My heart is heavy having to write this right after seeing you all for the first time in a while. I wore a hat today during rehearsals which had a phrase that disappointed and made a lot of people uncomfortable, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I wore the hat not knowing the historical or the political meaning behind the phrase, and as a result have disappointed and hurt a lot of people, and I take that very seriously.

I am sorry. There is no excuse or reason for this. I fell short, and I was careless. Moving forward, I will make sure to consider everything and think deeply before I act.

I will humbly accept all criticisms and judgement for my mistake. The hat was immediately discarded. I sincerely apologize once again.

When I haven't seen you for a while…I really miss you. There are times when you just feel so far away And so I often end up saying “I miss you”. Butㅜ it feels like if I say it too often, the words lose importance so I end up not being able to say them. I guess it's because I'm getting older. It's funny, isn't it, how telling you that I miss you just becomes harder and harder But I miss you, I miss those times. But it's so weird - why is it that whenever I hear the name ‘ARMY’,and don't get me wrong, but I end up needing a drink? Why I believe I was meant to live in the one-piece universe as a shifter 🏴‍☠️

Well, you know me and my love for one piece, hehe, and I look forward to seeing @lamelysgirlie, @edgarvaldenlvr, and of course the straw hats. I don't know why, but I feel so connected and adore this dr so much. I guess the reason why I wanna live there is the sense of freedom luffy showed on what being a pirate is like. It all makes sense now, I was meant to transition into that universe because I grew up watching the anime and shifting there to experience the adventures will for sure heal my inner child. After going to my waiting room as my first stop, obviously. One piece is just such a great story. I recently scripted what my first shift is gonna be like and I've decided to shift to the beginning of the time skip after the 2 year training period, our crew reunites at the same place we got separated 2 years ago and the first person I'll see is Luffy with the rest of the crew ready to set sail. I feel like all the things that I went through in this reality and me becoming a shifter really led me to make this final decision to have one piece as my new cr after permashifting to my waiting room I'll forget about this cr but still have the knowledge to shift. I scheduled to post this on Saturday but might as well share this with y’all today. Now that I actually think about it, I think it really was destiny because I had to hop into different realities, but one piece just simply clicked for me. I never resonated with any other circle than I have with the straw hats especially like they have a special place in my heart and yes I have many dr hyperfixations but I fear one piece has taken the cake. @tealbeats : I know you're not super active on Ez (and I still owe you a lot of stuff actually) but I wanna say I love the amount of his personality you're able to paint into every interaction. You have such a way of making him the perfect amount of insufferable (in the best way) while still twisting it in SUCH an endearing light. I love that annoying little bug and I'm so glad you do too, because it really shows.

@agonizedembrace : Han it's been really nice to reach out and get into contact again. You're genuinely a really funny, interesting, and thoughtful person who cares about Evelynn in such a way that brings out every aspect of her character. The agony, the sex appeal, the sass, the confidence, you just nail all of it and I'm really hoping we can get stuff going soon!

@bendwill : Elder scrolls blogs are few and far between, but Miraak is absolutely one of those characters that deserves to be more written out. We haven't gotten to do a ton but please don't hesitate to hit me up and scream ideas at me, the idea of Tamrielic Zagreus is very fascinating to me. I also want to say that I'd love to plot more and yell ideas all day with you, your style is gorgeous and I find myself appreciating characters on your blog I've never even heard of or are barely familiar with. Rogue as a character has such fascinating potential with her powers, and that's not to mention her attitude towards others in general. ⊹  🕰️ CHILDHOOD ECHOES — ✶ do you have the same childhood in your dr, or is it different?

a bit different, but a bit of the same. okay, it’s a lot different.. the time period is not that of the 21st century but is the 18th century. so no phones, no tvs, not even an american politician in sight. do you still have rights? yes, of course, i made sure of that.. anyway, i swayed off from the question. 

my parents are the same as this reality but i dont communicate with them anymore. i grew up in a small wooden house shack instead of a furnished clean house with actual floors. i didnt attend school past my teenage years but i did have a longing for learning. i often snuck and stole any books i happened to come across and read them under the shade of any tree i found myself comfortable under. i was desperate for freedom away from the confines of my family. if i wasnt reading, you could probably find me swimming in any body of water i could locate or running through a forest thinking i could talk to the animals there. though as i grew older, these whispers of pirates grew louder. they weren’t common in my area and most shoved the tales off as if they were nothing. but me, i grew fascinated. little did i know, id be one of them soon…

⊹  🛍️ TREAT YOURSELF — ✶ what’s the coolest thing you own in your dr that you don’t have in your cr?

