HIIIIIIIIIIIIII ♥️
would anyone be interested in a sunday snippet?
FROM DOWN THE LINE (HARRY’S VERSION)
harry wakes to a media storm following his twitter feud with everyone’s least favorite journalist. set in NYC while the Spiders are competing in the ALCS.
(just to give ya the needed time and place!)
Without Niall or Zayn to stop him, he’s free to assess the damage from what he’s certain Daniel has already deemed his “rampage.”
The first notification he sees is from his mother. (And that… is never a good sign).
Mamma Styles: Good morning my love x let me know if there is anything I can do for you or for Louis x text me when you wake up, congratulations on the win last night I am so so so proud of you and your team and your boy
The familiar sight of his mother’s texting style- the kisses used as punctuation- is enough to make Harry’s bottom lip tremble.
Lena: LMAO
Lena: Only u would be dramatic enough to set twitter ablaze for love, big bro
Lena: But seriously, I love you sm and I know you and I want you to know that the overall reaction has been very positive. Most are on your side and the ones who aren’t are homophobic twats who don’t matter x fox news I’m looking at u
Lena: Pls let me know how my brother in law is doing in the morning and also let me know if there’s anything I can do for you. I love you, H
Harry lets out a quiet sniffle.
Harry: If you keep referring to Louis as your brother in law, I am going to accidentally refer to him as my husband in passing and it will be ALL YOUR FAULT
The light-hearted moment, though, is fleeting. It takes a few seconds for Lena’s texts to be fully comprehended. When they are, Harry’s soul leaves his body.
Fox News reported on Harry’s Twitter fight with Fuckton? Fox News? A major media outlet?
It’s not as though being viewed favorably by Fox has ever been a goal for Harry, but. If Fox has run any sort of segment, that likely means CNN and MSNBC and perhaps the Today Show or Morning Show have to and…
Oh god.
Oh god.
Feasibly, his kindergarten teacher could have seen that Tweet. Ms. Susie. With the bouncy, graying blonde curls and kind blue eyes. She could have seen him ask a journalist if he ever shuts the fuck up. His life is over.
Dozens of texts have flooded his phone. Harry holds his breath as he searches specifically for Jordan’s number and finds new messages.
Jordan Richards: No matter the media response, we’re all proud of you for standing up for Louis and for always being the teammate that you are. You will face no sort of disciplinary action from the Spiders organization and we will push back against any different decision advocated for by the MLB.
Jordan Richards: Get some rest, Harry. Louis will be okay, and you will be, too.
Louis will be okay, Louis will be okay, Louis will be okay.
In the end, that is what matters. More than any potential disciplinary actions or the public response or the tirade the Crouton is preparing for his next podcast. It doesn’t matter. Louis is going to be okay and if push came to shove, Harry would have sent out that Tweet a million times over because it is Louis.
It’s Louis.
enjoy! i shared this on twitter earlier and in the spirit of trying to not keep neglecting tumblr, i figured i’d give you the teaser as well :-) happy sunday! ♥️

↳ bf!mattheo riddle x fem reader (slight angst ? fluff) requested by @ilovematteoxx ♡
↳ 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑑 𝑐𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑡 : 1.2k
𝑠𝑢𝑚𝑚𝑎𝑟𝑦 : you can’t find your boyfriend after an argument, and the castle is surrounded by dementors
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
the argument had started over something small. ridiculously small, actually. you couldn’t even remember the details anymore, but somehow, the two of you had managed to let it escalate and before you knew it, mattheo and you were throwing sharp words like hexes.
your boyfriend, as loving as he was, had a way of getting under your skin sometimes. he was all about teasing smirks and cocky grins that usually made you laugh, but tonight you weren’t laughing. tonight, you were tired and on edge from a long week of classes and when he joked about you taking things too seriously, something inside of you snapped.
“not everyone has the luxury of not giving a damn, mattheo.” you’d answered with your arms crossed. “not everyone has parents who don’t care.”
the moment the words left your lips, you swore you could’ve felt the air shift. it was like time froze, everything suddenly stood still and went way too quiet. mattheo’s expression shifted, the usual soft gaze he saved for you disappearing. you saw how the hurt flickered in his dark eyes, before he quickly covered it with cold indifference.
“forget it,” he said sharply before walking out, turning his heel and disappearing out of the common room before you could even get a word out.
you stood there, frozen, the weight of your words slowly sinking in. merlin, you hadn’t meant it like that. in fact, you hadn’t meant to hurt him at all. but you had and now he was gone, and you didn’t even know where.
you couldn’t focus on anything for the rest of the evening and as wandered around the castle - silently hoping you’d bump into him around the corner - the hallways felt emptier than ever. dinner passed in a blur too. every time someone entered the great hall and sat down at the slytherin table, you quickly looked up, only to realise it wasn’t him.
you spent the rest of the night alone in your dorm, laying in bed and staring at the ceiling, trying and failing to get any sleep. your last conversation kept replaying in your head, what if you’d really hurt him this time ? what if he didn’t come back ? sure, mattheo had his walls, but he never stayed mad at you for long… your mind spiralled. outside the window, everything was dark and still. inside your heart, everything was twisted in knots.
and then, just as you were finally drifting off, a loud noise jolted you awake. it wasn’t just you either, you heard frantic footsteps outside your dorm, and voices raising as well. you sat up, heart pounding and confused. it wasn’t long before a frantic knock echoed through the door, and your best friend pansy came in.
