The FABULOUS Siblings! ✨

Yet again, I have given a bit of makeover to one of my townies and created my own sim to go along with them. This time, it's Izzy Fabulous and my OC: his sister, Mo Fabulous!

...like 'more fabulous', get the pun?

I was inspired to create Mo from this news thing posted by EA themselves! I guess Izzy originated from The Sims Mobile (which I've actually tried a while ago - I didn't like it lmao), which is why it's mentioned in that post. Anyway, it's written from his POV, and he mentions having a sister named "Mo". I thought it would be pretty interesting to put a face to this character, since as far as I know, no one else has done it already. So here she is!!

Izzy's letter implies Mo lives (or in my headcanon, formerly lived) in the Fashion District in San Myshuno, and I imagine this is where she lived for some time before reuniting and moving in with her brother.

They both currently live in Del Sol Valley, by the way! Their place is actually a tad bit empty (at least that's how I think it looks), but I imagine with their creative personalities, they'll be able to spruce up every room and totally make this place their own. I've actually already redone a few rooms around their home, including adding a little 'work room' of sorts where they'd be able to show off things they've designed and bounce inspiration off one another!

Mo actually used her brother's computer to write her lifestyle reviews for her job (she's a Simfluencer) - her computer is supposed to be the one with the white chair and the cute cat succulent thing. Of course, Izzy had to show off his mock-disappointment.

As for my headcanons for these two, I see Mo as older than Izzy. He seems to really look up to her (if his letter indicates anything) and actively take her advice. She also seems quite savvy in the world of fashion design and selling what she creates, hence how she ran her own hair salon before Izzy opened his own store.

"Mo" is short for "Morgaine", by the way. It's a French name, since of course, its capital happens to be one of the 'fashion capitals' of the world. She definitely went to college in Paris and majored in some sort of fashion design.

Speaking of Mo running a hair salon, she was obviously the one who dyed her brother's hair - it's confirmed in his letter! She might appear to be a prim and somewhat haughty person outwardly, but she's really supportive of her brother. She's probably the kind of person who absolutely wouldn't have minded when he used to get into her clothes and play dolls with her when they were kids. And of course, she never hesitated to stand up for him whenever he felt self-conscious about his prematurely graying hair (check his wiki page, it's canon!). Pink/lavender is one of her favorite colors, so it was no surprise that Izzy also wanted his hair dyed like hers. I don't know if his hair color (before it went gray) was originally brown like hers, but I thought it worked best with her pink highlights.

Izzy is definitely more eccentric than his sister; he just EXUDES the same vibe as that little brother who tags along with his big sister and wants to copy her. Mo is of course more level-headed and even sometimes wonders what in the fresh heck her brother is doing with his outfit choices and other decisions. Though she figures that as long as he isn't hurting himself or anyone else, let him be him. It makes him happy, and that's all that matters.

Mo: "You're going out in that? We're going to a showcase in a museum, not a disco!"

As mentioned previously, Mo worked for some time as a hairstylist. However, there's no such career in the game unless one mods it, so I might look around for one to put in my game. For now, however, she's a Simfluencer.

I imagine Mo had to close up shop so she could properly relocate with her brother, but she still enjoys helping others feel and look their best. Thus, she does a lot of odd jobs that allows her to interact with other people. I've also started getting her to design, buy, and sell outfits on Trendi!

Yeah, one of the outfits she bought used the freaking eyeball ring unironically. She promptly relisted it for sale.

Oh yeah, and here's a prime reason the Fabulous siblings are the kind of people who prefer to create trends rather than follow them. Mo sees that the Rocker style is trending, so she creates an outfit that uses Rocker style pieces. She tries to promote it, only for it to flop. Are we implying the hype went down because Mo isn't 'conventionally attractive' or some shit? HOW DARE YOU.

On another note: as I was looking up career tracks, I noticed a Fashion Photographer freelancer career that I thought sounded interesting (imagine Mo photographing customers wearing her brother's designs!), though it comes with the Moschino Stuff Pack... which I don't have. I don't know, I guess I'm still on the fence about getting this pack just to have a new career track. Maybe I'll make a more definite decision in the long run.

Izzy, on the other hand, is still doing his canon thing as a Style Influencer. I've been making him work from home a lot, and he does a lot of checking in at different venues as of late. And of course, he often asks Mo to tag along with him so they can both hone their networking skills.

No, I don't know why Dennis Kim (I think that's him in the back?) is giving us that weird look.

Oh yeah, remember way back when I mentioned that Izzy runs his own fashion store? Well, unlike the - frankly - cash-grabby store his Sims Mobile counterpart owns, Izzy bought a little place he plans to call "Chez Fabulous" (look, I'm not very creative with names of places...)!