oh my, so many things! first off, of course, a pirate ship, i mean you don’t see those everyday here. also, my wardrobe isn’t composed of jeans or tee shirts or running shoes, but rather heavy coats, loose fitting tops, elegant jewelry, boots and when i feel like it… yes… a pirate hat. fast fashion jewelry has never been uttered in a sentence here before, as i’m covered in silver and precious stones that don’t rust after the oceans touch. now, how could i be a true pirate if i didn’t prove the stories to be true, obviously my boat does have chests of treasures stored away. money is not green paper but instead golden coins. weapons like pistols and grenades also fill the inventory. and on the top of my list, it’s my favorite, my baby, my prized possession, my sword. made of iron and a hilt in the color of black, this is the one thing i’ll never trade. handy in battle and makes me look more intimidating than before. but seriously, almost everything i own in my pirate life is something i’ve never met in this reality. 

⊹  ⏳ TIMELESS WONDER — ✶ how does time work in your dr? is it linear, fluid, or something else entirely?

time is such a funny thing to me. because it’s not real. in my opinion, time is whatever you choose it to be. but enough of my theorization, this is about my dr. in this reality, we’re almost always near a screen. because of that, we always have access to check what time it is. as i’m getting ready to post this, the world is telling me it’s 2:16. as a pirate, you don’t have a phone and the only time you care about is having a good one. if you wanted to know what hour you were in while sailing your ship, youre more than likely checking the sun and the stars. their location will tell you what you want to know. i’d say time is fluid. on a boat, days are often the same. you wake in the same ship on the same waves you fell asleep listening to. you leave you chambers and see the same view of endless water ahead of you. did you last leave land two days ago or three? was it a week ago or yesterday? 

anyways, i hope these were good answers, i sometimes feel as if i just go on and on about whatever and forget the actual question…

me as an imogen’s selfishness built from her isolation is one of the most interesting things about her truther (which, before someone vagues me on twitter . i don’t think this doesn’t mean she can’t and hasn’t been altruistic but that’s a separate post) + someone who loves when my favourite characters have their lives threatened and/or they die. i am eating well after last night’s ep.

as someone who cares for the world of exandria and despises everytime ashton opens his mouth about the gods and clocked into ashton and ludinus wearing the same hat a while ago . having to listen to them talk about how they’re better than ludinus because (checks notes) they want to do exactly what ludinus wants to but their motives (the exact same kind of trauma that made him tell ludinus to “grow up” . me BEGGING him to take his own advice) are better ??? i’m not eating as well but what can you do.

my grip on this campaign as a completionist who Is enjoying cr even if i don’t think this is a particularly strong campaign is truly resting on the shoulders of imogen impulsive-and-single-minded temult, fearne “if the world’s burning i want a front row seat” calloway, orym “only member of the group capable of a thought for the ‘little guys’ the party claims to stand for” of the air ashari, and chet who is there for vibes (and to protect his family). also shout out to braius for joining the one party where betraying them would make him easily break into the top 3 morally upstanding members of the party.

Okay, I don't want my page to just be a D&D hate spot, but I posted a big thing last night about how PF2E respects the GM's time while D&D does not, and I hoped that would be the end of my thoughts on this, at least for a little while.

But this morning, a perfect example of this fell into my lap. A Screen Rant article detailing how there will be no monster creation rules included within the the 2025 Monster Manual, and, based off the language they use, there is no plan to release these rules in the near future.

In an interview with Chris Perkins and James Wyatt, lead designers for the new half-edition/remaster, both said that there were no plans for a monster creation guide, with the closest bit of advice being how to reskin other monsters for your needs. The logic behind this, according to Perkins, was that "we wanted to give the DM creature-building that was quick, that was easy, and that wouldn't cause them to create a monster that was off-CR and potentially wreck their encounter."

I'll be honest, that logic is hilarious to me because, as someone who ran the game for eight years and was very plugged into the community, everyone knows that the easiest way to wreck an encounter is to FOLLOW THE CR SYSTEM.

This whole section of the interview comes across as very condescending. Wyatt claims that the math they use to balance encounters in-house is just "too complicated to print in a book." So, instead of taking responsibility for their system, they've given the GM literally nothing to go off of if they want to design a monster. If you TPK your party, that's on you, not us. We told you it was above your paygrade.

