Since I have decided it’s Seongjoong Saturday, here are random things my mind thinks about them (historical inaccuracies included):
1. Seonghwa is the dominant one who calls the plays but he’s clever enough to give Hongjoong the illusion and delusion that he’s in control.
2. Sometimes Seonghwa is the hissy cat and sometimes he’s the tired golden retriever. Hongjoong adjusts himself accordingly because Ateez would implode otherwise.
3. Their favourite child is Yunho because that dude is the only sane one in that group.
4. Seonghwa scorned is like a Scorched-Earth-Apocalypse. Hongjoong scorned is like when a toddler throws a tantrum then immediately takes a nap because he tired himself out.
5. I know for a fact that at least once (a month) Seonghwa looks at Hongjoong’s outfit, purses his lips like Miranda Priestly and sighs in grave disappointment.

OKAY VASHWOOD KIDS ON THE HEAD THIS AFTERNOON HHNNG
While I do think that them having kids of their own is super cute and such a nice thing for them both, I am personally a Vash and Wolfwood adopting children truther. Best part is it was Not Even On Purpose.
The times are less aggressive, their lives are less violent (compared to before) and they are both a lot more free. They aren’t used to living a settled life, in spite of finally having a little home of their own at the outskirts of December.
They still travel around without an aim or clear purpose most often than not. They would visit old friends and the times they decided to stay in a place for a bit longer would either be at Home or the Hopeland Orphanage.
They like it that way. It’s familiar and they don’t have to watch for their heads as much as they did before. They are finally experiencing a much more gentler life of their own.
I imagine them stumbling with some kids, let’s say three, that live on their own in one of their trips. They offer to bring them to the Hopeland Orphanage like they usually do to orphaned kids, so they can live more peacefully. They accept after some more convincing.
During that trip they get to live a bit more closely with the children compared to the way they do with the kids back at the orphanage. They love them oh they do, with all their heart, but the closeness they experience with everyone at the orphanage is more of a caretaker sort of approach and nothing as intimate as taking care of them so personally.
The bumpy trip basically obligated them to be more close to the kids, spending nights and days with them, protecting them from danger, cooking meals for their little group of five, spending a few days in different towns to unwind and buy more resources. It was nice, traveling together like that (even if it did get a little dangerous every now and then when they stumbled upon a fight or two).
The kids start to get very attached to them, and both Vash and Wolfwood admittedly were feeling the same way too. They knew they couldn’t keep the kids, not with their wanderers life style and the danger that was still always present (not as terrible as before, but trouble would always be a part of them as it seemed).
Once they got to December to finally leave the kids at the Orphanage, they decide it’s a good time for them to have one of their long stays at the orphanage until their next trip. All of the kids love them both, and they return the sentiment as well. However, it’s evident how their closeness was bigger with the kids they just traveled around with. They knew a bit more about each other with more precision, they were a bit more affectionate with them, the kids would look for Wolfwood and Vash so they could spend more time together. It wasn’t rare for the kids to go and sleep with either of them at night or taking naps with them, but those three particular children would always sleep with them, all snuggled up and warm in their embrace.
It was nice, it almost felt like a little family of their own. Wolfwood remembers how nice it was to live in the orphanage with the other kids, and Vash loved his time with Rem and Knives when they were little, not to mention the people at Home later on, but neither of them really had a grasp of something in their lives they could call wholly theirs, something stable, something constant.
Their stay at the orphanage lasted from their usual month and a half to two months, and then three, until they thought it was a good time for some time of their own back at their little house (living with so many kids always around the corner didn’t provide much space for privacy, much less now that the three kids would follow them as if they were their shadows).
The kids were disappointed and a little sad that their time to leave had come already, even if they had stayed longer than what they usually did this time. Their three little kids were the ones that looked the most anguished from them all, and neither Nick or Vash missed that detail.
When they arrived to their home, they cleaned first, the dust had settled in their house and they could barely move without gusts of it coming to invade their lungs. After they quickly got rid of the most they could they finally got to rest and get some alone time of their own.
The days passed, and the quiet time between them was appreciated, but it felt a bit too quiet. They had quickly grown used to the noise that came with being around the kids in that short time. Maybe it was thanks to the fact that their lives were much kinder now, but something inside of them itched at the thought of not having the kids by their side, of not being together.
They knew what it was after sparing it a second to think of it a bit more.
“You know, I think it would be nice if we stay in here for a bit longer” Vash said out of the blue one day while they were making breakfast together, a soft and genuine smile hanging on his face.
“Yeah, I was thinking the same thing” Wolfwood answered back with a smile of his own, focused at chopping a portion of vegetables a bit too big for two people, it was probably enough to feed five mouths perhaps.

