -- but I FINALLY downloaded and tried it today and it's actually reusing a lot of Heso assets?

For one, that little ghost that shows up when you kill an enemy looks mighty familiar, and so does that HP bar -- and oh wait, how strange! Why do I feel like I've seen that corner showing all my coins before?

(You get the idea. RIP to New Osomatsu, btw.)

But I think the most notable thing - and this is something I had been told before I downloaded the game -- is the fact that some of the cards you can collect are just... Heso units? The other types of cards you can collect are screenshots from the show and the movies (a given), but then you just have this other catalog of collectible Hesokuri Wars cards that remind you of happier times that you can fill, whether through rolling in the in-game gacha or beating levels. Like, Cthulhu Mythos Summer!Karamatsu was literally the first card I got when I started playing earlier:

And there's just a whole bunch of these that you can collect in this game if you were to play. There are only really a handful of sets that are available in Pokomatsu -- most aren't in here at all -- but idk. It's just something interesting I felt was worth mentioning, given that the staff seems like it wants to connect the two games to each other, even if they're otherwise totally unrelated and even if one of them has been shut down. Fuck, I miss Heso.

Oh, and the voice clips used in this game are the same voice clips as the ones from Heso. Obviously, I can't really show people this one unless I upload a video with audio or something buuuut I also don't feel like doing it atm so lol. Maybe later.

Mine and other ASMR creators work is being stolen and put on Spotify as 'podcasts' without our consent!

There is a 'podcast' (actually, 'podcasts' plural but we'll get there) on Spotify called "Boyfriend audios and more!! by a user called Imagine. They admit the content they are posting is not made by them, but that does not matter. Reposting is not okay, even if you credit the creator, unless you have creator's consent. It's still stealing even though they gave credit to the creators, we did not give permission for our work to be put on Spotify. But this person did not ask anyone for permission before doing this. And as it's on Spotify it's likely it is monetized (I'm not sure if it's possible to have un-monetized content on Spotify) meaning this person is possibly making money off reposting our work. Even if they are not making money this is still not okay and it's still stealing our work. There are so many creators who's work has been stolen from larger accounts with hundreds of thousands of subscribers to accounts that have a couple hundred subscribers. The 'podcast' started posting on April 7th 2023 and updated as recently as yesterday (October 24th 2023). Plenty of creators offer downloads of their work on Patreon, or you could get Youtube Premium if you want to listen to them offline, you don't need to go to unauthorised Spotify reposts. And plenty of audio creators upload their work to Spotify themselves anyway! I've seen people's work reposted on Spotify that already uploaded the work to Spotify themselves anyway. The 'podcast' currently has 378 ratings (people who have decided to rate it out of 5 stars) so people know it's there and are listening to it.

I feel sick. I'm shaking. I've had my art, as in artwork I draw and sell on Etsy, stolen any times and this year has been the worst. For those not following me elsewhere my Baldur's Gate 3 fanart got stolen and is being resold on t-shirts on Etsy, AliExpress, RedBubble and maybe more platforms. I taken one down and four more pop up. And that's far from the first time my drawings have been stolen. But I never expected my audios to get stolen like this. I have notices everywhere that I do not allow reposting, reuploading, or editing of my content. Though someone shouldn't need to have those things written down, it's common sense and basic human decency to not steal and repost other people's creations without their consent, whether you are monetising it or not.

I don't know what steps to take here. I hope Spotify takes this stuff down if enough of us report it. But the only people who can report it are the creators themselves. I don't have many connections or reach within the ASMR/VA community, but I hope other creators see this post, or other's posts about this situation, and are able to report and take down this content off Spotify.

