I went with butterfly wings for the fairy wings for this one, more based on the image Thumbelina has of fairies from her fairy tale book at the beginning, before meeting Cornelius

So for said butterflies that inspired me for the boys, it was

'The Notebook'

Hawkins returns to normal. The gate is closed, the monsters beaten. Everyone is moving on except for Steve. Steve feels lonely and stuck in Hawkins while everyone leaves town and get on with their lives. Steve wishes he was friends with Eddie and Billy, survivors of the Upside Down. Steve gets curious when the two are exchanging a notebook, back and forth. One day at an unattended moment in Eddie’s trailer, Steve steals a notebook and starts reading. He’s in for a ride; new friendships, playing sports, watching movies, and unraveling a secret or two.