And of course, he recruited Mo to help run the place alongside him.

They just so happened to open their store in Mo's old stomping grounds, San Myshuno! I did try to find somewhere in Del Sol Valley at first, but I couldn't really find a good store off the gallery that fit in any of the lots...

Apart from Lilith Vatore doing whatever the heck she was doing with her vampire powers and opening the store a bit too late in the evening (they were open for six hours and ended up closing at like 1 AM), Chez Fabulous was generally successful and had a sale! (Thanks, townie with the 'broke' last name who ironically owns the most expensive lot in Del Sol Valley!!!)

I will definitely post more with these two, so maybe like and follow for more? ^_^

Hey everyone,

This is an update to my post I made recently about Dumb and Jocked’s sudden departure. If you haven’t read that, it will be over: here.

Before I begin though, something I discovered is that for some of the reblogged dumb and jocked stories with the ‘read more’, the rest of the story can be viewed in your drafts if you choose to reblog it but do not post, and also through the edit button.

Not necessarily the best way to read stories and also not all stories can be read via that way, but some are possible. So I recommend doing so and saving your favourite writer’s stories in drafts as you will never know what may happen in the future.

I am grateful to the messages and responses people have given me in light of the situation.

I generally don’t tend to talk to many people on tumblr as my stories can be rather controversial and niche, and I'm very appreciative of the support and information people have given me in light of Dumb and Jocked’s disappearance. Thank you.

As of then, there is a mention that Dumb and Jocked has written a post that he needed time off from Tumblr before he deactivated his account.

However I cannot confirm this as there were no screenshots/reblogs saved/provided, and even if Dumb and Jocked posted that, he could’ve easily reconsidered it and just closed his Tumblr himself.

While it does bring some slight hope, there’s no guarantee he would ever return.

However there’s good news regarding archives for Dumb and jocked’s stories. Which Im grateful for the Tumblr community taking steps to reblog/like/save the posts via different means.

Special shoutout to both @imsrtman and @user211201, who have posted several of Dumb and Jocked’s stories, on Tumblr and their blogspot.

@user211201 has saved multiple of Dumb and Jocked stories, including the Protocol one which had been gone a while back even before Dumb and Jocked left tumblr. I also reblogged his re-post on Branded on my tumblr account, as it’s one of the stories where you cannot access it via editing it in your drafts.

He also continued to post more of his stories and has a list of them on his tumblr post over: Here.

Do check the other pinned post on his tumblr page for the table of contents as for what stories he has already posted too.

@imsrtman has managed to archive most of dumb and jocked stories, including making the effort to put the Tumbex links of Dumb and Jocked’s stories into an excel sheet, and most importantly archiving them before they got removed on Tumbex.

I cannot express how thankful I am to him as I thought I had missed my chance in saving the stories on Tumbex due to my exhaustion. Thanks to him Im able to save both Breeding Grounds stories.

He also a blogspot consisting of various of Dumb and Jocked’s stories and he is planning to add more of Dumb and Jocked’s stories in the future. You can find the link to his blogspot post over: here. Jouno's "Death" and Characterization

Actually I'm adding onto my thoughts about Jouno's death scene because it really is brutal, even compared to the earlier "deaths" of the arc.

I binge-read the manga very quickly on my first read, and so I think there was a lot that I kind of overlooked, especially when it came to Jouno and his characterization. I found the guy interesting, but I wasn't as invested in his character as I was with some of the others.

But even then, his death shocked me with how... cruel it was. And going back and really paying close attention to his character, it hurts a lot more.

Besides, you even said it, that you initially recruited me for the sake of this day." His smile looks a little tight. End ID.]

Looking at Jouno's face here... I'd honestly say he's a bit hurt by this turn of events. He has a very similar background to Dazai. This is the equivalent of Dazai being told that he was only hired by the Agency because they actually wanted him to take up the mantle of the Demon Prodigy again, but this time for their benefit. Because that's his true nature, right?

Jouno was only recruited... because he was never believed in. He was Fukuchi's little criminal pet project, one that didn't go as he intended at all - and Jouno dies for it, only shortly after he starts to get accustomed to the idea of himself as a good guy (even if he's still... morally ambiguous, to be diplomatic about it lol).

But yeah, let's take a second and look at Jouno's particular brand of cruelty - that sadistic streak where he wants to hear the suffering of others... and how easily this was overshadowed by one old woman's quiet gratitude. Fukuchi remembers the beginning of this scene... but he's left unaware of the aftermath of it and how Jouno changed (fitting, for the man forever caught up in the war; who still lives like he's on the battlefield). Jouno is largely self-preservative - it seems likely that, given his criminal background, you stayed alive by asserting your power over others, and Jouno does this by striking fear into others and deriving pleasure in that reaction - but it pales in comparison to appreciation, which Jouno states makes the sounds of fear like silence. The old lady is such a small thing really, but it apparently left a huge impact on him.

