Desperately trying to sketch out my zora OC (no name yet, they/them/he/him). Still in progress but wanted to share.

They are a mix between a thresher shark and a tiger shark (hence the stripes!). Dark purple and lavender stripes in coloration. He likes to tie little strips of leather around the end of his tail to make his whip attack hurt more :3c

They are currently traveling in an attempt to find their best friend *cough hopelessly in love cough*. He carries around a poorly done sketch of them and will be like "HAVE YOU SEEN THIS ZORA ???", *proceeds to go on a rant about how his best friend has the kindest smile and gentlest soul and how wonderful he is*. Got so much lore developing for these two.

ain't gonna lie, i got like near 0 attachment to hakari/hoshi. wish gege introduced them earlier. partially bc jujutsu in the last dozen chapters got me emotionally dead. or well, since shibuya really.

I think that's understandable, considering that they were introduced pretty late... several chapters after the Shibuya Arc ended, if I'm remembering correctly. And even then, it's not like they really had any prominent roles like the second year students. (Aside from Hakari and his fight against Kashimo, maybe? For however long that fight lasted?)

At any rate, they'll end up having a larger presence in zenith of stars haha, given that they'll be Shiki's classmates.

this speaking as a cis person. Nothing brings me more joy seeing people find gender euphoria in becoming a mediocre representation of humanity. And I mean that so genuinely. Local boy finds joy and fulfillment wearing a cargo shorts and t-shirt combo. Local girl has transitioned to look like someone's disheveled aunt, has never been happier. Local person experiences gender euphoria rocking the world's worst bowl-cut. Without a scap of irony, this shit makes me see the wonder and whimsy in just, being a human. An average, person going through their day-to-day, is a wondrous thing? That's amazing. And heteronormativity has stripped these experiences of their joy. Like you're right, wearing a basic girlypop skirt should make my heart sing. Why not? Why are these expressions lesser because they're normal? All this to say.
