☆ Get to know me :) (updated)☆
Hi! A bit of info to start with: I'm a minor; a lesbian; and a cis girl (she/her).
Ethnicity and language
I live in England and currently only speak English fluently however I am currently studying both French and German! (German is definitely my favourite of the 2)
Subjects and Interests
My favourite subjects are Maths and Classical Civilisation but I enjoy most subjects. (Lessons can still suck tho bc dam some teachers can be boring)
I enjoy drawing, playing games, reading (books and fics), listening to music and watching youtube.
Video games
I have a few favourite games at the minute:
• Hades
• Horizon: Zero Dawn and Forbidden West
• Genshin Impact
Finished games I still love:
• Astro Bot (its a vr game abt a little robot)
• Spiderman PS4
• Spiderman PS5 Miles Morales
• Portal 1 and 2 ♡♡♡
I am also 100% a completionist so if I finish a game I probably have 100% on it.
Reading
My fav books are everything Rick Riordan but i plan to read some other stuff as well soon.
My fav characters from the main series are Nico, Leo, Frank and Lester/Apollo but I do love pretty much all of the main cast. I haven't read Magnus Chase or Kane Chronicles since I was a kid so I'm gonna reread those before deciding favourites but I think they were Alex and Carter. Also, in love with all of the side characters even if they are 90% hc.
My fav canon ships/friendships are
• solangelo (Will x Nico)
• percabeth (Percy x Annabeth)
• frazel (Frank x Hazel) (But I do hc that either Frank was younger or Hazel was older bc the age gap was a bit strange in canon, being 13 and 16. Its a bit inconsistent , as all ages are in PJO, but if time works normally Hazel should be 14 and therefore definitely older than Nico too but thats a topic for another time)
• shelper (or shipper as I like to call them) (Shel x Piper)
• Lost trio (platonic)
• PJO trio (platonic) (Grover my baby, why must they always forget you)
• Lester and Meg (I dont think i have to say this but platonic) (please say I don't have to say that. No one ships that right)
• Reyna and Thalia (platonic) (omg let aroace characters exist in peace) (no hate if u ship it but my gods)
Fanon ships/friendships
• Valgrace (Leo x Jason) (but aroace Leo is still amazing)
• Pollen (Apollo x Darren) (Is this entirely about Dear Reader by wrongcaitlyn? Yes. Do I care? Nope. Am I insanly invested in their relationship? Oh absolutely.)
• Nico and Leo (platonic) (This had no reason to not be canon and had every reason to be and I will never forgive Rick for this until he fixes it)
• Frank and Leo (platonic) (I swear every book they would fix their relationship and then as soonas the next one starts they would hate each other again)
• Nico and evey side character ever (platonic) (especially year round campers) (bc hes genuinely just a nice guy)
• Will and Clarrise (platonic) (this is kinda canon but all we really know is that he can calm her down)
Feel free to ask for fic recs if u want them.
Music
My fav music artist is 'Grandson'. (He writes rock/alternative/indie/rap (?) music often about political/social/personal issues.)
But I listen to tons of other kinds of music too from metal to pop to instrumentals by a ton of different artists:
• Måneskin (italian rock band)
• Polyphia (instumental, primarily guitar, math rock)
• Chappell Roan (yk who that is)
• Chase Atlantic (u have probably heard at least 1 of their songs, pop/alternative/indie/r&b)
• Dutch Melrose (alternative/indie/pop)
• Mother Mother (yk who that is right?)
• Eminem (right?)
• MSI (punk/alternative/rock)
And a whole lot more
I also play guitar (acoustic and electic).
TV
Loveeee Spiderman: Into and Across the spider verse.
My fav characters are Miles, Hobie, Pavitr, Spidernoir and Gwen but I love all of them.
Shows:
• Avatar the Last Airbender
• The Legend of Korra
• Batman: the animated series
• Voltron :)
Beliefs
Im an atheist but I support people of all religions. I support Palestine. I am left liberal (again I'm British so keep that in mind, I know nothing abt US politics besides the basic/well known stuff). I believe in equal rights for all groups and am open to other ideas and perspectives.
If you cant respect that then please get of my page. You don't have to agree with me but you do have to respect me and others.
Thats all for now.
Byeee ♡♡♡

I’ve been rekindling my love of Batman and the Joker the past few days. I re-read the first couple volumes of the New 52 Batman graphic novels, flipped through my physical copies of Death of the Family, Killing Joke, etc, then started playing Arkham City.
I chose that one because it’s the one I’ve played the least of, it’s not my favourite at all. And no one asked but I’m gonna rank them.
1. Arkham Knight
2. Arkham Asylum
3. Arkham Origins
4. Arkham City
Though I’m not a fan of the driving/Batmobile parts in Arkham Knight, I do think it was necessary to have a vehicle in that big of a map, and some of the boss fights with the Batmobile were truly awesome. I loved the story in this one most of all, and the ace chemicals twist is one of my fave moments in any game I’ve played.
Edit: as if I forgot about the costume changes?! I can’t even explain the joy of walking around Gotham as Adam West Batman with his drawn on chalk eyebrows and still managing to intimidate people. Peak hilarity.
These games overall just have great storytelling, imho, but the best examples of these have to be Knight and Origins. Asylum really only goes above Origins because it was the first and I played that game back to back about 6 times, getting all the riddles and trophies each time, and my love of that game had me picking up City, Origins and Knight at launch. (Midnight launch for Knight- collectors edition and PS4 too).
The Joker memories scenes in Origins are just awesome and I completely love the storytelling visuals from that game.
City is my least favourite really just because of the AR challenge introductions, the awkward riddler traps… but again, we had a pretty good twist in there. It’s not my fave of the franchise but I still adore this series and they’re all in my top 10 all time fave games, for sure.
I have not yet been able to play Gotham Knights cus of money issues and life in general but I’m getting paid this week and I may treat myself. Though I hear it doesn’t hold a candle to the previous games… even with the Court of Owls being in it (and I do love me some Court of Owls).

Top 10 Video Games of All Time: bobgoesw00t Edition (Part 05)
Tumblr media
OK people, WE’RE OFFICIALLY HALFWAY THROUGH THIS LIST!!! Not gonna waste any time here, so my Number 06 Video Game of All Time is:
FINAL FANTASY XV
This takes the spot as it’s the Final Fantasy that I personally was waiting for. The first main entry in the franchise to have a 100% real time, action combat system. The previous games in the franchise had battles in real time, yes, but not in the same vain as the Star Ocean or Tales of series. The game was basically a hybrid of real time but with turn-based inputs and while that can make things intense, NOTHING beats being able to run circles around the enemy and hitting the ever loving shit out of them while having to avoid/guard any attacks they might throw your way. So when it was first revealed that combat for this title would be similar to Kingdom Hearts and the other two JRPG series I mentioned, I was FUCKING ECSTATIC!
