For those about to rock, we salute you!

Let's rock 'n' roll the Top Gun way! Choose an '80s rock song (or pop or country or rap...), and write a fic about one or more of our favorite Top Gun characters! Just make sure the songs are from Rooster's favorite decade, the 1980s!

it's basically just chuuya taking care of a very drunk dazai with lots of fluffy and domestic soukoku moments

it's very fluffy that i cringed sometimes like omg i wrote THIS????

chuuya is trying to catch his cheating boyfriend on action so he follows him to a restaurant but he ends up reviewing the food with a stranger (spoiler alert: yes, dazai is the stranger)

i wanted to make a no power au for a while and now i finally did it yay!

in a world of boys she's a gentleman

a childhood friends to lovers skk fic where chuuya is basically the woman of my dream while dazai is being an embarrassment that even i got a second-hand embarrassment while writing

this was inspired by a taylor swift song and idk why i shot them with the yuri beam it just seems right

damn, a commuter line has a matchmaking function too now?

basically it's single dad chuuya and dazai being absolutely head over heels for him (+ his daughter) since the very first time he looked at him hashtag relatable

this story is my first fic written in mostly dazai's pov and ngl i think i might write a lot more because i love being whipped for chuuya it's fun

chuuya and dazai actually having a serious heart-to-heart conversation and being honest to one another. they have a fun dynamic here despite their... unique first meet. they were a pining MESS but they sorted everything out at the end

contrary with the title, this is probably the silliest fic i wrote so far they're so stupid smh and this is like the combination of fic i wanna write, college au and (silly) marriage proposal

What is Rarepair Month?

From May 1-27, this event is dedicated not only to unpopular and rarer type of ships, but to any rare pair platonic/romantic!

As doing daily challenges may not possible for some, I am including weekly challenges!

Each week has a theme, and you can use that however you want to! You can replace a day’s theme with a weekly theme, write one fic per weekly theme each week, center a theme around the challenges, anything you want! How you complete this challenge is up to you!

If you don't mind me asking, why aren't you on twitter?

many reasons! but primarily because twitter (at least bts fandom twitter) is rather toxic. i don't like that you can't say you didn't like X song by bts without people mobbing you and treating you like you spat on bts or something. or if you jokingly (and with love) call a member a whore, you'll get harassed as well. people are also always policing what kind of content you like or who you're friends with etc. and i find that incredibly draining. plus, i think everyone is allowed to read, write, create any kind of content they'd like. it's fictional and you are responsible for your own safety online. basically, fandom is always looking for a reason to harass others because they're bullies.

beyond that, there's a lot of drama (most of the time it's rehashed bs i've seen 100 times already) and weird platitudes you have to give people and i'm too old for all of that. i've been harassed a shit ton, had people hate follow me, get mad at me because i blocked them as if blocking people is a crime and i'm not allowed to curate what i see on my feed etc etc. a lot of the harassment i've faced in fandom has been on twitter so i have a lot of bad memories as well.

i also don't like the pressure fandom puts on fic writers to essentially market their fic on twitter nor do i like how twitter cultivates a culture where you (the fic writer) are always comparing yourself to others. a lot of people end up feeling really bad about not writing enough or as much or as quickly as their peers and also for not getting as much engagement as their peers. it's really tiresome to me and now it's like you gotta post a moodboard, you gotta put in all the right hashtags, you gotta post snippets etc etc so that ppl stay engaged with your content and therefore will read your fic.

it does suck not having a public twitter because i miss making new friends and meeting people but i think the cons outweigh the pros for me unfortunately.

Although she wants to help, she doesn’t have a lot of free time so she gets her older sister Y/N to take over tutoring every now and then, unaware that Eddie’s been crushing on her since they were freshmen. (I’m thinking super nervous like can’t talk at all type Eddie hehe)

Dustin shows Eddie his creation, cerebro, and talks to his sister that lives in another state with it. Eddie doesn’t even know what this girl looks like but he’s fallen for her already. Eddie decides to go to Lucas’ house after he stopped showing up at Hellfire club, unaware that he would meet Lucas’ older sister and immediately fall for her. She’s super friendly and bubbly making Eddie completely forget the reason he was there and instead just focus on her.

Y/N and Johnathan started a photography club. Y/N goes into the woods to take some nature pics and finds Eddie there. He’s his usual self and says “let me be your muse” and poses dramatically. He’s surprised when Y/N laughs and actually starts taking pictures of him.

When Y/N’s car breaks down and her and Max can’t get to school, their neighbour across the street, Eddie, offers to take them whilst Wayne fixes their car. They end up doing car shares a lot and getting to know each other, much to the annoyance of Max.

