woke up thinking about toji ruthlessly beating the ever living fuck out of some creepy douchebag who tried to come onto you, after you clearly told him that you were not interested and he couldn't take no for an answer. he just easily grabs the back of the guys head and consistently smashes it against the ledge of the bar, at least a good 3-4 times before his body goes limp onto the cold filthy floor.

looks over to you and asks if you were alright, takes you a minute to snap out of your daze from the graphic violent scene that just played out before you. you say yes with a uttered breath and meet his unphased gaze. a beautiful tint of forest green reflecting back at you, wearing such a lopped sided smile and a body built like a god damn greek sculpture.

you guys talk for a good hour or so sitting back comfortably, safely, onto the stools of the bar and engage with small talk and genuine chuckles from time to time.

not realizing the time, you shift your weight from the stool that was inevitably numbing your rear and stood to your feet. fixing your dress as you thank the strange hot man to come to your rescue.

but before you could leave, he asks if you needed some company to walk you home. you take a moment to contemplate on the idea, realizing his intentions behind his sudden offer. but the fact that this complete and utter stranger just rescued you from being disgustingly violated by another - weighted out all of your doubts and deterrents from your mind.

one thing led to another, and there he was the next morning; fully naked in all of his well sculpted beauty, dark fringed hair tousled along his beautiful face and big beefy arms tucked comfortably beneath your pillow. snoring softly into the plush material.

My secret is that I am a trust fund baby, but there was nowhere near enough to do anything with it except buy a house. I feel incredibly guilty about it, especially because I do volunteer work with some of the most vulnerable displaced people in society. So I see what kind of suffering these people have been through just to reach a place of safety. I am leaving that charity a quarter of whatever the earnings are when I die and I still feel like it’s not enough.

hey, I know this is secrets hour and not advice hours but actually I think there's a chasm between "being mindful of your position of relative privilege while trying to provide a net good to society with your life" and "having so much it's honestly kinda gross and you have reasons to feel guilty about it." not to sound annoying or preachy or whatever; sometimes guilt is a useful feeling spurring us to do better. sometimes it's a negative brainworm that doesn't actually lead to anything constructive. if it helps, many people in society dream of providing their children with safety and stability, like your parents presumably did. the fact that you don't have to scramble for rent puts you in a position where you're able to put some of your time towards unpaid work to help others. you are doing some good with your life. I hope typing this out made you feel better!
