As I said yesterday I’m gonna do an art dump today! It’s definitely not all I have drawn while I’ve been gone but it’s a good portion of it. Some of it is just practice and all of it is fan art

btw non of these characters are mine! (exept one but that was a gift and besides the point)

The first one is of a character that was created by a friend of mine, his name is jorban and he is just a lil guy. I like to draw him in different hats. There’s also my jorbsona (me as a jorb) and some eye practice drawings (definitely not fanart of a character… totally (cough cough Paris from the dummy’s dummy cough cough I used to practice drawing his eyes sometimes, did it a lot more in previous years(they are very good for paracticing ok, a fun shape with lots of character to them))) then there’s Holly fanart cuz obviously im just a lil freak like that and then the bill fanart. Oh the bill fanart… he’s like the only thing I draw in English class so no one can blame me for this! Might need to start drawing my object head oc again at this rate, even out what I draw in that class a bit. The last one is just some eye practice drawings I did trying to replicate cutlers eyes, I think I nailed the worried look tbh. anyway, imagine reading my ramble, would be crazy. could post some of my other art i did of cutler (was doing gymnastic studies) but i think i want to turn on into a digital peice so that might be a bit if i even remember to lol

i have the need to draw atleast one peice of fanart of every one of my more favorite comics (its a desently long list tho so idk, i've got time(probably))

Btw the colour edit of the Magi anime's Judar concept arts were done by me! The purple toned one, specifically. It has nice colours...

I love using teal/cool toned black + red combo in my arts 💗 So I used more blue tones instead

I like doing colour edits cuz it helps me harmonize colours and see how colours work together on the actual design itself. Love playing around with colours

I do love the teal toned black hair the Magi anime uses for him, but I tend to shift colours by saturating the colours more (shifting to cooler tones and saturating reds)

When I refine and redraw the rest of the drawing, I'll redraw the hair and clothes and add more patterns onto the clothes

Didn't feel like starting a new sketch so I'm just playing around with rough colour drafts. I think teal/cool toned black + red combo looks so nice!

Also, I actually recorded me filling in the rough base colours through OBS, which is a free software that records monitor footage and streams well

But the video editor program I'm using, OpenShot, is usually ok but it's so doodoo with speeding up clips, it constantly stutters and skips frames so I'm gonna have to find a better free video editor first before I post it

I love using saturated red and hot pink~ Technically if you eyedrop pick the colour, the colour of the red ru (top of the hanfu) is red~ish hot pink. But cuz of the contrast against the cool colours, the teal/cool toned black daxiushan (coat jacket), the colour reads as red

Yumi's "Ooh yeah~ Baby, baby~ Dada-dada!" It's so catchy!!!

A song with singing parts that are just "Ooh yeah, baby baby, dada-dada~~" sounds amazing

Yumi has a very unique voice quality and really strong singing voice. I love how Yumi's "Dada-dada" sounds like "Dada-dadao" and "Baby, baby" sounds like "Babeh, babeh"

Art Rambles

I love picking colours 🥰 My fave part of the art process is sketching and picking colours

I use CSP's Oil Paint Flat Brush to line! I've been using CSP since 2016. The first thing I drew on CSP was a KuroEne comic page attempt on CSP back in 2016

It's a free brush. CSP updated the Oil Paint brush with a new one so you can find CSP's old brushes on the CSP Assets store

Ever since 2022, I prefer using textured brushes to sketch/line compared to soft opaque brushes and hard pen brushes

Makes it easier to control line weights for me

This brush has a flat edge so the newer Oil Paint brush makes it easier to draw sharper lines, but I have better control over this brush and I'm just used to it. It works with my art style well. I love weighted inky brushes.

Also dawg I just realized that I recorded Display Capture on OBS so it shows my tablet's button presses on screen and me opening folders and files oops 😭

I'll record just the CSP window next time with Window Capture

I downloaded ShotCut, a free video editor this morning and it's already better than OpenShot tbh. It can speed up the video without stuttering and skipping frames, and has more features too

If I was filling in the base colours for real, I'd use a hard brush to fill in the base colours (cuz as you can see in the video, the Oil Paint brush is slightly translucent so it'll create lighter spots and won't fill in the base colours completely)

So I duplicated the layers multiple times. Since it's just a rough sketch, I filled in the base colours manually since it's fine for it to be messy. I'm just getting an idea of colours so it doesn't need to be clean

But if it was more refined with a cleaner refined sketch/lineart, then I'd use lasso tool and magic wand by selecting the outside of the lines and inverting the selection

I like using the old Oil Paint Flat brush for sketching and lining, but just keep in mind it has a flat edge (so if you need something that makes sharper lines use the new Oil Paint Flat brush) and it can't blend for shading/rendering.

Hi I’ve been following you for a while, I love your work! Just wanted to say I hope you get well soon or at the very least you’re not in pain. It doesn’t matter to me what you post I’m just here to see the new content it’s all interesting/fun!

Ahh, so sweet. I got really, really sick for a while there guys - I haven't even seen any of the new episodes! - but I'm recovering nicely so hopefully I'll start post again in the next few weeks.

Let's see... Do you like All Hearts? I'm gonna assume most of the people following me are at least cool with the concept of Zoro as Law's first mate. Current obsession while in recovery: Taking fanart of the Heart Pirates doing just like, whatever, and turning it All Hearts-y.