“you have to get up, everyone is being taken to the great hall. now !” she said quickly. “what’s happening ?” you asked in a panicky tone as you got out of bed. “dementors,” she muttered, pulling you outside and rushing you to join the many students making their way through the dark halls. “they’ve been spotted outside.”
your heart skipped a beat. dementors.
the crowd of students rushed to the great hall, tension filling the air, already thick with worry and whispers. you scanned the faces around, searching for any signs of mattheo. but he wasn’t there. he wasn’t anywhere.
“pansy,” you breathed, tugging on her sleeve as realisation dawned on you. “i don’t see mattheo. where is he ?”
she shrugged, concern flickering in her eyes “don’t know, i haven’t seen him since this afternoon”
you swallowed hard, your chest tightening. where was he ? the last time you saw him was when he’d left after the argument, angry and hurt. what if he was outside when the dementors had left ? what if… what if the last thing you said to him was the stupid comment about his father ?
your breathing picked up and theo noticed it from across the room, before making his way over. “what’s going on ?” he asked with furrowed brows.
“i can’t find mattheo,” you whispered with a trembling voice. “we had a fight earlier and now he’s probably out there, and-“
theo exchanged a knowing look with pansy before cutting you off by gently pulling you into a reassuring side hug “he’s fine, amore. probably just running late, you know him, always slipping off to do merlin knows what.”
but you weren’t reassured. not when the castle was in lockdown. it when dementors were around. not when mattheo was nowhere to be seen, and the last thing he heard from you was something you didn’t mean.
“i didn’t mean it,” you whispered with regret. pansy rubbed your back to comfort you but it didn’t stop the tears from welling up in your eyes as you reached the great hall. the place was crowded with panicked students and teachers, but you still felt terribly alone in your world of fear.
“i shouldn’t have said it,” you choked out, wiping your eyes and ignoring the people running around and bumping into you. “i shouldn’t have-“
before you could finish, a heavy sound echoed through the hall. the giant wooden doors swung open with a gust of cold air, and every head turned toward the entrance.
mattheo stood in the doorway, along with some others students you didn’t even glance at. his curly hair was damp with the rain, and his robes slightly disheveled. he looked like he’d been through a storm, but he was there.
without thinking, you ran. you pushed through the crowd, not caring who you bumped into, your heart racing as you closed the distance between you. by the time you reached him, a tear had managed to roll down your cheek, but you didn’t care. you threw yourself into his arms, your hands fisting his robes as you breathed him in.
“mattheo,” you gasped, holding onto him like he might disappear. “i’m so sorry. i didn’t mean it, i swear i didn’t mean it.”
his arms came around you immediately, pulling you close, his chin resting on top of your head. “hey, hey, it’s okay,” he murmured, his voice low and soothing. “it’s okay, love. i’m not mad.”
you pulled back just enough to look up at him, your slightly red eyes searching his face. “you’re not?”
he shook his head, his hand coming up to cup your cheek. “no. i just… needed some time. but i’m not mad. i promise.”
you bit your lip, trying to stop the flood of emotions threatening to overwhelm you again. “i thought—i thought something happened to you. i was so scared.”
mattheo’s gaze softened, and he wiped the tears away with his thumb. “i’m sorry i scared you. i shouldn’t have just left like that.”
you shook your head quickly, you knew your boyfriend’s habit of walking out during arguments was just to help manage his anger. it was something he’d started doing when he realised you were the only good thing in his life, and he didn’t want to take his negative feelings out on you.
“no, it’s my fault. i shouldn’t have said what i did.” he leaned down, pressing his forehead against yours, his breath warm against your skin. “it’s okay,” he whispered. “i’m here. i’m not walking away this time.”
for the first time that night, you felt the tightness in your chest ease. the panic, the fear, it all melted away in his arms, replaced by the steady, grounding warmth of his presence. “nice pajamas by the way,” he chuckled, and you rolled your eyes.

“absent” - Jegulus microfic - @into-the-jeggyverse - 268 words
Sirius loves Hogsmeade weekends when the whole group gets together for lunch at the Three Broomsticks. He’s looking around the table at the smiling faces of all his friends when he realizes two faces are notably absent.
“Hey Marls. James walked down with you guys, right?” Sirius asks.
“He said he needed to stay back and work on new strategies for us to practice this week to use in the match next weekend.” Marlene explains.
Sirius furrows his eyebrows, but it does make sense. James is obsessive about Quidditch, and next weekend’s match is a big one.
“Oi! Crouch!” Sirius calls to the other end of the table. “Where’s Reggie?”
“Revising. He says he likes the library on Hogsmeade weekends because there’s nobody else there. Swot.” Barty says with an eye roll which Sirius returns.
Regulus hates noise and crowds when he studies so it makes sense that he would want to go to the library today.
Sirius shrugs it off and goes back to his lunch.
———
Sirius is sitting across from James at dinner when he notices a trail of love bites running down his neck.
“Prongs, are those hickeys?” Sirius gasps but before James can answer–
“Oi Reg!! Are those hickeys?!” They hear Barty yelling from across the hall.
James’ eyes go wide with fear and Sirius’ eyes narrow to a murderous glare.
“I err… I have to…” James stutters as he slowly stands up.
Once he’s on his feet, James sprints from the Great Hall with Sirius close behind him.
Just before the doors close, Sirius thinks he hears Regulus yell, “Please don’t kill him.” Which only makes Sirius run faster.

