My Headcanon Crafts for the House of Feanor:
Nerdanel: a sculptor; about the best in all of Valinor. Many of her early sculptures were praised, but also seen as a bit strange because they looked so real, but no one could identify any model they'd been based off of. Later, it would be recognized that she'd sculpted several of her own children, long before they were born.
Maedhros: an actor. Back in Valinor, he often played romantic leads in comedies and tragedies alike. He was very dramatic back in the years of trees, but got more subdued in Middle-Earth for... obvious reasons. A few of the posters for plays he was in made their way to Middle-Earth and got passed around Himring like contraband.
Maglor: a bard. While he often composed his own songs, he was also one of those charged with memorizing the old oral history of the Quendi– the elven equivalent of like, being able to memorize and recite the Iliad. Much of this early Elvish history was almost lost by the end of the First Age, and Maglor attempted to preserve it by writing it down. Eventually, those books ended up saved in Rivendell's library.
Celegorm: a hunter in Orome's train. Was famous for his ability to hit quickly moving targets through the thick forests of Valinor, even when mounted. He also enjoyed making various things out of the pelts, teeth, claws, and antlers of his kills. He's made very nice fur coats for several of his siblings and cousins.
Caranthir: a fiber artist; mostly focusing on weaving and embroidery. He's not sure whether to feel flattered or vaguely worried by all the Miriel comparisons. He insisted on making most of his family's formal clothing because all of Feanor's kids can get at least a little craft-related hubris. As a treat.
Curufin: a smith. His father was most famous for his jewelry, but Curufin would come to be known mostly for his weapons. They were so reliable that many of them lasted until the Third Age. There are rumors he poured some of his soul into the weapons he made for his brothers. But those are only rumors.
Amras & Amrod: painters. They specialized in incredibly detailed landscape paintings. I say "they" because all their works were done together; Amrod would make the sketch and darker linework and Amras would add the colors and shading. Their work was often very nostalgic and peaceful, with bright watercolors and gentle shadows.
Bonus! Feanor saved a lot of his kids' work from when they were really young and just starting their crafts. It's all what you'd expect from a small child's art, but Feanor still acts like they're masterpieces. His kids all think it's super embarrassing but he's really proud of them.
Headcanons for Finwe and his Children, the House of Fingolfin, the House of Finarfin, and the rest of the House of Finwe. Thanks for asking about Finwe's grandkids @hyperlexia-1 :)

I need more dad Curvo content in my life. Like come on. He raised Celebrimbor. I fully believe Tyelpë is how he is in part because of his father.
Curufin saw the problems within himself and FĂ«anor - the immense pride and paranoia - and made sure his son grew up strong, yes, but also kind. Nurtured that gentle side because even if it was too late for him, it wasn’t too late for TyelpĂ«.
(That’s what pushed him to follow FĂ«anor, to rush out of Valinor and find a way to defeat Morgoth: Curufin needed to make a world where his son would be safe, and that inspired a passion and ruthlessness his brothers could never understand. They didn’t know what it was to see your child’s fear and be unable to do anything to reassure them. When the Trees went out TyelpĂ« screamed, clinging to his father and mother with a sound that would haunt Curufin until his death.)
Little TyelpĂ« whose heart was so good and open and trusting, it broke him to see some of that light dim in Beleriand. He tried to create areas for Celebrimbor’s inherent optimism and gentleness to flourish and grow, but in a world steadily growing more dangerous, it became increasingly difficult. Then the Bragollach happened.
Finrod wasn’t his favourite cousin, but he saw the opportunity for TyelpĂ« to recover and thrive. To live without his father and uncles’ bitterness hanging over his head, and he took it.
With it Curufin made sure his son wouldn’t fall to the vices that haunted his family, guiding him to assimilate into Finrod’s city and take his half-cousin as a role model no matter how he hated it. Celebrimbor wasn’t the revenge driven elf his uncles and grandfather were, and if Curvo had done this right, he never would be.
So whether he purposefully pushed Celebrimbor away from the family or not, I’m sure a part of him was so relieved and proud when he stood up, back straight, head held high, and said ‘no.’
Curufin could never draw the line when it came to his father. But he made sure Celebrimbor could.
And as far as he was concerned, he’d succeeded in far better than regaining a silmaril by the time he was killed.

The reason I can't accept FĂ«anor slander is because he was literally failed by every single adult growing up and grew up to be mentally ill as a consequence of his happiness or well being never being prioritized.