For example:

And if I'm wrong, someone should correct me so I can take it down or add proper credit. Also, they have no idea what's about to be inspired by their work, so, yeah, don't associate the poor artist with this.]

I tend to think Shachi and Law are the more cynical bastards and probably the more argumentive ones (specifically over plan details/minor analytical things), so I imagine they're in some deep, really impassioned Argument that is about something relatively innocent, maybe the best way to sneak past a navy blockade (Easy: submarine) And then sneak into the base unseen (less easy: pirates, all of whom are in jolly Roger marked uniforms, one of whom is a polar bear, another that uses three swords, and, oh, yeah, one with a WANTED POSTER showing off his VERY UNIQUE, EASILY IDENTIFIABLE DEATH TATTOOS) and they're ideas/debate is perfectability reasonable, but they do get very passionate about it. And it maybe doesnt always sound great.

Or at least, if you happen to not be listening to the whole thing because for some reason whenever you hear the words "... Highly effective plan so that our engagement with any actual Marines will be minimal and with no chance of any violent-" your brain just automatically starts tuning out

Or if you're just the kind of helpful pilot/officer who would help carry good from the kitchen as Hi-Ge finishes each dish to get it out at the table and so may have missed the bulk of the discussion

Then maybe parts of having Shachi and the caption passionately arguing about how, "this concern is over nothing, they're hardly his most recognizable tattoos"

"But they are the ones in the photos that were flown out to every Northern Island with your name splashed over them, captain. People are going to notice!"

"If you really think it's so much of a problem then we'll just get them a new photo of me to use. We just have to ensure these ones focus on drawing attention to my other, more eye catching markings."

"I'm sure if the posters promdominatly features those tattoos, not even the Marines would be looking at your hands, fair enough, but one week is hardly enough time to-"

"Are you doubting my ability to make so much trouble that quickly, my ability to force them into raising my bounty so soon, or that I can't guarantee the photos will contain said tattoos."

And Penguin KNOWS it's all innocent and it's just them hammering out details he just, well, Shachi never gets so worked up when THEY talk. Maybe because they never really argue? He's always happy to argue with Law though, even though Law is captain, And Shachi knows it's not arguing-arguing, obviously, since it's all about the plan and Law never gets, like, really bad either way though maybe it would be little nice if Law DID get upset some with Shachi every now and then for the arguments, just so maybe Shachi remembered how much nicer it is talking with someone who gets you and would never fight with him like that....

And Zoro - Zoro's mind has decided to jump back into the conversation because know he's wondering where and what those tattoos are that will take people's minds off Law's hands (he's not sure he believes it's possible, to be honest) and also how come Law seems to have no problem with SHACHI knowing all about them while Zoro is just left guessing and how come Law is trusting Shachi to come up with this plan? If he needs to get his bounty up, surely Zoro would be more help! not that Law really needs help finding or causing trouble, so then is the help he needs, does it involve these mystery secret tattoos and their a apparently very directing location and design? Shouldn't a first mate be told (and shown) these things?)

And so Penguin is standing there with the food bowl watching the two of them be all animated and smirking and plotting and wagging fingers wondering what's so great about it all anyway and Zoro is sitting there, head cocked, watching the same scene wondering why Law doesn't argue with HIM like that, the same way he takes Shachi seriously

And then finally looked Kit kind of coughs, mostly because just watching the two of them like that is getting embarrassing even if no one else has noticed because everyone is digging in while the food is still fresh (also, they definitely are going to START noticing since Penguin hasn't put down the new dish yet, and Kit doesn't wants to see Zoro get even more openly moony eyed over the captain when, like, he's just a kid and Law is a doctor (like Kit) and in his twenties (like Kit..... Will be in two and a half years) and doesn't really need Zoro mooning over him and as for Penguin, well, seeing him get all upset over something Shachi related if like when your sister cries because her "good guy friend" forgot it was their "special" hang out night. Like you know what it means but you don't want to have to think about it. Ever. At all.

It's just like the way Penguin is just standing there I immediately decided, oh, he MUST be thinking, "what if Shachi doesn't just, you know, respect the boss cause he's our captain. What if he like.... Likes him?" He just looks so left out, like he has no idea how to even insert himself into the debate.

The thought, ahh, of this was baby Zoro of COURSE he'd assume similar. Law got his wanted poster and Zoro wanted to kiss him and wasn't allowed, but he's happy boasting about the poster with Shachi, even planning the next one. Zoro is given the role of Vice Captain was like the most important office role right along with Navigator, but apparently it's really just like any other officer position. More importantly, it's doesn't suddenly make Zoro more important than Shachi, which isn't even what he wants because he likes Shachi, Shachi is cool (he just hadn't realized how much LAW liked Shachi, too)

Difference is I think Zoro eventually would, force himself into the conversation, after Kit catches their attention at least enough for Penguin to set the food down before like sliding into the seat next to Zoro, still just sort of staring (it's not his usual seat, he just kind of takes the nearest chair but after he does he figures it's probably a good thing, Law and Shachi are clearly, you know, preoccupied with their own discussion so it's good for Penguin to give them ro-

"I'm good with a den den mushi!" Zoro also knows that isn't Penguin's usual seat, because his usual seat is next to Shachi, and he imagines because Penguin is older and he knows all about like proper dates and stuff, he probably knows something like, uh, if two people who like each other are having a private conversation you give them room And don't interrupt so they can enjoy their time together. Penguin is usually right about that stuff so Zoro should probably do the same but, you know, they're talking about Law getting new wanted poster, right? Which will mean new photo - isn't like the the whole point? And it just so happens Zoro knows how to take den den images, and as vice captain obvious he needs to speak up so that they know this. For their plan.

