I know this doesn't seem like much to you but I know this was a huge victory for me. It was so unfair that the constant vertigo was accompanied by ravenous hunger! Being able to actually eat a sandwich was heaven!

I can’t believe after what’s felt like years of searching, I found the exact book that got me into horror as a genre. I remember reading these stories for the first time during my 4th Grade English class. I was reading Frankenstein, and I couldn’t put it down. I remember we were discussing similes and metaphors, and how to tell the difference between the two, which for me was easy and I grasped it quickly. My teacher would call on me and even though I was engrossed in this story, I could still answer whatever it was they called on me for. I also remember them being cool enough to let me continue to read without telling me to just put the book away. I actually sat at my desk through lunch to keep reading it. I felt that this was truly where my love of reading and writing took off from here. I’m not sure what happened to my own copy, but I’m thankful that I was able to find it. (The image I used was from the seller’s page on eBay-I’ll post when my copy arrives.) I can’t wait to binge all these again.