Let it be known that my younger brother got me (his extremely asexual and most likely lesbian big sister) a birthday card with a shirtless man on it. The evil little shit.
I’m so proud.

The way they write sibling relationships in media (especially children media) can be so irritating. What do you mean the older sibling just absolutely hates the younger one? What do you mean? What is with the villainization of older siblings? The people who write like that were definitely only children because this is not how regular siblings work.
Like, if there's one person on the planet that could make me lose my cool, make me unbelievably angry, it's my sibling. What do you mean you took the last biscuit you little shit. I would also give both my kidneys to them if I had to. I'd give them both my lungs. I'd literally die for them. But if they dare to ask me to give them my favorite pen >:(

I like rereading books for the first time in like half a decade.
Like, it's just fun to reread Mistborn with Certain Events ingrained in my head but everything else just kind of not there. Like, things happen! I know that much!
Just looking at characters as they appear and being like
you live
you do not live
better men die before you, unfortunately
you live!
and you live!
by all intents and purposes sir you should be very very dead
I'm 90% sure that you die and I'm really sad about that :<
you die
you get to live
as I come across characters and tread onward in the plot, remembering as I go.
I have literally giggled and kicked my feet (violence is fun) as I reread this trilogy it's great.
Also my eyes feel like raisins and my brain hurts. Too many words. I binge-read this trilogy in like a week the first time and now I have even more stuff to do but I'm still reading it in like a week so my brain is being stretched.

The King's "Grandchildren"
DP x DC Prompt
Danny had been Ghost King for a long time now, and he's been slowly getting the Infinite Realms back into a stable environment.
Dani had returned to be his daughter after she had her fill of exploring the world. She had become the Crown Princess and enjoyed the trouble she caused sometimes. Though if things got too far out of hand, she'd get scolded by both her dad and Aunt Jazz.
When Dani had reached her adulthood, she had become attached to a particular city in a different dimension. A place called Gotham where the Wayne name was just beginning.
Dani is the oldest child of Danny, with Klarion, Child, and Nabu being her younger siblings. Those three have already made their presence in the world that Dani likes long before she found it.
The resident magicians of the world had mistaken Dani for the city spirit of Gotham because Dani is close to a neverborn than a Halfa, and Dani being the gremlin that she is fully goes along with it.
Dani had taken an interest in the Wayne family by the time Bruve was born, and she mourns the loss of Thomas and Martha, but she's happy to have them in the Infinite Realms to finally dote on them.
She really adores Bruce but wishes he could a little help with his things, but she also really loves the children he picked up, and Jason is her favorite.
Dani has told her family about her "children" in the Mortal realm, which has also caused Klarion to take in interest in playing with them, Child is indifferent, as she'd rather annoy Klarion and Nabu.
And then Danny is summoned by his son, Nabu, to deal with Klarion going a bit too far in his playing, with the entire Justice League there, which includes the entire Batfam.

My little brother is something else I swear that little devil spawn should be studied.
He said, while explaining a drawing of a monster he made, "someone went to a forest bc they thought that the myth about it being dangerous and they thought everyone else were scardy cats and they went anyway but the monster attacked and killed them."