The story is also one of my favorites in the series as it starts off with, “ROAD TRIP!!!” but quickly becomes a tale of taking back everything that was taken from Noctis while becoming the standard “Save the World” ending at a pace that’s just PERFECT!!! There are also subtle little changes in the game that you literally don’t notice unless someone brings it up, the big one being that as the game progresses, the days steadily become shorter. The party will wake up at a later hour after resting, and the nights come quicker, leaving more time for the demons to play. It’s literally so fucking subtle that after watching a video that mentions it on YouTube, I CAN’T UN-SEE THE CHANGE!!!!!
Of course, this being a Final Fantasy game, it wouldn’t be complete without Chocobos, which are SO MUCH FUN TO RIDE!!! One of the quickest/cheapest ways to get an asston of EXP is take a bunch of bounties, park the car on the road and then use the Chocobos to run around and kill the monsters (usually staying awake for the night as the Demons do give a good amount of EXP), then fast traveling back to the car and turning the quests in.
As for the car, that’s one of the best parts of the game IMO cause after you’ve cleared the story, IT TURNS INTO THE AIRSHIP FOR THE GAME. YOU LITERALLY GET A FLYING CAR AND IT’S ;OGVHJASPGAUGHPAO H SO AWESOME!!!!!!! It’s surprisingly relaxing to just take off in the car, listen to some of music from the previous games and just fly around for a bit.
FFXV is also one of the easier games to get the Platinum Trophy (or every Achievement if your on Xbox) on and it’s one nine games I’ve gotten the Platinum for (the others being Assassin’s Creed Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla, Batman Arkham Knight, Ghost of Tsushima, Kingdom Hearts III, Resident Evil 6 on the PS4 and Pider-Man), making it a good choice for anyone looking to get the final trophy. The only real roadblock you’ll encounter will be killing the Adamantoisem, which isn’t that hard to kill. It’s mostly time consuming due to it’s MASSIVE health pool and if Noctis and friends are under-leveled, it’ll be an uphill battle for sure. I waited until Noctis was around Level 110 I think, and the rest of the part was over Level 99, took some spells that had the “Limit Break” perk on them so they could deal insane damage and then made sure to go after the things eyes. Also helps out if you’ve unlocked the “Air Dance” ability and use a sword so you can keep the pressure on the beast, and use any summon that decides to help you to chop a chunk of it’s health off. It ended up taking me about 90 minutes to kill the Adamantoise and nail the Platinum Trophy which was a far cry from the “72 real life hours” that people were saying in some previews. That being said, if you try to kill the fucker at any point prior to the post game…it could potentially take that long.
Also want to give a shout out to Yoko Shimomura for NAILING the soundtrack for the game, with MASSIVE props to two songs in particular, Apocalypse Noctis and APOCALYPSE AQUARIUS which play during the boss fight against Titan and Leviathan respectively. Fighting against two MASSIVE DEITIES that could EASILY squish you if they really wanted to WHILE THE ORCHESTRA AND CHOIR ARE GOING BALLISTIC IS ONE OF THE MOST INTENSE MOMENTS I’VE EVER HAD PLAYING A VIDEO GAME!!! And it’s somehow EVEN MORE INTENSE AND EPIC during the Trial of Leviathan because Noctis will spend the majority of the fight IN FUCKING GOD MODE!!! HE’S LITERALLY JUST WARPING AROUND THE PLACE FLINGING THE ROYAL ARMS AT THE SEA GODDESS AND BREAKING HER FINS WHILE THE SAME SONG FROM THE TRIAL OF TITAN IS BLASTING BUT WITH ADDED ELECTRIC GUITARS FOR EXTRA “OOMPH”!!!!! I STILL don’t know how she managed to top the insanity that was Apocalypse Noctis with APOCALYPSE AQUARIUS but SHE FUCKING DID!!!!!!!!!! I ALWAYS look forward to those boss fights and get goosebumps when the songs start up and I HAVE to BLAST IT AS LOUD AS I CAN STAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!
…OK, now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, I want to mention how this is first game that I literally have ZERO issues with. I didn’t have an issue with only being able to control Noctis before they added the ability to switch to the other three characters and I HIGHLY suggest getting the Royal Package/Edition so you can get the accessories for the other characters that can totally BREAK THE GAME when you control them. The one that gives Prompto infinite ammo for his SMG lets you just SHRED enemies to bits and it’s stupidly fun to just sit back and go, ‘PEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEW!!!!!“ while the enemy sort of just flails about.
So from a great story with perfect pacing IMO, to an battle system that’s actually, real time action oriented, one of the greatest casts of characters in the series, and probably the best soundtrack in a Final Fantasy game from Yoko Shimomura, this otaku give Final Fantasy XV Five Warp Strikes out of Five: 5/5
Honorable Mentions:
Final Fantasy XII:This is the only other game in the series that I feel had a perfect balance between the battle system, the various gameplay systems, story, cast, music and level of enjoyment.
Kingdom Hearts III:The epic conclusion to the Dark Seeker Saga, with the best combat the series has ever had, DLC that extends the ending PERFECTLY while also giving us some more questions about the future of the franchise, awesome music also from Yoko Shimomura, my favorite World Map and Gummi Ship, an ending theme from Hikaru Utada that makes me cry every time I play the game (Don’t Think Twice is the best theme she’s provided IMO) and my favorite part…NOMURA CONTINUING TO BE THE BIGGEST TROLL IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE!!!!! INSANE SPOILERS FOR ANYONE THAT STILL HAVEN’T BEATEN KINGDOM HEARTS III BY NOW…like by best friend Nolan cause he insisted on playing all the previous games IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER WHICH YOU SHOULDN’T DO EVER!!! Nomura making the Black Box seem like a big deal for a good chunk of the game, it FINALLY SHOWS UP IN THE EPILOGUE and we’re about to find out something…CUT TO BLACK AND WE STILL DON’T KNOW WHAT THE FUCK IS IN THAT FUCKING BOX!!!!!!! Also have to mention: Kingdom Hearts II.9 (we see what you did there Nomura >_<), Sora and the other half-pints breaking the fourth wall in Olympus about the lack of a fanfare and probably the best troll moment in the ENTIRE GAME…putting Let It Go almost FRAME FOR FRAME AS IT APPEARS IN FROZEN ROUGHLY HALFWAY THROUGH DERPENDELLE!!!!!!! You just KNOW everyone LOVED getting that song stuck in their head for the millionth time…NOT!!!!!!! I was also torn between having this game or FFXV at Number 06 but I went with the latter cause I got he Platinum for it first xD

///Just a little (I mean, a lot) of extra information about me, the mun, along with a reason for this information.  I have a lot of pre New52 DC comic knowledge. And the DCAU. (the Timm cartoons! Not every animated DC thing is a part of the DCAU, think of it as like the MCU and the X-men movies not being canon to them?) I’ve played all of the Arkham games and i am sad that I can’t play origins on PS4. =( Years ago, I roleplayed DCAU Bruce Wayne, Terry Mcginnis, and Mr. Freeze. Arkham Verse Batman (with some divergence, wasn’t pleased with the ending.) and Riddler. With my SO I played like half of the old JLI roster. I felt the most attached to my DCAU muses, and even considered remaking my Terry Mcginnis blog before coming back here.  I also have read a lot of the Green Lantern Corps. comics from before new 52. just around the time other lantern colors started showing up. Then the blackest night/brightest day comics after. And I have played DCUO for years, still play it! And just *before* Superior Spider-man I had read every single issue of Amazing Spider-man. (now with my ADHD, i can misremember some things but ive retained most of it because it was a special interest.) I did read all of the first bursts of Spider-verse comics and Spider-man/Deadpool official comics. Read Miles’ first Spider-man run. Watched into the Spider-Verse. (hands down my favorite superhero movie at all. Closely followed by Spider-man No Way Home) And watched every other Spider-man movie.  (I do not like the concept of superior spider-man. I was reading for PETER not Doc Oct. =/ they did my boy dirty.) I’ve played the first PS4 game and have been meaning to play the second, because I also love Miles to pieces.  I used to roleplay PS4 game Peter Parker, with of course some divergences.  The last superhero thing I have extensive knowledge about is, Miraculous. I’ve played Marinette. Waiting for the next disaster season. The point is that I have a lot of love for comic muses. I know a lot about the background of the base universes of these kinds of muses. I think due to the fact that multiverse is a thing for all of these (except Miraculous *for now*) and the fact that Danny is a superhero who has been to other universes in some media, is at least in part why I’m so into the idea of crossovers for muses with these fandoms. (the other reasons being that I just love those muses and i’m kinda almost forced to do *mostly* crossover rp in general.) anyway, the ADHD has taken hold and I’m just gonna keep going on if I don’t stop. So, I’ll go back to getting my kitchen cleaned for breakfast/lunch.