As I'm writing this I decided to open the playlist up on the mobile app for Spotify where there is a 'more like this' tab. And sure enough. This is not the only person doing this. There are multiple 'podcasts' that are just full of stolen content. I'm sure this isn't all of them but these are the ones I have found. I have no idea how to tackle this. None of this is okay. There's more than just the ones in the screenshots here. There's one's that give no credit and just say 'I didn't make any of this' 'credit to creator' without naming the creator, straight up N-SFW content which is against Spotify's rules. And some of them in their about sections are complaining about getting copyright reports against them, thinking it's funny, saying their last podcast got taken down but they're just made this new one. All the content they are reposting is already online for people to listen too, some of it already on Spotify.

There's no excuse for reposting and not crediting someone (unless maybe they're doing it so the creator can't find and report them), and even with credit it's not okay. Message the creator first, ask them if they are okay with reposting. "But what if they say no?" then you don't do it. The same applies to any content whether it's ASMR or whether it's someone's fanart drawing. It hurts, it feels uncomfortable, it's crossing boundaries to take people's content that doesn't belong to you and repost, especially if you are monetizing and making money off it. I don't know how anyone can call themself a fan of a creator, how anyone can be a fan of a creator's work, and then do this. I'm scared to report for copyright. Multiple owners of these 'podcasts' have made it clear when they're reposts can taken down, they just reupload them again, that when their accounts get taken down they just make new ones and go straight back to reposting content. So reporting might not do anything. Even if anything is taken down, it will probably get reuploaded again and I don't want to be checking and reporting every day of my life. I found this treasure on YouTube, a verified account documented the crimes of Israel against Palestinians and their rights, in audio and video, from the beginning of the 2000s untill two weeks ago. The oldest video they have was from 17 years ago. Surprisely, this account belongs to an Israeli human rights organization with an office in the heart of Israel called B'Tselem. It has 1300 videos about testimonies of Palestinians and documentation of their displacement from their homes and the violations committed against them by Israel and its settlers, all translated into English and Hebrew.

What we are required is that we post these videos everywhere because they tell the story from the beginning. This will have a greater impact than the tweets, articles, and threads that people might be lazy to read. These videos are short, and their duration ranges between 1-4 minutes, so it will be easy to reach many people, and they see it. I don't think these videos have come to light before, or has anyone even seen them.

Go take a look, put the videos in order from the oldest and watch, and try to download as many of these videos as possible and keep them because if this channel comes out, I don’t think it will remain open for a long time after that. Download them and upload them here on Twitter, download them as they are in hashtags, put them with other videos, and make short reels. Post them on all platforms.

I’m pretty sure it was in 2019 when I saw the documentary “Officers against Hitler” on German television, so it must have been the 75th anniversary of Hitler’s assassination attempt. And there was a short scene in which you can see Stauffenberg, because it was on TV I couldn’t grasp what I saw so quickly, I later forgot about it. The documentary is from 2004 (three parts) and it’s very well made and various contemporary witnesses and people who were there at the time in the Bendlerblock have their say. Some time ago I remembered the whole thing and looked for the documentary online, as I had only seen the first part at the time on TV, and it is indeed uploaded on youtube.

Of course I immediately looked for that scene and found it, but it’s not a close-up, he’s standing in the background and the film material is from the 1930s and therefore not of such good quality, so don’t be disappointed, but we’ll never get anything better from him. The narrator says “Stauffenberg here on a previously unknown film shot with his regiment”. You don’t find out exactly when, but it must have been before the war. I’ve watched it a few times now and at first I was sceptical, I briefly thought “that could be anyone!” BUT THEN he smiles/grins and that got me, because it looks just like that smile/grin we know from the photos! And this is, as I said, a reputable, well made documentary, not some trash. I had cut out the scene, but you can’t upload video from your own hard drive here.