And by speak up I mean almost shout it out, the way only an 15 year old with a crush who isn't paying attention to him really can; a way that makes everyone free,e, expect Eland who has to slap Bepo across the back to make sure he doesn't choke on the fish he'd been close to swallowing whole. Also, Puffin, who nearly sinks under the tableout of embarrassment by proxy before Marusa catches him to keep him still, and Hi-ge who peaks in from the kitchen.

Oh and Law and Shachi. They turn to look at him like everyone else but Shachi doesn't go completely still, first giving Zoro a confused look then tilts his head, giving Penguin a look that clearly means, "what, when did you start sitting all the way down there? Your seats not even taken, no one ever takes it because it's yours. What's going on, Guin? Are you being weird again? Could you at least tell me about what? It's not emotional, is it? You know I never get that stuff without your help...."

Where as Law just sort of looks at Zoro, then his eyes get all grey like a living storm - not a bad one, but one of the fun ones that sweeps you away in it, and his lips turns up in this half smirk-smile. Which admittedly isn't like a lot but has a lot of effects. Specifically on Zoro's stomach and also his mouth since words just sort of start flying out of it. "Back when I was a bounty hunter sometimes there were only these like two marine based around and if you just left the guy with them until some one further up the chain came along you'd never see a berry of that bounty, they wouldn't even buy you a skate why you waited. anyway, some older guy, he taught me this trick where you'd take a picture, you holding the wanted poster, and you sign it, then you'd get your guy -"

"Or girl," Beluxa tosses in like this is the time Zoro's trying to explain Law needs him to take the photo this is important!

"Or whatever holding that same poster, with your signature, and you'd catch a news coo and send it to the nearest big base they were gonna spend the guy for processing. So you could prove you caught h-them without having to find your way all the way to some hidden marine base.

Zoro's too in the moment too notice the various snorts and chuckles. Oh, no Northernern is naive enough not to believe the Marines have got some bases they're hiding up here, but they're also certain those kinds of bases aren't ones that just pay out bounties for some island outlaws some random unknown kid brings in.

Zoro is much more focused on how he is an idiot. He mentioned being a bounty hunter and he's always suspected that a lot of the crew didn't like that, now he's sure Law is one of them that doesn't because the second he mentioned that old guy who taught him this trick Law's smile slipped right away. But Zoro had already beaten them, and it's not like he really cared about keeping criminals out of the blue or getting a pat on the head from the Marines or whatever, but if he beat a guy shouldn't he get paid for it? "I needed the money and it worked so I bought this cheap image den den and figured out how to use it-"

"What? Like, pressing the button?" Shachi cuts in, chuckling as he mimics pressing down on the top of the shell. "Gee, good thing have an expert on board."

The remark might seem insulting but honestly, it's just sort of a joke, one Shachi is mostly telling Penguin, who doesn't look the leasf bit amused.

"He's just trying to help with the plan," Penguin answers, and he doesn't snap because Penguin doesn't really snap like that but it's close enough that quite a few looks are exchanged around the table. "He's an officer, too, it's normal he wants to be involved." Zoro actually sits himself up little straighter when Penguin mentions it, making sure he looks every one of his one hundred sixty eight cm.

"If you don't want any input or help, even from us other three," Penguin adds, not notifcing Zoro's posture shift of Shachis strange look, more focused on the small port window. "Why not save these discussions for Law's cabin? So we don't make the mistake again, and you two will be free to continue without even some minor, well meaning interruption to come between you two and your plan."

Zoro noticed none of it because Law has apparently decided to figure the whole bounty hunter thing because he's smiling again, elbows prompt on the table as he leans forward, like he's leaning in towards Zoro(!!) And smiling like that at him too (!!) He knew that Den Den trick would come in handy.Even though there is nearly a whole table between them, it really didn't feel like it when Law stared at him THAT way.

"Of course, Zoro-ya just wants to help." Law winks and Zoro's heart no his stomach no his throat - well somewhere in him something happens.

Winking! Winking is flirting! He knows it is! Lumikko told him himself and even Ikakaku agreed after a bit of disbelief (she apparently thought the guy's son at the junk yard they were scanvenging up for parts probably just got dust in his eyes and Lumikko was "messing with Zoro-kun, ad how many times do I have to tell you, just because YOUR easy doesn't mean that easy is considered fun by the rest of us." Then he did it again at the register, and did this weird thing where he asked Zoro his name a what he was doing on the Island - Ikkaku had been yelling his name plenty, was he not paying attention and seeing as he was carrying a box of used parts it's pretty obvious why he was here. Thought apparently according to Lumikko, the wink made them not stupid questions at all, more like riddles that Zoro had been MEANT to answer with, "Whatever you like, stranger," and "Oh, you know, taking in the locals, you wouldn't happen to know any worth taking would you?" Zoro still hadn't decided these.)

What Zoro DID understand was flirting meant winking, and since Law winked that meant!!

"Exactly, yeah, I just wanted to help - however you like stranger."

("Depths!" You could hear not only Ikkaku's hand connect with the back of Lumikko's head but also his ribs slamming up against the table with the force of if, and Ikkaku wasn't even bothering to whisper about see, see this is what happens when you're an idiot around Zoro-kun.)