Marvel’s Avengers got me concerned...but it’s over humanity. Not the game.
So we’re just exiting the 2nd Beta Weekend. This one was open to a lot more people, a lotta hands got to touch this thing, get to see whussup and finally feel what it’s about. You’d think after this, a good majority of people would start to level out, be less confused and cut the game some slack.
No. No, this is not what happened. In fact these are some of the most bullshit claims I’ve ever seen in my entire life. There’s so much shit, I can’t even keep it all together. One second people are claiming that characters don’t feel different from each other. To the next that the game feels scripted. That it’s too easy. That’s it’s too hard. That it’s ridiculous that they’re playing Hulk and they got defeated. And if they play Hulk they should never get defeated--w-WHAT?!
To mini-rant for a second, you know in 2005′s Hulk Ultimate Destruction game, Hulk could get taken out by something as humanly trivial as a bunch of shooting helicopters and missiles. You know that right?? And I’m not source referencing; I put a LOT of fucking hours into that damn game. It was (and really still is) the best Hulk video game there is. People goddamn love that game. And you’re complaining because this game can spawn a fucking Omac (Yes they’re called Adaptoids in-game, I’m aware) that immediately establishes a presence that tells you they could probably punch goddamn Superman in the face and make that shit do injury. And after he’s done an insane amount of damage, it’s downright BATSHIT that he made your Hulk crouch in the corner to take a time out. Yeah. Okay.
This illustrates my point beautifully though. There are too many people that if they aren’t saying completely dumb shit; (I’m still reeling at people that have played this game and think the characters all feel the same) then it’s something overly critical like the game is a looter shooter and that the missions are repetitive. Like some of these same people don’t play Destiny or Fortnite in where you do the same shit over and over again. “Wahhh, this game isn’t single player like Batman: Arkham or Spider-Man ps4″ ---- NOBODY EVER SAID THAT IT WAS GOING TO BE. Nobody promised this to you! These are all things that are biased from you worldview and therefore you feel should be the case. And you know what? That’s fine.
You’re within your rights to want something. But nobody -- absolutely goddamned nobody -- is entitled to give it to you. And a lot of you need to be fucking adults and realize that something is not ‘shit’ just because it’s doesn’t meet your ultimate vision.
Which also boggles me. This game is damned amazing. They’ve managed to pack so much fanservice into what they’re bragging is not even a quarter of the final product. You mean to tell me you’re going to overlook that you can fly around freely as Iron Man and give your teammates cover fire with an assortment of lasers and rockets while your friend as Hulk on the ground has picked up two enemies to make his bitches, and is repeatedly beating other bitches with his said bitches? Just because there’s no open world? Really??
I mean just to hammer home the point how dumb people have gotten with this complaining; there was one mother fucker that said this game shouldn’t be called Avengers because it basically had none of them. None of the core Avengers like Spider-Man and Vision. And Wolverine.
This kinda shit...this makes me lose faith in humanity. I know a lot of you are better than this. And you should be ashamed. These are some of the most entitled, spoiled, negative mindsets I have ever witnessed and it’s all over a beta. Now the game could come out and it could be lackluster. In which case; some of you would be within the right to be bitching so hard. But how dumb are y’all gonna look, if it does come out and it meets pretty damn high expectations? There have been some games that have had really really worse betas than this and come out pretty good at launch. You mean to tell me you guys can’t see a bigger picture? That things could turn out for the mind blowing? You all might want to start to. Because anyone could tell you there was a lot of work put into this game -- they actively don’t want it to be shit. (They want your money and time) So they’re going to keep improving; it only goes up from here. The beta is a great place to go up from. But you know what’s not? Fucking people that spout dumb shit and act like pansy little brats over good  work. You guys want good games? You’re not going to keep getting them with that attitude. What sane people would be motivated to put in all the time, passion, blood sweat and tears when you have hundreds of rabid nonsensical people tearing it down???
The answer is not a lot.
Rant is over. I’ve been tired of hearing really stupid shit about this game. It’s all so unnecessary. I think there are a lot of people in this world that should be more grateful than they actually are. All this negativity as we progress further into life is not the answer. As a species we should learn not to be content with just any old thing, yeah. But we don’t also pick apart everything to goddamn death and demand absolute perfection as our eyes see it. Balance. We need to constantly work to strike it. As humans.

Arkham Asylum
So I just got the Arkham Collection, and I'm gonna try to bust through all of them about a decade too late, but that's usually how I roll. First up: Arkham Asylum.
My first mistake was starting this right after beating Spider-Man for the PS4 because I inevitably started comparing them mentally. Asylum was about a decade before and also was trying for something completely different. The first is the battle system; it's much clunkier and feels off. Assassin's Creed II was released the same year so it's not as if the technology wasn't there, but I'm wondering if it's because Asylum emphasizes so much on stealth that it's trying to discourage the player from engaging. Part of the problem is there's no healing and thus very little forgiveness for mistakes. If someone has a gun, you're more or less screwed because three hits and you're dead. But even other weapons or just too many opponents are very difficult to overcome. If you're sneaking around, fine. I can pick them off. However a mandatory fight can fuck you over quick. It's just somewhat surprising for a dude who supposedly knows dozens of martial art styles and has a belt of gadgets, he seems to be unable to take a couple of guys with ease.
