Your Armand Duplantis sim is so gorgeous! How do you make your celebrity sims? Ofc references and sliders are key but how do you know which ones to use? Do you just play around with all of them? Thank you! <3

But oh, you asked a question, didn't you, hehe. When I see a person I'd like to recreate in Sims, firstly, I think if their face is even possible to recreate (I avoid people with hooded eyelids, it's almost impossible for me to recreate that). Then I look at the parts of the face that stand out the most. With that in my mind, I prepare base skinblend for them that I will perhaps edit later, when I will know what needs to be changed. When in CAS, I start with skin, weight, muscles, fitting hairstyle and the right hair color. I give them matching eye color (no custom contacts yet). And then I can proceed with the sculpting. Yes, I play around with all of the sliders until I like what I see. Custom sliders and makeup are a must, though. Custom eyes are true game changer. If you have a hq picture with close up of their eyes, make contacts out of them! It truly gives them the "blast of soul" effect. Also, pick a reference picture where you like their lips the most and try to recreate not only the shape but the whole "emotion" on them. Wheteverr it's a specific smirk or poutiness.

Taking a minute to appreciate the way the folks at Watcher take time to appreciate and support their LGBTQ+ fans, because... Of course they've always been great with general fan engagement via incorporating fan submissions into shows, the way they run their social media, etc... But they've kicked off pride month with an entire merch line, designed by queer artists, the proceeds of which go to support queer people... This isn't just performative "participate in pride month because it's good for business" bullshit, this is genuinely amazing. They aren't plastering rainbows on top of their content to get more engagement and brownie points from fans, they're genuinely advocating for what they believe in and actively showing support to people who really need it right now. I know my blog here is mostly bullshit / meme content, but I just want to take a moment here to say, from the bottom of my heart, thank you, to EVERYONE at Watcher. Thank you for not only creating hilarious, innovative, and wonderful content, but also for showing genuine support and love to the LGBTQ+ community. What you do means the world to so many people, and all of us Watcherinas are eternally grateful <3
