Carefully, Andrew stands up. Every muscle screams out in protest and he nearly crumples right back down. He is not built for all of this running around. He’s built for sitting at computers and editing film, and holding the camera while other people do crazy impressive things.

I went and saw Mandy at the Alamo Drafthouse in Westminster Colorado.

Great experience. Always wanted to see it in theaters.

I recently finished The Salt Grows Heavy by the outrageously talented Cassandra Khaw ... This book spoke to my soul. It is so beautiful that I could barely stand it at times. The writing took my breath away.  I heard Mother Horror talk about this and describe it like horror Over The Garden Wall for adults... This feels accurate. This mixture of folk whimsy and horror gets under my skin in the most delicious way.

He's not very expressive (monotone, eyes, & body language isn't too good) but he has many feelings. If you mention horror around him, it could talk for hours about it.

No one knows why he dosent grow much skin on his head, but it dosent cause him any pain somehow.

Andrew takes another step forward; ten foot from the wall, fifteen feet. The water comes halfway up the sides of his boots. His toes are so cold they’re numb. There’s no answer. Behind him, something snarls.

It’s very difficult figuring out how to share stuff from the sequel book without totally spoiling the first book, oops.

Splatterpunk & Extreme Horror books

If you didn't already know there are genres of horror books known as Splatterpunk & Extreme Horror.

Both book genres are extreme, depict horrific fictional violence, rape, torture very specific trigger warnings will be involved.

Both genres are not for the faint of heart, the squeamish, the easily offended or disgusted. These genre of books are not for everyone.

I’m like a gore hound except if it was gore pardus and I was a leopard draped luxuriously over the gold and black velvet couch of the person I am currently full and covered in the blood of
