it is so STARKLY different from the rest of the phouse like it has fuzzy padded brown walls?? like they have a reason for every design choice in the phouse so why did they go with fuzzy brown walls in here and here only (it seems)??/?

#only semi-explanations i can think of are:#1. it isn't their house and it just so happens that they took multiple photos that they then posted in the same non-phouse location #(likely family's house if this is the case cause when else would they be this relaxed at someone else's house/whatever other place lol)#2. this is one of the “secret safe rooms” dan alluded to in.. #First one is THE LONG series of GEESE that fly by!!! my aforementioned friends... Or I think I referenced them in tags of some post #days ago. and how I love watching them. See how many there are? And multiple of these will go by. It's like hundreds of them.#Then just the sky because I love the sky. My hair looking ridiculous as it always does when I brush it out of the four big braids I always #keep it in to keep it out of the way lol. I just find it silly how small it can be all braided up and then as soon as it is Released and #combed then it poofs into some sort of swamp dwelling wizard style.#Then... a daily word count... have been so busy the past week that I sadly haven't written much but I'm WORKING on it. Still on the blasted #'odd jobs' tasks sections which were SUPPOSED to be very quick and short. but.. alas.. Though I am on basically the last one. You go work #for one of the enchanting specialists in the city (very important in society since a majority of people cannot do that type of magic) and #basically he just works so much he has no time for a social life so he hires random people to sit with him in the afternoons doing menial #tasks. You show up thinking you'll help with some Important Job or something but hes just like 'no... peel this apple for me.. :)' lol #Edit note: arrgh just had to fish a slippery avocado pit out of a narrow garbage disposal drain with a chopstick. felt like some #sort of taskmaster challenge or something.. gods... I know some people just reach into them. I guess maybe #my hand would fit?? but... erm... scary. what about Sharp Things in there or something.. also Sludge of some sort perhaps.#ANWYAY.. interruption... I got up to go to the kitchen in the middle of typing my tags... lol..#Next image is SLEEPING boye.. And then PIGEONS!!!!!!!!!! my beloveds...#Oh then the giant evil hole in my bathroom ceiling which is STILL not fixed and the repair people still have to come back again.. BUT they #did have this terrible industrial dehumidifier thing they put in the bathroom and just left here for like 5 days and it was like a noisy #hairdryer going at all times and raised the heat in the bathroom from 65F to 76F in like two hours so.. I'm glad at least at their #last arrival they've finally taken it away.... the Noise Beast... silence in my house at last...#though I am still plagued by Mysterious Hole.. the plastic wrap rustles sometimes when I'm in there.... go away...#Ah. Then a delightful little lemon poppyseed muffin someone didn't want and then gave to me. Which was interesting since I haven't #had one in soooo long even though its like a very Classic Flavor.. I do quite like them though now that I've had one again. :0c #Lastly.. mushrooms. I think it's the mushroom season here. Everywhere you go outside there's some new manner of fungus #having popped up from nowhere. I like the variety of all their little shapes. These in particular have an interesting wispy curled layers #sort of look to them. Almost like a shaggy hairstyle that's curled up at the ends or something. They seem neat to draw perhaps.#Okay.. that is all.. I still have literally like 2 costumes and 12 outfits and I think 1 sculpture? to post.. but I am so busy this is #what I can manage for now I suppose lol... quick pictures that don't really take any sorting or cropping or editing lol #photo diary

Victoria: Oh, my Watcher. For you? No bother at all. I’m honored, Your Royal Highness.

Bria: You know Bria is fine, girl! You know most of the peanut gallery, except the bride’s mom - Grand Countess Esther.

Esther: Nice to meet you!

Bria: And, of course, the bride - Countess Olivia. Olivia, meet one of my favorite designers - Victoria Becksim!

Olivia: It’s so nice to meet you. Thank you so much for your help!

Victoria: Of course, darling. I’m happy to help. Let’s get started, shall we?

Bria: Are you burting with excitement as much as I am or is that just me?

Esther: I’m trying my absolute best not to cry.

Victoria: Alright, so I took everyone’s notes and here’s one of the designs we came up with. I believe it was you, Esther, that would love to see Olivia in something classic and traditional. So, tell me what you think.

Esther: Oh, I love it! It’s so elegant!

Bria: Uh... you don’t think it’s a little too elegant? Even the Watcher would show more skin than this.

Esther: Oh, I think it’s perfect. What do you think, Olivia?

