This is for my Autumn Treats Request: Apple pie with hot chocolate for Sugawara Koushi (your boyfriend Suga and you do arts and crafts) (near the end) (angst to fluff) Word Count: 806 Features Daichi and Michimiya

Tears fell out of the gray sky as the crackling fire tried to calm the environment you were stuck in right now. The thought of your boyfriend fighting over you cheating when you never did.

“Hey, Sawamura-kun. I need your help.” You wave towards your best friend.

“Oh, l/n-san. What's up?” He turned to face you.

“Well, I wanted to give something for Christmas to Koushi, but I don't know what.” You twist your foot on the floor.

“Hmm… Maybe some chocolate with a little note. Or some nice socks and a sweater. He'll definitely wear it.”

You think about it and you agree.

The next day you read the note to your best friend. You thoughtfully wrote it all out so Koushi could enjoy it, but the horrible fight that erupted scared you to death.

“The stars cannot compare to the gleam in your eyes. I want your smiles and hugs to all be mine. The thought of sharing everyday with you fills my heart with light. The decorations can shine, but my love for you is even more bright.”

“Y/n! What are you doing?” Your boyfriend's voice boomed through the hall. Your eyes filled up with panic, thinking he heard the poem you wrote for him.

“Koushi-”

“Koushi nothing. You are trying to confess to Daichi! I can't believe it. You are a liar and a cheater. Why am I with you? You know what, I am done! You guys got too close. I guess that I am no longer important to you. Hope you are happy with Daichi! By the way don't come looking for me you slithering snake!” He stormed off, leaving Daichi in pure shock and you with a shattered heart.

“He no longer loves me!” You told Michimiya as you walked to your house.

“Look, umm I don't know how to handle this, but maybe call him.” She tried to help, but you teared up even more.

“What if he blocked me?” You told her.

“Worth to try?” She shrugged.You dial his number and he picked up.

“I thought I told you to not call me again, you cheating piece of trash.”

“Look, I-”

“What, you want to justify what you did earlier? There is nothing that will change my mind you big id-”

“Look, I am sorry for what I did! I didn't mean to make you think I was cheating on you. I was asking Sawamura-kun for ideas for a Christmas present for you because I didn't know what to give you, and I wanted to start early. I read him a poem to see his opinion, but you stormed off before I got the chance to tell you. Please forgive me. It's okay if you don't want anything to do with me.” Your voice cracked as you poured your heart out.You hear a silence from the other side and think to give up.

“So…” Michimiya looked at you with a gleam of hope.

“Nothing at all.” You say.

You and Michimiya say your goodbyes as she exits your front door. You look to see that Koushi stood right there with a basket filled with art supplies and scrumptious looking apple pie.

“What are you doing here?” You ask with caution.

“Look, y/n. I came here to apologize because you didn't have to do it yourself. I was being an absolute dickhead since my last relationship I got cheated on and I am still a bit scared of it happening again to me. I was dumb to assume. I should have taken it lightly since I knew you and Daichi are just best friends and you wouldn't want to take him from Michimiya since you know she has the biggest fattest crush on Daichi and he is still so oblivious to it. I hope you can forgive me.” He bowed to you, offering the basket.

“Koushi, I forgive you.” You jump into his arms with a big warm hug.

“Awe~” Michimiya hummed.

The two of you forgot that she was still standing there.

“Oops, sorry. I'll get going, bye!” She awkwardly ran away.

The two of you giggle as you enter to sit down on your sofa with the fireplace warming up your spirits.

The autumn leaves fell from the trees as you both painted in the comfort of the fire crackling in the background. The music that played along made the environment even more bright with your heart beating to it.

You look up to see your boyfriend painting a styrofoam pumpkin he bought at the store for you two to paint. The oranges and yellows blended together the way both of your personalities did very nicely.

“Koushi, I love you a ton!” You smile.

“And I do too, but even more!” He crawled to help you eat up the apple pie.

idea! daichi and suga are NOT dating (even though both of them want to), but everyone THINKS they are! so when someone mentions offhandedly that the two are dating, and it becomes clear that they are not joking and genuinely think so, it becomes very awkward!

daichi's probably thinking, like, "well now it'll be weird to ask him out because he'll think I've just been influenced by this rando and didn't come up with the idea myself and-"

and suga probably says out loud, "uh, no, daichi's dating michimiya"

which causes even MORE confusion, because no! he is not! but suga can't come up with any other explanation for why daichi hasn't asked him out yet! and daichi finally figures out that that's why suga hasn't responded to any of his awkward attempts at flirting!

kiyoyui is so fun bc their stories are kind of continuations of each other imo. michimiya starts off as this bright and fun girl who isn’t afraid to leap for what she wants, who keeps going in the face of failure, who fails anyway. meanwhile kiyoko begins as a closed-off character who gradually breaks out of her shell, who we later learned has failed before and got back up again with something new. both of their stories are about the bitter taste of defeat, but michimiya’s is about hanging on in spite of it and kiyoko’s is about moving on

anyway i think first year kiyoko who is a brand new manager and too shy to approach any of the boys vball team to ask about the sport x first year michimiya who is so fucking excited to have someone to share all her vball knowledge about, would be so cute 😭

yachi asks kiyoko how she got together with michimiya and kiyoko describes a graceful mutual closeness that developed into romantic feelings, a gentle confession on her part that was beautifully returned, and a consistent effort on both of their parts to make sure that both are confident and comfortable in their relationship

and daichi is dying of laughter in the background because he has long heard stories of how yui basically fell in love with kiyoko immediately, was a flustered mess every time they talked, almost fainted when kiyoko said she liked her and blurted out "I WANNA KISS YOU" in return, and has ever since freaked out to daichi every other week about whether kiyoko knows how beautiful and how good of a girlfriend she is