Law doesn't seem to mind so Zoro doesn't really notice. (Oh, he definitely gives Zoro a look at the line but the chuckles and Law hardly ever like.... Laughs on any way so one of Zoro's various parts of maybe all of them this time do the thing again.) "Stranger? Is that what you're going to call me to the Marines when you're turning me over?"

Wait? Was that part of the plan? Zoro hadn't realized... Law is still smiling, and Zoro knows it's one of his honestly amused sort of grins so if he's still joking and flirting that means everything must be going according to the plan, or at least getting towards the plan at this stage, Zoro guesses. He just didn't remember when Law mentioned, "I wouldn't have expected such sneakiness for you, Bo-ya."

Zoro isn't sure what his captain means.

He doesn't notice, either, that Penguin is suddenly okay with Shachi, eyes wide as he makes a gesture for Shachi to please stop their boss before -

"Captain Roronoa Zoro has a fine ring to it, though. If nothing else I could not longer calm you Bo-ya, you would be more of a Tora-ya if-"

"I WOULD NEVER SELL YOU OUT TO THE MARINES!"

[Law honestly was just teasing Zoro, it's fine. I mean, he was a little suspicious of those older men going around teaching you tricks, but no he was just teasing you for your strange wording, that's all.... Not that it will stop Zoro from jumping to his feet and making this proclamation with all his heart.]

Yugioh S5 Ep 19: Yugi and the Only Neck Accessory He Didn’t Really Want to Wear

Been busy! Hopefully stuff will open up soon as I’m taking a hiatus on a different quarantine project and will be finishing painting the entire roof of my car this week? One can hope. Sanding the rust off the whole top of a car takes a long time it turns out?

Also, fun Yugioh fact, I recently painted a book cover for an author who is older so she’s never seen the show, and she looked at my tumblr, saw my Duke Devlin fanart and was like “That’s him. That’s my main character. OMG. You captured him perfectly!” and I was like “Ma’am that is Duke Devlin, hence the single dice earring on his lobes there, but we can work with this.” and now a spiritual Duke Devlin is on the cover of a Wuxia-style fantasy trilogy on the Vella. Had to give him a top knot and delete the eyeliner for Wuxia reasons but uh, that’s just Duke.

So long story short, fanart can get you work, don’t even worry about posting that stuff online because most people don’t even know it’s fanart anyway and older ladies freakin love it.

Back in Yugioh, the team was doing their best to navigate a map through the woods and they do about as well as they normally do.

And inside Tristan lifted up the floorboards and was like “I found the only way out, this is it, this is the only way.”

And they ended up in something that has a color scheme I would actually associate with a jungle. Finally. We have finally left California (in order to go to another Hell.)

Youknow, when we went to California, we visited Hell, and when we went to India, we also took a stop at the nearest death destination. There’s just so much death on this show and sometimes I forget because there’s been a ghost in our party for so freakin long it’s been normalized.

Joey freaks out at a flock of crows and reveals in this episode something I never realized about him before.

Like I’m not always the perfect observer as I’m sure you’ve noticed, but I love that this is canon for probably only this episode, but I will never forget it for the entirety of this series.

Bro was like “Maybe it’s a deep cut about Mai Valentine because she’s a harpy lady” but eh...pretty sure we spent like an entire season of Joey telling us that Mai was a good experience? Would be incredibly funny if immediately after all of S4, Joey was like “You know what? Screw Mai, guys.”

So my thoughts...it’s probably just a literal bird experience. Like I had a friend who hated deer because once she went to a petting zoo, got some pellets to feed the deer, but her finger was sticking up, so when the deer came over to nibble on some pellets her finger went up it’s nose by accident. She was so disgusted by this event that was entirely her fault, that she brought up how much she hated deer basically whenever we saw one.

So like...maybe Joey fed a bird wrong at a petting zoo. I can see him getting bit by a parrot because he was too Joey Wheeler.

But now that we’re in a graveyard neighborhood, Pharaoh decides to hop out because there’s a lot of ghosts here and he needs to practice socializing with his peers.

So that’s just a Yugioh monster doing the ostrich dance, right? Like this is a meme from like 2010 but on Yugioh in 2003(4?)

So they pull out their Pokemon to do some antics, Tea looked like she was about to do something useful, and Yami does a yump across time and space to get her as far away from playing (not)cards as quickly as possible and y’all...sure was a position these animators animated.

Holy crap.

And I was going off about that scene last season where they woke up in the same bed like...

...have these two been together this entire time? Like together together?

They’re like...way more comfortable than you’d figure they’d be considering Yugi nearly passes out every time he gets a hug. But Yami just like....How long has this been going on? As long as Joey’s fear of birds?

Like obviously this show would never cover what the hell Yugi may be thinking about this overreaching move here, because we’re gonna gloss right over that, and just run away up a flight of stairs. No one mentions this ever again. Which is mind blowing for an anime to do. I think in most anime I watch, the kids would be like “ahh ahhhh I bumped into a booooob!” like it does for I want to say every other episode of My Hero Academia. But in Yugioh, they saw that low hanging fruit and they were like “we expect a higher level of maturity out of our audience. Now here’s a fleet of ostrich dancing tree monsters with faces for crotches.”

They decided to sprint up this flight of stairs, and it enough of a slope to deter the monsters who are only unbalanced weird legs.

I want us to take a moment and admire this background painting. I can’t unsee the rocks that are all the same size, just piled on top of eachother. Did Alexander the Great just plop rocks here--or was the mountain made up of tons of similarly shaped boulders?

