i had a dream last night that i organized a tumblr meetup and we all agreed to go to a local bar together. so i go to the bar but it was a really busy night and i didn't want to ask every stranger "are u here for tumblr reasons" bc that's embarrassing and i'm shy. so i just got a drink and felt very awkward & hoped someone would approach me. tried to look inviting and like i was from tumblr but not like i was "from tumblr". when i left some girl stopped me to ask if i was there for the meetup but i was too shy and asked what's tumblr?

in the dream i went home to make a post about how nobody showed up to the tumblr meetup but my entire dash was people saying they'd gone to the bar but were too fucking shy to admit to being on tumblr so we'd all just had a drink and gone home

#i have very vivid usually very logical dreams due to my ptsd #i'm skipping the part where i was really nervous about what to wear bc i didn't want to wear the wrong thing #also the drinks were all pink & with umbrellas . also after this in the dream there was this guy #who had been there in a chicken costume and was ''funny'' but then he was always outside my window #down the street . in the store. etc.#just standing there . moving like he was drowning. he kept signing that he was choking #and i was too scared to help while his feathers .... floating and bloated in the dry air #.... while he begged me with his weird puffy wings. silently. choking and choking and choking. his toes barely touching down #and meanwhile im like sorry dude i gotta jump on tumblr to talk about this bar experience #dream me: okay the drowning on dry land chicken guy is fine. but i draw the line at social anxiety

#context:#after Bortom city recognized Beatrix as a threat and began persecuting her‚ she became widely known #A great reward would be given to those who captured the runaway android‚ and most people feared her.#To sum it up‚ she was alone in her journey and refusing to trust anyone so easily.#The persecutions got worse when more cities allied themselves with Bortom. This attracted robot hunters.#At some point‚ Beatrix met this golden-eyed‚ humanoid shadow that always seemed to watch her from afar #It wouldn't stop following her‚ until it was close enough to initiate a confrontation #Beatrix was basically FED UP with the persecutions and so she fought using her fists... while he had a gun.#The bullets couldn't cause great damage‚ and were actually microchips designed to stunt robotic enemies #Beatrix barely resisted the effects and managed to take down the other... who raised its hands in defeat.#Imagine the situation: She's literally got him on the ground‚ fist raised to deliver a powerful blow while he's SHAKING IN HIS BOOTS #Turns out the microchips take effect‚ and Beatrix attempts to escape before it's too late... But her systems go off abruptly #...Then she wakes up in this cozy workshop of sorts. She goes outside and BOOM!!!#A ship moved by machinery? Robots living peacefully? People walking past her without batting an eye? This must be a dream!#She's finally found Fusionsprunt (or was found but it). You remember how Zayn liked a post or two about how much Louis was smashing it on tour and fan projects, how he was watching and paying attention to that? I would bet you anything that seeing it go so well for Louis even though it took him so long, that the fans waited all that time and were still all in for him, was a huge part of him feeling like he could do it & that it wasn't too late

#ffxiv #digital art #zenos yae galvus #venat #endwalker spoilers #will forever be fascinated with this man #look guys look- the literal embodiment of wol's wings of hope LOL (and me going hehe about that and footfalls)#the part of me that adores digging into the nuance of character writing (intentional or otherwise) is just latched onto zenos #and venat-- they cant just give us two characters who get really important 1v1 duels #and ask really important questions #and love the MC and are willing to risk themselves so unconditionally #and have them not live rent free in my brain #--and maybe this tiptoes into the realm of crack theory so beware there will be a lot past here--#but I cant help but think zenos is akin to an oracle or warrior of light but was tempered/corrupted by zodiark #or some strange happenstance of varis (who shares visual traits to golbez before 6.0 ever came out and the dark mana burst)#and carosa (who it seems zenos got his looks from- and he already looks like he has ties to venat and argos like minfillia does)#was he a result of the eternal chess match between the two parties' machinations? or just some strange twist of fate?#another day of him being “emet's successful experiment” (again- intentional or no) making me thonk #theres something so strange about the final days dreams and how dark aspected he is- that his void abilities are more tied to him tbh #yet his mannerisms beyond just what he's been through almost reminds me of light corruption and the uncanny calmness #we see in most beings associated with the light in any significant way and like second phase eden shiva #he almost has all the marks of someone who shouldve already had the echo or blessing of light but for one reason or another #was unable to hear hydaelyns call #of course it doesnt help i mentally associate him with connections to zero and how she was corrupted before she was even born #and durante- who states uncanny ability and connection with light and darkness and yet favors dark magic more #i simply live with the idea that zenos' soul was an eternally faithful companion to wol's and #this time the cardinal sin of separating the pair finally happened to rather dire consequences lmao

Omega! Logan who was born in the 1800s when secondary gender roles were very prevalent but it actually really suited him and he wanted to be a home maker and have a bunch of pups but he was always too big and hairy and and not seen as a good Omega. Alphas would sleep with him but never treat him the way they would a “proper” omega and they didn’t ever want anything serious because it’s like almost shameful to have a big hairy omega.

Then times change and Omegas start breaking out of the cookie cutter roles and they go into the work force and what not (feminism but it’s omegas) and Logan is very happy for them he thinks they all deserve the right to choose, but still no one wants him. And everyone expects him being an omega with the way he looks to be at the forefront of the movement to want the change for himself, but he doesn’t.

And over the years he toughened up and stops looking to start a family and put his dreams on the back burner to become what everyone expected of him.

And then everything happens and all the sudden Logan finds himself in a universe without secondary genders, where he isn’t a too big and hairy omega, he’s just some guy.

And unintentionally he finds his way into the role he’s always craved, where he takes care of the home and the dog while Wade makes the money, and it’s the closest he’s ever been to the life he wanted. He mostly retires from fighting and heroing, but now he’s ready for a new challenge. And being near Laura has only served to dig up that old desire and instinct he tried to bury so long ago

And I mean, even if the mutant hate wasn’t as bad as it is in Logan’s old world there was still a time here not to long ago when mutants were ran out and scattered around the world. And now with the people at Xavier’s working on getting the Mutants back into the city trying to re group with their still dwindling numbers. I mean Logan and Wade should help with the mutant re population efforts, who better to do that then two very eager immortals who can heal from anything and with a whole gang of friends around them for free child care.
