I'm coming to terms with a certain idea; I should take my time with all my creative work!
Brain pressures to post as often as possible, otherwise it's disappointment and lazy. (I'm aware, how stupid that is XD)
Changing habits is hard, haha! And it's not because I, in any way, am approaching burnout. It's the opposite! I love what I'm doing! I LOVE MY WORK! The head on the other hand, doesn't give me time to work on something for a longer while, like animations or anything similar of sort, because of that "nothing posted = lazy" setting.
It was a good start to switch the comic to be posted every two-ish weeks. ^^ and I for sure won't stop until that project is done ;3
Alright, silly rant end ^w^

My Dream Life
Monday is a work from office day, I go in with my packed lunch- fruit and a sandwich with a green juice. After work is weight lifting, I spend an hour in a workout class, gaining muscle and feeling strong.
Tuesday I work from home, we spend the day together, he makes us lunch, something healthy. After work we go for a walk around the park, maybe we have a summer picnic.
Wednesday I’m back in the office. I go for a lunch time walk, get myself a big stretch and some fresh air, maybe buy myself a bit of sushi. After work I have time to myself so I go to the gym again- I start with a walk, a bit of stretching, and a full body workout.
Thursday working from home, it’s a nice relaxing day- we go on a date night and have a nice meal.
Friday is the day I lock in at work, get everything done for the weekend and keep my focus. I make sure to take a stroll at lunch in the sun to give my brain a break.
Saturday and Sunday, if we aren’t off on a hike or a visit to the beach then I can stop by the gym and do a yoga session.
Everything is habit and repetition. Finding the natural flow and progression of each day. To make the habits a part of a routine and the new normal.

Consistent Imperfect Action
Success is not an overnight magic trick, but the result of consistent, imperfect action. Embrace the messy middle, learn from mistakes, and keep moving forward. Ditch the pressure of perfection and focus on progress. If feeling stuck, consider seeking help to navigate roadblocks and turn dreams into reality.

Our Immunity to Change: My interpretation of this adult development model
How many times have we wanted to change a behavior, mindset, or habit, and we weren’t able to do it? We had the motivation for the change. We even started it but have yet to actualize the change we wanted. Our immunity to change is as physiological as psychological. Our reptilian part of the brain – the brain stem – is designed to see change as a threat. We are instinctively wired to survive;…

What Have You Been Putting Off? Breaking the Cycle of Procrastination
Let’s be honest—we’ve all been there. That nagging task you’ve been avoiding, the project gathering dust, or that simple phone call you just can’t seem to make. You tell yourself, “I’ll do it tomorrow,” but tomorrow turns into next week, and next week into next month. Before you know it, the weight of unfinished tasks starts to feel overwhelming. But why do we procrastinate, and more…

Run for my life
I hate running. Did and still do. I’m usually a LIIT type of girl, enjoying yoga or pilates.
But it’s been a while since I did any exercise regularly. (I’m a legit couch potato)
However, lately I had back pains and muscle aches occasionally (thirty, am I right🥲).
Since I’m too lazy to go to the gym (it’s 30-mins walking distance—yes I’m that lazy), I’ve decided to run at the nearby park instead. The next day after my first run, all my body aches gone😮 just then it’s like an epiphany, that I really have to take this exercise thing seriously.
Although in every single run I always have thoughts “this is a mistake😭” “I don’t really want to do this😭” “I’m tiiireeedd😭” I keep pushing and pushing myself. Even after we registered for the 5K run event and I trained at the park I said “I’ll just give the ticket away I can’t do this😭”.
My progress is slow and unsteady, but he always told me that I should run for my health, not for training or anything else, and any progress is a good progress. He always praises me whenever I finished a run, even though I disappointed at myself like “I was so slow” “I walked a lot” “I did only short distance”.
====
Finally did the 5K run event! 🥳🏃🏻‍♂️ My greatest achievement was not the event nor the numbers, but I managed to pushed myself outside of my comfy lazy zone🐣
To this date I still hate running, but I realised it’s the easiest and cheapest exercise (other than home yoga, but next to the couch I chose being its potato 🛋️🥔 ). Honestly I started running just because my back hurt (thirties, am I right🥲) and it didn’t go away just until I did my first run🫨
So here’s to more exercise in the future, à la santé ! 🥂✨

THE THREE PHASES OF HABIT FORMATION
Like water, all our habits exist in one of three phases, but instead of solid, liquid, and gas, they are Honeymoon, Fight Thru, and Second Nature.  HONEYMOON PHASE We’ve all experienced the Honeymoon Phase. Like a new relationship, we begin our journey of self-improvement full of excitement and motivation. The new habit feels effortless, and for a while, it is. Then, reality sets in, and we…

How long does it take to form a new habit?
According to recent research from the University College of London, motivational speaker and Bestselling Author Robin Sharma mentioned that habit creation takes 66 continuous days to hardwire our brains and free our willpower.
They split these 66 days into three roughly equal parts.
1st 20 Days: Destruction Stage- Very Hard Time
                       2nd -20 Days: Confusion Stage-Thinking To Leave
                       3rd-20 Days: Integration Stage-Automaticity
Habit formation is not a one-size-fits-all process.
After reading many books, I've learned that forming new habits varies from person to person, taking anywhere from 4 to 90 days based on intention and interest.

"Where are you?"
This is one of the first questions we should all be asking ourselves when starting a new goal.
Yet ironically, is also one of the most overlooked questions when setting ourselves up for success. Ever wonder why your new habits aren't sticking or just can't seem to let go of the bad ones?
Take a quick read to learn how asking yourself, where am I? Will set you up for success on all your personal goals from day 1.