It's getting to the point where some of the design choices are so baffling that I can't help but put a tin-foil hat on. Do they not want to print their monster making rules because there are no in-house guidelines and they just eye-ball CR? Is there an exec at WOTC that struck down putting out monster creation rules for fear that it would cut into the sale of monster books further down the line? Like, I know these ideas are conspiracy bait, and I know they have no grounding, but when the game about fighting monsters has no good reason for why they would cut monster creation rules, how can I not fall into conspiracy thought?

I don't know, am I being ridiculous here? Please tell me if I'm being ridiculous.

Was he trying to show us he has that hat he was seen in on their way to their Silver day dinner, was he?

I'm going with that explanation, given, as per usual, there were those claiming it's not them.

The hat comes off 1:30 minutes into the live, and most of the live is done without it on.

So yeah, I guess the hat was on for a purpose.

As mentioned in my post yesterday, JK showed up to the live in a Mihara Yasuhiro shirt. Seems to be a brand both him and JM are liking lately. JK wore another shirt from same brand and their shoes for his radio interview earlier that day, and also wore the brand for his Spotify clips, and JM wore same brand shirt for his flight back to Seoul (oh, and wore same shoes that JK did yesterday in one of his pre-Face dance clips) and several times before that too (google it, you'll see). So, either ambassadorship on the way or just a brand liked in their household. I'm going with the latter. I'd even go so far as to say that the this is JM's doing. We all know what JK's fave brand is.

It wasn't a long live. Just over 17 minutes. But once again we get to see JK, real JK. He's so real, so accessible I think is the way to put it. There is just something about him, how he talks to us, what he shares with us, how comfortable he feels to do these things with his fans, let us in the way he does. He isn't afraid to show us he's just like us, he's human and flawed and happy or sad and just let us in to see him as he is. He has this special connection with these people that are utter strangers to him, but at the same time he feels this deep love towards them.

Precious is the word I feel describes him.

One of youtubers I follow did video about recent Critical Role episode, which caused some controversy over controversial decision by guest Game Master, Aabria Iyengar. The youtuber explains for nearly 20 minutes why they disagree with her decision and considers it bad GM-ing. Finishes by underlining that a single mistake doesn't undermine whole career or makes you a bad GM. I go into the comment section and it's full of people tripping over each other to declare how they lost all respect to Aabria. I go to Critical Role reddit, same attitude.

I don't even watch CR but geez, this fandom sure is fast to condemn black women at drop of a hat.

so I also don't follow CR... but this is a common occurrence in all fandoms. a black female character makes a mistake or acts against the majority nonblack cast in some way that's automatically perceived as unforgivable and the entire fandom comes for the Black female character to rake her across the coals.

I'll give a slightly more recent example. Ava Duvernay was called out in some of posts for not lending her voice to freeing palestine. when in fact anyone that follows Ava knows she's been pro palestine for a while and yet there's loads of self righteous white "allies" jumping to cancel actors and celebrities of color but if you go into their following lists they follow quite a few white celebrities and don't demand the same energy for Palestine.

[New Year, New Monsters! I am feeling much less burnt out than I was for the back half of 2023, and have built up a small backlog of new writing. I'm going to keep monsters I post to 2/week for now, to give myself time to go through said backlog in case the burnout rears up again when I'm back to work.

So for my first trick, is a monster NPC I actually wrote back in like September, but didn't post. Consider her an epilogue to the whole "Monster Girl Summer" thing. Ranna is @strawberry-crocodile's character, and fits with some of my other monstrous NPCs. She's Doctor Shiny's main minion, and their relationship serves as sort of a nasty counterpart to Gigi and Priscilla's. Of course, if you just want to use the stat block as a particularly burly slaad enforcer type, that works just as well as Ranna's baroque and macabre backstory.]

Ranna CR 18 CE Aberration This blue, frog-like humanoid has a triangular fanged snout, warty skin and enormous claws growing from the backs of their hands. A red gemstone is embedded in their skull, right between the eyes.

Marina Rhynne was an alchemy student at Endirion School in Absalom, prone to anxiety and to thinking with her stomach. She caught the eye of Doctor Agatha Shiny, who used the pretext of a dinner invitation and offer of a graduate program to abduct her and implant her with an alchemically treated red slaad egg. Doctor Shiny succeeded in one of her goals, which was to cause memories to be passed from the host to the parasite, but failed in that the resultant blue slaad did not maintain the intelligence of her progenitor. The resultant slaad, named Ranna, could recall her previous life in a hazy, dream-like way, but the predominant personality trait that was carried over was hunger.

