Danny: Marshadow(ghost/fighting this just makes sense for him), Dragapult(airplane dragon thats also a ghost? this is very danny), Minior(i think he'd have a blue one), Staryu(in the pokemon world people think these come from space), Clefairy(moon theme), Glaceon(his starter was an eevee and at some point it evolved into glaceon)

Tucker: Rotom(this is the most obvious pick ever for tucker but im sticking to it), Ampharos(do androids dream of electronic sheep?), Chansey(he doesnt like going to the nurse so he caught his own personal nurse but shes really pushy and they have a love/hate relationship), CoFAGrigus(everyone was really glad when his yamask evolved tbh cuz its mask looked a little Too much like Tucker and it was kinda eerie), Porygon2, Golett (theres something about the manmade mons that fits tucker really well)

Since the new Legends Z-A seems to feature mega evolution, what pokémon would you like to see having mega evolution granted for? In my opinion, it would be so cool if the eeveelutions were granted.

I'd love for there to be new Mega Evolutions; it's definitely my favorite gimmick. I don't imagine they'll go there, but it would be cool to see the Eeveelutions all get Megas. I think more starter Pokemon should get Megas, to even the field there (I would love Swampert to get a new Mega, but I know that won't happen!). I also hope the lore pulls away from the "Mega evolution is harmful" direction SuMo went in.

My pokemon hot take: Not every single stage pokemon needs to have an evolution added in newer gens. Komala is just a funny little guy and he's a sweet little gentleman and I love him you guys are just mean and rude and can't accept him the way he is ❤️

I agree that not every single stage would evolve (that would be boring), but I think it depends on the Pokemon. Usually single-stagers work best when the Pokemon is very gimmick-y (Mimikyu, Minior) or has a theme or design that wouldn't be enhanced by an evo (Lapras). If there's room to expand on the concept, then there's no reason to leave a 'mon at one stage unless the stats are busted or something.

Any pokémon can be a sign of affection if you're trying hard enough and you have good taste.

Edit: According to Lanette, this is not a proper answer, and I need to address this appropriately and with the disclaimer that your crush may or very likely may not take receiving a grimer as a compliment, even if your crush has excellent taste and appreciates the subtle beauty of a grimer's scent.

In any case, flowers tend to be a common symbol of love around the world, with members of the roselia line being of particular romantic importance in Sinnoh. You would think Hoenn as well, given that this is where roselia are also common, but in actuality, besides luvdisc, the second most common symbol of love would be volbeat and illumise. This is especially true in northern Hoenn, where towns and villages hold festivals during both pokémon's shared mating season.

As a side point, cherrim also holds some importance in Sinnoh—specifically their petals, which they shed in the spring during their own mating season. It's a common romantic trope to confess one's love during showers of these petals, though cherrim itself is not as strong a romantic symbol as its more venomous grass-type cousin.

You're pretty spot-on about the gift-of-choice being an applin in Galar, and meanwhile, in nearby(-ish) Paldea, most Paldeans actually don't gift pokémon to their crushes. (As a note, this tradition can indeed be seen in various regions across the globe that had at one time or another been a colony under the Paldean crown, though it's of particular prevalence in Paldea itself.)

As for Kanto and Johto, in both regions, it's actually even less prevalent to gift one another pokémon than it is in Paldea. Rather, we typically give each other food—especially chocolate. HI EVERYONE! I just wanted to discuss something. I started writting smut (in Spanish) when I was 12/13 years old, which had never been a big deal. People knew my age, and read my works still because they didn’t care. All I learned at that age was very basic, you know, the type of things you learn at school, the things your friends say, the things you see on movies. And I kept on getting knowledge as i was growing up. But once i started reading in tumblr, i saw people being mad at minors (around 16/17 year olds) for writing? Even HARASSING them, and sending people to report them (without a valid excuse, which is a fraudulent report) just because of their age. Which makes absolutely no sense because they’re not hurting anyone. I absolutely get it when writers block miniors because we’re all free to choose who we want to read us, and also get when people get mad at writers writing for minors, but why would we hate on minors doing just what they want?

I don’t really know if I’m actually open minded or just too chill, but I dont really care if there are minors on my blog. Sexuality is part of everyones life, minors also have sex, and trying to cover up this reality makes no sense. I do think they should be mature enough to understand that none of those works are real, they are pure fiction and it’s almost impossible to have sex the way it’s shown, but that’s something not only minors need to understand, but also EVERYONE else.

So ive been hearing

about alot of Christian attacks and persecution and in Syria recently and seeing how little attention its gotten i felt it was right speak out a bit about it. Though im not really surprised about this considering Christianity is denounced and even spit on in the middle east. But it's still terrible and shameful nonetheless. Christianity has always been the most persecuted and hated religion and that is quite sad.

Of course Jesus said that since they hated him they will also hate us (Christians). Of course lets not forget the 70 christians who were beheaded in the congo about a week or two ago. Its really sad to see how this hasnt been reported alot more but then again, if its Christian persecution then no one really cares. But heaven forbid some supposed "oppressed" miniority be offended and its the end of the world.

Anyway i just wanna say to all the Christians in the middle east and in the world. You guys are not alone and we're all with you in spirit and prayer. Just know that we love you and have faith that no matter what happens.