Like there’s a lot of nice bg’s in this arc, don’t get me wrong, but this one...I’m just trying to wrap my head around the logic of it.

At the top, they meet a pantheon, that is immediately blocked by this wall, because if this arc had a tagline, it’s “Yugi gets inconvenienced every 4 seconds.”

Bro was like “Clearly they would have pushed it over if Tea wasn’t slacking off” and like...she is actually. Look at her. Only used one hand? Slacker.

Joey was disappointed he couldn’t push over a massive wall, and the team decided not to analyze how much Joey Wheeler thinks of his own strength and instead fixate on these statues.

Usually in anthro characters they kinda look birdlike but act human. But what about an anthro that’s just a bird? Like human torso, but can turn his head 180 degrees? Yugioh made me ask this question.

And then Joey was like “wait, there may be a solution that isn’t just to use brute strength!”

Youknow it is a bummer that Kaiba couldn’t witness Joey own a dragon while he himself only has a robot jet dragon. Although, the jet is probably faster, stronger and overall...better than this baby dragon. It would have been great for Kaiba to witness Joey under-utilize this dragon and forget he has it for like huge swatches of the episode.

And then Grandpa pulled some body horror out of nowhere.

Wow.

I mean that is really gross.

I guess Grandpa can’t use Blue eyes, because Kaiba ripped it up, Grandpa can’t use Exodia because Weevil tossed it off a boat, and grandpa can’t use the card that’s just a building because...it’s a building.

So instead Grandpa has a bunch of meat and bones that look like something out of Doom. It’s probably from a more obscure Konami property, but I forget which.

I’ve seen Tristan hold back Joey in this hold, first time it’s been Tea.

So much shipping in this episode, it’s wild.

It’s also wild how low my standards are for what could possibly be shipping when it comes to Yugioh because of how freakin tepid all of these characters are, which as I’ve brought up before, I really don’t mind.

So Yugi decides that because Grandpa was folding his arms like one monster and it made a gem light up or something, to just do the video game thing and use the giant ass statues as clues.

Why was this arc not a video game? Like parts of it really feel like it was meant to be.

So Yugi falls down a hole, where the walls cave in like it’s that dumpster in Star Wars but like...it barely phases him.

Also...Yugi might be able to see in the dark. It’s never been brought up but like...the more I think about it...has Yugi ever struggled to see without the lights on?

After Joey disappoints everyone, he confronts death.

And Pharaoh and Yugi decide to solve the puzzle of “how do I get out of this trap dungeon room” which, honestly, is probably what they’re doing every time they hang out in the brain pyramid.

So they summon their mascot monster, and surprisingly the show decided its ability to fly cannot help them out here.

Kuriboh manages to become enough of a doormat to push Yami up to the stone and they end up in a set of weird cuts that ended in this?

Like seriously it was like flashes of light and then they were just...up here like this.

Hey like...

Alexander the Great, my man...

Were you planning to put that stone in the middle of a exhaust vent hoping someone would touch it? Because there’s no way anyone would rationally have done that. You would need to fly to do it. This is the world’s worst DM.

Like Yugioh pulls a lot of fantasy nonsense but this arc is a lot more like a “it’s a kid’s show, just go with it.” arc than most of them. It’s not a bad vibe, necessarily, it’s just not the vibe I’m used to.

So once I witnessed maybe the most boring conversation I’ve ever witnessed about corn (this was on a twitch stream, by the way, a guy was playing an interesting game, and then a guest came on and started talking about corn and plants for 2 hours) and they would not shut up about how all taxonomy is wrong because there are no such thing as trees and how all animals are labelled incorrectly, and then they started comparing it to like all sorts of mushrooms and phytoplankton as you would if you clearly got a little bit high before dumping your corn knowledge on a twitch stream.

Anyway, after that bizarre experience I suffered so I could learn how to play an obscure video game, I think I can safely say, that while I know everyone here thinks a bird can’t be a dog. If you’re a high biologist: a bird is absolutely a dog. Apparently you can just do that if you’re the most boring biologist alive and no one will argue with you because to do that would involve talking to you. We’ll just say a bird is a dog and no one can fight me or I will talk about the corn book that this guest on this twitch chat was thinking about renting from the library about the different types of corn mutations inherent in freakin Indiana. Therefore, Joey’s fear of birds and dogs is same.

So they use Dark Magician to save them from the statues, and Yugi busts into the pantheon again because they got to open this casket before a time limit that I kind of forgot about, tbh.

And inside the casket, is...this thing!

And you may say to yourself...it looks like it’s just floating in mid-air, that’s silly, and so I want to introduce you to the next panel where you can see that it is...quite literally...just floating in the air like a video game.

and it just slurps itself onto Yugi before he can be like “nonono.”

Wasn’t there some horror movie where you were stuck in some sort of body brace that slowly tortures you (was that Saw?) This has that vibes. Like man that looks uncomfortable to wear over a jacket and two belts and a collar that is another belt.

That and I...I gotta appreciate that Yugi popped his collar while wearing body armor and chunky necklace. What 00′s fashion appreciation right there.

Bit like...this isn’t breathable, right? Like Yugi’s gonna finally take this thing off and his jacket will just be completely soaked in sweat?