Ranna is now Doctor Shiny’s Number One Minion, her assassin, procurer and lover. If Doctor Shiny needs someone eliminated or an unusual creature captured and brought to her, Ranna is the one to do it. She usually tracks her targets as an unassuming humanoid until she can set up an ambush and remove her greater hat of disguise. Ranna fights with her natural weapons almost exclusively, although she does occasionally toy with targets by battering them with heavy objects hurled by telekinesis. Although she is lapdog-loyal to Doctor Shiny and always follows her instructions for her specified victims, Ranna enjoys collateral damage, which usually involves biting bystanders. She views any red slaadi that are created through chaos phagethe way a proud parent views their children, and is happy to hear of any death and destruction they create.

Ranna’s personality is playful in a cruel way. She sees her progenitor, Marina Rhinne, as a pathetic figure, and has an air of contempt towards academic pursuits in general. She still appears as Rhynne when abroad in Absalom, and is the terror of Endirion School’s faculty, staff and students as Doctor Shiny’s personal assistant. Ranna is happy to play the bad guy so that Doctor Shiny can maintain her impeccable public reputation, and takes matters into her own claws if anyone gets too close to the truth about Doctor Shiny’s goals and activities. Ranna tends to dispose of the evidence of her murders by eating the corpses of her victims. She is also an excellent chef. Doctor Shiny does not eat food that Ranna prepares unless she is very sure of where the meat came from.

Recap For Vod 9 — Pronto Pra Mais

recap for this vod! At the time of first posting I haven’t posted vod 8’s yet, but I have already written up some of vod 8’s recap so some things reference that. nothing majorly important though—you can understand without

-continues on from vod 8

-felps continues to mine to try and find stuff

-not learning from the centipede, Felps hears a strange noise and starts digging towards it. it was sculk this time!

-walkie talkies with guaxi. guaxi explains why he’s kicked out of the city (the signs + the book telling him to leave + he knows too much) 

-felps mentions he saw another ghost and then explains what happened to him (the sign with the '-' face appearing while he was mining)

-guaxi was trying to talk to bagi but his phone wasn’t working? “I would call. I would realise you weren’t there”- felps (not verbatim translation) 

-he tells guaxi about ratinho-o-o

-they share photos of their experiences 

-they talk more about guaxi being kicked out of the city and Felps suggests he talks to Alice 

-felps continues mining

-felps finds the Kirby hat \o/!! And finds diamonds after!!

-guaxi is going back to the city and says he’ll yell on the walkie talkie if he runs into trouble. Their code word for danger is “pepino”

-during this time while Felps is mining, guaxi and felps both say the code word as a joke

-felps finds a cave and runs around looking for diamond. he mostly avoids attacking monsters (except for skeletons that shoot at him + sometimes the crabs) and instead prefers to run away from them

-he tries to contact guaxi during this time and guaxi doesn’t respond for a bit, but he does eventually respond and tells Felps that he took a mask from a monster and is undercover in the city. Felps tells him to be careful 

-guaxi says the code word for real this time, but doesn’t seem to be in immediate danger 

-immediately after this Felps almost accidentally blows up his walkie talkie… he opened a trapped chest and threw it in a panic 

“I’m pretending that I’m crazy”-G

“You don’t need to pretend”-F

“What?”

“I don’t understand”

-felps changes the topic 

-he finds a modded abandoned mineshaft and explores that, meanwhile guaxi is trying to find Matt

-felps finds a magic robe + digging claws!! + a magic mirror!! The magic robe makes him invisible in the dark (optifine torchlight not included) + the digging claws mean he can break stone with his hands (these are outfits he wears). the magic mirror teleports you to your respawn point

-felps calls the warden “Wagner” 

-continues caving, but runs into a tower as part of the same mineshaft mod that takes him all the way back to the surface \o/

-continues exploring the mineshaft

-he finds a plant hat which he keeps on for a bit

-guaxi calls out the code word again, but seems okay…? 

-after more caving and looking for diamonds Felps uses the mirror to go back to his respawn point (a random bed in the middle of nowhere, but at least it’s not a cave) 

-felps is heading back to Valigma and realises he doesn’t disappear in the moonlight, only full darkness

-felps is back in town (guaxi is still looking for Matt) and now he is being hit by someone/something he can’t see (only for half a heart or so though)

-he is hiding behind Julia now. and is now trapped in the store? He tells Guaxi to come to him 

a book is thrown by an invisible force that reads “eles te contaram né FELPS….” | “they told you right FELPS….”

“What?” 

thrown another book: “seus dois amigos, voltaram… Voltaram pra lá…”

“Ah, no…? ...I think lying to you won’t change anything right? You know everything” (not verbatim translation) 

Next book: “exatamente!”

