Autumn Blue-tit

More Bug World Au stuff, this time with Liam's soul and Scarab's parents! More Bug World Lore stuff about all this underneath :)

Scarab's parents are hella old- like extremely eons old. Which is why they didn't have too many eggs, and why he was a "runt" when he hatched.

The two of them are the longest lived of their kind and they used to be rivals when it came to shapeshifting, fighting contests, crafting magic crystal worlds/beings/objects ect.

The years they spent competing against each other led to them falling for one another.

They spoiled him but their kind doesn't name their children until they're 100% sure they'll survive. Which is pretty much guaranteed once the grub reaches its third "instar".

The both of them fed him lots of meat to bulk him up to try and make sure he was healthy. Once they were sure he'd survive they started giving him fruit treats from their planet (which he still orders batches of to snack on even as a God Auditor) they're very nutritious.

Deargadaol and Caeruleus are the top Crystal Forgers on their planet, and were directly involved in designing the Citadel for The Boss with their fellow kin.

They know of Scarab's achievements as a God Auditor. And while they're proud that their little grub is a hard working Cosmic Being now- they wish he'd take time to visit them every now and then.

Eventually the two do meet Liam (When they're a Cosmic Being), much to Scarab's surprise.

Our Planet Week Day 3: Within the trees

I started this in the morning, thinking about some blue tits I'd seen fighting a while back and some blackbirds who were fighting yesterday. I went out to a lake and walked home. At the beginning of the walk, I saw some blue tits fighting, which was a funny coincidence
