didn't rlly feel up to put a spoiler warning but i figured id do it anyways so. intentionally vague spoilers for house md. i'm just sad.

i get they have to reach their one case per episode quota but it feels so fucking insensitive. dead on the floor then next scene they're doing a differential - yes, we don't know why he did it canonically, but god i get it. not in a suicidal ideation sort of way but like, they did not appreciate him at all. i'm sure next episode will be the usual shenanigans without a mention of him at all and that's fucking depressing. he was there then he wasn't and it didn't change anything. and that's why he did it, in my eyes. "i would've helped him if he had reached out" good sentiment but it's utterly useless when you think about how unclose the new fellows are. beating him down for his attitude, intellect and hobbies every episode and you didn't see anything? no shit.

don't get me started on the foreshadowing from earlier episodes with talks about suicide. unintentional or not, it was all i could think about leading up to this episode.

yes i am thinking too hard about fictional people, not smart enough to call it an analysis but. i connected with this character man, he helped me get thru the change from the old fellows to the new fellows. he was relatable, funny and i stg he came up with every right answer for half that season. yes i know his actor had to yada yada yada. it just would've been nice to imagine he went onto greener pastures, rather than be confronted by mortality and insignificance.
