Nice!#Lan flirting is offering to organize events. “Please...let me open up my planner...do you want to create a shared google calendar with me?”#“Oh...we will have to spend so many nights at a desk working out logistics. Do you want to see how good I can balance these accounts?”#Lan events probably have the best 'stayed within budget' reputation of all the clans.#What I mean to say is...Where are the Lan Wedding planner AUs? Actually scrap that: ALL the sects as rival wedding planners.#The Jins would do high end clients with huge budgets. Lans do traditional style weddings. Yunmeng Jiang promises fun and colour.#Sit with my vision for a moment. I'm going to move on to another topic but don't *not* marinate on that idea.#Pour one out for Lan Wangji. #fnaf eclipse #fnaf dca #dca fandom #crab art #traditional art #bright colours #fear factor au #fear factor eclipse #all i need is a pretty househusband to come home to #is that so much to ask?#my headcanon for this AU is that Eclipse just collects frilly aprons #every time y/n comes home he's wearing a different one #i'm both happy and frustrated with this one #happy - because i'm glad i finished it and it looks nice #also i feel accomplished since it's the most ambitious illustration i've done during this exercise to get out of artblock #but also frustrated with some small things #most of it is chalked up to me not planning things head of time #namely the door #that's why the perspective is off and the colours aren't great #for some reason my focus was on the handsome apron-clad robot instead of the door no idea why #also this illustration also taught me a lot about this new lineart style i've been using #it needs more careful planning if it's going to be used as part of a larger illustration #the gradients help suggest some lighting and shading #but if it's going to be used in an illustration with a background then it needs to adjust to the lighting of the background #my previous drawings had simple shapes as a background so it didn't matter as much #but here the open doorway suggests light coming from behind Eclipse #so there are dark parts of the lineart that should be lighter #all in all i need to do more planning #but besides that this was really fun #love how chunky his pants and sleeves came out

not enough discussion about the gavins' complicated relationship with feminine-coded/beauty products, i don't think.

#for klavier because it's not as direct it's about how we never see him actually wearing lipstick? even though apollo literally attends #a concert of his which is where you'd most expect him to wear makeup. but apparently he just doesnt. or at least not in public #klavier gavin #kristoph gavin #i feel like there are several ways you can read into it. the misogyny/toxic masculinity one is really obvious clearly with kristoph's #singling out of men specifically and klavier's (probably accidental?) condescending manner of calling women 'fraulein' plus his general #mildly patronising attitude towards many of the women in the game (also probably unintentional)#(i think he's trying to be charming and it's coming off wrong to some of them. like ema. and me.)#but i feel like there's also maybe an element of... inherent perfecfionism to it? like both of these products are conventionally beautifyin #products and kristoph while he is open to showing people he uses nail polish specifically chooses one that's clear and missable unless you #see him apply it. he also feels the need to justify his use of it and specifically spell it out as something he chooses to do rather than #needs to do even though duh. that should be obvious.#idk there's just something about his seeming need to take control of that narrative that i find interesting. his need to spin it into a #'there's nothing wrong with my nails but I had the foresight to see that even the smallest parts of my appearance should be kept immaculate #and it's a choice i'm making to refine an already adequate part of my personage /not/ to cover some unsightly defect.' the need to emphasis #that specifically is so. hm. and with klavier i could see it being a case of him liking makeup liking the pops of colour yet being unwillin #to admit to it because he's afraid that other people might see it as him being dissatisfied with his own appearance regardless of if he is #or isn't. or even just perceiving colourful makeup as being unseemly because it's so overt and unnatural.#like i can see this as them both viewing 'real' beauty to be that which is inherent to a person and seemingly effortless #thus somehow negating the beauty which one achieves through cosmetics or other external means.#and if you want to use external means to achieve beauty or neatness or whatever then your only valid options are those which blend into you #natural state. like clear nail polish. or really awful spray tan.#i feel like klavier's less confined by these ideas (if they hold merit at all) considering he actually owns coloured lipstick and he wears #jewellery (admittedly quite 'masculine' jewellery no gems or pearls or anything like that but jewellery nonetheless) but i think it just #makes it more interesting that he doesnt seem quite able to cross the line anyway. like it's that ingrained into his system.#anyway that's all i've got. you guys should tell me what you think too #annotations

surprise, you get all of them:

Moondrop: Corey Wilder’s Moon voice is the closest I can describe it (very close to the canon voice but not as guttural and with less pitch fluctuations. This is not the gremlin Moon doing cartwheels and somersaults, this Moon works a 9 to 5.)

Moonie: None, he is mute (at most, i imagine him and chibi Sunny to make those anime creature noises when they hop around stuff.)

Mooncake: Nick Pitera (a lover of fairy tales and romance, he has the voice of a Broadway lead. When he was a daycare attendant, he enjoyed singing showtunes with the kids, singing the parts for the hero, the princess, the sidekick, and even the villain.)

Lune: HWASA (but wait... isn't this Echo's voice?—a breathy, sultry voice that once belted harmonies and solos for adoring fans. Now she lends her voice to hum a soft tune, the only part of her now that graces the present day.)

13: Henry Huo (enigmatic, serene and haunting; light as a breeze passing through the branches of an osmanthus tree yet as all-encompassing as the night sky. Before he escaped the palace, this lonely moon would often sing to himself if only to imagine the echoes were the sounds of his companions beyond four walls of his confinement.)

Miel: Moonbyul (melodic raps and vocals that range from soft to sharp. When this moon was remodeled into a nanny bot, she was designed to be sweet as honey. It wasn't until she was discovered by an ex-Sun bot, when she learned to create a voice for herself.)

Seli: Chogakusei (a deceivingly soft voice gives way to sharp yelps and low growls. Often quiet, this moon expresses his tumultuous emotions through song.)