Last day of slytherinmas 😭
My girl
Theodore nott x cheerleader!reader
Summary: you keep your relationship hidden but when a charming gryffindor captain tries to win you over, it’s not just a game of quidditch anymore it’s a game for you
A/n: it’s his pov guys and thank you for another great idea @smut-anarchy I wanna kiss your beautiful brain 💋
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The sun hung high in the autumn sky, casting a warm golden hue over the Quidditch pitch at Hogwarts. The excitement of the crowd buzzed in my ears, a cacophony of cheers and shouts that rose and fell like the wind. I stood on the sidelines, my heart pounding not from the thrill of the game but from a simmering anger that threatened to boil over.
Gryffindor was playing Slytherin today, and while the usual rivalry had me on edge, it wasn’t the opposing team that had me fuming. No, it was their captain, Oliver Wood. With his tousled hair and those infuriatingly charming winks he kept sending toward the Slytherin cheerleaders, my focus shifted solely to him, and more specifically, to Y/N.
Y/N was mesmerizing, even in her cheer uniform. Her laughter rang out above the rest, and every time Wood shot her a flirty wink, a knot tightened in my stomach. I couldn’t stand it. She was my girl, and I had no intention of letting anyone else think otherwise.
As I watched Wood fly around the pitch, I could feel the rage bubbling within me. He was supposed to be focused on the game, yet he was wasting precious moments trying to win Y/N’s affection rather than leading his team. I clenched my fists, my knuckles white as I considered what I would do to show him that she wasn’t interested in his charming little antics.
When Slytherin scored their first goal, I caught Y/N’s eye. She smiled brightly, her eyes sparkling with delight, but I could see the confusion lurking beneath the surface. Did she even realize how much Wood was flirting with her? I hoped not. The last thing I wanted was for her to reciprocate. My mind raced with thoughts of how to assert my claim, how to remind everyone that she was mine.
As the match continued, it became apparent that I needed to focus. I was a Beater, and my job was to protect my teammates, to ensure that we won. But my attention kept being drawn to the Gryffindor captain. The way he smiled at Y/N and winked, as if it were a game in itself.
“Focus, Nott,” Blaise shouted to me, making me force my gaze back to the pitch. I could hear the cheers from the stands, feel the adrenaline surging in the air, but it was all clouded by my growing jealousy.
The game wore on, and it seemed that Oliver was determined to keep his flirtation going. I could see him glance at Y/N every chance he got, completely ignoring the game’s flow. It only fueled my determination. I was ready to send him a message, to make him realize that he was crossing a line.
With every swing of my bat, I aimed to protect my teammates while keeping an eye on Wood. I wasn’t above playing dirty if it meant defending my territory.
“Keep your eyes on the ball, Theo!” My friend Draco’s voice broke through my haze of anger. I barely registered him; I was locked on Oliver.
Then it happened. A bludger was coming straight for Wood as he flew high above the pitch. Instinct kicked in; I swung my bat, sending the ball hurtling toward him with a calculated force. The impact was satisfying as he narrowly dodged it, but I could see the annoyance flash in his eyes. Good. Let him know I’m not here to play nice.
The match progressed, and with each passing moment, I felt the tide of the game turning in our favor. My teammates rallied, fueled by the promise of victory and the desire to defend our honor. Y/N cheered us on from the sidelines, her voice ringing clear and bright.
Finally, as the match neared its end, Slytherin secured a decisive lead. The moment came when I saw Oliver making yet another desperate attempt to impress Y/N with a flashy move. I could feel my anger boiling over, and I took one last swing of my bat, sending a bludger careening directly at him.
He dodged, but the distraction was enough. Our Seeker, Millicent, dove toward the Golden Snitch, her determination matched only by my own. She caught it, and the crowd erupted in cheers.
Slytherin had won.
As I landed on the pitch, adrenaline coursing through me, I scanned the crowd for Y/N. She was beaming, her smile lighting up my world, and in that moment, I knew I had to claim her in front of everyone. I had to show Wood and the rest of the school that she belonged to me.
I strode toward her, my heart pounding in my chest. When I reached her, the noise of the crowd faded, and it was just the two of us. Without hesitation, I pulled her into my arms and kissed her fiercely. It was a declaration, a promise, a way to stake my claim.
The crowd erupted into a mix of cheers and gasps, but I didn’t care. I could feel Y/N’s surprise melt into delight as she kissed me back, her hands tangled in my hair.
Oliver’s glare from the other side of the pitch was almost palpable, but I didn’t let it bother me. I had won the game, and more importantly, I had won her heart.
In that moment, nothing else mattered. I was Theodore Nott, the boy who defended what was his, and I had no intention of letting anyone—especially not Oliver Wood—get in my way.

Breaking point
Summary: Two years after the turmoil of her fifth year at Hogwarts, MC returns for her seventh year, haunted by past trauma and the ghosts of broken friendships. Reconnecting with Ominis and Sebastian, her once closest friends, is no easy feat. As she drowns her pain in reckless parties, endless boys and destructive behavior, both boys watch helplessly, knowing she’s spiraling. When a night takes a dark turn, they intervene, and MC is forced to face the pain she’s been hiding. But Sebastian, with his own regrets, is determined to help her heal—and to prove that he’s not letting her go.
Pairing: Sebastian Sallow x F!reader (fluff at the end/protective Seb)
Warnings: mentions of alcohol abuse and slutshaming. Characters aged up to 7th year!
a/n: is this fandom still alive? Maybe I'm to late to the party ;) But I'm really enjoying myself haha. Plan to do more in the future: preparing some prompts and headcanons en requests are open. Give me a follow for more.