I think it's quite a decision made to characterize a guy who is hyper-sensitive to sensory input as being strongly affected by the kind of reactions he gets from others. Jouno compensates with fear and intimidation, but he actually wants to be appreciated. Whether Jouno genuinely cares about justice as an ideal is up for debate still, I believe, but we can be positive he likes being liked far more than he likes being feared. So, while Jouno thought he was appreciated for his pursuit of justice under Fukuchi, and had come to the realization that he prefers helping over harming - his role with the Hunting Dogs was always a cage. Jouno was likely essentially drafted - he joins or he is probably sentenced to capital punishment. Obviously, he takes the offer - as Jouno does not want to die (again, remember he's self-preservative!). Now he's stuck as a Hunting Dog due to the intense monthly surgeries to maintain their bodies, but he's made a pretty sweet life for himself - Jouno is powerful, respected, feared, and he basically gets to act however he wants so long as he is ostensibly pursuing justice (a corrupt cop, really)... only for him to realize he actually does want to help more than hurt, and to then have it be revealed that he was never expected to change for the better from the very beginning.

He was drafted due to this expectation Fukuchi had for him, and when he did not live up to this expectation... his exits are blocked, he's set on fire to stop him escaping, then stabbed from all directions, like one would trap and corner a threat that needs to be contained, or a wild animal. There's... some pretty significant dehumanization to that.

It gets worse though, because Fukuchi is right about Jouno being different from the other Hunting Dogs, but he's off the mark on what's different about him exactly. The difference is largely in that even though Jouno took precautions in case he couldn't make it out (having Aya follow him), he is not devoted (or solely devoted) to that ideal of justice that drives the rest of the Hunting Dogs, nor was he at all intending to sacrifice himself or accepting of that fate.

"Be strong... there's nothing to worry about/Don't panic, it's all fine" <-The words of a man who is very much trying not to panic (also Yuki Kaji did a great job in this scene - chefs kiss. The voice acting in the anime is so so good). Jouno's mental narration grows increasingly more desperate in his attempts to escape, even as he outwardly continues that show of pride and bravado, concluding with his "wish" to hear Fukuchi's later suffering - which is what he does to avoid letting others see vulnerability in him.

All the other people who died to Fukuchi had some kind of acceptance around it - Akutagawa sacrificed himself to allow Atsushi to escape and was accepting of that; Tachihara had no intention of a sacrifice play but was prepared to die rather than be turned by Bram, and found his resolve through a mix of the Mafia's and Teruko's influence. Jouno was not ready to die at any point in this fight, nor was that ever his intent.

About Jouno's dynamic with Tecchou: I find it really interesting that the closing and opening lines of the chapter where Jouno slashes at Fukuchi and "betrays" him are things like "at heart there is one intent" and "if there is evil, cleave it" - while they're really just the external hooks for the audience, not any character's thoughts or anything, I do find it intriguing that this sounds a lot more like Tecchou's philosophy than anything we'd seen of Jouno up to this point. In this way, I think Tecchou (and Teruko as well!) has had far more of an influence on Jouno than even he cares to admit.

And I think it's really good that Tecchou appears to be there for Jouno - he's got conviction in his capacity for justice as strong as a samurai and the ability to call him out and believe in him like that of a best friend. While Jouno's death is brutal, it actually validates Tecchou's belief in him - but this is not something anyone else really seems to see in Jouno, perhaps even Jouno himself until that moment. It recontextualizes their interactions: Jouno is the challenger. Tecchou just seems to kind of humour him, really. He doesn't treat Jouno like a threat or an obstacle. He's completely unafraid of him, either simply not reacting to his goads and threats, or calling him out on his bs when he takes his cruelty too far. It's like Tecchou's socializing a feral cat sometimes hjfhdbjvh

But remember that Jouno's grandstanding and desire to instill fear is likely self-preservative. Jouno sees Tecchou unafraid of him and goes "why is it not working??? He must think he's stronger or better than me, or else, he's just really stupid. I need to prove myself stronger than him so he doesn't think he can gain the upper hand on me." And meanwhile, Tecchou is just like "ok buddy let's go get some lunch. I like spending time with Jouno even though he's apparently mad at me for something idk what." Because Tecchou's lack of fear isn't actually because he's cocky or an idiot, or because he doubts Jouno's skill or strength - far from it. He knows full well how dangerous Jouno is. He just thinks "Jouno wouldn't do that". And it's that simple to him. I honestly believe Jouno hasn't quite figured that part out yet, and that he's reading his dynamic with Tecchou entirely wrong on his end. It's the epitome of that rival dynamic where one takes it super seriously and the other is just like "cool man anyways wanna hang out". Anyways I really hope their reunion is given some attention, when it happens.