Hey it's been a while since I've been on I saw that you recently made a new Jelly video I was about to watch it but seeing you upload it made me miss them. I still don't know if I'll watch season 3 sure I want to see the amazing love of the Jelly dating era but I know Jenny is going to ruin it like she did in the books they're going to character assassinate Jeremiah (even though he was the best part of the books not going to lie.) I hope she changes things and makes them endgame all we need is for them to stay together I need to see Belly fight for him more. Give me the Belly we saw in the finale where she was willing to leave Conrad there and go with Jeremiah. I don't need the toxic ship that the books had this is 2024 how people are still stanning the boring man Conrad I can never imagine he still hasn't been called out for his lies. Jeremiah didn't really have anyone on his side but Taylor I love her for that while Steven was a fake friend sure he wasn't that great in season 1 with him not wanting Belly to be with Jere but he's totally fine with Conrad after everything he's done?

Omg yes to all of this !!! Honestly I’ve been thinking about the way the show will end a lot lately and I just don’t see how making it a bonrad endgame would be a good thing. I’ve not read the books but I’ve listened to moments in the audio books here and there and the changes that were made from them to the show is so apparent and purposeful to me. Changes that make me go ‘why would Jenny change this unless she wanted to go for a different endgame this time’.

A lot of people say to me ‘yeah but in the books-‘ I don’t care. I love reading and I love books and clearly these books mean a lot to people but the show is not the books. The characters that we’ve seen on screen are not identical to the ones people read in the books. When you go in blind, not having read the books previously, you go in without a bias, which is important. The Conrad that we get in the show does not treat belly with the respect that she deserves. She even mentions at one point that he ‘gives and then takes away’ that’s toxic. The way he talks to her a lot of the time is honestly really rude, like calling her a baby and mocking her for knowing things about him. So much of his behaviour is a straight up red flag and so many Conrad stans tune a blind eye to it simply because they love book Conrad- which by the way, from what I’ve seen- WHY.

Jeremiah treats belly with respect. He’s there whenever she needs someone, he makes her happy and laugh and doesn’t make her question their relationship. She feels secure when she’s with Jere, when she’s with Conrad, she’s always on edge and she worried- it’s not healthy. Jere even put aside his own feelings because he loves both his brother and belly and at the end of the day wanted them to be happy, but belly chose jere. It would be beyond stupid now to have her go an change her mind AGAIN and get back with Conrad. And if one more person tells me what jere does in the third book, I’ll scream, because that is not show jere and making his character do that in the show would be the most ooc choice.

I’m sick of shows romanticising toxic behaviour. Just because belly fell in love with Conrad first, does not mean that she doesn’t love jere any less or that she will always love Conrad. People grow, people change, and she’s not a child anymore. Conrad is the guy you go through to learn a lesson, and grow from it and learn your worth. Jeremiah is the guy who makes you realise that you’re exactly who you need to be and that you’re lovable in whatever form you take. That’s what real love shows somebody.

How to make an AI Cover: The Longform Post

A friend of mine is in need of a detailed instruction for how to make an AI cover based on the only method we both found to work. So I'll be posting it here for both ease of creation, and to aid anyone else who might see this post and wants to learn how to do this themselves.

STEP 1 (or 2): Find your voice

Before anything, you must first either choose a voice or a song to use. One will determine the options available for the other because certain voice types to better with covering certain songs' vocalists. If, for instance, you tried to get a character with a british accent to sing a song in Spanish, you may run into issues with the voice not only sounding odd, but also having gaps and glitches where the voice AI was not trained to make certain noises associated with Spanish that are not associated with british English.

STEP 2 (or 1): Find your song

Songs are much more widely available for download on sites like Mp3Juices.io, so we will be using it to find our song. This will also allow me to walk you through how to download a song from Mp3Juices.io because it is less simple than is used to be.

I will be using the song Eleanor Rigby by Dirt Poor Robins because it is voiced by a woman. We will see just how well the voice types match up, but I cannot be sure just yet.

Click the Play button to watch the video being pulled from YouTube just in case it isn't what you're intending on downloading. The download button will allow you to choose whether you want to download the video or the sound of the video. In this case, we will be downloading the audio.

