I think I might be overdoing things—because why am I over here feeling sluggish just from tweaking the Welcoming Ceremony? I’m on the hunt for strong descriptive words, especially since there’s going to be a lot of dialogue—not just with the ROs, but also with side characters, villains… everyone! I'm stressed, lol.

I want to have two different endings for the Welcoming Ceremony. One is already completed (the one at the top), and I’m working on an alternate version. Depending on the player’s choices, they might even get to meet N!

Right now, I’m stuck on a particular scene: the Emperor’s punishment. Please take a look at this screenshot—I want to cry without tears. Why am I making this so freaking branchy?

I've seen Yessnia mentioned before but I can't remember who that is. It sounds like she's going to be the main villain, but I don't remember meeting her yet in the demo. Also how important are ranks in this society? I get that black mark means you're failure, but T is the Crown Heir but he/she is only at rank C. Do the ranks just not matter in terms of high nobility?

Yesenia's name had been mentioned a few times in the public demo. Before waking up, there was a narrator’s POV, her name was mentioned there.

Just to clarify, Yesenia is not the main villain of the story. In the world you're in, she is the female protagonist, which means she’ll be an undying cockroach due to her protagonist halo. Below, I’ve attached two screenshots of Yesenia’s introduction from the public demo.

As for your second question, ranks are as important as breathing in this world. Have you ever watched Attack on Titan, where the titans breach the city walls just to gobble up a few humans? Vathilia is much like that... or perhaps I should compare it to a zombie apocalypse.

Hmm... anyways, my point is that while Nasmar and the other countries are experiencing a period of peace, that doesn't mean they aren’t under constant creature attacks. This will be touched upon when the MC gets reenrolled at Gledir Academy. Since Lady Anaya's death, the main gate to the Carnivores Creatures realm has remained closed, but a smaller one opened three days before your MC transmigrated into their new body. So, a Phasron rank is incredibly important.

For example, if you're a B rank, by simply releasing a bit of Runic energy it will signal lower-level Carnivorous Creatures like Gorewings to steer clear of you.

Honestly, I'd say T is making steady progress. In this world, a Phasron can live for millennia, and T hasn't even reached adulthood yet. To be C rank at such a young age is a feat few can accomplish.

And I'd also say T is close to the center of all ranks. Let’s disregard the SSS+ rank, as rumors claim that level is a myth. So, T has three more levels to go before reaching the peak of their power.

I'm still jotting down major plot points for this RO and the others, but let me see what I can share. 🤧

Gender: Non-binary

Blind: Walks with a black stick that can transform at will.

Personality: Quiet, observant, and calculating.

S was conceived through forced sexual intercourse. They are two decades younger than MC, T, and N. Born with a weak constitution and no rank mark, S was deemed unworthy of being recorded in the chronology book of the Montholon/Imperial family. Raised in seclusion within an abandoned pavilion deep inside the Imperial Palace, they were cared for by a wet nurse. Practically sealed off from the world, S spent their days experimenting with medicinal herbs and any poisons they could obtain. They developed a deep love for "ancient" books.

S’s parent remains unknown—only the Emperor knows their identity and how S was conceived.

Since S was an unknown figure with little presence in the original timeline, Nothingness is unable to piece together much information about them. No one knows their real name except the Emperor, Atticus and the Headmaster. In their past life, S met a brutal end. The Empress orchestrated a live broadcast, ensuring that drones captured every moment of the torture as S’s limbs were removed one by one. S was displayed outside the city gates as a warning to those who dared to ‘confuse’ the imperial bloodline. Despite the torture, S's vital veins and pulses were preserved, prolonging their suffering. They remained in that state for two months before finally succumbing to their injuries.

S has been reincarnated.

Cocky jackass. That's the best way to describe C Thunder. They're undeniably talented and their voice is one most people would kill for, but all of that's offset by their insufferable smirk and smug demeanor. You'd sooner jump off a bridge than spend a single minute alone with them, but Olympian seems to have other plans after signing them.

★ The Sweetheart: Stella/Eli Rose (m/f) ★

The other winner of Upstaged Season two and the only child of a beloved late actor, they're (one of) Hydra's notorious rival. You're not sure what rule of Upstaged says it's required to hate your competition to win, but Hydra's certainly fulfilled it. Rose… you get the feeling they couldn't care less about whatever grudge Hydra holds against them. How could they when they're being pulled in a hundred different directions daily without a break?

