i love redemption arc's. so i had this idea, where harumi is doing community service and lloyd pops up for a brief tea ✨
also i was so excited to draw harumi's hair - a combination of the "good" and the "villain" one.
oh, i'm also sorry for any mistakes in the text, i checked that multiple times, it should be alright, but you never know

I have a small AU where on the Day of the Departed some souls are able to go down to Ninjago to see their loved ones.
(Such as souls who have recently died, souls who are remembered, or souls who are trusted enough to go down (when a dangerous soul is one of the first two they either are not allowed to go down or must travel down with a ‘Guardian’ such as Garmadon with Morro (yes this is a Morro AU are you actually surprised)))
So imagine how Cole feels when years down the pipe line something triggers his previous ghostly-ness (maybe evil Garms resurrection) and he sees Morro and Garmadon bickering near a Lloyd, Cryptor making fun of Zane and Pixal, Dr Julien admiring all the changes that has occurred, his mom admiring how big he’s gotten, and the damn First spinjitzu master snorting at Wu and (evil) Garmadon bickering.
No Kai he’s not hallucinating Harumi’s birth parents and adopted parents hovering over her what the hell.
Imagine how baffled he would be when he sees some random blonde woman and a guy who looks way too familiar babying a Jay who has no idea why Cole both looks traumatised and amused when looking at him.

I absolutely hate that the “redemption arc” they gave harumi in crystalized because in reality it was just another poor excuse to give a character aka Lloyd a love interest even though it wasn’t needed.
First of all, it wasn’t even a proper redemption arc! She didn’t see the errors in her ways or all the wrong she had done. Nope. None of that. Instead she realized the personification of pure evil she was working with was actually involved in everything that led to her parents death. So she just decided to change up her sides and get revenge on someone else. She showed no other reason other than that. And even if she maybe showed even the slightest amount of sympathy it clearly still wasn’t enough to affect her evil actions to stop at all. If they wanted to give her a redemption arc, they should’ve started showing atleast something more a lot earlier. Not literally on the last episode. That just didn’t give enough time to truly get over everything she did and show that she did in fact change. In simple terms, it was too little too late.
Second of all, they didn’t even try to hide that it was just a chance to make Harumi a love interest for Lloyd. They focused so much on that in the season instead of actually character growth and progress. They literally had to brush over all the stuff that Lloyd through in order to get them together. Lloyd forgave her way too quickly. She hadn’t actually shown any progress or anything that could indicate she could be trusted other than in the final battle. And Lloyd isn’t stupid and also probably had trust issues. We all saw how he wouldn’t forgive Garmadon (still rightfully so. I’m not saying he had to) who had show real growth no matter how much he tried. But on Harumi it took her like few minutes! And the best explanation they had was that he was in love with her which is just wrong. Lloyd isn’t stupid and Harumi betrayed them before. He had gone through this entire phase of how he was too forgiving and couldn’t see how Harumi for what she really was during the end of season 8 and during season 9. No matter how deeply in love he was and how much he was dealing with complex feeling he wouldn’t be able to let it go. This would most likely take a long time and a lot of struggling for him.
Thus the writing for this was just really poor and it wasn’t as well done as it should have been.