(I’m not translating the rest of this to this detail—timestamp 1:07:00 should get you there for this conversation. just know Felps is asking questions. I’ll summarise a bit, but best to watch for yourself)

-the invisible force starts using signs to communicate (maybe to not crowd Felps’ inventory—he was saving the books he was thrown though)

-Guaxinim shows up but he can’t get in so he’s just looking at Felps through a gap in the store

-the invisible force asks if Felps can trust them and he says he doesn’t know 

-the invisible force is probably the same as the one that kicked guaxi out of the city? They want Felps to leave “like [them]”. They tried to leave, but didn’t leave in time and are now stuck here 

“Don’t you think it’s strange that only you new ones who arrived here see these things?”-IF

“Of course I find it strange!!!”-F

-he continues on to say that his curiosity is stronger and that of course he could leave but he wants to know what’s going on 

-the invisible force lets him leave the store and tells him to be careful and think about things

-silly thing: when the walls blocking the doors leave a firefly flies into the building and Felps treats it like it is the invisible force 

-felps meets up with guaxi who was still outside the building to talk about what just happened

-briefly gets distracted by the fact his waypoints give Guaxi’s skull mask eyes pfft

-Matt joins them \o/ they currently are keeping up pretenses that guaxi is a new arrival to the city and not actually Guaxinim. “he has nothing to do with Guaxinim”. before Matt can really respond to this they reveal the truth that this is Guaxinim pfft

-they tell Matt about guaxi being on the run. Felps was about to mention it then checks with guaxi to see if he can, then tells Matt

-(guaxi and felps have matching Kirby hats on. important)

-guaxi catches Matt up on his adventures (going to the factory + all the events leading up to him being kicked out of the city)

-Throughout this entire meeting because it is night they are constantly being attacked by monsters. They try to go somewhere inside but are being chased by monsters still

-they hide out in Alice’s house for a moment, but guaxi doesn’t want to speak there. instead they are going to the “pedra do Felps” aka the cube. nevermind—they are going to a player-built house. as they go Felps is explaining the cube

-okay they reach this house and finally guaxi is explaining things to Matt

-ratinho-o-o appears, interrupting them

-gabe also appears (it’s his house they’re at I think pfft)

-another rat

-someone with a mask in the pool? Disappears before anyone can get a good look

-wuant teleports in

-pink sign rat points out that the night seems to never end (I think)

-Matt explains that he found a book with coordinates that led him to a construction. Music started playing and he found a chest with 9 buckets of blood in an L shape

-another rat (3 now)

-they are going to the coordinates Matt was talking about 

-“man where will Matt take us? I don’t trust him very much”- Guaxinim (not verbatim translation). this was potentially said in earshot of Matt, but was said to Felps

-Matt isn’t sure if he should be taking them but is anyway

-the rats gave them bread and cheese

“I don’t think he knows where he’s going.”-F

“Oh hey—respect me, Felps”-M

-they arrive at the coordinates and Felps figures out what the song is (I think)

-they have to destroy everything and leave no trace, but Matt wants to keep the chest to see if the letter keeps changing (it’s O this time)

-Matt says every time he’s talked with spirits it’s been with a red candle, felps says he spoke with a spirit but not with candles 

-they run off elsewhere chasing something that was seen in the sky? It becomes day while they do this. maybe the thing Matt was sent to created an unnatural night so when they destroyed it things went back to normal?

-Matt thinks the spirit he was talking to is someone who died at the accident 

-Matt explains his theory about the city + what happened to it + the masks (1:37:00)

-some scary distorted disembodied voice starts talking to them?? it just says one thing then Matt goes back to finishing his theory 

-“they’re listening to everything all the time”-Felps

-Guaxinim has heard this voice before in the factory I believe 

-felps takes a photo of Matt

-gabe says the voice’s (factory owner) name is Arnaldo and that he deals with the bank and the factory… I think 

-they continue theorising and talking about things along these lines (Matt’s theory + factory owner)

-(Felps starts looking at backpack upgrades during this pfft)

-wuant doesn’t trust the rats, Felps does—mentions they gave him cheese

-Guaxinim also trusts them purely because they don’t wear masks lol

-basically Matt is saying not to put on the masks if they’re offered and guaxi says something about if he puts one on they need to help him take it off or something. Guaxi essentially wants to use himself as an experiment on what the masks do because he’s already been kicked out of the city 

-rats come back \o/

-more talking and such about the important stuff, but mostly closing it off. they all start going somewhere

-Matt and Felps stop to talk about the cube (in the rats’ accent). this does mean they lose track of the others, but they find them again easy enough

-Felps is busy trying to figure out how a magic item works (blazing flask) while the others plan in the background

-they all go their separate ways, and then Felps runs into Matt and wuant again. At Matt’s prompting, Felps explains why the city hall is closed

“were the people who set fire to it specialists?”-M

“No I’ve never heard of anyone who set fire to the hall. I’ve never heard of anyone who set fire to it by pressing a button and dropping a lantern”-F (who definitely did drop a lantern and start a fire) 

-Matt and Felps finally exchange numbers

-wuant leaves and Matt sends a photo of Quel to Felps asking if he knows who it is.