El asks her older sister Y/N to help Hopper come around to Mike and her dating. Y/N’s solution to this? Get Eddie to pretend to be her boyfriend and act way worse than Mike. What starts as a joke, ends up being something very real.

Popular golden boy Steve Harrington has a twin sister who’s the complete opposite of him. Sure they were both attractive, but Y/N was quiet and kept to herself. She seemed to enjoy her own company more than anyone else’s. When Steve starts getting worried about her, he asks Eddie to get to know her in the hopes that his crazy personality would help her come out of her shell. What he wasn’t ready for was for them to start dating.

Eddie drops by Family Video to chat with Steve and Robin when Robin’s sister walks in. Something about her makes Eddie’s legs feel like jelly. He’s absolutely smitten. Something that Steve and especially Robin will tease him about mercilessly as soon as Y/N leaves.

When Eddie gets a glimpse of Chrissy’s older sister dropping her off at school, he absolutely has to talk to her. Being on good terms with their cheerleader, he asks about her. N-L-Threenager Blogiversary Writing Challenge

I can’t believe this blog - that I set up with 0 intentions of ever actually using - is now 3 years old. Where has the time gone? My baby is all grown up :( In three years this little blog with its filthy and morally questionable stories has gathered nearly 8.5K followers and made me some of the best friendships I’ll cherish for the rest of my life.

As I very well know (having a real baby only a month older than this blog) three year olds are no joke. The term “Threenager” really doesn’t come from nowhere. Which got me thinking about my celebration…

What are teenagers? Moody, irritable, angsty. Yes, that’s right, this challenge is all about breaking my heart, making me mad, making me wanna throw something across the room (Maybe not my child or laptop, though).

Below the cut is more info, including a way for reader's to celebrate too!

Below I have listed some of my favourite angsty lyrics, and I’d love for you guys to create a story (2K per part/chapter limit - no chapter limit) inspired by a lyric of your choosing. The deadline will be 17th Feb, 2023 (the day before my blog’s fourth birthday). You can write for any of the characters/actors I write for myself. Not sure if the one you pick is acceptable? Just hit me up.

Dark is fine! The only things I don’t read are: pregnancy/pregnancy related smut, underage (incl age play), snuff, toilet stuff and beastiality (play included), otherwise run wild. If you do write any of the stuff listed, I won’t read, but I’ll still reblog.

hey cyrus, i am a big fan of your artworks and i just have to tell you about how much i love them im sorry pls bear with me.

I absolutely admire your writing style. It's constantly unpredictable, captivating, and invigorating. Since that's really more to my taste, I especially enjoy your fiction when the main character—the ID0L—is the centre of the story, rather than the reader. I appreciate how you adhere to the hashtags you use. I'm always pleased by you, as are probably many other readers.

My favourite work of yours is "night at the bar" (if im not mistaken). I adore how you portrayed Felix in that fanfiction, and I adore, adore, adore the character of the "reader." It's interesting to see the reader in the role of the villain once. I don't know why, but I really enjoy the vibes in the moment where the reader pulls a random guy close to them for a kiss as Felix approaches them it's so JQGDHWGAHAGAI WANNA KISS FELIX BUT IK SCARED RI FALL IN LOVE BUT I WANT HIM I WANT HIM TO BE MINE.

That specific fic of yours reminded me a lot of cigarettes after sex's songs. it's enticing and exciting at first but suddenly those feelings turned into remorse and bewilderment. but as both parties be completely transparent with each other, they started to learn to love and cherish each other. I love it i love i love it so much.

I'm so glad you enjoy them! Comparing 'night at the bar' to cigarettes after sex's songs-honestly i love that so much, and that was totally the type of vibe i was going for while i was writing it

I find that in a lot of fics (not all, there are plenty of other amazing writer's that do this) the reader is very sure of themselves, very confident and always kinda knows what to do and how to react. I find this unrealistic in a lot of ways and portraying the reader in the light of making the mistakes/in the villain role is something that just feels more authentic if that makes any sense

I am writing more, i have a few half-made fics and ideas that i'm getting through rn, i'll try to get them out as soon as i can-and i really hope that you'll enjoy them :)

She walked down a few more steps in the auditorium and found a spot. It was one of the few seats left in the room that wasn’t all the way up in the back. She sat down and settled into the uncomfortable, hard, plastic chair and took a deep shaky breath. The prof was nowhere to be seen. But there was a cute boy in the seat next to her. He had sort of long brown hair that was covered with a grey toque. And he was wearing a cut off t-shirt and you could see his very nice arms. Julie’s breathing was still shaky, and his attractiveness wasn’t helping the situation.