★ The Daredevil: Lucifer "Luci" Morningstar (m/f) ★

The Olympian-signed electric guitarist is the classic image of a daredevil; chaotic, reckless, and far too relaxed causing havoc. It's no surprise some of the gossip magazines have dubbed them as batshit crazy. An accurate rating, they'd remark. You get the feeling they're a little proud of the title, or maybe they've just chosen to embrace it.

★ The Bodyguard: Bellamy Ortega (m) ★

Cool, calm, and collected isn't enough to define Hydra's personal bodyguard, as you get a distinct feeling that even getting stabbed wouldn't faze him. So, obviously, Hydra's constant game of putting their life and reputation in danger for the thrill doesn't either. Or maybe he’s just had a lot of practice pretending it doesn't.

★ Rue Bèrd: (f) ★

A keyboardist signed with Olympian who freelances as your friend in her spare time.

★ Adrian Park: (genderfluid) ★

A producer employed by Olympian and Rue's long-term partner. They're also your friend when they want to be.

★ Karry Cenderat: (f) ★

Elysium's manager who conjures up a miracle every time she keeps another scandal from reaching the press's grubby hands.

★ Billy Matthews: (m) ★

The mysterious owner of the record label who drops by to see how things are going once in a blue moon.

Well, Anon, mystical creatures used to roam Vathilia. Remember that before the fog, the people of Vathilia were human, so they wouldn’t have dared to venture into these mystical creatures’ lairs to capture them as household pets, lol. 😂

After the fog swept through Vathilia, these mystical creatures nearly went extinct. The gods, having abandoned the land, allowed all life forms to lose the privilege of giving birth. The fog disrupted the natural order of the world itself, causing irreparable damage.

Rumor has it that after the fog swept Vathilia, the few remaining mystical creatures were captured. These mad men—scientists, researchers, or just deranged individuals—conducted twisted experiments. Others sought to discover what would happen if they consumed the flesh of these mystical beings.

These cruel individuals didn’t just stop at experimentation. They took parts of the mystical creatures—claws, fangs, scales, and even organs—and began to fuse them with other creatures. Some would even harvest blood and organs to sell on the black market. The blood of these creatures was especially sought after for its rumored power—those who consumed it experienced a rapid manifestation of Runic Energy.

What the sellers conveniently left out of the transaction was that those who used this blood had to keep consuming it to maintain their strength. If they stopped, their bodies would rapidly deteriorate, leading to madness—or worse.

Hi! I just wanted to say the game is wonderful. There are so many ideas that I end loving and so many questions about the world building.

I've a few questions about the Crown Heir.

Is there a difference between SR!Trysten/Trysta and HR!Trysten/Trysta? From what I've seen in other posts the character seems to be different, as if they were two different person. SR! It is that sick person who considers themself the center of the world. However, I don't know what to think of HR! Seeing they reactions towards MC, such as regret and how they heart warms happily when they are with MC, along with some things like in an old post mentioning that they would marry MC and his sister, it makes me think that those are Trysten/Trysta's true feelings. In the post telling Yesenia's past, it is said that OH was originally meant to be with Trysten/Trysta, which would be the same as the bond that T has with Yesenia. But even when T was bonded, they still had strong feelings for OH, something that Yesenia tried to erase, even so, as it happened with the kiss that T gave OH at the party, it seems that those feelings are still there.

I would summarize T Hardcore Route in "there are things that are beautiful for the simple fact of not being able to possess them". They had OH's love for a while, but now they lost it, and now Trysten/Trysta is slowly falling for the MC, feeling things from someone who is in love.

T is still a piece of trash who deserves to rot in the depths of the abyss, but HR! it seems that something of the original Trysten/Trysta still exists, which could make them even a little more decent. It doesn't mean that they deserves to be with MC after what they did to OH, only the other RO have that right. They are cinnamon rolls.

What would the RO think when they see the events of the Original Timeline and how Yesenia ruined everything? Especially T seeing that Yesenia mentally manipulated them and Cadmus preparing all kinds of torture.