Okay, so I've seen a lot of posts on the "should Morro have stayed dead or should he have been given a redemption arc" and all that and I just kind of wanted to share my thoughts on the topic. I don't think his canon ending is bad, in fact there's a lot I like about it. It's a tragedy and a very good one at that. The way it ends with him and Wu, and with the whole "you can only save those who wish to be saved" quote? That's poignant, that has narrative weight. I think to say that it's bad is to ignore a lot of what makes Morro a good character. He's a reflection of Wu as a teacher, his teachings, and he's a foil to Kai specifically. He shows us why Wu works better now, and why he teaches the way he does. A large component of what makes his story have depth isn't just that he died young and was traumatized it's that he continued a cycle of trauma on with Lloyd (and Cole, if you considered that he dies indirectly due to Morro's actions but that's another topic). He's a bad person, he did really bad things, that's part of who he is. But, I think it's a misstep to call him irredeemable. I think that misses the point of his character entirely actually, like severely. Morro isn't irredeemable, he shows that he's capable of growth in the very scene he dies in! That's part of the tragedy too! It's not a 'hot-take' to miss the point of a character because it's the cool fandom opinion of the month actually. I know people are frustrated at the fandom misogyny in how people talk about Morro vs. Harumi and I agree, it is frustrating, but y'all are just spreading around just plain bad takes and that's getting frustrating.
On the topic of missteps, as much as I do like it, I also think it was a misstep in how DOTD handled Morro. In general DOTD has some interesting ideas and concepts but is overall flat and under-cooked. Morro's part in it isn't excluded from that. DOTD brings him back, it shows that he is extremely capable of change and growth, and understanding (which is something you guys like to ignore too, actually). Then, it has him just leave again, die and I understand why but I think it's very genuinely sad in a way I don't think was intended, or well done. I think it backtracks on the narrative weight his conclusion in Possessed had. Possessions' ending for him is sad but it has depth and weight. DOTD just brings him back for fan service, and again, just has him die, and it's because he wants to. I understand they were going for a "at peace" kind of approach with him but it just falls flat in my opinion. If they were going to bring him back, and I know this is kind of a debated topic, I think they should've just kept him. And everyone who says that he wouldn't be capable of change for that is dead-wrong, the show proves it, and just because you don't like it doesn't make it bad. In terms of how it's handled in fanon, I think it's a mixed bag. Some people do it really well, faithful to his character but other times I think he just gets hit with the fanonization beam really hard. Sometimes you see his woobification of him based on the trauma and death he went through, and that erases what makes him and any sort of possible redemption or relationships with him interesting. I think people tend to miss the idea that a redemption is both not something a character has to 'deserve' (because redemption doesn't equal forgiveness) and also something a character has to work towards. The idea a redemption has to be deserved (as a moral concept not a narrative concept), instead of something worked towards by the character presents in people downplaying his actions and effects, but also in people acting like redemption is inherently reductive to his character because he's bad guys, he's a bad guy guys. Bad guys don't deserve redemption guys (/sarcastic). To be entirely real, I do think redemption can and does have a place in his writing. You can't look at how he acted at the end of possession and DOTD and tell me otherwise. Redemption in fiction at the end of the day is a narrative device and trope, and how a character is written informs their development. Additionally, I think some of you guys take his "you can only save those who want to be saved" way way too literally. That, too, is tragic and it's not because it's right. When characters speak, nine times out of ten, you're not supposed to baselessly accept and internalize what they say as correct and true. Was it true when Cole said he wasn't a ninja after dying in the same season? Was it true when Kai said he deserves to be the green ninja, just because he said it? Come on. Also, just, I think sometimes this fandom needs to accept different people find different things appealing and cathartic. It's okay to prefer a tragedy, but it's also okay to prefer the idea of him redeeming himself (because it takes work) and healing. There's this whole argument about whether or not saying he should've gotten a redemption arc (kind of a stupid question to begin with, in my opinion) but at the end of the day, it's already done. Also, both ends of the spectrum can have the most frustrating takes on him, and yeah I'm going to be annoyed and salty about it if you couldn't already tell. Anyways, there's no proper point to this because it's really just be ranting about several things I find really frustrating about how people handle this topic, so take it as you will. You can disagree, but I'm not saying his ending is bad nor that his tragedy is bad. In fact if you disagree I encourage that this fandom is way too prone to just parroting each others (mostly bigger blogs) opinions and not their own personal ones, so yeah.

Harumi WANTED lloyd. Just wanted him evil.
And i mean lloyd had every right to be evil, DESERVED to be evil. Especially BECAUSE of harumi. You know how hot of an evil couple they would be???
Master of darkness and light, hero turned morally gray, Lloyd Garmadon with his princess of evil, Harumi Jade, at his side???
Or even if she turned good?? Redemption arc llorumi.

i hope Morro doesn't come back less because I hate him and more because his story is done. he died, he accepted his fate, he helped save the world in the end. he doesn't need to be revived because his purpose for the story has already been served. let him rest for gods sakes
I think the whole “I hope Morro doesn’t back back <3” hate is crazy considering that if someone else’s favorite character was coming back to Ninjago or rumored to be I would 100% support that person who’s excited about their favorite character