Speaking of Batman, I think my biggest problem with the game itself was his idiocy. In a universe of people who can fly, control sea creatures, or lift cars with ease, what he brings to the table are his resources, cleverness, and contingency plan for almost every scenario. So you'd imagine after being gassed once by Scarecrow, you'd fucking wear a gasmask or something, not just deal with it another two times. Don’t fucking tell me he doesn’t have some sort of protection in that Batcave of his.
What's worse is how he continually tells people to wait here because they'll be safe. They won't. They're not. Yet for one group of people he advises to fortify the door and guess what? They survive! Too bad he never told anyone else that or maybe guide them to that location. I counted and literally only eleven people walk away from this night alive. The first group, fine, I don't think Batman knew the extent of what he was dealing with, but once you start seeing the prisoners leaving bodies hanging from the ceiling, I think it's best he not leave people just standing around the greenhouse as if they're going to be OK.
In terms of plot, it was fine and interesting to see how Joker's plan unfolds. Although I would prefer to see the entirety of Gotham, I like the claustrophobic feeling of being stuck on the island during a massive prison break. I understand they wanted this to be horror, but I look at the facility and wonder why hasn't this facility been shut down because it wouldn't even pass building code, and what year did they think this game would take place because no sanitorium would look like this after c.1950? I think the designers pushed this theme to the point the architecture just got nonsensical, like public showers in the weirdest of places (right next to the welcome desk to the penitentiary) or a morgue literally right outside the doctor's office in the admin building.
The lineup here is Zsasz, Bane, Harley, Scarecrow, Poison Ivy, Killer Croc, Riddler, and Joker, some of whom you never actually fight. Unfortunately for most of the boss fights they just follow Bane's fighting style and pattern, so there's less variation. Scarecrow is the same fight thrice, and Killer Croc is the most annoying section of the game where you have to walk extremely slowly so he doesn't detect you, except he jumps out of nowhere every thirty seconds anyway to attack you.
Probably my favorite part of the game was solving the riddles and unlocking profiles to see references to all sorts of Batman baddies. Tweedledum and Tweedledee! I completely forgot about those dudes. Getting the goddamned camera to focus on it and accept that I'm staring at the solution is a whole other problem though.
Overall though, I did enjoy the game and am glad I played it. The buildings and environment are fun to explore, the story and characters are engaging, the voice acting is good (bringing back the animated series I see), and I did feel my heart pumping a lot of the time as I tried not to get caught. I wouldn't say it's the most amazing thing I've ever played, but good work guys.

Fic Author Tag Game
AO3 Name: Traincat
Fandoms: Currently it’s fairly exclusively Fantastic Four and Spider-Man comics, particularly the 616-verse, with some works for related fandoms.
Number of fics: 102 posted on Ao3.
Tagging @bipeteparker @moonwolfhowl @mishatheberry
1) Fic you spent the most time on: The Boy From New York City, my The Amazing Spider-Man/Fant4stic Spideytorch movieverse fic, definitely. I started it in 2015 and posted it in late 2018. A lot of that wasn’t active writing time -- I wrote about 50k of its 80k wordcount in 2018. But it was a fic that I spent a lot of time on and a lot of energy devoted to, trying to figure out what the best way to tell the story was, playing with different point of views, what the actual plot was going to be, what I wanted it to say, and that’s not counting the amount of times I watched TASM/2 and Fant4stic to try and nail down everything just how I wanted it. Andrew Garfield’s Peter Parker speech patterns are SUPER specific and I wanted to get them DOWN. I also wanted things to play out in a very cinematic way, like a third installment of The Amazing Spider-Man movies. So a lot of time went into that fic.
2) Fic you spent the least time on: To Have and to Hold, an Into the Spider-Verse fic about May Parker and Olivia Octavius getting married, much to Peter’s distress. I think I wrote it in like a day.
3) Longest fic: The Boy From New York City, at 84,500 words.
4) Shortest fic: wrap yourself around me, a really short Spideytorch clothes sharing fic. It’s under 500 words.
5) Most hits: The Masked Man (Who Has Everything), an X-Men: First Class Erik/Charles fic I wrote back in 2011 to answer a very important question on the old LJ kink meme: what if Magneto was Batman? It has like, almost 75,000 hits, so. That was an easy one lol.
6) Most kudos: It’s also The Masked Man (Who Has Everything), so my second most kudosed fic is Keep Throwing Things and Slamming the Door, one of my first Spideytorch fics.
7) Most comment threads: To Have and to Hold again! Which is kind of nice since it’s relatively new. It did get some pretty big recs though so I’m not all that surprised.
8) Fave fic you wrote: Oh that’s a tough one. I have a couple of favorites -- I really like the fics in my Tales From the Back Pages series, which is a Spideytorch soulmates AU that plays with the very early days of canon and reimagines it within a world where soulmates are a known phenomenon and Peter and Johnny are each other’s. It’s fun to take canon events that are really familiar and go, what do they look like in this world where everything is the same but also there’s this one really big difference? The Boy From New York City again because I worked on it for so long and at the end I pushed myself really hard to make it exactly what I wanted it to be and I’m really proud of the end result. It’s also one of those fics where I feel like writing it made me a better writer ultimately because I was pushing myself so hard to be like, worthy of what it was in my head. Work Song, which is a Spideytorch canon rewrite of the aftermath of Superior Spider-Man. Another one where I feel like I learned a lot by writing it and where I’m really proud of the end result, even if I did have to read all of Superior Spider-Man to write it. Cat's Cradle, a Spider-Man PS4 Peter/Felicia fic about their maybe-baby from the DLC, because I really loved writing that fic. Night Blooms, a Victor Von Doom/Reed Richards fic based around Reed’s connection to the alternate universe Victor from Marvel Two-In-One (2017) #11, because canon gave me so much to work with there and because it was a Yuletide fic for @portwinestains where I knew I could give her exactly what she wanted and I just went for it. Writing that one was a blast and I got to dig into such a rich canon relationship. It was fantastic, even if while I had to like, try and subtly find out how much infidelity Aysha was cool with without letting her know what I was doing.
And then there’s Hands On where I like, REALLY wanted to be the first person to write Spideytorch smut featuring six arm Spider-Man. And I was. And weirdly that genre of fic hasn’t taken off? Look, you just need to keep very detailed notes for yourself about where all eight hands involved are.
