we get this long, slow ass sex scene no one asked for between robb & talisa with this stupid cheesy dialogue afterwards, we get like 12 bronn sex scenes an episode, an entire goofy c plot about how podrick payne is a sex god, three out of every five king’s landing scenes are shot in a brothel, and i can’t get ned plowing catelyn in the first episode. they have five kids. how do we think they got those five kids. i can’t get a single tiddy from jaime or brienne when they fuck that one (1) time. gwendoline christie is the most beautiful woman in the world and we got like a flash of butt. why is it that when i want to be a pervert these people learn modesty but they insist on making varys talk shop with 4 pairs of tiddys in his face!!!

Robb, Theon, Loras, Renly, Margaery, Sansa, Jon, and Ygritte are the ultimate friend group. You have Robb, Renly, Sansa, and Jon who are the sensible ones, and Theon, Loras, Margaery, and Ygritte who are the wild ones.

Also, Robb, Theon, Loras, and Renly are sort of their own sub friend group, and they are awesome. They constantly go on double dates or just hang out all together because Loras and Theon are the bitchiest of friends while Robb and Renly just watch them fondly as they gossip and do dumb shit. They do occasionally have to intervene when their boyfriends/husbands have an excessively stupid idea.

I’d love to know ur opinion on Jon’s ships (Jon&Ygritte, Jon&Satin, Jon&Sansa, Jon&Daenerys, Jon&val and so on). I personally like Jonerys but I also find a lot of Jon ships a bit ridiculous lmao

i like Jon and Dany in a very abstract way but it’s hard for me to really get behind them because they haven’t interacted yet if that makes sense. they’re obviously gonna have the largest part to play together in coming books where i think they’ll end up being one of my favorite ships of the series tho

Jon/Satin 10/10 i personally prefer to think of it as Jon being so fucking lonely in his command that he can’t help but take advantage of satin’s position. like when Jon said in adwd he craves company not food hmm i’m lonely and horny and here’s this handsome guy devoted enough to change religions for me and (in amber-laugh’s eyes) is attracted to me so yeah let’s give this a go and then feelings of affection develop from there but it starts out as just a means to an end

Jon/Val my personal favorite of canon possible endings i agree with people who say this is more idealized in Jon’s eyes than it should be but i think that’s part of the fun. she represents something to him that he’ll not only never have but may not even want when it comes down to it. i think that fantasy is part of the fun. if she survives and he does end up going beyond the wall in the end than they’re ending up together in my eyes. she brings out a boyish side of him we haven’t seen in a long time and it comes from a different place than what Ygritte brought out in him that seems to sit easier on his soul. also i could’ve sworn the first time i looked them up on tumblr someone was calling them JonValJon as a Les Mis reference but ive never seen it since so can we start that?

Jon/Ygritte loved it for the storyline it brought and the character development we got to see through it. i’m glad she died so they couldn’t end up together because like i said even tho he loved her she obviously never sat right with his spirit and on a personal level her “fuck me or die” stance never sat right with my spirit either. and she kicked ghost out “find somewhere else for ghost to sleep tonight” NOT ON MY WATCH! ghost’s evil stepmother ik he smiled when she got shot. on a serious note tho he seems to love her far more after she died than he ever did when she was alive and i wonder if that’s something we’ll get in to if he falls in love again in the series

i like Jon/Sansa in a non canon fictional sense. some of the AUs are cute and fun. i don’t see any plot where they actually end up together but i do think there’s a lot of familial angst and self esteem issues that could be worked in to their fanon that’s a lot of fun and their fans have some really talented authors that do it well

and you didn’t ask for this but Jon/Alys Karstark is one of my favorites and i really hope we see her again when he travels back to winterfell. Alys resents the Starks for getting her family killed while Jon resents the Karstarks for leaving Robb to die surrounded by enemies but they’ve found childhood comfort together at the edge of the world. she trusts him in a way she clearly couldn’t trust anyone else in westeros and i think she’ll easily follow him when it’s time for him to lead. and them flirting at her wedding to another man? i mean COME ON!