Tumblr media
It had been two years since their fateful fifth year, and though the dust had settled, the wounds had not. Life at Hogwarts carried on, but for MC, every hallway, every classroom, and every face served as a reminder of what she had endured. She returned to Hogwarts for her seventh year, her path winding her back to the two people who had once been her closest friends: Ominis Gaunt and Sebastian Sallow.
It wasn’t immediate, this reconnection. Time had a way of healing and, at the same time, pushing people apart. Their sixth year had been quiet—MC had needed space to deal with everything, to step back from the chaos that had consumed her life. But now, in their final year, they had found each other again, tentatively rebuilding their friendship.
And yet, something was different.
Sebastian had never stopped loving her. That much was obvious to Ominis, even if Sebastian refused to admit it outright. The way his eyes softened when she entered the room, the protective edge in his tone whenever someone so much as teased her—it was clear to anyone paying attention. But MC, though she cared deeply for him, was terrified of letting herself feel the same.
She couldn’t.
If she allowed herself to feel for Sebastian, she risked everything. What if he didn’t feel the same? What if it ruined their fragile friendship? She couldn’t afford to lose anyone else. Not again. And so, she buried her feelings and found other ways to cope.
At first, it had been small things. A few late nights at parties, a glass of Firewhisky here and there. But as the year wore on, her coping mechanisms became destructive. She was at every party, taking shot after shot until the world blurred around her. She laughed too loudly, danced too wildly, and left with boys who didn’t know her name and didn’t care to.
It wasn’t long before Ominis and Sebastian noticed.
“She’s not herself,” Ominis said one night, pacing the floor of their shared dormitory. “She’s drinking too much. She is searching for validation in other people arms. She’s… reckless.”
Sebastian sat on his bed, his jaw tight, his hands clenched into fists. He didn’t need Ominis to tell him what he already knew.
“I’ve seen her,” he muttered. “I’ve seen her, throw herself to others, going way behond her own limits, Ominis. She doesn’t even look like herself anymore.”
Ominis stopped pacing, his expression grim. “She’s hurting, Sebastian. She’s been hurting for years, and we didn’t help. She needed us, and we weren’t there. After everything she has done for us”
Sebastian flinched at the words. He couldn’t deny it. In their fifth year, he had hurt her—his obsession with saving Anne, the lies, the dark magic. He had driven a wedge between them, and the guilt of it still weighed heavily on him.
“But what do we do now?” Sebastian asked, his voice low. “She won’t listen to us. She doesn’t even look at me anymore.”
Ominis sighed. “We keep an eye on her. We make sure she’s safe, even if she doesn’t want us to. And when the time is right, we talk to her. Really talk to her.”
The Slytherin common room was packed, the air thick with the smell of Firewhisky and the sound of laughter. It was one of the biggest parties of the year, and MC was right in the center of it.
She looked radiant, her cheeks flushed, her laughter ringing out above the noise. But to Sebastian and Ominis, who watched from the corner of the room, there was a sadness in her eyes that no one else seemed to notice.
“She’s already drunk,” Ominis said quietly, his gaze fixed on her as she stumbled slightly, leaning on a nearby table for support.
Sebastian’s fists clenched. “I’m not letting her leave with anyone tonight.”
They continued to watch as she floated from group to group, her laughter louder, her movements more erratic. And then Weasley approached her.
It started innocently enough. Garreth poured her another drink, cracking jokes that made her laugh. But as the night wore on, his intentions became clearer. He moved closer to her, his hand brushing against her arm, then her waist. MC, too drunk to notice—or too drunk to care—didn’t push him away.
Sebastian’s blood boiled.
“She’s too far gone for this,” he growled, stepping forward, but Ominis grabbed his arm.
“Not yet. Let’s see if she pushes him off.”
But she didn’t. Garreth led her to a quieter corner of the room, away from the crowd. She swayed on her feet, barely able to keep her balance, but Garreth steadied her.
And then he kissed her.
It wasn’t soft or gentle. It was rough, his hands gripping her waist, pulling her against him. MC stiffened, her hands pressing weakly against his chest, but she was too drunk to fight back. His hands began to wander, slipping down to her thighs, and that was when Sebastian snapped.
“Get your hands off her!”
He was across the room in seconds, shoving Garreth away with a force that sent him stumbling. Garreth glared, his face red with anger and embarrassment.
“She wanted it” Garreth spat, but Sebastian didn’t let him finish.
“She’s drunk,” Sebastian snarled, his voice low and dangerous. “She couldn’t consent even if she did want it. You’re pathetic.”
Ominis stepped in, his hand on Sebastian’s arm. “Enough. Let’s get her out of here.”
MC was barely coherent, her head lolling against Sebastian’s chest as he scooped her into his arms.
The Room of Requirement was quiet, the chaos of the party far behind them. Sebastian laid MC gently on a plush sofa, pulling a blanket over her as Ominis conjured a glass of water.
“She’s going to hate us for this,” Ominis said softly.
“I don’t care,” Sebastian replied, his voice thick with emotion. “I’m not letting her destroy herself.”
They stayed by her side through the night, refusing to leave her alone. When she finally stirred, the early morning light filtering through the room, she groaned softly, her head pounding.
“Where… where am I?” she mumbled.
“The Room of Requirement,” Sebastian said, his voice gentle. “You drank too much. We brought you here.”
She sat up slowly, her eyes darting between the two boys. “Did I… did something happen?”
Sebastian hesitated, his jaw tightening. “Garreth crossed a line. We stopped him.”
Her face crumpled, tears spilling down her cheeks. “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.”
“Stop,” Ominis said firmly. “You don’t need to apologize to us. But you do need to stop doing this to yourself.”