9) Fic you want to rewrite/expand on: There are a couple! They’re expansions, not rewrites. I don’t think I have anything finished that I feel I would want to rewrite from scratch. I have a third installment of my fairy tale series, The Spider Prince and the Morning Star, where the idea is like very fresh in my head right now so I’ve been playing with that a lot. The first two fics in the series are Spideytorch, but this one is a MYSTERY pairing. (It’s not that big of a mystery. It’s pretty easy to guess what it’s going to be based on the end of the second fic.) And there’s a lot of stuff from The Boy From New York City where it was like, I had ideas about where I COULD go with things, if I wanted to. The Boy From New York City is very much Peter’s story, very much The Amazing Spider-Man 3, so I think there is a lot of space to go forward that would be more focused on Johnny. But on the other hand I do think a lot about a fic that takes The Amazing Spider-Man 2′s deleted alternate ending and asks the question, what if instead of meeting his father in the graveyard, Peter met the sixteen-year-old sister he never knew he had? And I don’t know how many people want TASM fic about what Teresa Parker would be like in that universe but you know. I kind of do.
10) Share a bit of your WIP or share a story idea that you’re planning: PeterFlash 2020! I’m working on it. It got long and I wanted to play with canon, what else is new.
“You were always stuck up,” Flash grunted, lying down on a flat stretch of rock. It was freezing cold, leaching the heat through Flash’s jacket and jeans, but it felt good at the same time. “And you made Liz cry.”
“I didn’t make Liz Allan cry,” Peter snorted, rolling his eyes.
“You did, though,” Flash said, closing his eyes. He probably shouldn’t have said that, he knew. Liz wouldn’t have liked it. But Peter had made her sob until the cuffs of her pink sweater had been wet with her tears and Flash had just had to stand there and take it, unable to make it better as badly as he had wanted to, all because stupid Peter Parker was too thick to see that Liz was the best thing in their entire school. “She really liked you and you just ignored her.”
“I was busy,” Peter said. Flash cracked open an eye; Peter was standing over him, staring down at him with a quizzical expression on his face, like Flash was one of his fancy complicated math problems, only Peter had never had a hard time solving those.
Warmth spread from Flash’s stomach right down to his toes with the idea that he was the kind of problem even Peter Parker might have trouble solving.
“We were all busy,” Flash said, shrugging. “We all had stuff. Doesn’t mean you had to ignore everybody else.”
“I wanted to be liked,” Peter admitted, sitting down crosslegged next to Flash. He had a funny kind of look on his face, his brows knit together fiercely. He was going to have a wrinkle there in a couple of years, probably. Butterflies lit up in Flash’s stomach, trying to imagine it.
“You had a funny way of showing it,” Flash said.
“Yeah, yeah,” Peter grumbled, stretching out next to him. He put his arms behind his head, looking for all the world like he was sunning himself even though it was November and practically freezing already. “What are you gonna do now?”
“I don’t know,” Flash admitted, trying not to stare down at him. It wasn’t like Peter would ever know, though – his eyes were closed. “Get a job, I guess.”
“Flash Thompson, working man,” Peter whistled.
“Don’t strain something not being a jackass, Parker, you’ve gone a whole five minutes,” Flash said, rolling his eyes. “It’s not like I’ve got a choice. Can’t stay in school without that scholarship and it’s not like I can go home.”
Peter cracked one eye open. Something about his eyes had always made Flash’s stomach go funny; they were the warmest brown he’d ever seen, flecked with gold, and they shone on those rare occasions when Peter laughed. But usually they looked how they looked now: filled with suspicion, and just a touch of scorn.
“You can’t go home?” he asked.

My Top 20 Games of the 2010s
I will still be doing my usual top 5 this year, but seeing as it’s the last year of a whole decade, I am going to start off with a list of games that encompasses the whole of the last 10 years.
A couple of things to point out before we get cracking:
This is a personal list, so there’s gonna be some games that you the reader may not agree with.  I’m actually in a privileged position to play whatever I want, but I don’t necessarily agree with everything professional game writers say.  There will be a list of “honourable mentions” at the end, this may include a few of the games you might have been expecting
I do cheat a little, some entries are dedicated to a franchise of games.  At the end of the day, if you are into Destiny, chances are that Destiny 1 and 2 sort of merged into each other, Destiny 1 changed as much over its 3 year lifespan as the final product changed into Destiny 2
There are no games from 2019 in here, apart from part of one of them, see my previous point.  Maybe one day I will look at Apex legends and say “yes, that was the best game of the 2010s”, but it’s too early to say now.
I know there are a lack of Nintendo games.  There is one Nintendo exclusive and another that I played on a Nintendo platform (in the top 20, there may be more in the honourable mentions), but all in all I won’t be mentioning what system I played these games on unless I have to.  If you must know, the majority were played on either PlayStation 4 and PC.  A couple of Vita, PS3, Switch and Wii U.
I will be adding information on where each game scored in my previous yearly top 5s though and I did do those on separate platforms up until 2013.  So in a way, that’s confirming what systems I played these all on.
If you have followed my yearly top 5s, you’ll see some inconsistency, as in the fact that I have got my number 1 game from 2015 further down the list than my number 2 of that year.  Also that I have my 1st and 3rd best game from 2018 on the list but my number 2 game is merely on the honourable mentions.  This is because your thoughts towards a game can change.  I still love all the games I have ever placed on a top 5, but some games age better than others.
And I’m not going to write descriptions, I always write something in my yearly lists.  As I said before, I’m not a games writer, it’s going to take way too long and I don’t think anyone's going to read what I write anyway, just look at the list.
At the start of this decade, I had no idea if I would still be playing games by the end of it or where I would be.  I’m actually still sort of in the same place I was in 2010, but it’s been a fun ride, in a sort of “slipping into middle age” sort of way.  But I think I was born to be old to be honest.  Now I find myself at the start of the 2020s, I’m wondering how my hearing/eyesight/reactions will be at the end of the next decade.
Now that I have depressed the hell out of you, let’s begin!
20. PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale (2nd on both my PS3 and Vita lists in 2012)
19. Vanquish (4th on my PS3 list from 2010)
18. Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain (1st on my 2015 list)
17. Steamworld Dig 2 (3rd on my 2017 list)
16. Marvel’s Spider-Man (4th on my 2018 list)
15. Gravity Rush 1 & 2 (GR1 1st on my Vita 2012 list, GR2 on my honourable mentions from 2017)
14. Dangonronpa Series (D1 5th on my 2014 list, DV3 honourable mention for 2017, D2 not listed)
13. The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt (2nd on my 2015 list)
12. God of War (1st on my 2018 list)
11. The Last of Us (2nd on my 2013 list, though I really started to enjoy it more when the Remastered version came out on PS4, 1st on my 2014 list)
10. NieR: Automata (2nd on my 2017 list)
9. Horizon Zero Dawn (1st on my 2017 list)
8. Persona 4 Golden (Not listed, this is the only game I didn’t play in the year of its release on here)
7. Diablo 3 (3rd on my PS3 list in 2013, Honourable mention for PS4 in 2014)
6. DOOM (2nd on my 2016 list)
5. Portal 2 (2nd on my PS3 list for 2012)
4. CoD Series (yes, all of them, here’s a list within a list:)
10. Ghosts (2nd on my PS4 list in 2013)
9. Advanced Warfare (3rd on my 2014 list)
8. Infinite Warfare (Honourable mention in 2016)
7. Black Ops 3 (Not listed, but didn’t do honourable mentions in 2015)
6. Modern Warfare (not listed yet, but like I said, it’s too early for me to feel confident in a 2019 game, though MW is a cracker)
5. Black Ops 4 (5th on my 2018 list)
4. WWII (Not listed, not even on honourables, weirdly)
3. Black Ops 2 (2nd on my 360 list from 2012, making this my only Xbox game on my list)
2. Black Ops (Not listed, didn’t do honourables in 2010)
1. Modern Warfare 3 (1st on my PS3 list from 2011)
3. Mario Kart 8 (Not listed, the only top 5 I can find from 2014 is a PS4 list, I got this rather late in the year though)
2. Overwatch (1st on my 2016 list)
1. Destiny 1&2 (D1 2nd on my 2014 list, D2 5th on my 2017 list)
Destiny there being a good example of a game that gets better over time, I think the whole “live game” scene found its stride in the 10s and it’s made sure that this game that was never number 1 in its year of release could go on to be the game I have perhaps put the most hours into.  You also have multiplayer games taking up my entire top 4 too (I mostly play CoD for multiplayer), though all in all, the majority of this list are single player titles.
And all CoDs in the list?  It’s basically just CoD itself that’s at number 4.  If I was forced to adhere to a list where there was only single games listed, there would be no way I would have Ghosts or Advanced Warfare on there at the end of it all.  I would just keep MW3 on there perhaps, but then I would feel iffy about some of the games at the bottom of the list.  Do I really like PS All-Stars and Vanquish more than Black Ops 1 & 2?
So what of the decade’s honourable mentions?  Will it feature GTA or Red Dead.  The answer to the latter is “yes” and the former, here:
GTA 5
Batman Arkham city
Uncharted 3
Red Dead Redemption
Super Street Fighter 4
Hyper Light Drifter
Dishonored 2
Titanfall 2
Battleborn
Watch Dogs 2
Ratchet and Clank
Red Dead Redemption 2
Tearaway (Vita and Unfolded)
Sonic Mania
Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild (yes, in my honourables!)
Hotline Miami
Bioshock Infinite
Tomb Raider (2016)
Borderlands 2
Life is Strange
Uncharted 4 (and Lost Legacy)
Persona 5
Assassins Creed Origins and Odyssey (Origins I played the year after it came out, it would have been considered a game of the year if I’d had played it in 2017)
Far Cry 3 (Plus its legacy, even FC5)
Bulletstorm
And I’m just going to add Control to that list too as it’s the only game from 2019 that I have enjoyed that I see as being something that will stand up in a couple of years, maybe the Outer Worlds (I haven't played Wilds) too, but I will need to give that another play.
So there you have it, 10 years in gaming from me.  Will I still be playing games after another?  Time, and my body, will tell.  Look out for my top 5 of 2019, I still have to give Judgment and Death Stranding a good go before I can make up my mind, maybe I will play Outer Wilds too.

Note
My friend and I were talking about videogames and Darksiders 3 came into the mix, and my friend said she does not like the game because of the outdated graphics and I was like 'bih wot'. I personally really like the cartoonish style of the game, reminds me alot about the comics. How do you feel about the graphics????
Thanks for your ask, Anon. Fair word of warning: long post is gonna be looooooooong.
Okay, full disclosure: I am 100% not able to tell good graphics from great graphics and amazing graphics, or identify bad animation or tell if something is 4000FPS unless it’s really over the top good or over the top bad. Especially since most people seem to think that graphics = texture detail and nothing else. I have had so. many. people. tell me “how can you watch that–the animation sucks!” or “How can you play that? The graphics are awful!” or “Ugh… you can just tell this is only 30FPS” and I’m like… “Bitch, the human eye can only distinguish 24 individual frames per second. 30 FPS is enough for me and I don’t know what you’re on about.”
Like, sometimes a game with amazing graphics AND amazing texture detail comes along and just wows me, such as Horizon Zero Dawn, which really blew me away with the fact that not only did the faces have amazing detail, but also every character, even random NPCs, looked different. That was amazing and awesome and I can acknowledge that, but… most of what people call bad graphics is not bad graphics to me? Bad graphics is a PS4 game that looks like something from Windows 98. Like, my first gaming experience was on an Amiga PC. I KNOW bad graphics. I have seen shit…
As for Darksiders: the series has always had a more cartoonish style, which makes sense when you consider that its creator is Joe Madureira, a comic book artist (although thankfully some of his earlier Darksiders desgins have been overhauled greatly since). That means not every texture will be 100000% detailed. I am fine with that. I can live with that. As long as it is consistent within itself. Darksiders 2 was great with that. Darksiders 3… has some minor hickups–the environment often looks awesome, but the characters do not match them in texture detail, and Darksiders 1 initially slapped me in the face with a really awesome (for its era) intro cutscene, followed by such a graphical downgrade in gameplay that I felt like I was playing FFVIII again. But none of these graphics are bad. Again, bad is something like a 2 or 3 out of 10. I have never seen Darksiders’ graphics fall beneath what I would call a 6/10, which is not bad. It’s average.
Also, I don’t know exactly how to describe it, but one thing that’s really important to me, personally, in videogaming is atmosphere, which is not texture detail, but graphics feel, so to speak, or how the graphics work in drawing you in and conveying the atmosphere of the game world. Spider-Man (PS4) has amazing detail in many of its graphics and I can appreciate it for that alone (there were a few moments during playing/streaming where I literally went “wow, look at that detail on that suit” or something like that), but overall the vibe it creates, the atmosphere, is very… generic. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad game. It’s not. It’s awesome, it’s fun, and I just gifted myself the CTNS season pass from the money my parents sent me as a Christmas gift, but in terms of graphics, I mainly shrug my shoulders and go “pretty good, I guess?”
Contrast that to two of my favorite games ever, Batman: Arkham Knight and Lands of Lore: Guardians of Destiny. Now, Arkham Knight, has some great detail in its entire game world, but most importantly, everything, even the most colorful or most detailed bits contribute to the games overall atmosphere, which I would best describe as “cold and harsh city of concrete and steel, held back from the edge of becoming a hellscape by the deeds of a few individuals and the hope they spread”. Just look at this picture of Nora Fries from arkhamcity.wikia:
Tumblr media
When you look at that picture in full size, you will be amazed how much detail there is in her skin, her lips, her lace, her everything, but honestly, that’s not what makes her so great. What makes her graphically marvelous is that she fits into this game’s world. The texture detail is just the cherry on top.