You might've noticed I said "when it happens" and also that I put death in quotes at the top there - I actually have a question for all of you since I just thought of this on my re-read. Jouno was stabbed multiple times but since he's a Hunting Dog with advanced healing and enhancements I sincerely doubt that actually killed him. Then he was bitten... but the vampires seem to turn really quickly, and we see Jouno's thoughts for a while afterwards. Jouno didn't actually die in that scene, as it's stated he's "near death", and he's captured and taken somewhere by Akutagawa. It's highly likely he was just turned into a vampire, as he was bitten (perhaps his enhancements make the vampire ability take longer to get a hold), but I'm kind of wondering now if he wasn't "taken with them" for some other purpose and Fukuchi has him captured or comatose or something. Well, whatever happens... I hope he comes back to the manga at some point soon (though probably at this arc's conclusion if I'm being honest).

It had been six continuous months without seeing your Bradley in real life. The scent of his cologne and musk had disappeared from your bed and his pillow, causing you to go after anything that has reminded you of him. Whenever you were invited to visit him in Top Gun after they were given a three-week break after a joyous win, you decided to immediately take it.

Deciding to not tell Bradley had killed you, as you watched him through the FaceTime call as he slept in a lonely house by himself. You told him your phone was getting repairs to cover up your five hour flight to where he was drafted, it worked surprisingly well. The flight was long, but your discount with it has given you First-Class seats with many helps from flight attendants to try and help your experiences.

When you landed in hot and humid, San Diego you were almost immediately dehydrated. You had called Penny and Maverick to pick you up from the airport, begging to keep everything a secret. Surprisingly, they kept it quiet and Pete told you he had told them he was taking Penny on a date tonight. The nerves were messing with your head as you mess with the hem of your (Bradley’s) Hawaiian shirt. It was a light and soft pink color, and you swore it looked better on him than it did you. Bradley would disagree, saying it was his favorite shirt you had worn.

“Hot as hell here, jeez.” You joke flapping a piece of paper against your face to try and cool yourself down. Even with the extreme cold air blasting on your face, sweat had still dripped from you. You couldn't tell if it was the nerves in your head about seeing Bradley, or the heat. If you had to assume it had probably been both electives. “I know. Bradley pretty much is shirtless half of the time. I’m tired of it.” Amy says next to you, tapping on her phone.

You laugh as you think of Bradley, who is extremely typical to get naked when it's over 95 degrees outside. You decided to call Jessica, Hangman's long-term girlfriend who had also decided to surprise her big hunk of man on the same day as you. She told you how the pilots were meeting at The Hard Deck and how most of the Navy wives were doing the same. You agreed with her and told Penny and Maverick to take you there for him.

Suddenly it all started to hit you: You would see Bradley in under three minutes after months of missing, crying, and taking screenshots of him on the phone. Maverick pulls into the sandy deck of the bar and parks the car. He looks in the mirror and looks at you. “You ready, kid?” He asks and you nod, opening the door and following after the older woman who had already been walking in. The bar wasn't that crowded, only having pilots and other people that had gotten off of work earlier. It was five o'clock when you landed, so now it was six.

The bar is playing some eighties hits loudly, some rowdy people dancing around with drinks in their hands. You touch yourself up in your phone camera, take a big breath in, and start walking into the back corner of the bar where the pilots stayed. That's whenever you saw Bradley, whooping and hollering about winning the 8-ball game with Phoenix and Bob. Jake and Jessica are rubbing up against each other, kissing and hugging on every second, looking like high school couples in the hallways.

You walk up behind Bradley and when he bends over to hit a ball, you slam up behind and put your hands in the front pockets of his 1980s Levi's jeans. “Wanna teach me how to play?” You tease and Bradley jumps up and wraps you in his arms. His hand goes to the back of your neck and he practically jumps while practically screaming your name in pure and utter excitement at your presence.

“You didn't tell me you were coming!” He pulls away for a second to look at your face, before pulling you back in and wrapping harder around your body. The feeling envelopes you tightly and you feel the need to melt in his arms. “It's a surprise, dummy. Are you surprised?” You ask and now he's nodding quickly before he drops you down and kisses you harshly. His lips are running across you as he pulls you into a bench in the other corner.

“Am I surprised? Of course!” He says sassily at you and brings you back into a deep kiss, his hand messing with the hem of your Hawaiian shirt and the other against your neck as he holds you up in the kiss with him. He's warm and touchy throughout the sweet moment and he takes like a Cranberry Vodka. “Love you, so much.”