Sebastian knelt in front of her, taking her hands in his. “Why, MC? Why are you doing this? Drinking, partying… pushing us away?”
She shook her head, her voice barely a whisper. “I don’t know how to feel anymore. I can’t… I can’t risk losing you. Either of you. If I let myself feel anything, it’ll destroy me.”
“You’re not going to lose us,” he said again, his voice steadier this time. “But you have to stop hurting yourself. You have to let someone in, MC.”
Her lips quivered, and she shook her head. “I can’t. What if I mess it up? What if I ruin everything? You don’t understand, Sebastian. You… you mean everything to me. You both do. If I lose you, I don’t know how to keep going.”
Sebastian felt his heart crack open. Every word she spoke was another piece of armor he hadn’t realized he’d been wearing, falling away. “And you think I don’t feel the same?” he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
She blinked at him, her eyes glassy with unshed tears. “You… what?”
“I love you,” he said, firmer now. “I’ve been in love with you since Fifth Year. And seeing you like this—seeing you with Garreth, seeing you destroy yourself—it’s killing me. I can’t stand it anymore, MC. I can’t.”
Her breath hitched, her hands tightening around his as though he might disappear if she let go. “But why didn’t you tell me?”
“Because I didn’t think I deserved you,” he admitted, his voice breaking. “Not after everything I did. Not after how much I hurt you back then.”
“You didn’t hurt me, Sebastian,” she said, her voice trembling. “You were trying to save Anne. You were trying to save your family. I could never hate you for that.”
Sebastian let out a shaky laugh, his forehead falling to hers. “And I could never hate you for what you’ve done this year. But you have to stop punishing yourself. You’re not alone. You never were.”
The words hit her like a tidal wave. For years, she had carried the weight of her guilt, her grief, her fear—alone. And now, here was Sebastian, promising to share it with her. To stay by her side no matter what.
She let out a choked sob and pulled him into a fierce hug. “I’m so sorry,” she whispered, over and over again.
“You don’t have to apologize,” he murmured, his arms wrapping tightly around her. “Just let me be here for you. Please.”
For the first time in years, she let herself believe that she wasn’t alone.
When the three of them returned to the Great Hall the next morning, the whispers began almost immediately.
“Look at her. The hero of Hogwarts, brought home by her two protectors again.”
“Bet she’s gone through half the boys in Slytherin by now.”
“She’ll probably ditch Sebastian and take Ominis next. What’s another name on the list?”
MC’s face burned as the whispers reached her ears. She felt every judgmental gaze, every smirk. It was suffocating. She tried to retreat into herself, but Sebastian caught her hand, intertwining his fingers with hers.
“Don’t listen to them,” he said quietly. “They don’t know you.”
But the words lingered.
Over the next week, the rumors only grew worse. Despite the clear shift in MC’s behavior—she avoided parties, stopped behaving recklessly, and spent most of her time with Sebastian and Ominis—the whispers followed her wherever she went. And it didn’t take long for people to start turning their attention to Sebastian.
“She’s just using him. He’s the next notch on her wand.”
“Poor Sebastian. He’s in over his head with her.”
It boiled under his skin, every cruel word igniting his frustration. But he knew MC was the one who was truly suffering.
“You don’t believe them, do you?” he asked her one night as they sat by the fire in the Room of Requirement.
“No,” she said quietly, but her voice betrayed her doubt. “But it’s hard not to. After everything I’ve done… maybe they’re right.”
Sebastian cupped her face, forcing her to look at him. “They are not right. You’re more than their stupid gossip, MC. You’re more than your mistakes.” He leaned closer, his voice softening. “You’re mine.”
Her eyes widened, her lips parting as his words settled over her.
“I mean it,” he continued. “I don’t care what they say. I don’t care what they think. You’re mine, and I’m not letting anyone take you away from me.”
The breaking point came a week later during a Potions class. Garreth Weasley had taken to making sly comments under his breath whenever MC or Sebastian walked by. Most of the time, Sebastian ignored him, but today, something snapped.
“Well, well,” Garreth said, loud enough for the whole class to hear. “Looks like Sallow finally got his turn. Tell me, MC, how does he compare to the others?”
The room fell silent.
Sebastian shot out of his seat, his wand already drawn. “Take that back,” he snarled, his voice deadly calm.
Garreth smirked. “What? I’m just saying what everyone’s thinking.”
“Take. It. Back.”
“Sebastian!” MC’s voice cut through the tension, pulling him back. He turned to her, his face twisted in anger and pain.
“Let them say what they want,” she said softly, her hand brushing against his. “They don’t matter. You do.”
For a moment, the room was frozen. And then, without hesitation, Sebastian cupped her face and kissed her.
It wasn’t a soft, tentative kiss. It was fierce and full of fire, a declaration for everyone in the room to see. When he pulled away, he turned back to Garreth, his hand still on MC’s cheek.
“She’s not some name on a list,” he said coldly. “She’s mine. And if I hear you—or anyone else—talk about her like that again, you’ll regret it.”
The class erupted into murmurs as the professor returned, breaking the moment. But the damage was done. The rumors didn’t stop entirely, but they shifted.
In the days that followed, MC felt something she hadn’t felt in years: peace. Sebastian was by her side at every turn, his presence a constant reminder that she wasn’t alone anymore.
They spent their days together in quiet moments—reading by the fire, sneaking out to the Forbidden Forest for walks, or simply sitting in the Great Hall, their fingers brushing under the table.