Likewise, to get to my second example, look at a much older game (1997) with much worse texture detail: Lands of Lore: Guardians of Destiny:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The game never gets much more detailed than this, yet I would say it is one of my favorite games in terms of graphics. Why? Because never before and never after has a stereotypical swords and magic fantasy game made me go “damn, I wish I could jump into that jungle and jump over those pools myself!” or “damn, that monastery library makes me want to don some robes and spend a few months tending the herb garden and reading books”. Even in 1997 the game had a very nostalgic “retro” feel to it in many parts, but somehow it all fit. I’ll take this low-textured retro gem over 10 acres of high-textured but generic fantasy landscape all day.
And I feel like Darksiders, all three games, is very similar to that. Its strength lies not in texture detail, but in how it all flows together to create a visually cohesive atmosphere that works with the games’ story premise and setting. Darksiders I really looked like the Earth 100 years after the demon invasion apocalypse. Darksiders II really did look like dying worlds whose beauty you can still see on the edges and that need to be preserved. Darksiders III really does look like Fury arrived to the apocalypse ten years late in a plot straight out of a Supernatural episode:
Tumblr media
And that’s ok. That’s just the game’s style.
Also, last but not least, let’s not forget that this game was made by a significantly smaller studio with less man power and money. To compare it to something like Spider-Man (made by fricking Sony with the backing of Marvel) or Assassin’s Creed (Ubisoft!) is bound to make at least one side unhappy by sheer premise.
TLDR: Graphics to me are not just texture detail, but also how everything in the game world fits together and draws me in. Texture detail in Darksiders III may not be on par with games like Spider-Man or Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, but everything in the game world feels like it belongs there. It’s very cohesive, it fits with the style of the previous games, and given that it was made on a much smaller budget with a much smaller team, I am perfectly happy with Darksiders III’s graphics.
P.S.: Before anyone goes “but when it loads you can see how sloppy the graphics truly are and it looks awful!”–that happens with pretty much every game I own. Textures needing a moment to load is nothing new or scandalous to me. If you can’t wait those two seconds, you really need to learn how to chill.

Quick Rambling on Senran Kagura
Okay, gonna’ try and make this quick since I’ve got some other things I wanna’ do tonight, but... knowing me, there’s a 50-50 chance of this turning into an essay.
Shinovi Master
I just finished the first episode of this and... I’m not impressed. I don’t think this anime is going to be good, at least if you aren’t a Senran Kagura fan that’s kept up with all the games and timelines, namely the Versus branch. If you come into this anime with only the 2013 anime’s plot in mind you will be extremely confused, as this anime expects you to know what happened in at least Shinovi Versus since Yumi and Gessen are here and are behaving as if we aren’t seeing them for the first time. And from the summary Crunchyroll gave, this anime going to try and incorporate over 20 named characters in the plot, plus the 2 new characters that were introduced. I... don’t see that going well in terms of narrative and pacing. I’ve got some ideas on how to fix that, and I think if episode 2 goes the way I hope it does things’ll be fine, but... as a fan of this series I think anyone unfamiliar with Senran Kagura or only have knowledge of the first anime, this is a safe pass.
Then again, this is the first episode, so I’m hoping that this is just my inner fanboy getting a elitist and the rest of the anime will go smoothly.
I’d go into more detail, but again I’m trying to not write an essay here.
Reflexions
While I’m talking about this series in general I might as well talk about this game too.
I have zero intentions on getting this game.
I’m not a fan of dating sims to begin with unless there’s some decent side narrative to it, and I personally find the dating sims where you play a female character do better in this regard. From what I hear the review are basically calling this more fan service than anything, so I think I can safely skip this game. I personally think this game is more a way for Marvelous to test out the graphics on the Switch for a possible Senran Kagura: Burst 3, at least for the visual novel cutscenes. That is something I hope for, as I find the narrative in the Burst series more engaging, but I can talk about that on a later date.
Peach Ball
While I have mixed feelings about Senran Kagura releasing so many nonsensical spin-off titles lately, I’ll probably get Peach Ball, if only for it’s swing-style soundtrack.
youtube
I mean come on, this is just some good music, and I’m a sap for anything with some brass in it.
But in any case, I think this game might also be more graphics testing for a possible Burst 3. Again, I’ll mostly be getting this for the soundtrack, but... who knows, maybe this’ll be a good time-waster.
Miscellaneous Senran Kagura Things
Might as well get some of my general thoughts on this series out of the way while I’m talking about it.
Can Marvelous stop spamming Yumi so much in the marketing? I know she’s popular, I know kimono and boobs are a selling point for any anime-based medium, I know her being in the game will guarantee Marvelous like Batman is for DC and Warner Brothers, but... it’s gone too far, at least for someone that’s been in this series since the original Burst title. I know I’m preaching to the choir here, but I’m just a little tired of it and wanted to get that frustration out.
Also, I know the narrative reason for all the spin-off is likely because basically everyone (of important) in the Versus timeline has more or less finished their character arcs outside of them outright confronting possibility of death. Y’know, that thing that this series says is constantly walking with the shinobi characters that kill and fight for a living? I know killing anyone off in this series also kills the ability to market them, but... can we got two universes for a reason. If we do get a Burst 3 that ideally finishes off a trilogy, you can easily kill off a few characters in it, keep everything nice and pandering in the Versus spin-offs and all, and story/lore obsessive fanboys like me will shut up for a year since we have our “serious” Senran story. You can even do a remake of Burst 2 on the PS4 as well since you guys clearly want to bring that timeline to the PS4 players. Just a thought.
Since I already mentioned the anime, I hope most of the dub voice actors will reprise their roles since this is in Funimation’s simuldub lineup. They did a pretty good job with the characters in Ninja Flash, and those actors only got more experience as the years went on, so I hope it goes well. At the very least I hope Monica Rial returns as Homura.
Speaking of dubs, I really hope Burst Renewal gets a dub this time. I know Gessen and New Hebijo are DLC, but this game only has the original cast to really worry about. I don’t mind waiting a little longer for DLC if it means getting a dub for it. The last dub Xseed tackled that’s worth noting was Akiba’s Beats, and while that game had a lot of problems, its dub, localization, and writing was actually its saving grace for me. With a good game like Senran Kagura, I completely trust them to get at least the directing down.
Alright, that’ll be it for me. Just want to get my thoughts out while they were hot. Next time... I probably won’t talk about Girls Frontline... again.

My Top 10 Jacksepticeye series
Since Sean reacted to the “Top 10 Jacksepticeye series” WatchMojo & Sean asked to share what our favorite series on the channel were, so here’s my top 10 favorite series that are in no particular order (plus honorable mentions cause I just love a lot of series that he has done)
Fran Bow After watching Sean’s series, it became one of my favorite games and I just love the psychological horror to it. Also, not to mention, that it starts off in an asylum and I have a huge fascination on learning about asylums. Plus, Sean’s voice acting was superb and the voices he gave to the characters is still one of my favorites cause he brings the Fran Bow characters to live
Until Dawn I just absolutely love the mo-cap and the details of this game. After I first watched Sean’s series, it got me instantly hooked and I needed to buy this game so I can play it for myself, which I eventually did last year. I don’t know this is still one of the series that I can go back to and rewatch again.
