A happy cry of childish joy could be heard as soon as Charlotte and Joseph crossed the threshold of the house.

“Blanche!” Lottie immediately scooped her niece into her arms as soon as she crawled into the hall. “Good heavens!” How big you are now!”

“You saw her in December. It's not like she's grown to the size of a tree within a month” Joseph, mumbled, his arms crossed.

Charlotte ignored him.

Their journey home was as pleasant as a pile of molded scones.

He keept complaining that Charlotte had behaved outrageously and that she could have at least tried to spread lies about the headmaster before Christmas, because now it caused them much more problems and their time.

She just wanted him to stop talking, while wondering what to do with her life. Maybe she should become a nun? It wasn't an occupation that left much room for romance, but maybe there would be a handsome priest, like in that one book that her sister took from her very quickly…

Luckily, she wasn't thinking about that now as she greeted little Blanche. And she heard her sister's footsteps. She quickly put Blanche on the ground, getting ready for a fight.

Clara hasn't changed that much in a month. She still looked tired but maybe her pregnancy belly was a bit more visible now. And as usual when she saw her little sister, Clara's face turned irritated

“How could you do this to us Charlotte? Why are you being so ungrateful? We sent you to this school because we wanted the best for you and this is how you repay us?” Clara started.

“She was obviously looking for attention,” Joseph added, and Charlotte felt rage boiling inside her. She hated false accusations. She hated it when someone else tried to tell her why she did something. Especially since she didn't do anything.

“I didn't–” Charlotte started, but was immediately interrupted.”

“Enough” Clara said, “Go to your room. We will talk tomorrow”

I saw a post talking about how Kamala Hariss might not be pro Palistine, but at least she's better than Trump.

Let me be clear. Kamala Hariss is pro Palestine. The United States has a treaty with Isreal. For better or worse, many Americans still support it. (Though that support continues to wane) She doesn't have the authority as vice president to beak a treaty with Isreal, and she doesn't have the political capital to alienate pro Isreal voters.

But despite that, she snubbed Netanyahu when he came to Washington. She's spoken in support of pro Palestine protesters, and she has explicitly stated (multiple times) that Isreal must stop causing civilian casualties. (source)

Maybe it doesn't feel like she's doing enough, but she is pro Palestine.

And, at the end of the day, your choices are between her and a man who would send Netanyahu nukes if he asked.