And when the whispers started up again, Sebastian was quick to silence them with a sharp glare or a cutting remark. Ominis, ever loyal, had even taken to redirecting conversations when he overheard anything cruel.
For the first time in years, MC felt like she could breathe again.
One evening, as they sat together in the Room of Requirement, Sebastian turned to her, his expression serious.
“Promise me something,” he said.
“Anything,” she replied.
“Promise me you won’t shut me out again. No matter how bad things get, no matter how scared you are, you come to me. Always.”
She smiled, her eyes shining with tears. “I promise.”
And when she kissed him this time, it wasn’t about proving anything to anyone. It was just for them.
For once, she was finally home.

When it came to you, Ominis was no stranger to the idea of the long game. You, Ominis, Sebastian, and Anne had been friends for as long as you could all remember. Ominis has had a crush on you for almost just as long. It was worst this year. With Anne staying home all your attention was turned to the two boys. Usually you would turn to Anne some days and have girl time between the two of you. Now, Ominis had nothing but time to grow more and more infatuated with you.
Ever since the new fifth year beat him in a duel, Sebastian had been mostly with them, giving you and Ominis even more time alone together. It was driving him crazy. Every time you laughed in the way that he loved, rested your chin on his shoulder to look at what we was doing, leaned your arm against his to whisper something during class. He had to hold himself back so he didn’t just grab you and slam his lips onto yours. One of the only parts of you he has yet to be able to identify. As children you would play games, Ominis feeling all of his friends’ faces and guess who was who, so he knew the general idea of what your face looked like. But your lips was a mystery to him. A mystery he badly wanted solved.
Today, you were sitting with Ominis in a corridor near the slytherin common room. You had spent most of the day trying to cheer him up after Sebastian repeatedly would bother him about Salazar Slytherin’s Sciptorium. You knew that he wanted nothing to do with dark magic after the hold it has had no his family for generations. Sure, Ominis had been exaggerating his hurt feelings just a bit, but if all it took was a little pouting to get you this close to him, then you best believe he was about to win an oscar for this performance.
“He just doesn’t understand how dangerous it is!” he complained with a dramitic sigh, smiling internally due to the hand you had running soothing circles across his back.
“He’s just trying to do anything he can to help Anne,” you replied, wanting to defend him.
“I know. I don’t like seeing Anne suffer either, same as you. But I know where this path leads, and it’s never a good place.”
Ominis’s internal smile fell as he heard you greet the new student Sebastian had befriended.
“What are you doing here?” He asked them with a small scoff.
That scoff, of course, resulting in a small smack on the shoulder from you, muttering a small “Manners,” in his ear. Ominis rolled his eyes, but the smile he had inside, reserve just for you, came back once more.
“Do you have a moment?” the new student spoke up.
Ominis didn’t want to, but he heard them out. After lying about Sebastian showing them the undercroft, Ominis has been wary about this student. Even so, he was feeling at ease due to your presence, and in turn agreed to show them where Salazar’s Scriptorum was located.
“I hope we don’t regret this,” he said with a sigh as he revealed how to access the door.
“We’ve just been sitting outside of it?” you asked with a chuckle, noticing you didn’t have to even move to be at the door.
Ominis shrugged, his internal smile showing through just a bit on the outside. “It was the first place I thought of.”
“First place you thought of to go and complain about the scriptorium?”
“Precisely.”
Before any of you knew it, Sebastian and his new friend had opened the door, ushering each other inside.
“I just hope we’re ready for this,” Ominis continued to sigh.
“We’ll be fine,” you tried to reassure.
“We?” Ominis had repeated. “You’re not coming.”
“What? Ominis you can’t possibly expect me to stay behind.”
“I don’t want you getting hurt.”
“If you’re going, I’m going,” was all you said, standing your ground.
“Y/n…” he had tried to coax. You didn’t say anything, hands finding their way to your hips. Ominis sighed. He knew you were stubborn, so he also knew there was no talking you out of this. “Fine.”
Your stubborn glare quickly faded into a cheek to cheek grin as you almost skipped next to Ominis, linking your arms together before making your way into the door, following behind Sebastian and the fifth-year who had already found their way inside.
Not that you would ever admit it, but hearing Ominis speak Parsetounge did something to you. Yes, the language often ties a witch or wizard to dark magic, and for Ominis it serves only as a reminder to his family, but that doesn’t mean you can’t appreciate how attractive it was when he spoke it.
“It worked!” the fifth year spoke as the door opened. “Ominis, you possess a rare ability indeed.”
“It’s nothing,” he brushed off, retreating back towards you and linking your arms once more.
“Truly,” you agreed. “It’s fascinating.”
If you weren’t near positive that Ominis would never think about you in a romantic way whatsoever, you would have sword you saw a small tinge of red grace his cheeks at your comment. But it was probably just the lighting.
Once the door was open, the other two were fast to start figuring out the puzzles and the maze in order to get through the scriptorium. You and Ominis had stayed behind. Ominis wanted nothing to do with this, his job was just to open the door. You were curious about the area, yes, but Ominis was more important. You wanted to make sure he was okay. Usually throughout the days he would have plenty of distraction from his family and their legacy. But now? In the heart of Salazar Slytherin’s Scriptorium? All that surrounded him were reminders.
As the doors opened one by one, you all moved further and further until you reached a black door.
“Looks troubling,” was all Sebastian had said.
Ominis scoffed. “This whole place is troubling.”
As the other two went into the strange room, you didn’t budge. As Ominis was stopped from the firm grasp you still had on him, he turned towards you confused.
“I don’t like the looks of this room,” you whispered. “I have a bad feeling about it.”
