You boarded a ship that would take you to safety. And on that ship, you felt safety in the man next to you, curling up against him and listening to his heartbeat, which varied every few minutes.

“We’re going to be okay, y/n. I know we are.” Haja whispered to you and placed a kiss atop of your head. You smiled tiredly and squeezed his hand tight.

“It’s funny, you and I have spent so much time together that you couldn’t lie to me to save your life.” You dryly chuckled, just trying to keep it together yourself. “We’re okay for now. That’s all.”