Olivia: Uh... it’s nice, but I don’t think I’m in love with it.

Victoria: Alright, on to the next then one, love.

Victoria: Okay, this one was from Bria’s notes which were to have embellishments, make it a little sexy, and of course, have flair!

Bria: Okay! Don’t hurt ‘em, Liv! This is what we wanna see!

Esther: Uh.. I think that we’re seeing a little too much!

Ella: It’s certainly hard to miss.

Rose: You look like a princess, Olivia!

Olivia: Thank you. I don’t quite think this one’s my style, although it is beautiful.

Victoria: Alright, time for the one I’ve been most excited to show. This is from Olivia’s notes. Let’s try this one.

Victoria: Funnily enough, Miss Olivia actually had a best of both worlds moment. In her notes, she wanted something classic like Esther wanted yet with a flair that made her feel pretty, yet sexy like Bria wanted. And, here’s what we came up with.

Bria: Yep, here comes the waterworks. I think... I think this one’s it.

Esther tearful: Olivia, honey. You look absolutely beautiful.

Victoria: Now those are reactions we like. And the bride?

i know i wouldn't have this attitude if post-2017 doctor who had simply been good but i increasingly feel like it would've been kinder to the show's legacy to just take the opportunity to end it on the note twice upon a time sets up and lay it to rest for a while than to let it keep going as this ghost of itself that it is right now

#blahs #dw #(i acknowledge that twice wouldn't even exist if not for being written as a stop gap to give chibs more time but walk with me here)#people say it all the time but the end of the capaldi era really was such a great ending #it's amazing how well it manages to succeed at being the culmination of 12 years of tv spearheaded by two separate lead writers #it felt and still feels like the story of the who revival up to that point was finished #and whatever we've been getting ever since has frankly very little to do with it #and i hate to say that bc i truly adore ncuti in the part and i want him to get worthy material so badly #but the reason i'm even doctor who doomposting is streets are saying he might be leaving after next series anyway. so lol #all this being said i continue to hope series 15 is good despite it all. at least then he'd leave on a high

Job hunting has got to be one of my least favorite parts of being alive

#for those of you following the $12 raise saga #I got it and enjoyed for 3 weeks #and then the one project supporting my company through this hell of a spring #ran into funding issues and cut us out #not currently technically jobless but I don't have any work to do #and I am not one to sit around hoping things sort themselves out #SO! we hunt the elusive job beast #but since I've already held the position I'm vying for now #I'm hopeful that my sweet sweet paycheck will be relatively unmarred #once I'm working again #until then *screams*#oh also I'm moving in February lol #maybe it's better than I'm not working right now so I can focus on that #but I tell you what #my anxiety has rarely been worse #don't mind me

I recently decided to semi revive some of my crusty dusty splatoon ocs from when I was like 12, so here’s all of the goobers! Meet Cherry (she/her), Slosh (he/they), Egg (they/them), and Blast (she/they)

I am never drawing splatoon weapons again! holy shit that fucking sucked!#on the bright side I got to mess around a bit with some hair style concepts I’ve been rotating in my head #also I’m still working on giving these guys an updated story but my basic idea is that they’re a professional tower control team that has #been facing some conflicts as of late due to them all getting old enough to start having aspirations outside of their team #cherry is from the domes but her parents left with her when she was around 10 #blast went to the same school as her and the two became pretty close friends as selective mute buddies #then at some point cherry caught wind of this cool new sport called tower control and was like woahhh I wanna do that #so she just went up to the first person near the battle lobby she could find and was like hey how do I join?#and he got super excited since he has a reputation for being incapable of shutting up so someone willing coming up to him came as a shock #they showed her where to get weapons and how to join battles and the two became battle buddies real quick #this lead to blast getting super worried and anxious as she didn’t want to see her only friend get hurt or stolen from her #at which point cherry was like oh I know! why don’t you come battle with us?#and blast was like wait wait wait no what if I die and dont come back and then die again :[#they managed to come to a compromise for a while tho and eventually blast was able to just barely squish past her fear enough to start #being kind of interested in tower control as she had started watching the other two play #and while she was still anxious abt the idea eventually she sheepishly admitted she wanted to give it a try #and she ended up really liking it! so the three kept playing together #and eventually they started to feel more and more like an actual team and egg noticed #they had been scouting a team to join for a lil while now and after getting to play with the three quite a few times and getting on friendly #terms with them they were like hey what if we became like an actual team who do tournaments and stuff