“So do I,” he responded, his hand finding the top of yours to comfort you. “But for my aunt’s sake, we cannot stop now.”
“You’re right,” you nodded, taking a deep breath. “We’ll be okay.”
As soon as you stepped into the new room, the door closed behind you.
“The gate!” Sebastian called out, “We’re locked in… again.”
“Then Salazar Slytherin is not yet finished with us,” Ominis sneered. At this point, you began to panic. There was no clear way out. You began to lose even more hope when you looked in the corner and noticed-
“A skeleton,” the new student pointed out. “And Noctora’s last journal entry. She mentions being trapped here. Trapped by… and unforgivable curse.”
Your eyes widened. The incantation “crucio” etched into the floor suddenly making sense.
“No,” you said in a slight panic. “No there has to be some other way out of here. Another puzzle? Another brazier to light?”
“What?” Ominis asked, confused. “What are you talking about? What is it?”
“They know what we need to do,” Sebastian said plainly. “One of us needs to cast crucio.”
Sebastian turned to his friend by the door, discussing the curse with them while Ominis began to pace.
“Ominis,” you called to him. “Ominis relax, we will figure something out.”
“No,” he said simply. “No this all could have been avoided. I could have refused, we could have just gone to dinner. I could have protested more to you joining.”
“Ominis none of this is your fault.”
“Yes it is! Don’t you see? I put you in danger.”
“I chose to be here.”
“But you had doubts, and I assured you that it would be alright.”
“And we are alright. We’ll find a way around this.”
Before anything else could be said, they heard the new fifth year shout out “Crucio!” in Sebastian’s direction. The two of you looked towards the pair with wide eyes, about to call out towards Sebastion until… nothing happened.
“Did you do the movement wrong?” Sebastian asked.
“No,” they responded, shaking their head. “No, I think that I just couldn’t mean it. I care for you, Sebastian.”
“You have to try,” he urged.
“I can’t.”
“Cast it on me,” you spoke up suddenly, taking a step towards the pair.
“No!” Ominis had interjected quickly.
“They can’t cast it on Sebastian,” you began to explain.
“You can’t-”
“We don’t have the same connection so they could-”
“Not you!”
“Ominis,” you sighed, quieting your voice as you pulled him aside. “I will be fine.”
“I’ve felt the cruciatus curse before so I-”
“Shouldn’t have to go through it again. Let me do this, please.”
Ominis didn’t say anything more. You took his silence as a sign of agreement, so you approached the door.
“You ready?” Sebastian had asked you.
You nodded. “Ready.”
Ominis braced for the moment that the spell left their wand. He knew what to expect, but he’d never heard the sound of excruciating pain from you. That was something he was not curious to find out.
Ominis listened as the screams left your throat, as you fell to your knees on the ground. He expected this. He expected the screams to last for several seconds. But this was too long. If they had just cast the curse and left it at that, the pain would have subsided by now. This was prolonged for too long.
“Stop!” he yelled over the screams. “That’s enough!”
He waited for what felt like eternity for the screams to stop. For any sign that you were no longer in pain. But when your screams had cut off abruptly, it did not give him the relief he was waiting for.
“Y/n?” he asked into the silence. “Y/n are you okay?” Never had there ever been a moment in his life that Ominis had wished more that he could see what was happening around him. When you didn’t respond, he began to walk towards the door, calling Sebastian’s name instead. “What’s happened? Are they okay?”
When Sebastian didn’t respond either, Ominous really began to panic. “Answer me, Sebastian!”
“They fainted,” the student told him flatly.
“What?” he hissed, rushing to where he last heard your voice, hands failing about to try and find any sign of you. When his hand landed on your shoulder, he let out a small breath of relief, almost as if he expected you to have disappeared entirely. “I’m taking them to the hospital wing,” he then announced, following down your arm to find the bend of your knees, intending to pick you up.
“No!” Sebastian protested. “You can’t.”
“And why not?”
“They’ll know we were using unforgivables,” the fifth-year stated.
“What if we need you to open another door?” Sebastian commented at the same time.
“Glad to see you both care so deeply about their safety,” Ominis scoffed.
“You can’t carry them and use your wand to lead you both,” Sebastian continued, looking for another excuse to keep the boy there. “Let’s find the end of this tunnel and then we’ll take them there together, deal?”
Ominis sighed, head faced towards the floor. He didn’t want to delay getting you the help you needed, but Sebastian was right. He could crash you both into a wall and injure you further. As much as he hated to admit it, your health was in their hands now.
“Just hurry up, will you?” he muttered quietly.
---
When you finally awoke from your unconscious state, Ominis was asleep next to you. Looking around you noticed you were no longer in the dungeons, but instead in the hospital wing under watchful eyes. Well, not that Ominis could very well be included in that.
As you turned to look at the boy next to you, you moved as quietly as possible. Lacking his sight, Ominis seemed to have much higher hearing abilities than anyone else you knew, so you knew that any sudden noise would be enough to wake him. Your theory was proved correct as he stirred awake at the small ruffle of the sheet.
You watched as he opened his mouth, but no sound came out as if he changed his mind on speaking up. Instead, you saw his hand slowly reach out towards you, as if to confirm you were there.
“I’m awake,” you told him with a smile.
Ominis let out a small breath of relief. “Are you alright?”
“I’m alright,” you nodded. “I didn’t expect it to last that long.”
“It shouldn’t have,” he said, almost with a sneer. “That new student had to curse on you for longer than it needed to be. All we needed was for it to hit you, they made it linger. They’re lucky I don’t go straight to professor Black and have them expelled.”