My honest opinion of the story expansion (all the good and the bad)
Tumblr media
Hi everyone, remember that this is just a personal opinion and it doesn't mean that everyone should have the same opinion.
-I love Cyrax's maturity and his redemption SHE IS SO CUTE 💕.
-One of the things I didn't like was that Cyrax and Kuai Liang were ex-couples, because in the story there was not a single dialogue that touched on that subject, only that they have known each other for years, it is not even mentioned that they were close, if it were not for the dialogues, the fact that Kuai Liang would have killed her if it were not for Harumi who stopped him. They had the whole story to be able to explain it and not even at the end we are given a hint of their past. It literally seems like a poorly made ship by Dominic for nothing more than doing it.
-Something I liked were the faces of my babies
-They changed the sex of Sektor and Cyrax just to ship them with the brothers, Honestly I felt that way, everything was very forced.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
-If there's one thing I can't forgive is that Tomas didn't have a single chapter of the story and it appeared only at the beginning, when there could be so many possibilities that he would have a chapter with the theme of the multiverse, or having accompanied Kuai Liang. Also, wasn't he holding back Bi Han and Sektor? They're wasting a character that has potential.
Tumblr media
-About Bihan and Sektor, the truth is that I have mixed feelings about this ship. As Kenshi says, they are made for each other. The bad thing about this is that both of them increase their ambition, deep down they cannot redeem themselves. I find it nice how Sektor loves Bihan despite everything that happened, since she is the only person who stayed by his side.
-Tanya and Rain were a really cute couple but they kill rain already ( one of the few couples that I like)
Tumblr media
-And this is something UNFORGIVABLE ABOUT BI HAN NOT HAVING BEEN REDEEMED, I mean, they had everything for him to have his redemption arc, however, when he became Noob Saibot they showed him as egocentric as never before and immature. You don't know how angry it made me. The only hope it gave me was that he stayed in the temple of the Elementis, but Sektor took him out, and Bi han asked to stay as he was. Even though his mind remained intact, I still think that something different remained in him.
-And not to mention the final battle against Havick, he was defeated by Bi Han and then Geras froze him, I felt like everything ended suddenly. I thought there was going to be a final battle,This expansion was very short
-Honestly, as always, I loved Liu Kang throughout the story, after everything Bi Han did to him, he still wanted to help him.
-In the end Bi has remained as before but being Noob Saibot
-The story was really weak and quite predictable.
Mi conclusion final;
Dominic had every opportunity to make a good story but he ruined it, he had good characters, good origins, he knew what the fans wanted but it seemed like he didn't care, you don't know how angry it makes me

Hold up, hold up, Akita is just Harumi, but better.
Girl who wants revenge on the ninja because of a childhood incident where they killed her family. If indeed they did want her to take a full evil turn it would 100% make sense, and every single person in the audience would sympathize, unlike Harumi's convoluted mess of a backstory.
She meets Lloyd under false pretenses, and while they seem to have some fun chemistry at first, there's a betrayal which changes the dynamic and proves they're on opposite sides. But this time, the switch in character feels real and leaves you with a better understanding of the character, not a blank slate you have no insight into because everything before was a lie.
There's some romantic vibes happening between both these pairings, but Harumi's is all based on a false version of herself and is this horribly forced love at first sight plot, while Akita is definitely a slow burn, and whatever feelings are there, you can be certain are genuine, because they're both themselves the whole time.
If they had leaned into the Akita villain arc more, even her redemption would be better. I'm almost certain. Because her evil streak to begin with is already starting from a much more understandable position, making the redemption that much more believable.
Akita is just so good you guys-

You know what? I was tripping this whole time...
Bi-Han won't be restored as Sub-Zero, the Sub-Zero we currently have in the game is already Bi-Han restored as Sub-Zero!
No, I didn't lose my mind.
Like, I think everybody knows that intros are written based on the events of the story mode (and endings) and the endings are based on the characters' bios. And believe it or not, the Sub-Zero that is in the game is already a Bi-Han restored as Sub-Zero and we just need to interpret some intros already available in the right way to realize it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kuai Liang is set to marry Harumi at the beginning of the story mode expansion, but the wedding is interrupted by Bi-Han's attack. At the end of the datamined script, Kuai Liang makes a mysterious invitation to Cyrax, some people assume it is to his wedding since the first ceremony could not be completed (and I think so too, although there are many clues that she will join the Shirai Ryu eventually).
So yes, there are intros related to the story mode expansion already available in the game.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Well, contrary to what Raiden and Kuai Liang say, Liu Kang doesn't care about Bi-Han's ambition. He doesn't condemn him for it. He condemns only the bad things that Bi-Han has been doing in desperate attempts to achieve what he wants for the clan.
However, he intends to punish the Lin Kuei for the attack on Kuai Liang's wedding, and as I said in another post, I really don't believe he will be able to punish them. Sektor won't allow that. So, to me, it makes sense that even after Bi-Han is restored and returns to his position as Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei, he will continue to try to punish them.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Okay, Bi-Han knowing about the Temple of the Elements based solely on the currently available story mode and not considering the expansion makes no sense. Bi-Han will only know about the Temple of the Elements and the Kamidogus locked there during the expansion.
The same goes for Johnny, this intro only makes sense because eventually, after the story mode expansion, he will meet Noob Saibot. And after that, meeting Bi-Han Sub-Zero again, he would obviously joke about the situation.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
These intros are not here by coincidence and they all reference events from the story mode expansion. So yes, Bi-Han's haters can stop looking for a replacement for him because he will continue to be Sub-Zero. And as I've been saying since this game was released, Bi-Han is not evil, he's basically a neutral/morally grey character. His "redemption arc" will simply show that he can do good for Earthrealm and still protect the Lin Kuei's interests. He doesn't need to be a genuine good boy to do that.
Tumblr media
Noob Saibot will be a separate entity from Bi-Han and Bi-Han will return to being a human cryomancer and grandmaster of the Lin Kuei.
I'm putting my money on Sektor or Noob Saibot's ending showing this.

