12:30 I’m here to spread some Curly Johnny Ponyboy friendship based on what I used to do with old friends.

They’re all pretty chill with affection, especially with those they’re comfortable with. So sometimes they’ll go down to the lot and Ponyboy will lean against Johnny, and Curly will just… stand there before eventually sitting on Pb’s other side and very slowly start to lean against him as well (he will deny purposefully initiating any kind of affection till his last breath). And then they all just talk absolute trash about people. 3 boys alone for hours what will they do: make fun of people. Sometimes it’s strangers, sometimes it’s people from their school, sometimes it’s other buddies; nobody’s safe.

Sometimes Curly’ll come by the lot just to see if Ponyboy’s there yet, though he doesn’t just ditch if it’s only Johnny. I mean, he did, but then it got kind of weird to interact with the guy you very obviously ignored a handful of times. Those two are awkward as hell without Ponyboy being their middle ground in conversations, but they become actually acquainted with the other through these accidental lot-meetups. At least, as much as you can with how quiet Johnny is

On weekends, sometimes they try to push the curfew and go out to places like the Dingo, or the park, or sometimes they simply walk around for a while after dark. They make fun of and poke at and tease each other, sometimes giving out stupid dares just for laughs. And sometimes they will all just sit and smoke, ranting about their problems not because they’re inherently overwhelming at the moment, but because the others will listen.

During lunch periods, if Curly’s set on the idea enough, he’ll get Ponyboy and Johnny to ditch for a bit and they go off behind the school building to waste the period away. One time they walked off and found a storage/ water tank some ways away and they climbed onto it. Curly lost a ring on it and they ended up spending the rest of their time there trying and failing to find and grab it.

You know, when I first got into RPGs as a teenager I was always so afraid of making my OCs too immature bc what the hell did I know about being an adult? 30 seemed so infinitely old then, and I had no idea what would be appropriate behavior for someone that age.

Inspired by that ME comic that I can't find rn (please tag the author if you find them) my brother and I brainstormed which ME characters would fit best in the Mole Cold Open from B99 so here you have it:

Shepard: Because I know these guys, I know everything about them

Anderson: You're a poor Commander if you don't think people can surprise you

Shepard: Not these people. Here, watch this I know what everyone is gonna do tonight. It's thursday, so Kasumi is gonna leave early to rehearse with her dance group, Dancy Reagan, they're the first ladies of movemente. Liara's gonna be going over her weekly budget. And Thane will be attending a "Pyjak for one" cooking class.

Thane: Tonight's menu "Sauce-Alon-I"

Shepard: And if I run and leap at Garrus he will most certainly catch me in his arms. Coming in!

Garrus: No, I'm holding coffee!

Interviews. Alisa had never been big on interviews, but Anderson had asked for her help when it came to vetting the people they'd be bringing for their new mission; she hadn't been given too many details, but then again, she didn't really need too many. All she knew was that they were putting together a crew for Anderson's ship, and that she had been named as his XO. That meant helping to pick the crew... along with making her own suggestions.

She'd made one suggestion, but now it was time for interviews. Will Graham was one that had caught her eye; a biotic, of course, which probably played a role. A strong one, based on his aptitude scores; Liss could tell in more than a few ways, his scores out-classed hers, and she'd been noted as one of the Alliance's most potent biotics... or would have been, if she'd been able to handle the L2 implants. Reading it, she couldn't entirely explain it, but everything she read gave her a particular... feeling. A certain vibe that she couldn't explain further than a gut feeling.

But a feeling was something she had to explore, and thus, she'd called him in for a chat. The basics were simple; asking about technical scores, questions about operations he'd been involved in that weren't classified to her, the usual. But then, there was just... talk. The opportunity for him to ask questions, either of their mission---as far as she was allowed to tell him, of course---or even about her.

"That sounds like a piece of wisdom that comes from somewhere, Will," she teased gently, taking a sip of her coffee. "Care to share in that... infinite wisdom you seem to have?"

Something about him intrigued her, in a good way. Alisa was already relatively certain of her answer as to whether he fit what she and Anderson were looking for, but there was no harm in getting to know him a little more before then, was there? Even if, at times, he seemed to have... odd things to say.

I truly want to make priest characters but I can only make priest-adjacent characters from religions I make up for my stories bc I cannot write with a level of genuine understanding of irl religions That would do that characters justice

I think one of the sexiest things about biotics is the way it potentially turns your very body into a tool. I just think that's a fun thing to consider with Shepard.