Watching Bridgerton and My God all im craving rn is Valinor!Russingon with Regency Era courting style
Hand kissing, balls with big sparkly outfits, courting seasons, Maglor willing and ready to shoot Fingon for kissing Maedhros and breaking his brother’s heart and honour by not marrying him after (CAUSE ELVES ONLY MARRY/LOVE ONCE!!! HOW DARE YOU NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY!!!), a Russingon scene with the "I Burn For You" line
Feanor would also be just like Anthony at the beginning of season one, scaring the hell out of all of Maedhros' suitors until his wife forces him to back off, Maglor and Feanor alternate between telling Fingon to Watch Himself and treat Maedhros with respect
Oh and a scene with Nerdanel with a heartbroken-but-doing-his-best-to-hide-it Maedhros, asking him if he really does want to marry the Teleri Prince, because all she wants for him is to be happy and marry for love, not power, like she did. And Maedhros with a schooled face and heartbroken eyes, who knows his family NEEDS political ties, NEEDS a favorable connection like what a good marriage would bring, just smiles at his mother and says that this marriage would be a good thing, would bring their family honour. And Nerdanel’s heart breaks for her beloved son who was put through so much and is sacrificing So Much
All of the other Feanorians are also there and doing the absolute Most to be Problems On Purpose and getting front row seats to their eldest brother's train wreck of a love life

I desperately would love love LOVE to introduce Feanorians to a Quenyan version of Scrabble and watch them explode
I imagine that they'd make a bigger board to be able to fit 10-12 players and it would go on for days. With bickerings on the validity of words and with Moryo as the score keeper who can't quite keep his mouth shut and joins in on the bickering on wheter the word choice is "so fucking stupid, Tyelko. It should be banned on principle. What the fuck-". Each of the Feanorion just keeps on making up new rules especially after the Ambarussa makes up new words and argues for a whole hour and a half that it "totally counts as a word. Trust us, Nelyo-", that time Meadhros tried to pass a whole ass sentence as a "word", when Feanor took almost 12+ hours to think up an appropriate word to put down and etc.
Because come on guys. Ñoldor? "Those with great knowledge"? Feanor? The guy who created a whole ass writing system (the Tengwar)? His family? Who is just as intense and competitive as him? His step-siblings who would no doubt love an excuse to throw down without getting into trouble with the Valar or FinwĂ«? Scrabble is THE BEST for Ñoldor Family Game Night(s).
I can just imagine Feanor playing scrabble with FinwĂ«, Indis, NolofinwĂ«, ArafinwĂ«, ÍrimĂ« and Findis. Oh boyy. Findis is keeping score but everyone keeps trying to justify how they should have a higher score that word. Nolo and Feanor are shouting. Accusing each other for cheating. Ara made a throwaway joke once and suddenly BOTH his brothers are shouting at him. Indis saw the chaos and wanted to put away the game but was immediately stopped. FinwĂ« is just happy to spend time with his family. ÍrimĂ« is, in fact, the one who is cheating
Edit: More Feanorion shenanigans here! For part 2
Edit: And another! For part 3
Edit: Part 4!
[Edited to keep it to one post. Was too excited to post]

I have a thought rolling around in my head about how fandom has a very rigid, very bland, very one-dimensional idea of what a ‘good’ parent looks like, and how this vision is entirely fantasy and wish-fulfillment

Curufin and Tyelko reflect on how to deal with explaining the kinslayings to their daughters.
Introducing my oc's:
Post-reembodiment Curufinrod baby: Italmë* Ríëlairë (I'm naming the way I did when I was ten, by putting things together and hoping the dictionary is correct! It should mean Sparkling Blessing, and Summer Crown)
Everyday someone thanks Eru for the fact that she wasn’t born in the first age, girlie is feral! If Tyelpe is the best parts of Curufin and Finrod then she is the worst of them, but for everyone’s well being she was also born when Curufin and Finrod are at their best and most stable so instead of murder and destruction she is merely mischievous.
Curufin is rather upset that neither of his kids got his eyes.
(*: Father name slightly pending, my original idea was Italinquë, the Ita being non-negociable as it's meant to be a connection to Itarille/Idril, but linquë could be hyacinth, grass or wet, and while I think I could argue for grass I don't think I can for wet, other options being: Itarinya, Itelena/Italena, and Ithilmë)
And Post-reembodiment Aretyel baby: Mírestel Áraiel (should be Precious Hope, and Daughter of Dawn)
Aredhel and Tyelko fully decided not to get married (yes I am disregarding LaCE) and everyone got very confused when they anounced they were expecting (and Turgon very violent)
The birth gets Aredhel emotional because her whole family is with her this time.
Áraiel has a mean look, and considering Maeglin and Tyelko, a lot of people on first meeting think she’s a cruel person but she’s really nice and helps keep RiĂ«lairĂ« in check, again she is getting her parents at their best and stable, but she’s also getting Maeglin at his best and stable and so she really likes her older brother.
(This prompts her to become a smith which leads Tyelko to joke that Curvo is stealing his kids, plural)
Also, everyone decides on very special and meaningful names meanwhile Curvo just pulls a Nerdanel and goes "Look at my baby, it's the most beautiful baby, everyone should just look at the baby I made!"
Better background and no writing under the cut:

inspired by Jailbird by @jaz-the-bard. I like it very much! But I can’t shake this vision of an alternate option for Maglor in the Battle of the Black Gate...
[ao3]
The Lords of the West were fully surrounded. Aragorn, Eomer, and the others barely had time to position their banners before the orcs advanced, jeering and clashing swords on shields as they came. The great Easterling oliphants bellowed. Out of the shrouding darkness over Mordor flew the NazgĂșl, with their shrill shrieks that stole all hope.
Maglor set his hands once more to the harp Elrond's sons had brought south with them, which had survived dragonfire, Úmaiar, the end of a world and two Ages after that, and raised his voice and his Music in reply.
He did not Sing the Black Gates down (though he could have; they were strong but shatterable, to his keen eye). He did not Sing in direct counter to the Ringwraiths and their flying terrorbeasts.
He Sang the refrains which had once guarded Lothlann's wide plains and the battle cries which had once swept before the great Host of Eastern Beleriand faster and farther than the greatest arrow. He sang fear into the hearts of the enemy and courage into the hearts of his allies.
He Sang of the unstoppable valor and might of the House of FĂ«anor as it could have been, should have been, never was—still alight with the glory of Aman yet all the lessons hard-learned in Beleriand in the dauntless determination of their steps and the savage skill of their arms.
The army of darkened Men swept in from the north and Ambarussar darted and leapt through them with utter unpredictability, until you saw that no matter how far apart, they moved as one. Amrod shot how crossbow while Amras reloaded; Amras ran up an oliphant's tusk and took a gouging knife to its eye while Amrod stole a horse and hacked through its hamstrings.
Orcs came like a black flood from east and west. On one flank, Curufin wielded a slim duelist's blade that moved like lightning and an endless stream of knives, for blocking and throwing. Every one found their perfect mark. Celebrimbor stood back to back with his father, with his great two-hander and three shining rings upon his fingers. Sauron's creatures burned before they touched him.
Caranthir met the other flood with the eclectic, deadly style he'd created himself, with moves from dwarves and men as well as every kind of elf. He fought with twin short-swords and brutal efficiency.
Trolls roared and wargs howled. Celegorm leapt toward his favorite foes with not just Treelight in his eyes, but the extra shine of one beloved of a Vala. In his right hand he wielded his great war-spear and at his left came Huan LĂșthiendil, greatest of OromĂ«'s Hounds.
Maedhros fought one-handed toward the Black Gate itself, the only irreconcilable fact—but Maedhros had never truly fought one-handed. The shield strapped to his right arm smashed into an orc's face as his sword swept another through the belly. His copper curls were the streaming banner under which East Beleriand had united time and time again, and he was alight with a flame that Dagor Bragollach itself had never matched.
And Maglor himself moved among them, of course. One hand on his battle-harp and one on his blade, and Song on his lips. It is said that the great elven-bards of old could conjure images with their song, and here one was one of the greatest. He poured millennia of bitter grief and unexpected hope into his memories of what had never been, and they did more than dance to his Song—they fought. Curufin's knives and the twins' arrows both flickered and faded after they found their marks, but they left blood and torn flesh when they did. Two of the NazgĂșl dove for Huan, recognizing their master's ancient foe; with a savage trill of notes, he and Celegorm beheaded the first beast and the second ghost. Caranthir shoulder-checked a falling troll so that it toppled sideways rather than forward onto young Pippin.
...and there Maglor stopped, in summoning the House of FĂ«anor to the field. Let them fight in the following of Aragorn son of Arathorn, Isildur's heir and Elros's!
Still, he was nearly exhausted by the time the Eagles came, and the dark tower began to shake.

Celebrimbor Ex-Feanorian, An AU (1/4)
From this post (Feanor and Curufin are very much NOT good dads in this AU)
Curufin is trans and married to Finrod. They have Celebrimbor, who has silver hair.
As Feanor grows more and more paranoid, their relationship frays.
Celebrimbor follows his family to Alqualonde after the silmarils are stolen, where Finrod has taken him a couple times.
He's nearly killed when a few of the Noldor mistake him as a Teler because of his silver hair. Curufin protects him.
After most of the fighting is over, Feanor finds the two of them. Celebrimbor is shaking, hiding behind a statue and clearly still scared to death.
Feanor orders Curufin to follow him, and leave Celebrimbor behind because he's too young and he has teleri blood, so he's not trustworthy. Which is so not a thing to say to a young child. Celebrimbor starts begging to come too.
Curufin sighs and gives him a dagger. He tells him to stab anything that moves and to find family elsewhere. He and Feanor head toward the ships, toward the others.
Celebrimbor sits on the dock and cries, long after they've taken the boats elsewhere.
The Arafinweans arrive, and Finrod finds him. Celebrimbor flings himself into Finrod's arms and Finrod holds him.
Finrod takes Celebrimbor back to the palace in Alqualonde, where the Arafinweans are, and Celebrimbor tells him what happened.
Finrod is furious. He tells Curufin that he'll break his bones and then breaks their marriage bond.
Finrod decides to go to Middle-earth, eager to explore and to rain terror down upon the Feanorians for abandoning Celebrimbor.
