I think the UN (and thus the ICJ) was anti-Jew and corrupt from inception and has continued to be so (Stalin, for example, was a founding member.) I think the majority of its members are still themselves provably antisemitic (specifically anti-Jew). Its employees have been proven to have taken part in October 7th -- and were only fired. Eighty-one (81) percent of the resolutions the UN has ever passed criticizing countries are aimed at Israel. This indicates an unbelievable level of prejudice directed at no other nation, especially considering Israel is a 70-year-old nation famously historically begun (and still inhabited by) by victims of the Holocaust/refugees, AND the only democracy in the Middle East, AND where many other citizens of surrounding nations, Arab and Jew alike, flee to for refuge. To give some additional perspective: Iraq is considering lowering the marriage age (only for women, mind you!) from 15 to 9 years old. Do I hear so much as a peep from the UN? No. The Yazidi genocide? The Hindi getting massacred in Bangladesh? Nary a whisper. Hezbollah/Hamas blew apart Druze children in Israel's Golan Heights, bombing a soccer field. Crickets, except to blame Israel. Russia just bombed a shopping center in Ukraine, killing 12 Ukrainian civilians, then turns around and condemns Israel for precision targeting a "school" that had no children in it and killing only senior terrorists. Anything? Nope, just blood libel on Israel. Israel defends itself while taking unprecedented care to protect the enemy's civilians, measures that cripple its effectiveness, while held to standards that no other country on this earth has ever been before? The UN and ICC charge her with war crimes, utterly overlooking and legitimizing Hamas' actual, screamingly-obvious war crimes.

War crimes committed by bibi and the idf 100% do need to be talked about and can have posts on their own, but to have a genuine conversation, the war crimes that hamas has committed against their own people and their lack of investment into defense also needs to be part of the wider conversion.

You cannot ignore the suffering that Palestinians face from Hamas. It contributes to everything. If hamas didn't turn civilian areas into military zones by setting up bases and operations in civilian areas and safe zones, the IDF wouldn't need to attack those areas. Any deaths that result due to hamas doing that, within reasonable war tactics and operations from the IDF count as being the fault of Hamas.

Hamas also steals aid and resells it. Aid that is meant to be free, gets stolen and resold to Palestinians. Whilst I'm unsure if there has been enough food donated to ensure everyone has a full belly constantly, there sure as hell has been enough to at least prevent a famine. Yet only a portion of that aid actually gets distributed for free to Palestinian civilians. Which again, is a war crime from Hamas.

Also, there would not have been as many civilian deaths if Hamas had put money at any point towards defense for civilians. I understand an iron dome level of defense would not be realistic, but at the very least bomb shelters would have prevented so many deaths.

Hamas is the current government of Gaza. It is their responsibility to keep their citizens safe. Yes Israel is attacking Gaza, however responsibility does lie on Hamas to at least do something to keep civilians safe.

What is the difference between a freedom fighter and a terrorist? Aren’t terrorists anyone who goes against the government? I am black and what I was taught where the black panther party were terrorists because they went against the government.

Terrorists are not "anyone who goes against the government." Terrorists are, by definition, people who use violence to further their political ideology.

You cannot argue that Hamas are freedom fighters. They are, imo, in no way comparable to the Black Panthers.

Hamas hurts their own people. They oppress and subjugate their own people so that they can kill Jews, which is their express goal that they've stated in their charter (Which includes taking over the "West" btw). They excuse the deaths they cause (by starvation, by misfired rockets, by murdering those who go against their "values," and by killing those who try to evacuate from zones Israel has warned they are targeting) and say that they were "martyrs" instead of murdered civilians. They justify their deaths because it's "for a greater cause," but don't ask the civilians if they wanted to join that cause or be part of their death cult.

And no matter how much people want to deny it, which independent journalists have verified, they rape and behead people. They put infants in ovens. They take hostages and use them as leverage against the Israeli government to try to get more terrorists released from Israeli prisons.

Hamas doesn't want freedom for Palestinians. If they wanted freedom for Palestinians they wouldn't fire rockets from civilian hospitals and mosques. They wouldn't dig up water pipes to make rockets. They wouldn't kill Palestinians who are trying to flee. They would try to help the Palestinians who are in refugee camps in Jordan and Lebanon. They wouldn't steal the majority of the foreign aid that comes in. They wouldn't keep all the generators for themselves so that they can power their 300 miles of underground tunnels that they don't let civilians use as bomb shelters. They want power. They want dead Jews. That's it.

My point is that much of the criticism is at best misguided and at worst thinly veiled anti-Semitism. Hamas, like Lebanon's Hezbollah, Isis in Syria and Iraq, Nigeria's Boko Haram, Somalia's Al-Shabaab and several other groups, are fighting not for the liberty and prosperity of Muslims but, ultimately, for the annihilation of Israel and the imposition of an Islamic state. If Palestinians and other Muslims have to suffer for that aim, then so be it.

I heard a report that every day, Hamas steals at least a few aid trucks with food, and as we've seen in multiple pics, vids and testimonies from angry Gazans, the terrorists don't hesitate to use force against civilians to do so. A few days ago, a Hamas "policeman" shot and killed a young man trying to get some humanitarian aid. The young man's family was angry enough to burn tired outside a Hamas police station in the city of Rafah.

