INITIAL OUTBREAK
The sirens started in the afternoon, and kept blaring for quite some time. At first, nopony knew what was happening and were confused before the hysteria and panic began after a pony started taking wild bites at others...
Tumblr media
LOCATION: CAROUSEL BOUTIQUE
Sweetie Belle had been asleep until the sirens began blaring. She was supposed to do some chores today, but she feels it'd be better that she postpones them.
Rarity would understand, right?
Tumblr media
LOCATION: NEAR PONYVILLE TOWN SQUARE
Scootaloo was in town running errands before the sirens started. She saw ponies running, and not wanting to wait around and find out, ran off.
She hopes it's nothing too serious...
Tumblr media
LOCATION: SWEET APPLE ACRES
Applebloom was excited to be trusted home alone when Granny told her she'd be going into town to check on why the sirens were blaring. It wasn't until the sirens stopped the next morning and Granny Smith hadn't yet returned that she started to worry.
Her last words to Granny haunt her.

Please, let me interrupt your scrolling with my pride and joy…. A blanket I started crocheting a mere 36 hours ago, and have crocheted a beautiful 17 rows (15 without the bottom two rows). Alas. He’s a beautiful work of love and omg I’m so happppyyyyyyyyyy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also it’s with one of my favorite yarns!!! My bff introduced me to it on Valentine’s day(I do joke she’s the love of my life) and I realized that it was just delicious. Well I bought 7 more cakes of it and I just *sigh* it’s so fucking delicious. I’d eat this shit if I didn’t know better. But I do know better so I’ll drape it over myself when I’m feeling extra pretty.
Also see what else I made from this yarn! This is made from the og cake of yarn. It’s my Valentine Bunny.
Tumblr media
Continuing: I plan to make a lovey for my newest baby cousin. So I gotta get the blanket done to see how much yarn I have left.
Thanks for reading my happy rambles. :)

Getting into trouble with aphids is something that Liam has made into a tradition with a certain group of ants when it comes to snagging some heheh
They're very familiar with them, so they do let them get away with it (sometimes) mostly when an ant Liam calls Granny is in charge of the "herd" of aphids.
They rope Scarab into snagging some with them at one point hence this :) They're the only one he allows to get away with things like this.

Granny made Chocolate Lava Cake for Dessert
Granny made Grandpa a Chocolate Lava Cake for dessert, and it was absolutely delicious! The rich, gooey center and the perfect balance of sweetness made it a hit with everyone. It's so good that this recipe will definitely become one to share with family and friends for years to come! This easy chocolate lava cake is a great dessert for dinner parties, family gatherings, or a cozy treat after a meal. It’s deliciously decadent and sure to impress anyone with its gooey, molten center! Enjoy!
Chocolate Lava Cake
Ingredients:
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
6 oz semi-sweet chocolate (or bittersweet chocolate, chopped)
1 cup powdered sugar
2 large eggs
2 large egg yolks
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
Pinch of salt
Optional for Serving:
Vanilla ice cream
Whipped cream
Fresh berries
Instructions:
Preheat your oven: Set your oven to 425°F (220°C). Butter and flour 4 small ramekins or oven-safe cups (about 6 oz size) to prevent the cakes from sticking.
Melt the chocolate and butter: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and chocolate together in 20-30 second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth and completely melted. Alternatively, you can melt them in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water (double boiler method). Once melted, set the mixture aside to cool slightly.
Mix the batter: In a medium bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, eggs, egg yolks, vanilla extract, flour, and a pinch of salt until smooth. Gradually pour in the cooled chocolate mixture, stirring until fully combined.
Fill the ramekins: Pour the batter evenly into the prepared ramekins, filling each about 3/4 full.
Bake: Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake for about 12-14 minutes. You’ll know they’re done when the edges are firm but the center is soft (it should look slightly undercooked). The top should appear set, but when you tap the ramekin lightly, it should jiggle a bit in the middle.
Cool slightly and serve: Let the cakes cool for 1 minute, then carefully run a knife around the edges of each cake to loosen it. Place a plate on top of the ramekin and carefully invert it. Gently lift the ramekin off to reveal the molten center.
Optional garnish: Top the lava cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, a dollop of whipped cream, or fresh berries for extra indulgence.
Tips:
For a richer flavor, try using dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher).
You can make the batter ahead of time, store it in the fridge, and bake it just before serving. If doing this, increase the baking time by a couple of minutes.
If you want to make this dessert for a crowd, you can easily double the recipe and bake in larger ramekins or even a muffin tin (adjust the baking time slightly).

Evadne Cake vs. Sarah "Granny" Aching
Evadne Cake
Mrs. Evadne Cake is a psychic medium, verging on small. She volunteers at all temples that she can find, taking over miscellaneous housekeeping duties and performing them so efficiently that soon no one else does them anymore. Unfortunately, sooner or later she invariably falls out with the priests (because she converses with the dead) and ends up leaving the temples in a mess because now nobody else knows how to do the housekeeping anymore. For this, Mrs. Cake is dreaded by all priests and priestesses across the continents, as far as the Lost Jewelled Temple of Offler, in Klatch, and maybe farther. Besides conversing with the dead, Mrs. Cake also has the ability to turn on or turn off her precognition, a very useful tool while walking the dangerous streets of Ankh-Morpork, but premonitions also make her conversation with normal people very confusing, because she tends to reply to a question right before it has been asked. Yet, if she has replied and then the person decides not to ask the question, she gets a terrible headache.
Sarah "Granny" Aching
Sarah "Granny" Aching (née Grizzel) would never have called herself a witch. She was a shepherd; she took care of sheep, and the Chalk where they grazed, and others who lived there, including the Nac Mac Feegle. While she was alive, shepherds would seek out Granny Aching to get help for sick sheep. After her death, they sometimes used to leave packets of Jolly Sailor tobacco where her hut used to be, with a wish. The Feegles dealt with the tobacco end of the business (after allowing a decent period for her to take it if she wished).

I discovered Blvck Bunnie and her Pound Cake Granny meme a few months ago and I feel like there is no better fitting vibe for me so I was compelled to make a piece of fan art.
I love what they are doing with having fun with elders, both of them seem to genuinely enjoy making reels, and they honestly just make me laugh in such a wholesome way. It reminds me of my (almost) 80 year old dad with is cane and his wife who still go to rock shows and party harder than I do.
This is the first time I’ve animated for fun in a long time, it was really hard for me to let go of my perfectionism and professionalism, but overall I’m really excited that I was able to participate in the trend and make my first meme reel 🔥 My 2024 resolution is to animate more, so keep an eye out for more stuff like this!
Thank you again to Blvck Bunnie and Granny for being HARD AF and letting me make this!
