Things I love about Gwyneth Berdara:

She's a coppery haired Priestess who sings and who exudes beauty and grace.

She's a representative to those who have been traumatized like she has been.

She works hard and is a light amongst the darkness to others.

She is a damn good friend. She's will put aside her own fears to be there and comfort those who need her.

She perseveres and has an inner strength after what life has dealt her with. It's encouraging and motivating to others.

She can be shy, but comes out of her shell around those she's comfortable around, which is honestly really relatable to a lot of people (myself included).

She is willing to lay down her life to save others. Just think of the children at Sangravah and her friends during the Blood Rite.

She is the first reborn Valkyrie and one of the two first female warriors to be titled Carynthian.

Like Rhysand, who's a High Lord and has a General (Cass) and an Spymaster (Azriel), Feyre is going to have Nesta and Gwyn at her side. We all know how I think each mated couple of acotar serve a role. Feysand as the rulers, Nessian as the warriors or generals of armies and Gwynriel as spies. I really hope these three ladies get closer and be the sexiest governors in Prythian.

Throughout the entire series, no one talks to Azriel the way Gwyn does.

She doesn’t seem to be afraid of his shadows, doesn't stare at his hands, and doesn’t seem concerned over his aloofness. She is comfortable around him, teasing him, and he’s just as comfortable with her, teasing back.

Cassian is puzzled about what’s bothering Azriel until they drive into prepping the Valkyries for the blood rite, but he sees so clearly how Azriel looks at Gwyn. Nesta, too, notices how differently Gwyn treats Azriel, calling him her new ribbon.

Without Gwyn, Nesta wouldn't have strived to do better, and without Gwyn, no one else would have signed up the first time Nesta tried to do something for someone other than Elain.

Cassian knew to bring up Gwyn and Emerie to get Azriel to abandon the mission to rescue Eris, and Azriel’s siphons and shadows reacted in contrast to what he said.

Nesta grew apart from Elain and grew closer to Gwyn. It’s not surprising to me, for Azriel to be so similar to Nesta, to follow suit as well.

I just read all of Palmarosa yesterday and I am blown away by your character development. You are amazingly talented and I cannot wait for Chapter 29.

In good news I finished chapter 29 today! I also started chapter 30 (I really don't want those chapters coming too far apart because chapter 29 honestly ends in a really bleak/grim place), and got about 1000 words into that!

It's been really awesome to have a bit more time for Palmarosa again :D And I've started playing BG3 again which has really helped just for mentally holding the atmosphere in my head! Every time I see Raphael I get so stupidly excited lmao

Gwyn and Elain are both described with light imagery. But i see them as different.

I see Elain as warm, glowy sunlight. Like warm summer, orange/yellow-ish which radiates warmness.

I see Gwyn as pure light. Like the moon. White. Pure light.

Both of them have light imagery but they are still so different. In my opinion, Elain is the sun and Gwyn is the moon.

6- What’s something you have in common with this character?

As much as I love Owen Strand that is a tough one because he has confidence and leadership that I myself do not possess, and my eating habits are more akin to raccoon fishing stuff out of a dumpster lol… but I will say I also know what it’s like to have your life changed by divorce (I was the kid not the person getting divorced) but that is a reason I love the Strand family so much in general.

12- What’s a headcanon you have for this character?

Basically my headcanon is that Owen was not absent for TK’s entire childhood after the divorce- I maintain there was a couple of rough years where he wasn’t as present as he should have been but after Gwyn kicked his ass and he made it to TK’s holiday concert then he made more of an effort- I’m not saying he never chose work over his kid but he was always in TK’s life and saw his son every week otherwise they wouldn’t be as close as they are because even in the pilot it’s clear how close they are and who much Owen knows his kid, which I don’t think they would have been if Owen was truly never there

21- if you’re a fic writer and have written for this character, what’s your favorite thing to do when you’re writing for this character? What’s something you don’t like?

In fact I have- (Will Ferrell Anchorman voice) you can say I’ve written about a quarter million words about this character 🥰🥰

And that is because Owen is very fun to write- I love writing dad Owen, writing Owen as a dad taking care of/frantically searching for/patching up his kid(s) is very fun ��😍

Something I don’t like (but won’t deny happen- I just felt it didn’t happen to quite the extent others do) is because my long fic starts when TK is five and goes through the years of the divorce it was much less fun to write trying but coming up short Owen but I did- the petty his ex wife is seeing someone new Owen, falling asleep and his kid gets injured when he was supposed to be watching them Owen- not showing up for not just there holiday concert but missing other big things Owen- less fun to write but I definitely have!

There is a reason why Feysand Bonus chapter only discusses Elain with regards of Lucien and Azriel Bonus chapter ends with Gwyn buried deep in Azriel's chest glowing quietly 24 hours after Gwyn calmed and settled not just Az but also his shadows.

The bonus chapters are the only canon hints people have for the upcoming books (after HOFAS) and them heavily foreshadowing Gwynriel/Elucien shows what SJM wants.
