On a roll with these- anyways, this happens frequently because Liam has a bad habit of staying up late when really interested in something. Leading to Scarab finding them awake at the crack of dawn and calling them out on it heh

Bugworld Au shenanigans essentially when Liam isn't around and its game night at the Time Room (and Scarab regularly waits for them there) Scarab gets along pretty well with Cosmic Owl in my AU, right here he's plotting to destroy Prismo in a card game basically lol He'll take any win he can get

Been doing a lot of other things and haven't had much time for drawing more Bug World AU stuff 😔 But I'm still working on it! Super slowly though RIP

This one is still among my favorite "comics" I've made for Scarab and Liam.

Figuring out Liam's outfits that they usually sleep in! They got more ensembles (mostly a lot more different shirts of various sizes and designs) but this is what I felt like dishing out so far for them They favor their Y2K shirt a lot out of all of them and its starting to get as beaten up as their old Centipede shirt. Liam's the kind of person who refuses to get rid of their favorite things to wear until they're unsalvageable (and even then they have them custom stitched back together by sewing shops to have an amalgamation of a shirt to wear of their old favorites)

First one is pretty much brought about with how if I get in a bad mood, thinking about my partner basically always cheers me back up heheh I don't show off Liam's bared teeth much, but they have some intimidating chompers for a human during their journey.

Also HC that Scarab gets a lot of aches and cramps- he's a really highstrung, stiff and proper kinda guy so I doubt he lets himself loosen up and relax. Constant tense muscles for sure. He'd get enthralled by massages Liam eventually gives him though

Back at it again with coloring old doodles and stuff! Lot of Scarab and Liam with these as per usual

Little story bit under the readmore- it takes place right before Liam's transformation into a mock Primordial!

Liam's mind went blank when The Beast's claw collided with Jake and sent him flying.

They couldn't hear Finn's sobbing and Scarab's shouts to stop and run away.

All that remained rushing through their thoughts was the image of the gouge sliced into Jake's shell, his body completely still the moment he hit the ground.

The vague sensation of their body moving in a frenzied rush and blinded rage- Vale and Chiron's mangled scraps of carapace-

Didn't pay any mind to the burning in their lungs, the snapping of limbs changing- the grip on their sword tightening. The sight of The Beast that tormented their every waking moment, that ripped apart their family- Snarling and baring its fangs right before them again!

Vague shadows of other humans screaming. Trembling, gentle hands hiding them away and telling them it'd be okay-

Tears stinging their eyes-

The sheer audacity that it was trying to do this to them again -to try and take away their little brothers!

Liam screamed from sheer frustration- their throat felt like it was on fire but they didn't care. Another wave of anger hit them when The Beast roared back in retaliation. Claws digging deep into golden scales- screaming again- swinging their sword wildly at The Beast as their heart hammered rapidly in their chest!

They won't let it take anything else from them! They won't!

They can't let it do this anymore...

They can't...

...

....

.....

......

........

Then everything was silent.

Some Bug World AU Dragonfly Trivia! Going to do things like this for a lot of the insect folk- but for now, the text and stuff in this are underneath the readmore! 👍

[Bug World AU: Dragonflies]

*munch munch* "Their first set of limbs are mainly for holding food/looking at things closely."

[The majority of Dragonflies enjoy partaking in hunts, but that doesn't mean that they won't say no to easier methods of getting a meal. Waterside Hive markets and restaurants get them as frequent visitors, since the fish products bring back pleasant memories as a Nymph.]

"Stay back! None may proceed past this point!"

[Dragonflies are a fairly common sight in Liam's homeworld, with many of them handling long distant couriering jobs that most insect folk wouldn't be able to make quickly. Especially when it comes to time-sensitive packages or navigating over dangerous areas with numerous Beast sightings.]

[Dragonflies have the lowest fatality rate amongst all the couriers! Packages are usually fastened right underneath the end of their thorax and start of the abdomen.]

[Most dragonflies prefer Polearm weapons.]

[Expert Dragonfly Couriers also act as scouts for B.A.R.C. members and Beast movement trackers. They make for good distractions against the massive creatures and buy enough time for others to evacuate and the Wasp support to arrive.]

[There's clothing and cloth shops run by silk producing insects.]

[They still need to be careful against Beast that get used to their speedy aerial maneuvers. The ones that don't get taken down by the Wasp teams become more dangerous since they recognize their tactics.]

"Some Insect folk enjoy wearing human clothing, but how compatible it is to wear varies form insect to insect. Dragonflies tend to like bracelets, rings, decorative cloth and the like. B.A.R.C. members tend to wear vibrant numbered custom "sashes" to signify what rescue team they're on.]

Some more silly Scarab and Liam stuff (with a tiny side of Scarab suffering from the time Liam- as a freshly turned cosmic being- was made to forget all their memories)

There's beaches in Bug World AU of course, but many aren't frequently visited besides the ones with aquatic hive cities nearby! Liam and their group pop by them rarely and it gives them some well needed down time

Ooough been struggling getting back into drawing- but got myself doing some more Scarab warm ups at least!

Been really busy again- and this took surprisingly longer than expected with coloring all 53 grublings

Scarab probably wouldn't like anyone seeing him as a doting dad (besides a select few of course)