When you click "Download MP3", it will extend the section to provide 2 buttons. Both buttons will take you to the exact same place. A new tab where you can find the video or audio to download.

The website should look something like this. Unfortunately, the script glitches out with certain video links, and so, it stays frozen as seen above. What should be seen after what looks like a video player is this:

If you click on the circled button with three dots, it will provide a small menu with two options: either alter the playback speed, or download the audio. We will want to download the audio.

Unfortunately, this doesn't download the file as an MP3 like one would expect when clicking a button and being taken to a website, both of which say MP3 on them. Instead, this little troublemaker downloads all of your music files as M4A files. So what you'll need to do next is go to cloudconvert.com to convert the file from M4A to MP3 as shown below.

Uploading the file should result in the webpage looking like this:

Press the Convert button on the bottom right, and an audio track will pop up with a download button. Press that, and you have your MP3 file.

STEP 3: Edit Samples

If you have collected your samples of voice clips of whichever character you intend to recreate, it is time to begin editing your samples. Many samples will require very little editing, but others may require up to a couple of hours worth of work. The sample I am working with will require a large portion of work because every time Uzi is on screen is not every time she speaks.

SIDE STEP: Audacity

For all audio editing processes (of which there are many), I am using a program called Audacity. It is free for download, and allows users to record from both their headphones or their microphone. However, it may be difficult to get it to do that. So the following section will be a tutorial on how to set up Audacity for recording audio from the computer.

Once you have your audio set up, you can begin recording your music and/or the music that you intend to use in your AI cover.

STEP 3 (Continued)

To edit and clean up your audio, you want to cut out any and all sound from the audio file that isn't your chosen character's voice. Something important to keep in mind is that this does NOT include background music. We will address background music later, but for now, we do not need to worry about it unless it is too loud for the character to be heard.

In order to delete problem portions of the audio, you can highlight the portion of time in the clip by clicking and dragging over the track, and pressing the DEL button on your keyboard just above the Left Arrow Key.

Keep handling all of these until you have a track only consisting of your character's voice. Don't forget to get rid of all silent portions as well.

Once you are finished cleaning your sample audio, you are ready to extract it as an MP3 or WAV file. WAV files are larger sized, but preserve the quality of your audio.

PART 4: Separating Music from Voice

Now that you have your audio properly extracted, you need to specifically get the vocals of your music and voice clips. You can do that by using the following website called x-minus.pro/ai

STEP 5: Training your AI

Surprisingly, this is the most time consuming part of the whole process. First you will need to go to the following public Google Colab file. It contains a Python script that creates an instance of a website that will allow you to train an AI voice file, and then use that file to cover songs.

Once inside, press the play button on the first cell circled below.

This will gives you a warning prompt that the program was not made by Google. Run it anyway.

The cell's output will go through a lot of stuff, and some of it will look like links or other things. DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING YET. Eventually, the code will reformat itself to look like this:

Once it gets to this point, click the link at the very bottom of the cell, just above the textbox. It should be preceeded by "Running on Public URL: ". This link will take you to the instanced website called Grazio.

The URL opens to this page, but to build the AI, you will need to go to the "Train" tab circled in Red.

Once you have extracted the pitch, press the blue "Train Model" button circled in Yellow. This can take up to a couple of hours as it goes through 250 intervals of training. If you change the setting above it to a higher number, the voice will be more versatile, but it will take much longer to train. It will also take more time to train the more audio you have in your dataset.

Once the model is trained, press the "Train Index" button below the encircled "Train Model" button. This should only take a few seconds. Then you can press the grey "Download Model" button. This should output two files for you to download directly beneath the button. One will be a .pth file and the other will be a .index file.

STEP 6: The Final Stretch

We're almost done. Once your two files are downloaded, send both of them into a zip file by highlighting both of them, and right-clicking one of them, hovering your cursor over the "send to" menu, and then clicking "compressed (zipped) folder". You will upload this zip file to your Google Drive or other equivalent. This combined zip file is your voice ai.