The leader of Hamas in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, published a letter to his terrorists, in which he lies about how well Hamas is doing in the war (Israel estimates that at least 8,000 of its members have been killed, and that there is no organized Hamas command in northern Gaza anymore), while promising he won't surrender.

Just a reminder, that if Hamas surrendered, the war would be over immediately, and there'd be not one more Palestinian, civilian or otherwise, killed. What Sinwar is saying, is that despite being painted by certain westerners as a Palestinian liberation movement, it refuses to save any Palestinian lives. Same goes for the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the second strongest terrorist group in Gaza after Hamas.

Sometimes, the terrorist puppets and their financial masters disagree on what false excuse to give, regarding why they jointly made sure Jews would be massacred. Iran said it was one of the responses for the assassination of Iranian military senior Soleimani (by the US, in 2020), while Hamas denied this claim, and said that the massacre was to protect the Al-Aqsa mosque... (right, 'coz Jewish babies murdered in their crib in the south, born to the most left wing, peace seeking families in Israel, were SUCH a threat to the mosque in Jerusalem. This is the same false excuse Islamists have used repeatedly, like in May 2021, going all the way back to its invention in 1929 by the Nazi collaborator Amin al-Husseini, at a time when there was no State of Israel). Apparently, even the worst of terrorists, and the biggest financiers of terrorism, don't think the west will respond well to the more truthful, "We just want to kill all Jews."

There was a blast next to the Israeli embassy in India, and now Indian news outlets report that there was a letter found nearby, which tied the attack to Israel's war against Hamas in Gaza.

Can i just say I am so sick and tired of people claiming genocide. I mean with saying Israel is committing genocide on Palestinians right now. Every time I see it I want to scream. This is one of the numerous reasons why the pro palestine movement sucks. They can't just say something is bad, focus on real grievances. Instead they have to exaggerate and claim everything is the worst possible version. They can't just say "palestinian civilians are suffering," or even "excessive civilian deaths." No. they have to claim genocide.

Five days after Britain’s Labour party won an overwhelming parliamentary majority in the general election, we can see the outline of what this is likely to mean for British Jews and their country’s relationship with Israel. That outline is not reassuring.

The new Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, is said to have purged his party of antisemitism and has persuaded many British Jews that he has made Labour safe again for Jewish voters. On Sunday morning, he told the Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas — antisemite, Holocaust denier and fan of Hitler’s wartime ally in the Middle East — that an independent state was the “undeniable right” of the Palestinian people and that “financial support for the Palestinian Authority” was one of his “immediate priorities”. 

He did not tell Abbas that a condition of this financial support was that the PA must stop paying financial rewards to terrorists and their families for murdering Israelis. Nor did he say that a condition of receiving more British taxpayers’ money was that the PA must end its indoctrination of Palestinian Arab children in Nazi-themed demonisation of the Jews, teaching them that their greatest ambition should be to murder Jews and steal all their land. 

Instead, Starmer proceeded to lecture Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin  Netanyahu, that there was a “clear and urgent” need for a ceasefire in Gaza as well as an immediate increase in the volume of humanitarian aid reaching civilians. As for the war being waged by Hezbollah in Lebanon against northern Israel, Starmer warned Netanyahu:

It was crucial all parties acted with caution.

What kind of “caution” does Starmer suggest is appropriate in the face of a threat of genocide by Hezbollah and its patron, Iran? Or to put it another way, with Hezbollah primed to unleash its armoury of 150,000 rockets and other missiles that can reach all of Israel, and with Iran itself along with Iraqi, Syrian and Houthi militias not to mention the terrorist armies of the “West Bank” all primed to attack Israel if it launches all-out war against Hezbollah, does Starmer really believe that Israel actually needs to be told to act “with caution”? 

Can he really not grasp that, given the daily onslaught over the past nine months from dozens of rockets, drones and guided missiles that have destroyed Israeli border towns, left swathes of northern Israel burning, made more than 60,000 Israelis refugees in their own country and kept other residents in the north trapped in their safe rooms (two Israelis were killed today by a Hezbollah rocket strike that hit their car) that if the Israelis abandon that “caution” it’s because they have no other choice?   

Starmer shows absolutely zero understanding that this crisis isn’t about Hamas, Hezbollah or the Palestinian Arabs. They are proxies and pawns in an Iranian war of extermination against Israel, the essential precursor to the destruction and conquest of America, Britain and the west. 

So little does he understand this that the new Foreign Secretary, David Lammy, is now poring over the government’s legal advice on whether to stop UK arms sales to Israel.

Once upon a time, Lammy was sympathetic to Israel. Now he is a foe. He has repeated what he said before the election, that Labour supports the request by the International Criminal Court prosecutor, Karim Khan, for arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Israel’s defence minister Yoav Gallant — and that if these Israelis came to the UK after such warrants were issued, Britain would arrest them.

This despite the fact that the claims upon which Khan relied were lies, distortions and blood libels drawn from Hamas-sympathising and Israel-bashing organisations, and were all demonstrably untrue.