I'm a very creative person and I like to imagine all kinds of monsters lurking into the waters or forests or even flying above the clouds. I love animals (nature in general, really) soo much, I always begin to tear up before thinking about nature. And the animals seem to understand me, I really love interacting with dogs (I kind of learned their body language on my own, through observation). I'm a very loyal person, but if someone doesn't want to talk to me anymore, I don't hold any grudges. I'm such a romantic person, even though I've never been in a relationship (and I'm almost 21... sorry mom), but I love the idea of being in love. I get flustered kinda easy thinking about my crushes (mostly fictional, but shhh). I'm also very intuitive and empathetic, I love giving, it makes me super happy. I try to be a better human everyday and I love helping the people in need.

I love drawing, writing and listening to music, I can't live without music. I love taking pictures of the nature. I have a huuuge respect for both life and death, but I also like to believe in fairies, elfs, different spirits of nature.

-This relationship would be a very fun, fantastical one! Bennett is, preciously so, very gullible and would not only become very absorbed in the ideas and stories you craft, but believe in many of them wholeheartedly! I think it’d be adorable if you two met because he overheard you talking to a friend about your daydreams, or doodling them whilst out in public, and he approached you to ask why you’d never placed a commission at the guild about these creatures/monsters because they sound very dangerous!!

-He’d drag you out on “adventures” wherein you hunt for proof and sightings of the creatures and monsters you like to dream up. Occasionally, if it’s said (by you) to be particularly dangerous, and Benny is of the mind, he may make it into and official “hunt.” Of course, whether or not you reveal to him that everything is just from your internal fantasies determines whether or not Benny does this all in earnest or as a game, but he’d still do these either way.

-Of course, you never really find anything except some hilichurls (not to worry, he’ll protect you) but it’s fun all the same. During your down periods, Benny loves to hear more of your stories and designs! Huddled around a campfire, with his belly full of non-poisoned food, and listening to your pretty voice tell him about all sorts of fantastical creatures and adventures--that’s the life.

-Benny also loves animals but, probably due to his bad luck, they don’t usually seem to like him. That doesn’t deter him, though! YOU CAN BET HE’S GONNA CATCH THAT SQUIRREL YOU WANTED TO PET. Or at least one of Timmy’s pigeons. If you ever tear up in awe and excitement around him, he’ll automatically think the worst. Once you explained, though, you can expect Benny to catch your passion like a virus and start crying with you.

-You can’t fathom how much your loyalty and forgiveness means to him. Many a companion has turned their back on Bennett for things he really can’t help, but as long as you’re with him it’s hard to feel too down about it. Neither of you are the types to hold grudges too, and that makes for a particularly sweet shared affinity. Arguments and disagreements are easy hurdles to mount when you’re both so willing for forgive, and your shared empathy and couple-teamwork will topple all other challenges. <3

-Benny tries his very best to be romantic, too! He reads books often and asks for advice from the adults in his life--with mixed results. Lisa’s advice is usually the most solid, and luckily he figures that out pretty quickly. For example, he’s going to bring you flowers often! ...but the quality of said flowers is usually not great. How was he supposed to know there’d be a freak windstorm on the way back from Windrise? The windwheel asters are missing some petals...but they’re still pretty.

Alright I've come out of warrior cats review retirement to talk about light in the mist because it's still, really shit.

Also spoilers ahead because the Erin's haven't learned a goddamn thing from people criticing their books and they keep making the same god damn mistakes

Alright first off I hate that snowtuft died because it could have been a really cool concept of snowtuft actually becoming a starclan cat for saving everyone instead they kill him off and pretty much do fuck nothing with that concept which sucks

Second thing is the way they portray mates starclan like yes I am happy the authors listened to our complaints about graystripe choosing Millie however the way they did it was such bullshit, like sliverstream the way we see her is such a loving and accepting cat in starclan that's suppose to be her thing but instead she becomes a petty and ableist bitch during this book.

I'm calling her ableist cause she was mean to briarlight who I claim to still have her disability and is doing fine up there and the books can't fucking stop me from saying that! #warriorcatsisableist

Anyway and then there is feathertail who is jealous about crowfeather and leafpool which I'm just immediately going to label as a mistake because feathertail was egging leafpool on the whole time.

Finally we get to one of my least favorite deaths ever in warrior cats, Bristlefrost she literally got fridged for Rootspring's character development including her spirit so she's permanently dead, like I don't need to tell you how bad that kind of writing is and in warrior cats whenever someone has to make a heroic sacrifice IT'S ALWAYS THE FEMALE CHARACTERS WHO DO IT!

So, this is a random doodle/fan art dump since I felt inspired to make more cottagecore au content. So I made Techno, Philza, and Ranboo hanging out in their cottagecore gear. But I hated the Ranboo design I made in that doodle

So I redesigned him and I love it, He also has Forget Me Nots in his hair for obvious reasons.

Also this last doodle was a personal doodle as recently I have moved out of my parents home into an apartment which is walking distance from my work, which is great but the walk there can sometimes be dangerous and cold as hell. So I made a doodle of me trying to walk home at night in the cold with my flashlight.

