new post! please help me stay housed & meet my medical needs

update july 30: new post because the last one was too long.

my landlord messed up the paperwork so my lease is renewed, but the eviction hearing is still happening & i really need to move. i've been dealing with constant hostility & ableism since i moved in, to the point that i haven't even had time to go to viewings. i need to get out ASAP. she just put up a fence that blocks half the alley so i can't take my walker or wheelchair out at all & can barely even fit my body through. she's literally trapped me in my apartment. i can't walk without support & have medical appts i can't miss. i need to be able to get out in emergencies.

last month, a local org agreed to pay $299 on a pair of smartcrutches, but i still have to pay at least $230 out of pocket. it'll take a long time to get help with my landlord and i need to be able to leave the building while i look for a new place. i'd be able to squeeze them through the fence & they'd at least provide more support than a cane or standard crutches, and they don't put pressure on my hands which is really important for me.

i also couldn't get my new glasses this month because i didn't meet my goal & what disability doesn't cover will be $300 or more (i have a big head and a weird prescription & they'll only cover $76 😭).

please help me if you can!