You may have to refresh your google drive in order to see and/or access the file. Once you can access it, you must make it accessible via a shareable link.

Now you have a link to the file in your clipboard. Be sure not to copy anything else during this process. If you do, you can use WIN+V to pull up your clipboard which should have a list of things you've copied or cut recently. (WIN or Windows Key is located between the left CTRL and ALT buttons. If you do not have a Windows key, check your computer's settings for how to open the clipboard.)

Next, you will need to close the Grazio tab, and go back to the Google Colab page. You will need to create a new instance to ensure the program works properly. This is because training the voice causes a mess in the other sections of the website, and the instance only lasts for a limited amount of time. As a result, not restarting the instance may cause your work to be interrupted and you will have to restart anyway.

Once you are back in the Grazio page, you will need to go to the "Download Model" tab to the left of the "Train" tab we used earlier.

Go back to the "Inference" tab once the output box at the bottom reads "success". If it reads "error" or something similar, create a new instance, and try again.

Important note: uploading the vocals file will do the same thing as uploading voice samples in the "Train" tab in that you must wait for the file to fully upload before continuing to the next step. This is crucial.

Your output audio should look like this.

Unfortunately, sometimes your predictions for how the voice will sound are... bad. Take for example, Eleanor Rigby by Dirt Poor Robins covered by Uzi AI.

This completes the tutorial. If you want to reunite the lyrics with the instrumentals, all you have to do is import both your new AI generated audio and your instrumental track you downloaded earlier when getting the vocals for your song. Usually, you shouldn't need to alter them in any way for it to work, but if you have a good cover, using the reverb effect does wonders. After they're in the same Audacity project, all you have to do is extract that as a WAV file, and you're done.

now, this is the second song-editting project i have ever done lol (still an amateur, but this one was way easier 👍)

i've been seeing a lot of people on tiktok/reels/shorts, whatever, use the humming from this song and i really liked it! i was surprised i didn't remember the song despite having seen the movie when it first came out. i personally like the song better with just the little skat-hums; and while editing, i found an attachment of lyrics i could keep to help transition the two verses of humming together (albeit, to do so, i edited said verses to now be out of chronological order but eh 🤷 the verse people have been mainly using is now the first bit you hear. so that helps with the song's trendy recognizablity, i think)

this was way easier AND quicker to edit than "Ultraman" lol but yeah! edited it for the same reasons as i had with "Ultraman"; this part helps me battle against my executive dysfunction, the regular verses of the song did the opposite of help with my executive dysfunction bc my brain is fickle for unknowable reasons that having absolutely nothing at all to do with the other verses' quality or the artists (the rest of the song is great! my brain is just overly picky if i want to use music to battle against my executive dysfunction). just thought i'd post my edit in case it similarly helps anyone else, that's all. i did very basic editing here, very non-signature "anybody else could have very easily come up with the same results without knowing my edit exists" type stuff; so i dont personally mind if you do not credit me, unless you really want to, if you want to cross-post this song-edit onto other platforms. i didn't make the song; that was all Hans Zimmer and Camille. i just made this edit because i couldn't find any pre-existing song-edit at the time (that might have changed by now, i haven't checked since, idk lol)

I’ve been writing for a while, which actually started through here because tumblr posts with incorrect quotes led me to reading stories, which in turn made me start writing them. I was 11 or 12 at the time, fresh into my first real fandom, and very into wattpad stories, which as anyone on this site will know are unhinged, unedited, and due to the fact that most people writing there are very young like I was, are more than often lower quality than other writing sites (which is not to hate on wattpad writers - i’ve actually even read some really good and profound stories on there, both fanfic and otherwise, but that’s not the vast majority of the site, at least from what I’ve seen).