-felps explains what he knows about quel, but mentions that guaxi knows more because he was there longer

-they say goodbye to each other but Felps keeps watching Matt from a distance a little. Felps listens in to Matt and Guaxi talking through the walkie talkies briefly—they don’t say much

-felps continues to try and figure out how the blazing flask works

-matt guaxi and Felps talk a little via walkie talkies

Originally set to follow Gingerbrave and friends in his timeline’s adventure, time altercations caused him to be trapped in the oven. When he passed out from the heat, instead of being eaten by the witch, he found himself laying in the fabrics of time as courtesy of a certain TBD director. After a long while of life under the curious time cookie, the spunky time!Skater Cookie effortlessly skates through timelines with his elusive candy board time scissors. Many TBD employees are warned about the shenanigans of this eccentric boarder!’

time!Skater is the Skater Cookie from the post season 6 story mode universe. As stated in his fake description, this Skater Cookie never met gingerbrave and friends, instead being raised in the space-time continuum by Timekeeper.

for those who were my mutual in 2021 when I was a edit+hc request blog, you may remember time!Skater actually. shoutout @foggymud cuz they developed the idea with me and it was really fun! He used to look like this:

After getting back into cr 2 years after loosing interest, I wanted to develop time!Skater using the og concept and cleaning up the design.

I would come to forego the pink icing hair. I really like pink and liked his hair, but in practice, it didn’t fit at all with the modern design. It was too jarring and out of place, so for my modern skater renditions I give him brown hair.

The og time!skater also wasn’t older than prime!skater, evidenced by his youthful appearance+usage of the canon sprites as a base. I decided to age up the modern incarnation of the character for both character and design motives; I wanted to portray a sharper, more weathered cookie while still keeping the youthful air that prime has. Making him a preteen felt like a waste and making him a young adult felt wrong character-wise, so a vaguely teenaged skater felt best.

speaking of sharpness, I incorporated real shape language and balance into this modern Time’s design. (for simplicity, I’ll refer to time!Skater as Time, and the regular/pre-6 timeline Skater as Prime.) I used a balance strategy of “thin center with large, flashy sleeves and pants”, where the og design had the large sleeves + tucked-in shirt and it ended up feeling too middle-heavy. I also added some sharper points to Time this time around to balance out all the round and give a slightly more “edgy” appearance I suppose?

I liked the old Time design’s outfit ok, aside from the aforementioned issues, but it felt a tad bit unoriginal. I wanted to keep the essence of the old design, but also incorporate more interesting colors and thought-out shapes.

The use of CookieRun’s signature time-coded gold was one major thing I wanted this time around, adding little splashes of it in the hair and outfit. Trying to show both Prime’s essence and the affects time has had on Time’s personality.

the eyes are different too! in the og design they were this weird multi-color gummy colors? It had the same issue as the pink hair; too clash-y imo. So modern Time’s are a cryptic yellow sclera with blue pupil (if you saw the teaser post Yk what I’m talking abt).

I think I finally made y’all wait long enough (and procrastinated on writing this long enough) so you finally get Salem posting part 2!! I also changed up her design a lil very recently! It’s not much though, just more curl to her hair and a gemstone on her hat that resembles a gemstone on the Shadow Queen. I have the art on my art blog too, but here it is! I made the background myself too based off of a completely new location in my TTYD lore :3

