Hi, guys! Hope you've had a good, or at least somewhat decent, 2023. I can't believe it's been well over a year since Hesokuri Wars officially shut down. Time really flies, doesn't it?

Despite how long it's been, I've been feeling a little nostalgic for this franchise lately. As much as this blog ended up neglecting its duties during the year leading up to the game's shutdown, I kind of want to make up for that by helping with its preservation. Others have already committed to doing so, but I think it'll help a few people if there was a single post consolidating everyone's efforts, so here we go:

Basic / General:

The Osomatsu-san AU Fandom Wiki has a page dedicated to listing the various Hesokuri Wars AUs, all of which have their own wiki pages with images

Tumblr user @/denkimystery has a pretty extensive catalog of information related to the Denki Mystery AU in Hesokuri Wars, including but not limited to a basic run-down of the characters, translations of the character descriptions / event stories / attraction buildings, and a timeline of the overarching story

Added 12/3/2023: Another good wiki to use is the Hesokuri Wars Wiki on Gamerch, though it's (possibly?) incomplete and in Japanese (credit to @/snowimatsu for providing!)

Sprites / Assets:

This is a callout post for the Stardew Valley modders out there. I can't find anything with Gravity Falls for the game on nexus and I need to be SATIATED

The next 4-star set has been announced and we’ve got more high school Matsus! This time they’re ready for swim class, simply called the Swimsuit (High School Student) set. 

They attack many enemies at once and have high HP and attack. They also power up the skills of other characters within the same set as well as characters from the original 3-star Swimsuit set.

This set will be available in the gacha on July 00!

As you can see above, Hesokuri Wars was going to add a set of the 18matsus in swimsuits, but for whatever reason, they ended up never seeing the light of day. A bit of an explanation on how these pics were uncovered:

Back then, the news bubble that popped up whenever a player launched the game was sourced from a webpage. Given that the staff would sometimes write the news in advance, they had a full section prepared announcing the release of this set, and so Mod Kara ripped the images from there and drafted this post in anticipation of its release. Needless to say, that never happened, but we couldn’t just post these, so these guys have been stuck in limbo for the past 4+ years. Buuut now that the game’s been shut down for over a year, it’s probably fine to release them, right?

Gotta wonder what happened that caused them to never be put into the game. Cheers to the set that never was!

I apologize if I offend anyone or am ignorant while writing these !! I try not to write about anything derogatory, but if an article is, please tell me and I’ll take it down.

The website mentioned above is basically where the actual articles are written down. While on the tumblr, posts are of Ichika and the others live, the website is where Ichika (or me) actually create an article on the event.

"Live posts" go up every Sunday (PST), along with their respective articles! The date might change sometimes according to my schedule, but I should usually get them up by then. (Though on that note, I have a wonderful procrastination problem, so don't hold this too closely).

Thinking about a what-if scenario where the poison Sora took gets passed on to the 1234ji. Ichi, Niji, and Yonji are fine thanks to their mods, but poor Sanji gets the worst of it.

Imagine he just passes out one day, with blood dripping from his nose and mouth and 124ji start freaking out. They were prepared to fight for their brother against any enemy, but how were you supposed to fight an illness?

Just the angst of it all, Sanji getting weaker and weaker each day, barely able to talk or open his eyes, his brothers remembering their mother in him and slowly regaining their emotions. All three of them are moving heaven and earth to find a way to cure Sanji, and somewhere in between they learn how to love each other again.

(Now I'm thinking what if Ichiji, the calmest of them all, is the one who panics the most. He's always been the most reliable and competent one, but now he's rendered helpless as he watches Sanji struggle.)

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH

Imagine ichiji going into germa's labs, demanding the scientists do something to help sanji and when they say they're trying their best but there isn't much they can do ichiji practically destroys everything in a fit of rage

It's only yonji coming in right at that moment that keeps him from killing everyone. Yonji decides he needs to overlook the whole thing, work with the scientists so they can get results faster

Niji contacts multiple countries to demand supplies, he can mimic judge's voice to be more intimidating and his actions grant them constant shipments of different medicines and medical equipments

Ichiji is exhausted, but seeing the other two working so hard gives him hope. He figures he should avoid getting in their way and dedicates his days to keeping sanji company
