At the end of each volume of the French edition of Yu-Gi-Oh!, there were fan letters/drawings. I remember that in one of these letters, a fan thought that Kisara (seen in Seto's flashback during his duel with Ishizu) looked like Shizuka, Jonouchi's little sister, and that Seto seemed to like her. Since then, this idea has never left me…

But imagine, Shizuka, the reincarnation of Kisara 😱 I don't know if I like the idea or not but it is still blowing my mind

Words can't express how much of comfort characters the DM cast is to me like these fuckers have been with me almost my ENTIRE life. No matter how much you love a new character, at the end of the day, it takes time to build up familiarity like that...it's something very few franchises can do.

Kisara's name means "the beloved one". This is a powerful subtle detail that represents the fact that I love her so so much