“Awh, I love you too honey.” Your hand runs through his fluffy hair that's been lightened from hours of sun, and you stare at this tan skin with freckles littering against his cheeks and nose. His fingers mess with the rips on your shorts and he kisses against your cheek. “God, I missed you so much.” Jessica waves at you and giggles as Jake kisses her away from attention. You laugh at his antics before Bradley pulls your chin and kisses you once more, and you stare into his deep green eyes.

“Thank you for visiting, so much.” Bradley speaks softly in your ear. “Always, and forever when I can.”

Yeah… I was hoping to be able to finish this last month, but, here it is.

Update 17 has been released! More than 30k worth of update, again, mostly continuing the Chapter 2 Part of the Archangel Route. There is no new content for the FBI route, or any of the hangouts.

Over 30k worth of new content. I'm sorry I've been so busy lately with quite a bunch of real life stuff happening, some good, some bad. I've been taking care of myself more often and letting my body and mind rest when I need it.

I've had people who are incredibly helpful in teaching me how to take better care of myself, and I am forever grateful of my Patreon and all the support everyone there has given me, most of them I feel it's undeserved but I know I'll do my best to work for it. I honestly would not be able to continue writing without it.

The update consists of a few romance scenes in the Archangel route for all the ROs as well as a new romance initiation for Michael. It also pushes the chapter into Day 2, moving the previous ending forward as well as adding a bit more to end off the chapter. There is currently no new content for the FBI route… That will be coming in the next update.

Thank you all for the support and patience you've given me, and thank you for those who've helped me with the bug fixing and reports!

Heyo! Here I am with the poll winner from last week (and a few more days)! It's Sonadow hours (Arthlot? I don't know their ship name, but it's King Arthur/Lancelot)

This fic is older than all of my other sonic fics. I am not kidding; I've had this draft lying around in my backlog for so long that I have screenshots of its layout and how I was supposed to present this on AO3. The date is September 2023, but my document files say December 2022. Since I usually type fics together in one document before deciding it can have its own document, so it is even older than that. This was supposed to be up ages ago, but I never found the courage and got swept away by the excitement of Sonic Prime. Even though I call myself a recent Sonic fan, that's not true. I grew up with Sonic X and read Sonic fan fiction on Fanfiction.net. (Oh, where has the time gone.)

Bit of a trigger warning for incest and statutory rape. As in mentioned, nothing is talked about graphically.

Now, while I am very particular about using canon as a guideline and knowing the source material like the back of my hand, this is one of my works where I will not do that. A lot of fucked up shit happens in the original compiled story of L' Morte d'Arthur (The Death of King Arthur). I will explain further in the ending notes of the fic, but for one, Arthur is aged up to 19 years old. As in the original legends, he is just called young, which is very vague. He is rewarded sex by a tavern woman for winning the battle, but it is implied she is much older than him. His age is unknown, but an opposing king calls him a beardless boy playing at being a king, and while there are plenty of men who grow a beard well into their adulthood or never, the implication of Arthur's youth and inexperience with life makes me deeply uneasy. So obviously, none of that shit is in here. Canon or not, fanfiction is here to have fun, and I won't write what makes my skin crawl.

I put this on the poll, not knowing if people would want to read this. But seeing as the poll was held on Tumblr, I should not have been surprised that it won by a landslide. I had forgotten how popular this niche ship is within the Sonadow community. And hey, I'm not complaining! I'm all too happy to share this. I read Sonadow since I was a teen, and Lansoni was a guilty pleasure of mine. I am all too happy to add to the collection! Although it is not really Lansoni as it is Sonic as King Arthur, and not actually Sonic being isikai-ed.

I am probably going to go on a SATBK binge after this. It is so weirdly nostalgic for me.

About this blog:

I really, honest to gods, did not start this blog to be an anti. I know my anons would disagree with me and claim I always “hated” Danneel, but that just isn’t the truth. I came to Tumblr to find a new kind of social media as I was feeling soured by Facebook, disliked how Twitter had changed, escaped Livejournal years ago, not a fan of Reddit, and the “newer” social media sites weren’t my thing. Plus I’ve kept seeing hilarious screenshots from Tumblr on Facebook and decided to check it out!

I initially started by following pages about Supernatural, Sam and Dean Winchester, the actors Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles. I did not go seeking anti-Danneel posts; they more or less fell into my lap. When I started reading a few posts, something clicked in my mind, explained why I was struggling with how I felt about her. I kept analyzing her behavior for a long while, what she said, and thought maybe something was being seen by fans that wasn’t being seen by me.

