My instacart shopper noticed I added Easter cupcakes to my order, so she texted me "Happy Easter!" in the app and I was like "Happy Easter, Passover, Ramadan, and/or Saturday, depending on what you celebrate!"

so after she dropped it off and was going to her car, she called HAPPY EASTER! and then HAPPY PASSOVER! RAMADAN! and I'm yelling HAPPY EVERYTHING! and she's like HAPPY LIFE!!!

and wow, it really is a happy life sometimes, isn't it? when everyone's kind to each other. 💜

What will they eat, if you are killing crowds

Who came for flour for their wives and sons?

It's Ramadan, it's here and they're excited,

Soon you will see them praying taraweeh,

Wish they knew we cared, they're always in our minds and

We don't wanna eat suhoor if they don't have suhoor

And when we pray, we want to pray for ourselves

But when we do so – we feel terrible, feel guilty

And all our prayers are dedicated to them,

To make them have their breakfast in their homes

What do you have for suhoor, oh Palestine?

What will you have for iftar, ya Sudan?

How can you fast when you're already starving?

How can we pray for you without crying?

How can we live, as you are only suffering?

Anniversary of the fall of Königsberg. >Re image 2: POV, you just woke up. The anniversary was actually April 9th, but Tuesdays are so chaotic for me I didn't get around to posting. Now would be a good time for you to go and research the history of the city and it's destruction. The subject of Königsberg should not be used to stoke division, it is the tragic, shared legacy of many European peoples, may we hold hands and morn losses on all sides.

The two images are 37 years and 2 world wars apart, but the castle and the surviving German officer, are meant to lend permanence to the composition. This is the destruction of his home.
