was nervous to watch the new cats movie analysis because it was hard to judge the vibes, but now I'm happy to report that not only is it very knowledgeable about the stage show there's some very correct takes about widely accepted fanon in it

#cats the musical #cate talks cats #i'm only about halfway through but it's been pretty good so far #yes i AM talking about the wild macavity lore that everyone agreed on at some point--#--because on some level i think it's fruitless to talk about macavity as a physical cat with a backstory #it's doing exactly the same thing as the people who say everyone's competing to die -- making up a plot where there shouldn't be any #jennyanydots and rum tum tugger are not in a competition any more than the candy canes and reed flutes in the nutcracker are #just like macavity is no more a real figure than the rat king!#i'm not sure i agree with their other stance that bomba and deme can ONLY be read as romantic (maybe in 1998 but not always)#because there's also a lot of thematic analysis that can be done about their sibling dynamic as well as a romantic one #but like i said i'm only halfway through so maybe i'll find something i don't agree with later on lol #good video though!

A little animation I made of Dream and Nightmare for fun, it's pretty short and simple but not bad for my second go at animation I think ^^

Quick explanation for the song and a gif version under the cut

So when I was first dipping my toes into utmv stuff like a year ago, I made a slideshow for my sister with a bunch of au Sanses, let her guess what kinda vibe she thought they had and then gave her a list of names/ aus to see if she could figure out who was who (she did surprisingly well and I'm proud of her).

Well, when I first showed her pictures of Dream her immediate reaction was "this guy looks like he's from zelda" and it's just always stuck with me. Somewhere along the way I started headcanoning Dream playing some kind of instrument when they were kids and when I heard the pan flute version of zelda's lullaby everything kind of fell into place.

So here they are, having a little moment of peace finally, brothers together again c:

Who knows?#Edited the last panel to take out the speech bubble cause it looked like I was implying it was weird to eat bone marrow #But I meant the entire bone itself like the crunchy bit #But apparently they do that in some places so I thought that it might come across as a bit insensitive and I didnt wanna get cancelled.#eat bones if you want I would love to eat bones but I'm a coward #It's not really a thing in the UK I don't think. I've always wanted a plush of the cat from Ghost Trick! so when the Switch port was announced, I decided to go ahead and make one for myself! ...and then didn't think to post it until now, for some reason! I modified BeeZee Art's sitting kitty pattern to get the right shapes; he was made with many mistakes, but also much love. 🐈‍⬛

(everybody go play Ghost Trick, it is my favorite video game of all time! if you like unique puzzles and a really fun mystery, then you will probably also enjoy it! and as you can see, it has a cat!)

I was accepted to a paid video editing internship and a lot of the work is very reminiscent of what I used to do here. It makes me so happy to know that my silly little Tumblr blog gave me good practice :3 I hope everyone is doing well <3 Tell me what you're going to be for Halloween!
