@ experts of Arthurian legend, i have a question

In the middle high german Parzival by Wolfram von Eschenbach (from around 1210), Gawan/Gawain is referred to as 'the Norwegian' and as being from Norway (middle high german says Norwaeger), son of King Lot of Norway

skimming the internet, it sets king Lot as a britisch monarch, and Gawain being from Orkney/Lothian

anyone knows more about this? i know very little about arthurian legend and british medieval stuff

I’m at the point where the book is getting kinda creepy. Ion mind gore and fighting. But start talking about dark tunnels and whispering in the dead of night,,, yeah nope (especially since i read in the dead of the night myself).

Not to mention the part im up to is showing some sort of evil force taking over the duke. Makes sense that the evil spirit or whatever it is needs some sort of host to see what’s happening and such. But Chaol better be careful cuz the duke was staring while he was leaving the dining hall.