★ SIMULATOR AU MASTERPOST ★

Well, here it is! You all have been asking for it--the ultimate Sim AU guide!! Below is everything that you need to know about the AU. Thanks for all of your amazing support ^^

So what exactly is the Sim AU? The Simulator AU, shortened to just the Sim AU, (sometimes also referred to as the AI AU) is a canon divergence to the end of season 2 of Voltron. However unlike the last episode Team Voltron actually defeats Zarkon in battle definitively, managing to destroy his empire and free the universe from his reign. Prior to the final battle, for unknown reasons Lance asks Pidge to create a very complex simulator installed with all of their memories and tons of other data. He also has her create a simulated version of himself, a highly advanced Artificial Intelligence program containing all of his memories, personality, appearance and abilities. This AI version of Lance is given one task, programmed into his very core and is his sole reason for existence—protect Lance’s most important person. Later on this person is revealed to be Keith, and during the final fight Keith is gravely injured and put into the simulator (which also serves as a healing and escape pod) and is shot out into space to protect him from further injury while the other Paladins finish up the final fight. Keith awakens inside the simulator, thinking that he’s still in the real world with Lance, and back on Earth after having won over the Galra empire. However this is all a ruse to protect him from the truth, as he is being kept company by the AI version of Lance while the real one and the rest of Team Voltron have mysteriously disappeared. Soon after the simulator begins to malfunction and Keith crash lands into a planet, he is thrown into a crazy battle against the Galra uprising, the remains of the Galra empire, and is accompanied by lookalike versions of all of his friends and a now-physical embodiment of AI!Lance. The AU is basically a tale of all of his adventures falling in love with the AI and getting into crazy shenanigans with his new but familiar comrades along with the Galra Resistance.

What’s the background on AI Lance? AI Lance, as previously stated, was created to protect Keith and serve as a moderator over the simulator. After Keith wakes up on an alien planet and encounters the lookalikes of Pidge and Hunk, the two of them work to make a physical body (a highly advanced robot, basically, think Westworld) for Lance’s consciousness to be put into. Once Lance gains a physical body, he has the same appearance of the original Lance but with a few minor quirks. Exposed wires poke out of the back of his neck and when referring to himself and his actions he often relates them back to his internal systems, all machinery and mechanical parts. He frequently gets checkups by Katy and Hunk so that they can update his systems and check his inner circuits to make sure everything’s running okay. Due to this the three of them become quite close, similar to how the original Hunk, Pidge and Lance were all friends back at the Garrison. Throughout the AU Lance struggles immensely with his identity, not wanting to be labeled as a copy of the original Lance and wanting to form his own identity outside of that. He constantly battles within himself, asking “Am I Lance or am I just me? I don’t know” and that struggle is one of the main conflicts of the story!

What is Keith wearing around his neck? That is an AI cube! It serves as a storage system for all of an AI’s data and programming. Lance’s core is an AI cube, which serves as his “heart” and is basically what keeps him functioning. The one that Keith has is a gift from Lance and contains all of his backup data. Katy fashioned it into a necklace for him for safekeeping. So not only is it a sort of accessory (I mean, it’s really pretty to look at), but it’s something for Keith to protect since a lot of Lance’s extra data is in that cube.

Who are the lookalikes, exactly? The lookalikes are all similar to the original Paladins but with minor differences! It’s still a mystery why they’ve shown up and where the original Paladins have gone. On the roster, we have Katy, a Pidge lookalike but not disguised as a boy, Hunk, who isn’t even human but looks just like one, being of a mysterious alien race, Allura and Coran, both humans and the leaders of the Galra Resistance Army, and Shiro, an Altean with a tragic past. It’s difficult for Keith to meet these people, who so resemble his teammates, and have to completely reforge his bonds with them since they obviously aren’t the same Paladins he knew before. (But, well, at least he has Lance.)

Why can’t you reveal the secrets of the Paladins’ whereabouts and why Lance had Pidge make the simulator? Because I don’t want to give everything away! All of that information will soon be revealed in the story, so please be patient! Once that stuff is written out and explained I’ll update this post about those secrets I’m keeping.

Is there a fanfiction for this AU? Yes, there is! It’s called A World of Zeroes and Ones (the title is based off of a Vocaloid song of the same name) and starts out with Keith waking up in the simulator. Everything else about the background and Lance’s identity as an AI has yet to be revealed to Keith but he’ll figure it out soon! You can read it here over on Archive! It’s still in progress, updates are slow but I’m chugging away at them :’) Thanks for all the support so far! And yes, if it wasn’t obvious already I do have an actual storyline in mind for this AU, from start to finish I have the entire plot written out, it’s just a matter of getting down and actually writing the entire thing...!

Who is Error Lance? Error Lance is basically what I’ve dubbed an “evil” version of AI!Lance where he has completely malfunctioned and been corrupted beyond saving, his entire systems being reduced to an error code. In this mode he loses all sentience and thought, only being driven to destroy and cannot tell friend from foe. Error Lance is basically just a lost confused child who doesn’t know what he’s doing or who he is or why he exists—he only knows how to kill. This mode is usually triggered if something contradicts with his core programming and his reason for existence—Keith. If Keith is somehow injured horribly or even killed this will set Lance off and totally wipe out his systems; it reduces him to the errors that are caused by his reason for existence being compromised. The only thing that can successfully snap him out of this mode and restore him to his previous “version” before he was corrupted is Keith—therefore proving his reason to exist is still there. Hopefully that makes sense? It’s sort of hard to explain haha

Who is Zero? Zero is AI!Lance’s prototype, the original original first AI that Pidge created. (Hoh, you thought that our regular AI!Lance was the first? Nope!) Due to a whole bunch of malfunctions and bugs, Pidge scrapped the prototype and created a better version, which is the Lance we all know and love now. (I mean she can’t get it perfect on the first try it was her first time creating an Artificial Intelligence, especially one of this caliber!) She meant to delete the prototype permanently, but…a whole bunch of crazy stuff happened and interrupted the process so Zero was never actually fully deleted. He sleeps deep, deep within the simulator’s core data, only longing to meet Keith at least once, since that was the reason he was created. This poor kid. He’s really scary since he’s…a huge mess and just broken. Broken. But he honestly loves Keith and sincerely hopes for his happiness, even going so far as to use all of his power to help Keith and Lance when they get into sticky situations. Like original Lance, Zero is dismayed that Keith is in love with AI!Lance, considering Zero was supposed to be the one made for Keith, but was scrapped. Maybe one day he’ll get a happy ending...