Honestly I first started writing because not only did it let me make the things I want to see - and was the start of my maladaptive daydreams though I didn’t know anything about that yet - but because it was also an outlet. Life was shitty, and it showed me that other people struggled, that my favorite characters could suffer from anxiety and depression and just shitty mental health, and that meant that I could project onto them. I wasn’t the one who wanted to kill myself dramatically or mutilate my body to get people to finally recognize I was in pain, the character was. I was too scared to ever harm myself physically, at least with a blade or the way I’d seen depicted in stories, but when I wrote, it didn’t matter how realistic it was or how gorey or graphic, because it was all fictional, and the rules were fake anyways.

And over time, obviously, my writing got better and I learned to Care About Myself more, until I didn’t really need to do that anymore. Except... I still liked making stories. I’d always been a storyteller, and writing gave me a medium to do so that would actually get me listened to, my stories could be long and rambling and people wouldn’t be annoyed or stop listening because it was a text, so they could stop reading if they wanted or not look at it or come back to it when they had more energy, and I wouldn’t directly face that, probably wouldn’t even know it was happening.

And, well, one of the things with time blindness is that you can be sitting there, know the time is 2:30 and you’ve got to eat something before you go to bed hours later, and yet you’ll blink and suddenly it’s 10:45 and you haven’t eaten anything, used the bathroom, or even really moved in 8 hours and where did the time go what happened. I started setting an alarm to remind myself to eat dinner, but that didn’t change the fact that I could get so “in-the-zone” that literal hours would blink by like seconds, because while my perception of time has always been wack, focusing - likely hyperfocus cause of the undiagnosed adhd - knows no rules or bounds and disregards the passage of time like a used bandaid that will inevitably show up again later where you least want it yet will go unnoticed and un-thought of until then.

Genuinely, I think I’ve grown a lot as a writer and I enjoy most of my own works, both because they’re what I want to see and because I can appreciate the skill that goes into it - which doesn’t mean I don’t still have a lot to learn, just that I’ve learned to stop shitting on my own abilities because it’s not perfect.

I’d always noticed when I was reading - usually proper books, when I was younger at least - different mistakes or ways things could’ve been articulated better, and when I didn’t know what a word or concept was I’d do everything I could to find out. So it’s no surprise that those skills transferred over to when I became a writer and took every source I could to try and improve my writing, some more valid than others.

Just... yeah. Writing helped me a lot, and I like where I’m at now.

Alright, it seems like Shaymin is pretty closely related to the Gracidea flower, right?"

Connie: "Yep! Legends say that Shaymin can use the Gracidea flower to undergo a sort of transformation."

Theo: "It's closer to something like Cherrim's different forms than something like Mega Evolution, right?"

Connie: "I believe so, yeah! Gracidea flowers are commonly given as a way to show gratitude or apologize after a fight. It's a Sinnohnan tradition, we've been doing it since... well, forever, I guess."

Theo: "Is Gracidea grown all over Sinnoh?"

Connie: "Oh, no. Just in Floaroma Town, actually! It's a very fussy plant, and the rich soils of the town are the only place it can grow. Well, one of very few, I guess."

Theo: "Oh, ok! You said it grows in a few places, where else could I find it?"

Connie: "Well, we don't actually know! The plant isn't native to Floaroma town, but where the flower actually comes from is a bit of a mystery. The most widely accepted theory is that it came here with Shaymin when the area was first blessed with its power. It DOES grow flowers on its back, maybe a seed or two fell off?"

Theo: "That makes a lot of sense, thank you! Has a Shaymin ever visited Floaroma Town since?"

Connie: "Yes, actually! Around every decade or so, we'll get a Shaymin visit. Ask anyone old enough to remember, and they'll tell you all about it!"

Theo: "Have YOU seen Shaymin, then?"

Connie: "Aaagh, no! Last time a Shaymin visited, I was out of town on vacation, so I'm one of the unlucky few who's never seen it in person. I think someone uploaded a video of it to MewTube, though. I'll send it to you if I can unearth it."
