OH WAIT.

HELLRRRRRRRRR!! I've had this Ford au bouncing around in my brain for a hot minute and finally decided to put the idea on paper!

Meet Deprogrammed Ford, a Ford that's a husk of his former self.

In THIS lovely au, Ford, by the request of his muse, decides to work of bringing back the very old, and very unknown religion of ciphertology, himself as it's prophet (it made sense because he was the only one bill spoke to to Ford's knowledge)

He was working in the cult after the memory gun was made, but before Fiddleford left the project.

Instead of Ford realizing he's been betrayed and going into paranoia, and contacting Stan, bill lies to him more, refusing to come with his real plan, and convincing Ford to keep going with he plan. But before he can, he is apprehended by the society of the blind eye

They attempt to erase his memories, mostly of the ciphertology cult, and of his muse.

It doesn't work however, as bill and Ford's deal is still working. Bill isn't going to let Ford go that easily.

Years are spent trying to "deprogram" Ford from Bill, and ciphertology. By the time he's deprogrammed entirely, if you will, he's nothing more than a husk with memories and a brain.

Yeah. Anyway sorry bye.