Doctor Damian handles the medical needs of the Justice League and their children.
He is professional, competent, and kind. More importantly, he asks very few questions and is one of the few medical professionals who know how to treat metas and aliens without making them feel less than a person or some mythical saviour.
For the children and young heroes, he speaks to them like any adult. He may lecture them about ignoring his orders, but they have seen him do the same to Batman, so it doesn't feel as condescending. He keeps their secrets unless it's life threatening and doesn't judge.
He even brings in his pets on vaccination days and after big fights so they can act as therapy animals.
The doctor keeps drawers of snacks and food on hand for any who want them, and everyone who leaves his office does so with lollipops and stickers, so matter their age.
Superman especially likes the blue raspberry, and Batman gets little cow shaped stickers stuck to his cape.
Flash has to restock Damians snack drawer every time he or another member of his family empties it in a speedster snack emergency.
He is a very good doctor and the only one who can pull any JL member from duty at any time, no matter their seniority
His work and compassion earn him a fanclub.
Nightwing may be your favourite hero's favourite hero, but the entire Justice League will do just about anything for their doctor.
Damian is brought coffee after long shifts, and every hero team has his takeout orders memorised.
If he is out on the field, no one gets near him while he works on patients.
The kid heroes follow him like puppies, so Damian teaches them first aid and praises their progress in training.
Some even learn how to swordfight with the doctor.
Damian has snuck more than one into Gotham so they can volunteer at his childrens hospital like he did at that age.
Others join his siblings and hang out at his apartment when they need a safe space.
The younger heroes invite him to game nights and come to him for advice.
The older heroes treat him with more respect than Batman half the time.
Even Batman listens to his orders without question. He is the only one who can get away with lecturing the whole Bat clan without consequence.
Some newer members try to date him only to be met with a wall of protective clingy heroes with strong opinions.
One probationary member doesn't take Damians no as an answer and makes the mistake of bragging about how he will 'convince' him one way or another.
He is only alive because Black Canary caught them trying to sacrifice him to Santa Claus.
The guy is banned from League functions until he completely 200 hours of HR training and completes a pych eval.
He was not the only victim of the fan club but the one that taught the cape community a very important lesson.
Doctor Damian Wayne is to be handled extreme caution. He may have taken an oath to do no harm. His gremlins have no such mercy.
Needless to say, when Jonathan Kent realises he is in love with his best friend, he knows he will be in for the hardest fight of his life.
But Damian, who had managed to befriend even the surliest of heroes through the Alfred Pennyworth method of keeping them alive and well fed, was definitely worth it.
Jon asks Damian on a date when he is sure none of the man's baby heroes can hear them. 500 feet in the air.
Jon is bewitched by the way Damian blushes as he says yes.
Jon gets to kiss him after their first dinner, heart soaring as Damian deepens it.
As the weeks go on, Jon carefully starts to integrate himself into the hangouts Damian accidentally hosts at his apartment. He brings pizza and soft drinks.
Eventually, he is invited to game nights, earning respect and admiration through Ma Kents Pies and his gaming skills.
Jon teaches the younger heroes about mastering their powers and shares stories from the supersons, much to Damians embarrassment.
Slowly, the baby hereos comes to him with their problems. Come to him for comfort or just to use him as a not so human shield from a worried Damian.
When Jon slips up at a movie night and kisses Damian in front of the kids, he expects to be tackled or shot.
What he does not expect is for the young heroes to scrunch up their faces and shout ewwwww.
"Wait, You Knew!!"
"That you and Mom are together? Obviously"
"I am not a mother!" Damian shouts indignant.
Jon laughs "You kinda are though."
"You sleep on the couch tonight." He crosses his arms and walks away from them all.
"But Dames, Noooo," Jon whines as he gets up to follow.
"Mom and Dad are fighting!" One of the kids shout with all the other voicing their agreement.