ros exists for sexposition and the moment the actress wanted to do something besides be naked on screen, ros is used for more sexualized violence and to make littfucker look cool instead of doing the smart thing, the thing real fucking writers would do, which is invest time and effort into molding their canon foreigner into the series.

again i love adore stan esme bianco & i hope marilyn manson dies painfully but alayaya can be a summer islander who thought snow sounded cool until she got to winterfell, and is now leaving with the king’s entourage bc safety in numbers on the road. this is not hard to get across in dialogue with her and theon.

give her the exact same story. working for littlefucker, being horrified by the killing of barra waters, being threatened back to work by littlefucker, scooped up as a bird by varys, and mistaken for shae by cersei. it even works because - gasp, shock, awe - alayaya gets her canon story here of being at least partially in the know about the schemes happening on the street of silk & getting caught up in them unawares.

give her more scenes with shae.

keep the scene where her and shae talk about sansa. the story about ned ringing the bells is so sweet and it coming from ros/alayaya, not as any sort of boast or proof of loyalty, but just her recounting a story she thinks is sweet about a girl she watched grow up, to another working girl like her who is caught up and in over her head.

littlefucker tries to kill her. does not succeed. he already foiled the attempt he doesn’t need that win. u kno how they could have shown how ruthless he is? by showing us jeyne poole more in s1, varys investigating what happened to jeyne (he does hate a loose end), alayaya digging into that as she continues to spy on littlefucker, then having some sort of s3 reveal that littlefucker has had jeyne the whole time - he moves her before varys can nab her & varys whisks alayaya out of the kingdoms.

alayaya disappears until the finale, mhysa.

mhysa doubles down on the mother stuff - no not dany crowd surfing some brown people, but varys brings alayaya to her mother, chataya. gives her an option - he will leave her with her mother for the rest of her life, never bother her again. OR. she can be more than a whore and the daughter of a whore. chataya gives us insight into summer island culture, argues there’s nothing wrong with working in a brothel - but alayaya chooses varys anyway.

when she gets on the ship, the captain has blue hair but we only see him from behind (so they can wait to cast joncon).

s4 is a slow introduction of the golden company & aegon (so the casuals like, know their names & can keep track). alayaya is meant to further aegon’s education, give him a real look into what’s happening in westeros. when tyrion ends up in essos in s5, it’s alayaya - friendly face! - who walks him through the plot.

I know I should let this whole Olympic cardboard bed go, but there's so much hilarity that one can draw from it, you know. Picture this: An athlete makes the unofficial competition of who can ruin most cardboard beds and who can fraternize without actually ruining the cardboard beds. OKAY SORRY FOR THE LATENESS HERE but in between vaccine and stuff I just got here now that said having also seen some actual other olympic shenanigans:

oberyn absolutely wins first place of fraternizing without ruining the beds followed by arianne and jonygritte who end up trying a lot bc she drags him into it, jb ruin the most followed by theonrobb and gendrya while stannisdavos being coaches have the regular bed and they thank the heavens they don't believe in every day for that

if jaime's representing westerlands and brienne stormlands it means they're on opposite teams but I checked and I can't do the thing I meant to with them so let's say that they tie and brienne lets him have the first shot on pseudopurpose because it's his last chance and she knows it and she's like we're as good as it gets anyway I'll win it next time they 100% make out the moment they're finished

robb and theon representing north and iron islands do the thing that my fellow citizen tamberi and barshim did ie they're competing for the high jump thing they tie and share the gold

jon and the wall gang are most likely in the water polo team and I'm saying water polo bc it looks like the most masochistic choice you could make when choosing a team sports (like.. UTTERMOST RESPECT but the mere idea of throwing a ball WHILE having to swim makes me get a headache klgj) that no one expects to win bc they never did in years but they end up eliminating the crownlands one which no one expected bc they win every other time, dolorus edd the coach is in tears bc he never expected it and yet

ygritte meanwhile is wiping the floor with athletics female stuff plus the wildling team absolutely wins the relay race while she and jon responsibly don't ruin the cardboard beds

tormund totally flirts with the both of them (he's like like weight throwing or whatever's the name), ends up in an amicable threesome, the cardboard bed gets ruined but it's not counted towards the count bc it's three of them