The explanations made sense. I felt I could breathe again. That’s when I remembered the least recognized method of abuse: emotional and mental. That fit Danneel to a T. Especially the more I looked into what she’s said and wrote over the years and saw how Jensen behaved around her in videos and photos. Even when they were supposedly trying to push the “happy couple” narrative, it just did not look true. Especially given Jensen’s talent as an actor! If he couldn’t even fake being happy or in love with her….

So I’m an Anti-Danneel. I’m also Anti-Misha for his behavior over the years, towards Jared, towards Jensen, the lies he’s peddled and keeps peddling. (For instance, no, Castiel would not have ‘fucked’ Dean upon pulling him out of Hell. No, CW was not being homophobic.)

I am absolutely very pro-Jared and pro-Jensen. I know, I know…. “But Raye, you’ve written posts criticizing Jensen! How can you be pro-Jensen??”

My answer is a variation of this: “Because I care! I am not blind to the flaws of either men! I am wildly concerned about Jensen, about what seems—to me—as excessive drinking, ‘empty’ eyes, unhappy and stressed smiles.”

For the vast majority of the AAs, it seems I’m not pro-Jensen if I don’t see him as flawless, a god upon the perfect pedestal, the Ken doll That breaks my heart. He is flawed. He is imperfect. I see more than just the pretty mask. I want to see and know the man. He isn’t just a beautiful trophy for us to ogle.

He’s caught in a rock and a hard place and I acknowledge that hard. It’s just only the negativity is seen and not the love and support. 😕

What can I tell you about me?

I could say so much. I’m the third child of a family of four kids, and the only daughter. (So that was fun.) I’m a gamer, read comics (still read a few, such as ElfQuest), got into reading fantasy books (Dragonlance’s War of the Lance was my first!), have a massive interest in psychology, in wanting to understand the human mind. I’m fluent in two languages—English and American Sign Language.

Ah, that last one might surprise some folks. No, I am not deaf—but my parents, two of my three brothers, and everyone on my mother’s side of the family are. I half-joke that my first language is ASL, not speaking with a voice. It’s not a joke though; it’s more or less accurate.

I’m a writer. I’m working on several screenplays, have plans for novels, dabble in poetry. I’m an amateur artist—have sketched with pencil and Photoshop. I haven’t done so in a while, but I love art. I do a lot under the creative umbrella, and most of it is as an amateur—photography, wishing to learn pottery, and so forth.

I’m a mother. I’m divorced (happily so, trust me). I have born children of my body and I have children of my heart. I have suffered loss deeply profound that I wish people would talk more about so we all realize we aren’t as alone as we fear.

I’m an advocate for better, stronger laws against abuse, of the protection and services for survivors. Largely because I’m a survivor, but also because I give a damn about people. I’ve experienced it all, starting from childhood to my (thankfully) now-ex-husband. I am hoping to start a series of reels explaining the red flags of abuse, how to recognize them, how to get out if you are in an abusive situation, and what organizations exist to contact for help (if any do exist). Keep an eye out for those when I start posting them!

I am really glad that I am not the only one seeing Wonderhole for what it actually is.

How many of us are there? How many people are really seeing the obvious the hidden layers of meaning in it? How many understand it for what it's truly meant to be?

I want to talk about episode 2 in the specific.

Episode 2 as a concept captures the essence of what I personally always thought was the whole point of putting hidden stories in scripted content for them.

(with hidden stories I am referring, of course, to the secret romance focused overarching narratives infused in the scripted content that came out before Wonderhole).

I always thought that the purpose was an artistic and ceremonial expression of something that was important to them but they couldn't show the world explicitly.

Something that had intrinsic value simply because they had created it together, to celebrate their love and creaivity even if it's true meaning remained buried and undiscovered for years and years, possibly forever.

Like in the episode, by making Wonderhole and previous scripted videos, they built a treasure hunt with clues and that led to ... no real final reward.

There is no reward for them or (anyone) at the end for deciphering the clues, finding the metaphorical treasure chest and opening it.

Like in the episode, the treasure chest is empty, and nothing comes out of it, because the treasure and inherent value, is in the treasure hunt itself and the experience that they have created for themselves (and us). Which they allude to when they talk about the reason for not putting anything in there.

It's interesting to note that even Rhett and Link, themselves have to keep that in mind not to get to saddened and disappointed by it. It's about the journey rather than the destination.

There clearly is one big reward though, even if some might say it's a bittersweet ending.

By doing all of this, they have become timeless.

(The picture of them that is placed on the box at the very end is taken by that background character while talking about Rhett and Link being timeless for a reason).