Coming from someone who likes II neg, I feel like the biggest issue many active communtiy members have is not having nuance

Like okay II is bad(or certian parts yadada), so why is it bad well that's because the writers are bad at writing, why are they bad at writing? Well they may just be uneducated- Clearly their all bad people because as we know good people would write a better show which means they must all be bad horrible cis het white straight man queerbaiting children

Like I've seen people say that, and coming from someone critical of the II team and the show. That's a VERY odd thing to assume right off the bat, it feels like you don't want to be critcial of the actual people but rather whar you think they are. It's like we as a communtiy feel the need to give a reason on why we dislike these people so we make them the worst possible thing to exist(to us). II isn't disney, their not cishetmen in suits, they've writeen bad shit but when you look at the current potical views of the team it's clear they are more leftleaning than anything.

The og ask was made when justin still used he/they, but I always found it soo werid how many people who are II neg seemed to ignore the fact Justin is Nonbianry/isn't cis. Honeslty I think 3 months in most the critism I started seeing felt like a flanderazation of what I had seen in the past. Pokemon wenclair au: do you pretend to comple the teams for weds and enid, like, the six Pokemon. If so, what they would be? If not, why? And if vega existed in that au, what would be her team?

No, not really. Each of the three pokemons I chose for Wednesday and Enid's teams represent parts of them, and I am very content with the ones I chose. They had meaning to me, and adding more pokemon to that feels to me like I'm diluting that meaning, if that makes sense. It would mess up the team dynamic I had in my mind as well.

Also some of the pokemons that might fit them felt more like they'd fit the other characters better instead, which is also why I limited it(aside from the obvious reason that I can't draw that many pokemons)

As for Vega's pokemon, it would be these guys

Snubull. A pink dog for very obvious reasons.

Minior. Preferably the pink/red one. Because it's a star.

And Sableye, because it's supposedly designed after what was described to be an alien encounter. Vega loves aliens and would love a Pokemon whose origin is rumored to be from space

the current ideas i have for character teams in my utena pokemon au:

general thoughts i put into making these:

1. i tried to give the characters pokemon i think they'd genuinely be fond of and want to use, and less so pokemon that are symbolic of things about said character (to an extent. nanami's are kind of questionable. but i did avoid color-coding) the exceptions to this rule are akio and half of anthy's team, because i think it makes sense for them.

2. it did not start out as something i did on purpose but anthy and akio are the only two with a full team of six while everyone else has three, and i think that works well.

i put a cubone on here originally but i thought that was a bid morbid. anyway yeah kirlia from the ralts dios/akio gave her, dewott for sword-fighting (shell-fighting?) and scorbunny because it's a little soccer player and would love playing sports with her :)

anthy

the first three are the pokemon she's "supposed" to have. the rose bride pokemon if you will. the last three are her silly little guys. one i unfortunately did not have room to add is a torchic nicknamed nanami, but i think anthy does have more pokemon than just the ones on her team (like the rest of her twenty goomy hiding in the pencil box)

okay so mega gallade is literally just dios as a pokemon so i had to give it to him. i'm thinking that it can't mega evolve anymore as part of akio losing the power he once had and all that. there is something in the lore about a strong bond being required for mega evolution too, so my headcanon for why, is that his gallade just fucking hates his guts because he sucks. coballion is a legendary pokemon, the leader of the swords of justice trio and another of dios' pokemon. minior is a meteor to go with his whole "i like space" facade and the last three are the evolved forms of anthy's pokemon

More magical moments on the last day of Worlds. In line for our Pokemon Center reservation, a Japanese young lady next to me had a Jirachi/Minior bag and a keychain of an actual Sapphire cart. So of course I said "excuse me, I love your bag and your Sapphire keychain" in Japanese. She got all excited and of course said NIHONGO JOUZU! like all the Japanese people have been doing 😆 and I'm like ehh chottooooo lollll. So we chatted a bit, I said I love Hoenn and Kyogre. She said she did too and showed me a Kyogre sticker on her phone case, and I showed her my tattoo! She was in awe and asked to take a photo! Of course I said yes. She was so sweet and it was a delight talking to her. I told her Hoenn was my favorite region and I think it's the best, and she agreed 😆

Later I asked for a price of something, literally was just like いくらですか？ and the guy asked where I was from. I said New York and he said in Japanese "Oh New York! And you're so good at Japanese!!" 😭😭😭 I SAID LIKE 4 WORDS YOU GUYS LOLLLL I can't. everyone is so nice. My Japanese is definitely good but I get nervous speaking it and I'll forget words and sentence formatting. But people are SO excited to hear me speak! And I'm so happy to get to use my Japanese to connect with people!!

We went to a panel with TCG artists which was magical. One mentioned he was so surprised at all the Pokemon tattoos. Another mentioned she really wants to draw a card of Ingo and Emmet, and when I heard "Nobori" come out of her mouth I got all audibly excited and she like pointed at me like "ああ！" LOLLLL

The event is over. My trip in Hawaii isn't yet though. This has been such a delight. Among many things I'm feeling so much more confident about my Japanese speaking ability hahaha!