Anon, this took extra time, so I apologize! I felt like I needed to revisit a lot of plot points before attempting to answer your question properly. This will be a long one.

Before we get into the nitty-gritty, let me point out that in the past, Lady Anaya had a habit of sealing away the OH’s memories.

There’s a distinction between the Soft-Core Revenge (SCR) and Hard-Core Revenge (HCR) versions of T.

SCR T leans toward believing that the MC is playing hard to get, especially when they "coincidentally" bump into or try to avoid them—whether at school, in the cafeteria, or simply existing in Nasmar. This route is a mix of the Good Life and Hardcore Revenge paths—while T is just as insufferable as in the Good Life route, there's an added layer of obsession. HCR, on the other hand, is about making T suffer. The MC keeps them at arm’s length, refusing to take any crap from anyone. Because of this distance, T starts noticing small details about the MC—along with memories buried deep in their mind. Ultimately, the readers will decide what these details are, but let’s use a simple example: Say the MC is allergic to cucumbers. During a dinner before the big competition, T will notice that the MC has the exact same allergy as Yesenia. This realization will unsettle them, making them question things they never have before.(I use "MC" because the body now belongs to the PC.)

When the OH was younger, they noticed gaps in their memories—for instance, they might remember going flower picking one day, but not who they met or what happened afterward.

Even though this route is hardcore, T is still genuine toward the MC. However, expressing those emotions is difficult for them. And when they do manage to show vulnerability, they’re quickly reminded of their position in the relationship—that what exists between them is just a casual hookup.

By using sex as a guise, T gets to spend extra time with the MC. However, this only makes things worse—memories and flashbacks of their past with Yesenia begin resurfacing, but oddly, as these memories emerge, the face of Yesenia blurs and is replaced by the MC's face.

T carries deep regret and guilt. They’ve harmed the OH in many ways, yet, despite everything, they did their best to protect them. But someone is always interfering—T feels like a puppet, their strings pulled by others.

In the updated plotline, T and Yesenia are ill-fated, which is why, at the Ritual Union, [REDACTED].

What Yesenia doesn’t realize is that even if she strips away someone’s memories, the emotions tied to those moments never truly disappear. They linger, buried beneath the surface, waiting for the slightest tug or push to piece themselves back together.

No matter how much is erased or tampered with, T’s feelings for the MC will always remain. That is the root of their growing obsession—one that grows with every passing second.

And that kiss? It wasn’t child’s play. In the updated plot, T despises the idea of swapping spit with others—but with the PC, everything feels different.

And it’s because of this love that T will be driven down a path of no return, uncovering secrets about their family they were never meant to know.

Honestly, Anon, I’m conflicted about a lot of things. The changes surrounding this RO are ones I believe will leave my readers completely shaken. But beneath it all, the only thing I can say for sure is that T is innocent in all of this.

…But still, I refuse to bend. I hate this character.

As for your final question—yes, something like this will happen at the end of Arc 1. Yesenia will cross an unforgivable line, realizing that everything she once held in her grasp is slipping away—T, the wealth of the ${surname2} household—and that realization will make her snap.

History will repeat itself. But this time, the hunter won’t stop at just 2,000 souls.

Everyone’s reaction falls into spoiler territory, but one thing is certain—Artilius knows everything. He even helped Yesenia orchestrate it.

Talk and Too sweet by Hozier is so Cadmus/Atticus coded

This part caught my attention.

I'm not one who fully grasps the depth of music lyrics, but from what I understand.

Talk by Hozier really resonates with these two men. Even though Atticus seems like the "gentle" type, he struggles to express his wants and desires because of the heavy guilt weighing on him. This guilt prevents him from truly opening up, which is why he never fights back when Cadmus wants to beat him up. 😂😂

On the other hand, Cadmus is even more complex. He tends to brood in the corner, swallowing his hurt rather than burdening the MC, because all he wants is to see them happy.

The song's theme of struggling to communicate one's desires and emotional needs really fits with these two. I feel as though Talk speaks to the frustration of being unable to fully connect, and that’s exactly what Atticus and Cadmus are dealing with.

Too Sweet is such a bittersweet song. Sometimes, love alone just isn’t enough, but knowing someone is practically your soul mate leaves you at a crossroads. If you let that person go, you'll never be able to find another like them, or you'll likely never love in the same way again.