Because there is something that does end up in that box, and it's the real reward. In fiction their combined essences/ minds (a symbol for their thoughts, feelings and creativity) are resting in that box together, fused, and unlike their bodies they will never age and continue living forever. That's their reward. They are "timeless", and they have become timeless together. By choice, and there is nothing more romantic than that. And this is a great metaphor for what is happening irl as a result of them making all of this and putting it into the world.

It's even more powerful than "Unitl death do us part". Because like in the episode, not even after death, they will ever truly be apart. Their love is timeless. Preserved in this time capsule they have created and put on the internet (I'm talking about Wonderhole and their creative projects). They have become timeless together by making art that celebrates their love and they are aware of it. It's really poetic and I wish people knew about this!

And wow, like we say in my country, you're gonna live many years because I was just about to post my next Wonderhole analysis within the next few hours, so my detailed take will be there! I am adding a screenshot of my draft here just so one won't think I am bullshiting and taking other people's ideas

Of course we are very close, maybe not a 100% match because I am always on the look out for specific One Story parallels, however your interpretation is either partly or completely what Rhett and Link must have conceptualized. It does not make sense any other way.

Feel free to ignore this, but I love reading your analysis and was wondering how you start analyzing things? I try to do it myself but I always feel so unconfident in my interpretations and feel scared about posting about them and them being “wrong.”

Ooh, what a good question! I'm happy to share a little, sure.

So my first (and probably the most important) response to this is: it's hard to feel 100% sure that you are totally "correct" about this stuff.

There are always going to be other ways to interpret things. There are things you miss, or perspectives you don't consider. There will always be people who disagree. And even if you are as accurate and totally convincing as humanly possible, there always going to be different types of analysis that you can't cover all at the same time!

I think, especially when it comes to like, doing casual analysis for something you love, it really helps to just follow your passion. It's fine to speak confidently about an interpretation that you find compelling, even if you haven't considered every possible angle of how it could be wrong. It's about what speaks to you, after all.

For instance, the conflict-avoidant Falin post (which is currently the analysis post of mine with the most notes) was largely born from an interpretation of Falin that really resonated with me, based on a couple of points I remembered strongly from reading the story. It's definitely not the only way to look at Falin, and I don't think it's like the universally correct interpretation of her character. But it is the interpretation that got ME interested in talking about her, and in turn, resonated with other people, too!

I have plenty of anxiety about this stuff, so I won't pretend that it's just easy to turn off that "what if I'm wrong, though" part of your brain, but I will say it doesn't hurt to try to start writing. You can always draft a post and come back to it, or delete/private it, or reblog it later to add more context or nuance. You aren't shackled to your opinion forever, much as the internet (and anxiety) can make it feel that way.

As to where to actually start with analysis... for me, it's almost always either a detail, a question, or both.

Here's an example of an Idea In Progress I've been thinking about.

While I was grabbing screenshots from the Nightmare chapter, I noticed that Marcille's hairstyle there is similar to one of the chapter covers I'd also just looked at:

So like, that's interesting to me! Especially since the cover was from the chapter where Marcille makes her deal with the Winged Lion. So then I can start to ask like... what does it mean that there's this similarity? I could tie it in to the way I think the Lion kind of infantilizes her, talk about what influence the Nightmare chapter might have had on Marcilles decision. Alternatively, I could ask, are there any other similar times Marcille wears this hairstyle? Any other hairstyles that are repeated at key times?

Any of which could lead to some fun analysis! Alternatively, it can also just be fun to post about the detail without the analysis. Just be like, "hey, look at this weird thing." Other people might chime in with ideas about it, or maybe it will sparks something for you later! Either way, you'll have an easy reference saved for reference. Even if deeper analysis doesn't come, it's still fun to have pointed out. Details and connections are just. They are just great. And Dunmeshi especially has SO much to dig into.

(Oh, also, quick aside here: ignore anyone who tells you the details don't matter and weren't intentional. It fully does not matter. If drawing a connection helps you realize a new meaning in the story - if it inspires and motivates you - it's worth investigating.)

Anyway, the Adventurer's Bible is also a great place to find details to jump off of. The timelines and little blurbs highlight important events or facts about the characters, and you can then go fishing for other times those things come up or are referenced in the story.

In terms of starting from a question, it can also be fun just to spend a little time with something you don't feel like you totally got. I had a great time doing that with the succubus chapter, for instance. If there's a scene you find yourself kind of skimming over because its not clicking for you... go back and try and examine it! Even if it's just a small thing - an expression you missed or a panel with a funny little joke - it can be just as rewarding to try and pay attention to the parts of the story you don't understand as it is to dig into the parts you do.

