In July this year I decided to make a surprise for my brother's birthday. When he was a child, his favorite cartoon of all time was The Care Bears (the OG 80's stuff). Still to this day we make Care Bears references between us and it's something that makes me remind of him very fondly. Now, all grown up, my bro is into the Cthulhu mythos, he even has a sick tattoo of Cthulhu on his forearm. Soooo... I decided to make him this:

I made him what I call "Cthulhinho Carinhoso" (something like Care Little Cthulhu in Portuguese) I had such fun planning and building this little thing! And I must say this boi is extra special 'cause guess what???

HE GLOWS IN THE FREAKING DARK!!!! I managed to buy some glow in the dark white yarn and I was eager to try it on something! I must say this was the perfect opportunity! This little bear is extra magical now. Needless to say that my bro loved it hehehe <33

augh...just realized the last time anyone gave me a "cool rock i found" type gift was a couple years ago now...

my ex qpp, who i lived with at the time, found a stick on his way home from work that was covered in like 5 different lichens and brought it home for me 🥹 i kept it in a tupperware to maintain humidity and misted it every day for like 2 weeks hdhsj it was so beautiful and such a deeply meaningful gift to me