Cadmus wishes the MC would live for all eternity with him, but how can the MC fulfill that dream of his if there’s always outside interference? Cadmus doesn't want to blame the MC, but with every passing moment, this interference is taking its toll. What should he do when the one thing he desires most feels just out of reach?

Beside enchantment that doesn't do anything in itself, MC is physically stronger and has enanched senses like every pharson of their same rank (plus the aether vision), and the Shadow Power right? So one ability that can be directly used, and one that can be used to boost another ability.

Let me provide you with a breakdown of the Enhancer's ability.

The Enhancer ability permanently boosts a Phasrons skills and abilities. If a lower-level Phasron has made no progress in their rank, the user of this ability can change that instantly. Upon activation, a sphere filled with Runic Energy appears beneath the Enhancer’s feet, forming a direct connection between them and their target. Through this link, the Enhancer can increase the target’s power, pushing them to a higher level.

At full potential, the Enhancer ability can be used on a battlefield to strengthen anyone within a 1000-mile radius. However, this comes with risks—while the ability grants immense power, it also drains the Enhancer's Runic Energy. Once an enhancement is made, it cannot be undone, making it crucial for the Enhancer to choose their targets wisely.

The Enhancer ability shares similarities with Nova, especially in terms of control. At its peak, the Enhancer can inject Runic Energy into a target's body, essentially turning them into a puppet under the user's control. This energy manipulation grants the Enhancer full control over the target’s movements, abilities, and decisions, but there's a catch—pushing too much Runic Energy into the target can cause their body to combust, disintegrating them from the inside out.

Now, Anon, I think you may have misunderstood, or perhaps I didn’t explain it clearly enough. The Enhancer ability was something the OH manifested at a young age—actually, from the moment of their conception.

For generations, it has been believed—though more as a myth—that a specific ability is passed down to whoever inherits the mantle of the $!{surname2} family. In Lady Anaya’s lineage, that inherited ability is Aether-Gaze.

Each Phasron can possess only two abilities: a main ability and a sub-ability. The OH originally had only one ability, but their second ability could only be awakened after the direct heir or heiress of the $!{surname2} household—Lady Anaya—died.

With Aether-Gaze, one can glimpse into their own future or the future of those around them. This means Lady Anaya knew she would die. She also foresaw the OH’s death, the arrival of a foreign soul into their body, and the horrors that would eventually consume the Valenzuela household—yet she did nothing to stop it. Why? 🤷‍♀️

The only ability that was stolen from the OH was their Enhancer ability. Meanwhile, the ability stolen from Lady Anaya was Nova.

Hello~ it's me, self-proclaimed T's sleep paralysis demon. Came by to quickly ask how in depth the hardcore route is if (may be permanent but can easily change decisions) now that not blocked off from other ros as long you don't do the devil tango with T. Just asking because I got some ideas on world domination that goes farther than ruining Prince Trashcan life, which don't get me wrong is my favorite thing but my mc Esmeralda is demon in sheep clothing. (though his tears does rejuvenate my Mc's soul like a witch drinking an elixir out of children's innocent hair.)

I do find it funny how so many people (me included) have a hard time choosing hardcore revenge or soft-core revenge route when the peaceful option is right there but so quickly denied by many readers? (Makes me wonder how many actually just want to chill and ignore the big blue? Teal? Menace)

But I guess that gives kudos to you and your writing to make a character so hated/loved all at once that you got some readers willing to be his stalker. Which makes me wonder with this new update how much the ros was changed? If at all?

However, the final draft will include that feature, with one or two romances being locked behind the HC and SC revenge paths (mainly S and N). I'm almost curious to know what you have planned, but with the endings I have for the first Arc, sitting on the throne after trampling over the original host’s family and the imperial family is impossible. These characters need to survive for Arc 2! Revenge will be had, but the Montholon throne won’t be taken. Stop with that bad thought. 😂

You all really seem to love the violence—or maybe it's the injustice of how the OH was treated that has you all wanting to play the hero. But by playing the hero, how can you be so sure you won’t fall for T? I’m not slacking off with this villain, you know. I can’t wait to start revealing all the plot points about them.