Before chapter 4, if you talk with some NPCs, they speak of a lanky ghost-like creature that travels alone and seems to be afraid of its own shadow. It’s supposed to be vague for now but it’s foreshadowing to Salem. There will be a mandatory cutscene between Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 which you will see Salem physically for the first time in the Rogueport Underground. She’ll mutter to herself about how cruel her mother is for looming over her like this. Salem asks nobody why can’t she just live in peace and that the end will come soon. She starts rambling to herself about a garden she needs to keep up with in Petal Meadows. It will be then, mid sentence, that Salem notices the player. The room turns pitch black and then Salem is gone. You will have to remember this information after you get Vivian, because her veil ability is needed to make Salem comfortable enough to appear in her first secluded location in Petal Meadows. If you decide to pursue her, that's when the sidequest truly begins. Your second encounter with Salem in Petal Meadows will leave her shocked, as she is very scared of Vivian. Sadly your partner does not know much about Salem, but the physical similarities does confirm that Vivian and Salem are both Shadow Sirens, and thus related. Salem is scared that Vivian will try to drag her back home, or get Beldam to drag her back home. Confusion ensues on how Salem knows the Three Shadows, but Vivian hardly heard about Salem. Despite her kind nature, the lanky siren pleads to not hurt her plants and leave. A choice prompt will show up >Okay, we’ll get going. >Where is your home? If pestered enough about where Salem used to live she will get upset with you, and dim the lights. When you can see again and Salem is gone. Picking the first option will just make this go quicker. There is a note on the ground that tells you that she has a garden to tend to in Keelhaul Key. And no, you can’t actually hurt the pretty flowers Salem planted, that would just be rude. :( As you progress through the game new garden locations will open up, backtracking, yada yada yada. She sticks around for longer each time you see her, and you learn more about her. There’s a point where a battle is initiated, but Salem doesn’t attack, and after a few turns she flees. If Goombella uses tattle, her stats will be illegible, and not much is known about Salem. Once you have access to the Palace of Shadow…if you have successfully done all of Salem’s encounters, she will send Mario an email to meet her at her favorite place in the world: Shrinking Violet Summit. (There’s a new pipe that opens up that will lead you directly to the place, and it’s not very big either. This is more just to see how beautiful the place is and set up something important. This time you won’t need Vivian to have Salem appear in the room she’s in, she will be there waiting for you to talk to her. And if you do, she will thank Mario (and Vivian) for helping her gather the courage to open up. She’s aware that you opened the Palace of Shadow, and decides to tell you everything. The Mother she keeps talking about, is in fact the Shadow Queen. A long time ago, the demon decided she wanted to raise an heir to inherit her power and rule the world in case anything bad happened to her. That’s how Salem was born. In truth, she is over 1000 years old, and was there to witness the Shadow Queen sink the ancient Rogueport and create the Crystal Stars.  She did not however, witness the four heroes defeat her mother and seal her away. For the longest time, being the Shadow Queen’s daughter did not feel right. She was created to help drown the world in darkness…but she saw the light, the beauty of Earth. Salem decided enough was enough….and ran away from the demon. The Shadow Queen let her live…Salem does not know why. (It is revealed when you face SQ there is further context that she wanted Salem to orchestrate her return to prove that letting her live despite her traitorous actions was the right decision, not Beldam.)

Salem has known Beldam for a long time, and feared her loyalty to her mother. But she wasn’t aware that Marilyn and Vivian were created. She lived in fear of Beldam finding her and dragging her back to the Palace.

The partner Mario brought out will ask if Salem will come with them to confront the Shadow Queen. But….despite everything, she says she can’t. Salem is afraid to fight. But, she won’t leave you empty handed, and will give you a Jelly Ultra as a sendoff gift to help with their fight with her mother. (Which fun fact, that would be the only one you can get for free without needing to make a recipe! So she gives you something really valuable for all the trouble!)

The even cooler part is, she has one last email to send after Mario defeats the Shadow Queen. She asks him to meet her at Shrinking Violet Summit again, and with a newfound determination…Salem learns that she needs to stand up for herself. She will forever live with the regret of not facing the Shadow Queen herself…but she will try her best to make things right. She asks Mario if he would like to fight her, and reveals that she’s pretty tough. People used to fear her…instead of her fearing everything.

Waboom! Surprise she’s a superboss! You’re basically facing a Shadow Queen EX, with some differences in Salem’s attacks. But if you can defeat her, she will become recruitable as a post game partner!!

I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’m gonna have to make a part 3…this was even longer than my last post about Salem SOBBB

But this next part will be about what she’s like as a partner, and finally addressing her likes, dislikes, personality, etc.

You and the band were on the tour bus about to go to an interview after a few minutes you guys got to the station and went inside got everything set up it was the interviewer lady she was blond, big boobs really trying to show off for someone probably tom so you just had to roll ur eye when you saw so then bill sat and then tom in the middle and then you at then georg and Gustav couldn't come since they were busy Georg seeing his Girlfriend and family Gustav seeing his family also. The live tv thing started and so the lady started talking.

A - Hello everybody! today we have the band tokio hotel! How are you guys?