Really, in a lot of ways, I like to use analysis as an excuse to just spend time with a story I care about. It's a way to savor it! And if you can write up those thoughts and ideas, you can share them with others, which can be even better. A dish doesn't have to be perfectly cooked to delicious, after all. Go, with Senshi's blessing, and make good food.

I just want it on the record that no, I'm not Nox, and the suggestion that I am is pretty silly. I'm not going to make a whole fake pro-endo blog that just says things I could say on my own blog.

That's ridiculous. There's no value in it for me.

I would, however, make a fake anti-endo blog that walks the edge of parody that nobody can tell if it's actually satire or not and attach a clever name to it that references a famous double agent who infiltrated the Nazis. That's much more my style.

I also did not send anons to Nox or the author of the "Sophie is dangerous" document to instigate a fight between them.

This allegation is at least less stupid though. I wouldn't ever drag an ally into drama. But I might instigate fights between different anti-endos. I also might bait anti-endos into saying stupid things with anons.

But even at that, if I did something like this, I would want it to be something I could screenshot and use for content if anything came of it, like I did with Infernal.

There just isn't any use in doing this with an account that has me blocked because I don't like screenshotting them.

I always intended for my response to the doc to be 5 parts, so when the author of the doc was involved in drama again, I decided it was time to finish the fourth part that had been stuck in my drafts forever because it was suddenly topical. Strike while the iron is hot.

There's no grand conspiracy to wage a war against the author through sockpuppets or hiding on anon. While their paranoia has been fun to watch (NGL) it's totally baseless and divorced from reality.

Also, for the love of the gods, don't harass the author. Using their personal trauma against them as one anon did was gross.

And if anyone is harassing them in my name, stop. Understand that I can fight my own battles, and resorting to these sorts of barbaric tactics in my in my name is insulting to me.

Having said that, there will be a fifth part. I don't know when but it will be written and posted at some point. The author has repeatedly and cruelly come after not just me but anyone even vaguely associated with me.

They make themselves out as a victim and accuse others of block evasion and harassment. Meanwhile, they constantly talk shit about these blogs they have blocked by name, have posted direct hyperlinks to those blogs, and have their document about me which links to my posts in their pinned.

They are using the block feature not to shield themselves from harassment but to facilitate it and spread targeted hate against specific individuals.

They have ascended to the highest form of hypocrisy.

And so their punishment, if they stumble upon this post despite having me blocked, is to know.

To know that I have one more post to make on their callout doc. And to not know when it will come. Will it be tomorrow? A week from now? A month? Three? Who can say? 🤷‍♀️

Will it ruin a good day? Will it make a bad day worse?

Won't it be exciting to find out?!

Of course if they don't see this, if they aren't watching my blog, they'll be spared from the dread and anxiety of the knowing.

The days - process

I lost some screenshots along the way, but I compiled a few ones that can at least show a partial amount of the process!

In the first sketch draft, I made the character much smaller, but scaled up the sketch part of the more detailed one. He was so tiny so that he would've been barely visible if I had gone with the original idea for it. So the trees look really small in this image because of that.

I apologize to my brother and friends who had to listen to me angrily mumbling about trees. I took forever to figure out a non-strange shape that would keep the circular motion.

I was also incredibly frustrated as I really wanted the cloud on the top to form a circle... but with the size of the trees and Liam, that wasn't possible.

At first I had planned to make the attention grabbing circle, where Liam is standing, a clear sky.

Honestly, the trees and original idea not working out, was definitely for the better in the end. Because I ended up loving the drawn cloudy sundown.

But gosh I spent a solid three hours on drawing the clouds alone.

Once I was done colouring the top of the image, I could finally start on the bottom half. I left that part untouched as I wanted the reflection to be visible on the guitar, it was the part I was the most excited about when planning this out.

Until I actually made a reflection on the guitar, only to see that it wasn't that visible in the first place.

(I loved the red on the guitar, but it took too much attention from Liam who was meant to be the focus.)

There were a few failed attempts at making the grass; before I reached this look:

Focus on the bright center with a dark figure in the middle, having a strong attention grabbing contrast.

The throat of a guitar imitating the shape and colour of a walked down dirt path in the forest.

This was made with the mind of my new TTRPG player group, there will be a story behind this picture for them. For now, a poster for their campaign that they will eventually play in.

I wish I could write out some small secrets that are hidden in this drawing, but those secrets are not meant to be revealed to my players until the end of their campaign. So I cannot write about those cool details in case a player of mine ever looks at this blog.

But maybe I'll remember to repost this in the future to tell about all the secrets for why this looks the way it looks!

Here is with the title of the campaign for those players.

I really really hope that my players will enjoy this, and I an hopeful that they will love it more when I get to explain the secrets hidden in this poster for them.
