It might be to add a fun element to the stories but genuinely, the fact that Ichika has so much trouble deciding simple things like "which riceball do I eat first" and then she explain her reasoning is so important for me. I've always had trouble deciding small things, and although I am better now my brain still thinks that there is a correct answer for EVERYTHING. When I was little I couldn't make myself walk sometimes because I had a way of walking created so it would be "right" which led me to freak out when I couldn't do it or something like that.

Like, I'm not kidding when I say it was really really really nice watching Ichika having trouble choosing apparently unimportant things, it made me feel seen.

And honestly the fact that Shiho was kind of like "I don't get it that seems a bit stupid" (not those words obv) and after explaining She was like "I think I kind of understand even if I don't get it" aaaaa I wish people were like that.