The people in the crowd screamed and cheered

B - were good

After a few minutes of getting to know each other and settling down and stuff asking questions like "why did the band start" "when it started" blah blah blah. And then she started asking more personal I guess questions?

A - "Okay umm a few more and then the fans will ask okay, first tom is it true just on the first night you had 4 girls in your room?"

Tom looks down kind of sad you noticed and put your hand on his back whispering to him

Y - "hey Tom it will be over soon I promise and then we can go get you a new hat yeah? And some strawberries?"

Tom nodded his head at you the interviewer looked a bit jealous so she fixed her top so her boobs were like spilling out of her Tom you just looked away holding in a giggle you took at deep breath and looked back at the interviewer with a "🤨" look but she ignored you just asking the boys questions making them clearly uncomfortable. You wanted to butt in so bad but didn't want to make a scene so when she was talking to bill you tapped Tom on the shoulder handing him a slip of paper "this lady is annoying smh and she's clearly into you, I actually want to throw water on her bruh".

Tom let out a chuckle messing with his lip piercing and looking to you while nodding his head and passing bill the note.

After a while the interview was over and all 3 of you walked out laughing ur asses off at the note because you all added something to it somehow not getting caught just clowning on the lady trying to get the boys attention especially tom. Suddenly you hear a door open and fast footsteps and tom feels someone grab his shoulder all 3 of you turned around with a "huh" it was the interviewer

A - "tom wait! I was um wondering.. Maybe you would like to-"

Tom cut her off clearly not interested you were a little surprised since he would have usually jumped at the chance to hook up with a blondy with big boobs

T - "no I'm really sorry but i already have my eyes on someone"

You and bill looked at him with a shocked and confused look you guys knew he was gonna turn her down but didn't know he had his eyes on someone already??

A - "O-oh I understand"

She said that and walked away her head hung low

Y + B - "TOM YOU LIKE SOMEONE?!"

T - "yeah? I've liked her since we were little I'm surprised you guys didn't know, now can we please go to the store y/n promised me a new hat and I want her to keep that promise!"

Y - "I forgot I promised that, okay whatever let's go"

B - "we should get food after I'm getting pretty hungry"

Y - "yeah me too"

T - "yeah"

You guys all went to the store getting Tom his hat, you got a necklace or something, and bill got a belt and after that you guys went out to eat and after that you guys went back to the hotel you guys were staying in.

Bill had gone to sleep and you were standing on the balcony the wind blowing in ur hair the sunset lighting up ur eyes ur skiing glowing you looked stunning.. Tom came out and stood behind you holding ur waist resting his chin on your shoulder leaning his head in the crook of ur neck

T - "what is a pretty lady like ur self doing all alone out here"

Y - "Tom what are you doing goofy?"

T - "you know how I said I liked someone for a while now? Well.. I thought I might tell you who it is if you haven't figured it out by now"

You had a pretty good guess but you wanted him to say it from his own 2 lips

Y - "are you gonna tell me silly?"

T - "okay maybe it's a little silly but I think ill show you instead"

With that he spins you around to look at him pulling you in closer by ur waist and leaning his head down to kiss you softly and passionately in the sunset full of love everything was just perfect..

Yoonmin and their special hats

I don’t put a lot of emphasis on matching items, particularly if those items are worn for photo shoots, concerts, or other times when stylists are involved. However, there are two matching-items moments that I do see as significant.

One example is yoonmin’s set of matching plaid shirts which they wore when they went live with Jin. And the other? Their special hats!!!!

They have worn these hats at the same time…

…and separately:

They clearly associate the hats with one another. Yoongi once referred to them as “the hats Jimin and I often wear.”

Perhaps most importantly, Jin (and then Hobi) referred to them as couple hats, according to papago and google and @/syubjim. The official subs translated it as “matching caps.”

As soon as Jin pointed this out, Jimin smiled and walked over to stand next to Yoongi:

Yoongi explained that Jimin “got what I was buying.” In other words, Yoongi wanted to buy the hat, Jimin bought the hat, and Yoongi still went ahead and got the hat. (Below, you can see the word in parentheses near Yoongi is translated as “cold,” but “cool” or “calm” is an alternate translation.)

Despite this conversation, they both continued to wear the hat for the rest of the rehearsal, so if this was an accident or they didn’t enjoy matching, I assume one or both of them would have removed their hats.

Jimin most recently wore the hat in 2023 at the airport on his way to Japan to film the travel show, while he was there, and at the airport on the way home.

What do matching items mean? And what do they mean once the guys know people view these matching items as significant, yet they keep wearing them? 🤔