The Last Guardian This whole game was absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. Seeing Sean gush over Trico, throughout the series, will always be one of my favorite moments because it was too precious and adorable. I remembered back when this series was ongoing back at the end of 2016, I got so excited whenever Sean uploaded a new episode because I was so giddy and curious to see what happened next... Also, I was excited to see more of Sean get soft over Trico. This game is on my list of PS4 games I wanna play if I ever get a PS4 because I need to experience it myself. PS, let Sean have his own Trico.
Bendy and the Ink Machine When Sean uploaded the first part, I got instantly hooked and wanted to know more about this game, and I can’t wait for the final chapter to be released because I am curious to see how it all ends. I love the cartoon aesthetic style that it has going on, and I love this game that I had to buy a Bendy pin, thanks to Sean for playing this game on the channel. Also, I can’t forget the cute moment in Chapter 3 where Sean heard himself and his reaction hearing his voice was too adorable & precious.
A Normal Lost Phone This might’ve only been a two-part series, but this brought so many emotions and feelings while I was watching it. I’m still figuring myself out, but hearing Sean be so open just made me cry because he’s open-minded and doesn’t judge on being yourself. Off tangent here, but I’m so hecking glad that someone like Sean exists and he’s my hero because he’s the angel that we deserve. Also, his smile when he saw Samira’s picture at the pride parade where she was truly herself made me soft.
Jacksepticeye Power Hour Okay, I know this isn’t a game series, but I always find myself going back and rewatching the videos (especially the Chase Brody one *cough* *cough*). I just love watching Sean act as a different character and be all goofy & silly because the power hour videos bring a smile to my face, and I always look forward to whenever he uploads one. I can’t wait for the next power hour episode.
Human Fall Flat w/ Robin One of the series that I can go to and get a good chuckle because it makes me laugh every damn time. Sean’s collabs with Robin is probably one of my favorites, if not, my all time favorite collabs because they just get along so well & their overall chemistry is freaking top notch. Like when they’re together, it’s comedy gold. I can always count on them to make me laugh.
Life is Strange Okay, hear me out: I know this game gets shitted on the dialogue but it was the first game that introduced me to the channel and led me to binge watching Sean’s videos. This game holds sentimental value to me. I just find the atmosphere calming and relaxing, and it’s one of those series that I go to if I need to relax and the soundtrack is phenomenal. Anyways, I could write a book on why Sean’s LiS series means the world to me, but I’ll stop before it gets too wordy and I can’t wait to watch him Life is Strange 2 next month.
Night in the Woods  I absolutely love this game and there were some parts that spoke to me. Sean’s voices for the main characters is just perfect, and sometimes, I’ll quote Gregg and speak into the voice that Sean gave him. Also, it was another chilled calming atmosphere and the graphics were super pretty. The dialogue was outstanding, and just, Sean’s commentary in that series is one of my favorites because I find myself quoting some of it.
What Remains of Edith Finch This game is fucking amazing and I am so glad that it’s finally getting the recognition it deserves. The message behind it was truly special and hearing Sean’s thoughts on it at the end is something that I go back to. The graphics were beyond gorgeous, and it’s another one of those chilled series where it’s calming & relaxing to watch.
Honorable Mentions: Simulacra Last Day of June Cuphead Uncharted 4 Detroit: Become Human Emily is Away Bloopers & Outtakes Emily is Away Too Shadows of the Colossus  Kindergarten Bully Little Nightmares Would You Rather Hidden Agenda Prop Hunt Sea of Thieves Dream Daddy The BOSS Batman: Telltale The Walking Dead Stories Untold Happy Wheels Reading Your Comments A Day with Jack vlogs Raft A Way Out Don’t Starve Together w/ Robin House Flipper VR series That Dragon, Cancer Presentable Liberty The Beginner’s Guide Google Feud Jacksepticeye’s Funniest Home Videos SuperHOT Doki Doki Literature Club Slime Rancher Drum Covers Player’s Unknown Battleground Paradigm Duck Life Opening Your Gifts Undertale Valiant Hearts Passpartout Uncharted: Lost Legacy Sally Face The Escapists Outlast The Sims 4 Resident Evil 7 Peace, Death Manuel Samuel Portal 2 w/ Bob Detention Layers of Fear Party Hard Raft Oxenfree Japan World Cup Hitman The Final Station Little Inferno Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Planet Coaster We Happy Few World of Goo Rocket League Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom
Anyways, I should stop right now, but moral of this post? I love all of Sean’s videos and as I may have some series that sticks out to me for personal reasons, I don’t think I can just pick out “top 10″ or “top 5″ because most of those series in the honorable mentions are higher than that because I love watching those series and hearing Sean gush, or comment, on the games and hear his opinions afterwards. Long story short: Sean makes me smile with his videos because the channel is my safe haven, and I can’t wait to see what cool videos he’ll make cause he’s such a cool, creative, motivating dude with ideas that I can’t wait to see become a reality because your acting is gonna blow me away.

Hey Cee. How’s it going? I’m not here for any requests, but to ask you about how you got started. I think sometimes you just want to get asked about the things you write and about yourself personally. So what was the catalyst for your love of Jason Todd?
I’ve never been asked this question before but thank you for it 😁 it’s gonna be a long story though 😂
Well, I fell in the fandom during summer 2016 after I had finally graduated from university (yes I’m old). I just had passed my competitive exam to become a teacher and I finally was in (some well deserved) holidays. But I was often bored so I bought a PS4 and obviously the Arkham Knight game simply because it had a good review on Amazon and wasn’t really expensive.
Before that I basically knew nothing about DC comics and I was not really enthusiastic about the game. I just knew the most famous super heroes of the franchise, had seen all the Batman movies and occasionally watched Batman the Animated Series And Beyond as a child without really getting into it, certainly too young to appreciate it. But when I finally started Arkham Knight, gosh how much I loved it. The visual was fantastic and the story so dark and intriguing. And obviously I fell in love with the Character of the Arkham Knight finding his background story and personality so fascinating. I loved Nightwing as well of course and I couldn’t even remember him in the animated series.
So after finishing the game for the first time (I guess I have finished it at least almost 10 times since) I started doing some research on google on Jason Todd and Dick Grayson etc… and I finally bought my first comics. It was the first volumes of N52 RHATO and the N52 Nightwing. And I just loved them and immediately adored the characters. And that’s how I fell in the DC spiral and started checking things on tumblr, buying other comics about other characters, watching movies and series and play video games.
Today I have more than 50 comics and my love for Jason has only grown. He’s my favorite DC character not only because he is the first one I’ve read but because I identify with him on a personal level. (Long story too. though I didn’t die 😉)
So thank you Arkham Knight for bringing Jason Todd into my life. 😘And thank you all for coming to my TED talk 😄