I think thunderfang is lord Ras master.
( and he has plans for lord garmadon )
He is clearly powerful, but not quiet as strong as a source dragon. Giving him the Motivation to kill or capture them and to look for allies ( if you are the strongest already, you dont need henchman like raas )
He could have a power connection outside and used it first to give the forbidden 5 their powers. He didnt expect them to get captured so he used the last drops of power to get someone to free them for him, since he didnt have enough left to create another 5.
That is why ras know about the 5 and wanted to free them. While he showed no respect towards them ( HE know that his master was looking out for him and was their master as well ).
In season 3 raas could eather be cast aside by thunderfang ( ras furfilled his usefullnis ) or we see thunderfang still help raas and plan for him to have a Position at his side.
The first Idee could lead to a redemption arc for ras, while the second is more interesting to me. Because we would get a bad guy who actually gets loyal followers, since he didnt mistreat his people. Beeing able to built up a competent army, not only out of faceless henchman, but out of previouse villains we already know.
The overlord had constantly only faceless people with a few exeptions ( harumi, garmadon ) who betraid him, because he didnt care about what they wanted.
Having some new kind of villain would be refrashing and force the ninja to expend as well to fight against all those henchman. Increasing the numbers on both sides until the final war.
Season 1 we get ras and the dragon hunters, season 2 cynder and the forbidden 5 and season 3 the leader thunderfang, as bad guys. In later seasons they work all together as the evil army.
Same for the ninja, in season 1 we get the new ninja, season 2 the other elemental masters and in season 3 Maybe morro and garmadon?
Having more ninja against an greater force.
Ps: garmadon has something to do with shatterspin, which is thunderfangs power. and seemed to be kind of posessed in the comics by a greater power, who teached him shatterspin through the wolf clan, which is also connected with thunderfang. So he has to have some relevance to thunderfang plan.
My idea is that garmadon was shortly posessed by the thunderfang throw his dragon blood, ( he lost more and more of his humanity but keept his dragon/oni side ) before the evil blood took over and the overlord had more control of him. Than he was curred where he was in the same place as wu ( to much human to control ). Than he died as was resurrected as nearly full oni, which is also not sutable for the evil dragon.
But the resurrection was not perfect ( garmadon turned good again ) and after a few years his dragon blood acted up again. Now he is like he was before only dragon/oni without humanity and without the overlord interfering. Giving thunderfang the connection back. This would tie all of garmadon history back together and make sence why we never saw shatterspin from garmadon before. His spin reliead on thunderfang and not the Gong, without this connection he couldnt do it again.
Garmadon is supposed to be thunderfang second in comment, before ras. the dragon wanted this because having the fsm son on his side could lead to their combined power killing a source dragon.
We dont know how the source dragon died, only that it was before the merge ( after we saw garmadon last ) and the most likely candidate thunderfang is locked up with raas not beeing powerful enough for something as this. But maybe a posessed by shatterspin powered up garmadon could do it? That is why wu wants to unite the worlds. Alone they have no chance against this but now they can increase their forces and give garmadon time to hide from thunderfang.
This would be awesome and lead to some interesting relationship between ras and garmadon. Ras beeing pissed he gets replaced or garmadon beeing so completly posessed that raas simply sees him as the boss puppet.
Poor lloyd, his dad is back in trouble. At least arin would lose his trust in ras if he sees him willingly tear a family Apart.
What do you guys think?
Is thunderfang the master of raas?
Is thunderfang plan to kill all source dragons?
Does he have a plan for / plans to posess garmadon?

