Rationing Insulin.

I have been rationing my insulin at the expense of my health because I simply do not have the funds to replace pens. As a result my blood sugar has been spiking and staying stagnant at dangerously high levels.

I do not know or want to know what possessed me to ration my medication knowing I could possibly die from it. I haven’t been in my right state of mind in a while.

Currently I am on the medication Toujeo and I am uninsured so I have to pay out of pocket. So I am utilizing GoodRx to get me the cheapest option. I would be so immensly grateful to anyone who could spare towards my medication. I am running dangerously low and I don’t want to die from DKA.

I've been thinking about Kim and Harry in their mid twenties again. Sighs

Eh, I think there’s always been pushback when Harry does something to his current look and moves forward — pushback with growing his hair long, pushback with his nail polish, pushback on the funky heeled boots, the floral suits, the funky pants, cutting his hair, the pearl necklace, the disappearance of the pearls, the mustache, going back to off-duty active wear… — but, personally, I’ve always found I’ve come around to whatever era of himself he wants to settle into and have fun with. Sure, there are going to be looks I miss, but the vision Harry has for himself always seems naturally subversive to our current idea of what’s attractive (and imo, he’s often right, and more importantly, always interesting).

This also isn’t the first time fans are howling about how they can no longer love him if he’s not the exact canvas they need him to be — people have been saying that about him since the dawn of time, with every iteration of himself that wasn’t strictly molded by Modest. So okay, if that’s what’s important to them, they can find someone else. They probably would have eventually, anyway, if that was their first priority.

Whatever Harry’s reasoning for it — an acting role, a drastic tangible change, a vacation look, a hair transplant (which to my knowledge really doesn’t need a shaved head, but if true, he seems totally okay with and confident in, seeing as he let TMZ film him at a U2 concert) — it’ll always be the least interesting and least attractive thing about him as an artist anyway.

touched up my refs for my own earth-1961 au's harry! the first few pics are the same as usual i just adjusted harry's hair colour, but i wanted to redesign harry's green goblin costume, one for when hes a sidekick to his dad and one for when he decides to switch sides and work with pete/spider man :] it's purposely not that much of a disguise because norman and harry are too rich to let having a secret identity affect them, its a whole Thing

characters being described as kind of ugly (with little explicit description otherwise) is all fun & games until you're trying to draw them. this is why froi is such a nightmare (even though he comes up most often for me) because really. whose beauty standards are we using here. given my personal beliefs in this area what i tend to aim for with him is that he's literally just a regular guy (as opposed to garg & lirah who have like. freakishly symmetrical faces & that vaguely underfed stop-staring-at-me-with-them-big-ol-eyes look) but no one else is in my head. they don't know that. so it's like well what does how i draw this character say about my thoughts subconscious or otherwise on the matter (& if i don't communicate that successfully. are there rammies). idk i think about this fairly often but not in an especially coherent maner
