I haven’t been playing MK since it first came out like most MK players but I can definitely appreciate the franchise and how well the characters are made, each with their own respective personality.

I have loved Kitana ever since I first laid eyes on her. It was love at first sight and she became my favorite character. No matter how many others there have been, I always come back to my favorite main girl.

Why I Adore MK1 Reptile (A Small Thread)

I really love and adore the fact that Reptile is having such a good life in this new timeline. For once, not 99% of his intros are people finding him repulsive, hideous, or gross...

He genuinely has a sweet and fun relationship with characters who absolutely DESPISED him in previous timelines. Clearly, being treated as an ACTUAL person really helped his psych in the long run. Some of the intro dialogues imply that some of the characters don't think Ashrah won't achieve her goal in the long run. Do you know who goes out of his way to prove that wrong? REPTILE.

He's living such a good life that he's no longer constantly groveling to people who treat him like garbage, but instead is actually helping and contributing to things in Outworld.

And the best thing about this? The intro dialogues imply that he graduates to a HIGHER status for his job.

Reptile was clearly blessed in this timeline to actually live a life he deserved, and I'm so thankful that it happened. From the very bottom of my heart...

Synopsis: {Sparring with your girlfriend Kitana} AN: I dreamt about her randomly last night, woke up and wrote this, enjoy! ✮Masterlist here <3

The Princess Kitana could be oh so restless at times, a fiery spirit, one that was not sated by taking a simple walk around the gardens or relaxing with a nice warm bath. It was why, on many occasions, she would sneak into your room and drag you with her to spar… and gods did she have a stamina you could barely keep up with.

“Kitana, a break. Just one— one moment.” You sigh tiredly, wiping your brow with the back of your hand as you watch the Princess stalk towards you with a smirk, sizing you up like you were some cornered prey, a devastating sight that almost makes your knees buckle.

Her fingers curl around her fan, bringing it close to your dishevelled face. “Don’t tell me I’ve already tired you out, my love?” The sharp point of her fan nudges your chin, forcing you to look up at her, the cold metal shooting a shiver down your spine. Her voice is as smooth as velvet, dangerously low and makes your heart skip a beat.

Kitana grazes the sharp edge along your jaw, being extra careful of your delicate skin— she would never harm you, no, you were far too precious to her. She only wanted to see you tremble is all.

“N-No, it’s just, we’ve been at it for hours.” Oh, bless your heart. She chuckles at the sound of your exhaustion, eyes softening with a look that almost felt a little condescending if she weren’t so tired you might’ve called her out on it.

Your eyes widen, following her movements as she leans closer to you— her sultry gaze flitting from your parted lips then up to your eyes, the pointed tip of her fan brushing along your flushed cheek. “You look so beautiful, all worn out, my butterfly.” Her breath fans across your mouth and you could feel the warmth of her skin radiating against your face, her nose brushing the tip of your own— she’s so unbelievably close and you think she might just kiss you.

Then you see that glint in her eyes, the one that only means trouble and before you can even think about parrying her attack her leg is knocking against your own, tackling you down against the mat with a grin— admiring you beneath the soft lights of the lanterns, her body pinned on top of your own.

“Pretty girl,” Kitana murmurs, leaning down to ghost her lips over yours. “You did well, so well.” She’s lying, you’re a terrible fighter but her praise felt good nonetheless. Her mouth felt better, lips slotted perfectly between your own, kissing you with a passion that set your stomach ablaze. Your fingers pull her hairpin out before tangling within her silky dark tresses, keeping her in place as she deepens the kiss into something much more greedier— swallowing up your little whimpers with fervour, her other hand sneaking up your shirt to caress your bare waist.

The princess only pulls back to take a breath, sweaty forehead resting against your own with a trembling sigh. “You deserve a bath, a nice soak, hmm?” She hums, nestling her nose against your own.

“With you?” You ask shyly, leaning into her slightly as she presses a kiss to the corner of your mouth, humming in agreement. “Of course my sweet girl.”