This is by no means an original take but I shall say it all the same: the majority of Cryatalized's issues could be easily resolved by having both halves be separate seasons - or at the very least getting the s11 treatment where they are both distinct arcs that are connected yet not necessarily the same plot.
Hear me out. Plot threads from part 1 that never got resolved, like the new ninja thing orHounddog McBrag's arc or Nya's reunion being unsatisfying, and the ninja still technically being wanted criminals? Have that be its own separate, contained story. Even if they save Nya in the first few eps, they dont get to see her properly until the very end due to them being on the run, which makes that eventual reunion much more cathartic as well as giving them an emotional motive that still carries over from the season's beginning energy involving the ninjas' grief. We'd get more time to explore everyone's grieving processes in greater depth, and actually give Nya a satisfying arc of coping with her newfound powerlessness and feelings of guilt. Maybe it can be a more grounded storyline - corruption within Ninjago's justice system, or the prisons were planning to do something awful to them, or they realized the judge had no intention of ever letting Nya visit them again so they break out of jail just to reunite with her one last time. Or, yeah, maybe some villain shows up and they have to try and stop them. Either way, if Pt1 had been its own season then that would allow all the storylines and arcs for that part to be resolved much more satisfyingly.
Then, with the Nya and ninja crimonal situation resolved in one way or another, Part 2 as a separate season could have much more effectively dived into stuff like Overlord lore, Harumi's redemption arc, Lloyd's oni form, and general Garmafam drama.
On top of that, thia new two-season system would also fit into the Wildbrain season theme in a fun way. We had Fire and Ice, Electricity, Earth, Green, and then Water. The Pt1 season could then be Creation, with the Pt2 season being Destructuon.
Ultimately, the biggest problem with Crystalized was that it tried to bite off more than it could chew, and tried to juggle too many ideas at once without affording enough time for each of those individual storylines enough time to be effectively resolved. By splitting them into two distinct storylines with their own antagonists, climaxes, and resolutions, the plot threads introduced in both halves would have much more space to get the conclusions they needed.