Ominis’s thoughts stopped in their tracks when he felt you lay your hand on top of his.
“I’m alright,” you assured him again. “Lay with me.”
“I- What?”
“Please? I don’t want to think about any of this anymore.”
Ominis sat still in thought for a moment, stammering slightly to himself before standing from his chair, feeling around the bed to make sure you were out of the way before laying down beside you. You layed your head onto his chest and exhaled deeply with a contented sigh. Ominis smiled gently to himself, his nose falling into your hair as he inhaled your scent. He decided then and there that it didn’t matter that he could never see you. Every other sense he had t otake you in was just fine for him. Your voice was enough to bring a small smile to your face, your laugh even more so. Your smell felt like home to him. He could tell you were in a room just by the smell of your shampoo. He could pinpoint which brand it was in a shop just with a small whiff alone. The touch of you skin never failed to comfort him in times of distress. The soft, delicate touch of your hand on his would always bring a smile to his lips. Your taste.. He was yet to be abpe to experiance. The only one of his available senses that has yet to experience you. The rest thought you were perfect, he could only imagine that would be the same.
That is, assuming he ever decides to do anything about his feelings for you.
For now, however, this was enough for him.

↳ theodore nott x fem!reader (fluff)
↳ 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑑 𝑐𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑡 : 0.8k
𝑠𝑢𝑚𝑚𝑎𝑟𝑦 : in a moment of loneliness and feeling misunderstood, theo finds out you also speak italian
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
theodore nott didn’t enjoy crowds. he didn’t particularly enjoy loud gatherings, or the constant buzz of chatter that came with being around people all day. he preferred the quiet, a good book, an empty common room, a silent walk by the black lake. but somehow, he always ended up where people were, dragged along by his friends or because avoiding them would be too much effort.
tonight was no different. though the common room wasn’t packed, there were enough people to make it feel a little too alive. a few were studying and some others were caught up in conversation, it was too noisy for theo. his patience wore thin as he sat near the back, a book open in front of him, though he hadn’t read a single word.
across from him, you were sitting quietly with your own book. you weren’t much of a distraction, unlike the others, and that was part of why theo didn’t mind you being there. you didn’t force conversation, didn’t push for attention. you were just… there. it was calming, in a way.
but tonight the room felt too small and theo’s mood was slipping. the weight of things he didn’t say, things he didn’t know how to say, felt heavy. he let out a quiet sigh, running a hand through his hair as he closed his book, his mind spinning.
"what’s bothering you?"
your voice was soft, not pushing, just curious. theo looked up, his gaze meeting yours. he hadn’t even realized you were watching him.
"nothing," he muttered, trying to keep the facade up, though the irritation in his voice gave him away. "just tired of… all this."
you raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced. "all this?"
he gestured vaguely at the room, at the people, the noise. "everything. it’s all pointless. no one really cares about anything important. they just talk to hear themselves."
there was a pause, and theo half-expected you to drop it, to go back to your book and leave him alone. but you didn’t.
"maybe they do," you said quietly, "but it’s hard to hear it sometimes."
he looked at you, a bit surprised. your words weren’t confrontational, but there was something in your tone that made him stop. "they don’t," he muttered, leaning back in his chair, feeling the frustration build again. "it’s all surface-level. no one actually understands."
there was a moment of silence, and then you said something that made him freeze. "io ti capisco." (i understand you.)
theo blinked, staring at you in disbelief. italian. you had spoken italian. he hadn’t expected that, not from you. not here.
"what—" he began, his voice quiet. "you speak italian?"
you gave a small nod, a soft proud smile playing on your lips. "yeah. my family’s italian. we spoke it at home growing up."
theo was silent for a moment, trying to process this new information. it felt strange, hearing those words from you—words that felt like they belonged in another world, a world far removed from the one he lived in at hogwarts.
"why didn’t you ever say anything?" he asked, his voice quieter now, less guarded.
you shrugged lightly, as if it were no big deal. "you never asked."
he couldn’t help but huff a small laugh at that, running a hand through his hair again. "yeah, i guess not."
there was something in the air now, something different between the two of you. it wasn’t just the fact that you spoke italian, it was the way you had said it, the way you looked at him now. like you really understood. and for the first time in a long time, theo felt like he didn’t have to explain himself.
"parli bene," (you speak well) he said after a moment, his voice soft as he switched to italian, testing the waters.
you answered with a small smile, in a light but sincere tone “anche tu” (so do you)
and that was it. the connection had been made, something unspoken but understood between you both. it was strange, how a few words in a shared language could shift everything. the tension in theo’s chest eased, the frustration slipping away as he realized that maybe, for once, someone actually got it. got him.
"i didn’t think anyone else here would understand," theo admitted, his voice almost a whisper. “i only ever spoke it with my mother,” he added hesitantly, staring down. “so, it’s been a long time.”
you looked at him, your expression soft, understanding. "you’re not as alone as you think, theo."
he swallowed, the weight of your words hitting him harder than he expected. he hadn’t realized how much he needed to hear that—needed to know that someone, anyone, saw him. really saw him.
"thanks," he added quietly, and for the first time in what felt like forever, it wasn’t laced with sarcasm or bitterness.
you smiled at him, that same gentle smile that made the world feel a little less heavy. "anytime."
and just like that, the noise of the common room faded into the background. the two of you went back to your own books and the weight of everything else, the pressure, the expectations, the loneliness all seemed a little more bearable for theo. because he wasn’t alone.
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
