Recently, it's been one problem after another, and I'm starting to feel overwhelmed. Something that once brought me joy now fills me with depression. I don't expect anyone to fully understand my thoughts, but I'm struggling.

The biggest concern weighing on me is my inability to keep up with the times. New sites emerge daily, and my work's lighting affects readers, causing discomfort. I'm exhausted from constantly worrying about causing distress. I feel useless in addressing these issues.

After sending out the drabble update, I'll be taking a break from online activities for a while. I'm unsure when the next update for my IFS will be available, but I appreciate your continued support. Thank you, and I apologize again for any inconvenience.

Tuesday, Tuesday, Tuesday ... another Tuesday in Tuesdayville ...

Survived the final foray into the shiny metropolis. A strange and busy dream world where everyone looked vaguely lost ... or perhaps they were, as I was, simply keen to get what they came for and get the hell out of Dodge.

Once home again I listened to the radio and people's recollections of Christmases past. I remembered my own. Lights and laughter, being happy to be part of the gift getting melee. I remembered the year I decided, last minute, loaded down as I was with bags, to get my mother a large sewing box with a handle and four legs. Trying to push through the crowds to reach the bus stop. Being helped onto the bus by the driver and being allowed to occupy two seats to accommodate all my shopping.

Enjoyed standing outside again with Smallest Dog last night. Vague strains of festive music seeping from the kitchen to where we stood in torch light. Nice to decompress knowing I don't have to get into the car for a whole week.

I loved Christmas then and I still love it now ... just differently. No gift buying any more, just time spent with friends. Music, strands of lights, shiny decorations and the warmth of being together.

It's Christmas Eve ... I'm wishing one and all a good Christmas from myself and my furry family ... hope you all have a good one!! :-) ...