Ever since I found out what happened to Hanzo, I've been really upset, not just as a Subscorp fan, but also as a huge Hanzo fan.
When I saw Smoke's ending, I was very disappointed. In fact, Kuai Liang's ending made me sad too. First of all, I would like to ask NRS why Kuai married Harumi if, since her introduction into the story, she has always been Hanzo's wife. If the intention was to give Kuai a love interest, wouldn't it be better to create an entirely new character or let him have a relationship with a playable character?
If they specifically chose Harumi because she is part of the Shirai Ryu, wouldn't it be better to put Hanzo in her place? After all, he was the grandmaster of Shirai Ryu in the previous timeline.
I don't understand why they assigned this role to Harumi, when it could easily be given to Hanzo, who has been a playable character in the franchise since launch. I also didn't understand why Harumi married Kuai Liang. Harumi was Hanzo's wife, this was literally his only role in the story, she was part of Hanzo's construction as a character.
I can't like the fact that they excluded Hanzo from the creation of Shirai Ryu, as the clan revolved exclusively around him.
It may seem silly, but to me Hanzo was disrespected in every way possible. He is one of the 7 original characters and received an animated film dedicated to him. You might think "but all that attention wasn't necessarily given to Hanzo, that attention was given to Scorpion". Yes, I understand your point, but that Scorpion is intrinsically Hanzo. The development of Scorpion stemmed from Hanzo's story about losing his family and clan. In Mortal Kombat X, he stops being a wraith and returns to being completely Hanzo Hasashi. In Mortal Kombat X comics, he restores his clan (and unfortunately sees his clan massacred again). In Mortal Kombat 11, he has an excellent redemption arc as he fights alongside the good guys and tells his past self to give up undisciplined revenge.
So, I ask: why give everything that made Hanzo Hanzo to another character?
I have no problem with Kuai Liang being Scorpion. He can have Hanzo's gameplay, weapon and powers, that's okay. But why erase Hanzo from his clan creation and not allow him to have Harumi and Satoshi?
For example, Mileena was finally able to have a family, now she is loved by her sister. But why can't Hanzo have everything he wanted most (Harumi as his wife and Satoshi/Jubei as his son)?
This seems unfair to me. They gave Kuai Liang characteristics of another character. I know that in the new era, the characters have new origins, but they simply gave everything Hanzo had to Kuai Liang. They could create a really new origin for Scorpion Kuai Liang, but they simply discarded elements of Scorpion Hanzo's lore and gave it to him.
Hanzo became a homeless teenager, probably an orphan, he probably continues to suffer, when he could be happy next to Harumi and their son, commanding the Shirai Ryu side by side.
As someone who has been following Mortal Kombat for years and dreams of seeing Hanzo finally happy, it hurt my heart to realize that having what he always wanted is impossible even in Liu Kang's timeline.
If they don't want to change too many things, they can just say that Hanzo and Harumi are a couple and are friends of Kuai Liang's family. Hanzo and Harumi welcome Kuai and Tomas to Japan and help found Shirai Ryu. The boy that Smoke finds on Harumi's property could be Takeda, who was born from an affair between Kenshi and Suchin, just like in Mortal Kombat X comics.
I understand that a new era shows new perspectives and is different from the previous era, but what happened to Hanzo was disrespectful, it was a disregard for the character.
Kitana is still daughter of Sindel & Jerrod, Kuai Liang & Bi-han remain brothers, Tomas grew up with them like in the previous timeline, Mileena is still dating Tanya, Suchin is still Kenshi's love interest (he mentions her in intro dialogues)... So why can't Hanzo marry Harumi and be Satoshi's father? Why they hate him so much?
I'm indifferent to Hanzo and Harumi as a couple (there's not much to think about them, Harumi is an NPC and all her appearances before MK1 were just flashbacks or mentions). The point is that Hanzo suffered for eons over the death of his lover and his son, he would do anything to get them back, this has been demonstrated so many times. I just want him to have the life he always wanted.
And honestly, was it really necessary to give Kuai Liang a completely sudden love interest? He spent 30 years single, why is this out of the blue?
I'm very frustrated with all of this. Hanzo was reduced to an insignificant role in the story (even though he assumed the mantle of the most famous character in the franchise for 30 years), the writers decided to shove Kuai Liang into a random and unnecessary romance, we will probably never have Subscorp again (yes, I know we have a lot of content from them, there have been three decades of many interactions and moments between Kuai and Hanzo, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to having more of them in the new era).
Please do not take this as a criticism of Kuai. I think he was also a victim in all of this. They didn't need to discard elements from Hanzo's old lore and give it to him, Kuai is already a well-written enough character, I even think that his part in MKX comics, where he destroys the cyber initiative and takes leadership of his clan, is the most amazing thing I've ever seen, his transition from a boy who lost his brother to a Grand Master is sensational. He didn't need it. Each character has their individuality, no matter what mantle they take on. For example, when Kuai became Sub-zero after Bi-han's death, he had his own story. Bi-han, now Sub-zero again, appears to have his own story as well, quite different from Kuai Liang's and quite different from his own in Mortal Kombat (1992), Mortal Kombat II and Sub-zero Mythologies.
Anyway, that was just a rant. I have a lot of attachment to Hanzo as a character, so seeing what happened to him is something that really frustrates me.

what r your harumi & lloyd hcs? like appearances, how they r w eachother (in a redemption arc circumstance or just in general), etc?
hi! i actually… have major autism and thought abt this for way too long. like a month too long. and then made art for it. and then i couldn’t remember exactly what you asked for so i made a notes app with every possible headcanon for llorumi.
anyway! here’s the art i made with general headcanons, and under the break will be an in-depth depiction of their appearance headcanons and also a list of headcanons for llorumi, lloyd, and harumi! llorumi headcanons!
lloyds the little spoon, harumis the big spoon.
they pass out in odd places from pure exhaustion (they are both overworkers) and then cuddle but will wake up and pretend it never happened
harumi is such a bitch but then will do the smallest most thoughtful things for lloyd like its the easiest thing in the world and then when called out on it xeir like "oh that? nah that was nothing"
avid night date enjoyers
they watch horror movies like they're sitcoms
trade books back and forth and will have little conversations about their thoughts on the book in the margins
literally the sassiest sass war whenever either of them is hungry
whenever they disagree on something they'll flip a coin and whoever opinion wins keeps the coin
lloyd headcanons!
pierce the veil kid (thought vic fuente was god for a while)
extremely weak swimmer because the water overstimulates her
plays drums, his dad used to when he was a kid so when he found his old sticks he started the hobby
was afab and is now on testosterone
extremely confused by the concept of tone over text (jay will not stop sending him emoticons and he will literally read them as "colon parentheses")
harumi headcanons!
big fan of gothic literature and architecture
likes having pictures of things, knowing that they are real and existed once even for just a five second photo
bites their cheek when they're anxious
gets extremely heated over any game ever. turned stardew valley into a competition somehow
carries around a purse with just mascara, lipgloss, and a knife in it