What inspired this AU? The song Shelter by Madeon and Porter Robinson! The whole idea for the simulator originated from the animated video for that song. You could say it’s become sort of the themesong for this AU haha

Can I repost the art of this AU? Nope, sorry! This AU is very very important and special and personal to me so I’m not comfortable with other people using the art from it or reposting on other sites. I don’t really know... I love characters and I find myself in most but not in one specific person per say but if I had to narrow it down to the most I would probably Leo Valdez, Anne Kirrin, Alex Bailey, Stiles Stilinski and Constance Bonacieux. I know that's a lot but there are some that cater to when I'm more girly or manly and some when I'm feeling mature and others a bit of both. I relate to them because they are realistic and like me so....

Fablehaven, Heroes of Olympus and the famous five series are probably my go to book series along with the Cat Royal series and The land of stories.

Piper McLean!!!!! SHE IS SO POWERFUL AND BADASS and everyone sleeps on her! IFrom the same book Leo Valdez. He is pretty popular in the fandom but people often make him the butt of jokes or overplay his ADHD and make him te weird seventh wheel whilst, in reality, he has two awesome best friends (Piper and Jason) and he is really smart. (For crap's sake He was doing college work when he was in primary school!!!!!!)

And Finally Stiles Stilinski. Everyone makes him goofy and totally stalkerish in his love life. Whilst he is goofy and clumsy pus has bad crushes he definitely is NOT that bad. Everyone writes him as weak and defenseless or as if he isn't really pack orrrrr erases his friendships/love life to put him with sorta friends who were really mean witches to him. Also, he has a spark and is the son of the sheriff. I don't care if its canon that he cants handle weapons. He so can and probably know self-defense as well. PLUS he did amazingly at lacrosse when he actually tried and had a chance but in canon (and even by the fandom) they make him bad at lacrosse and puny.

Show you fell out of love with?

Downton Abbey, The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, Legends of tomorrow. I was away for a while with no technology/wifi and that meant I had a lot to catch up on. Also, the episode to catch up on was a three-part crossover and it was just too much for me to deal with and watch all three shows for that ep. Arrow I just sort of stopped watching, no real reason just didn't enjoy it as much I guess.  Downton Abbey, I  had only seen from around season 4 onwards so just stopped after a while during the wait for the new season.

Vampire Diaries. I wanted to watch it but never got round to it until my friend made me watch it and in return would watch my show. Being forced to watch it made it lose its appeal to me near the end of the season.

Once upon a time. Not really a reason. I hope to start it again soon though.

I don’t really have one?? On Tumblr, I’m probably just known for posting basically everything from tv shows, vines, memes and fic/fanart. I probably make my own post once every 300 😅. I go from not posting anything to reposting 35 in one day so...

I love other aesthetics and hope to maybe have one in the future?  Some kind of artist, world traveler, magic, great sense of humor. bright smiles, surrounded by love, mythology and spiritualism, big city black and white studio apartment, cottage house in the woods with roses and ivy, caramel and chocolate and oversized sweaters, stargazing, cute animals, fairy lights, plants, comforters and fluffy pillows,scented candles in pretty holders that cast reflections on my walls ... tbh maxence lowkey seems like an asshole????? or at least a douchebag of some sort lmao his comments about blm were so fucking condescending and left the worst taste in my mouth. like dude you are a cishet white man!!!! going to a protest is the least you can do, esp in a global pandemic where many people who want to protest can’t due to health concerns. but as a cishet white man with a major platform he truly should have been doing wayyyyyy more. i did not see a single petition link anywhere on his page that weekend and have not any day since (if he’s posted resources and i’ve missed it, please feel free to send them my way). plus he has a Really Not Great track record on speaking about the lgbtq community despite taking on the role of eliott (i.e. saying he’d auditioned to play a transwoman and was upset he didn’t get it (my translation may be off here but i believe that was the gist of it), talking about how he was upset that people were saying that lgbtq roles should be played be lgbtq people (his feelings are ofc valid esp since eliott clearly means so much to him, but he’s centering himself in a conversation that is not about him and does not ask for his input), and probs more stuff i’m forgetting). it just seems like he doesn’t really learn???? and that whole redbubble fanart debacle was just gross oh god i couldn’t believe what he wrote on his insta story about that (like!!! think of the artist who had to see their work torn down like that by the celebrity they love!!!! awful awful awful)

i feel more positively towards axel tho. like yeah sometimes he comes off as a lil annoying but that’s totally my personality just not meshing with the persona he puts out on social media!!! he seems to genuinely have little interest in social media aside from his whole post-and-delete thing, which i’ve read is meant to mimic the feeling of live theatre????? which is actually such an interesting way of interacting with social media and subverting expectations of the platform and of the internet as a whole with information being permanent and constantly accessible oh gosh i’m getting too media student with this. his delay in talking about blm was iffy for sure, though. taking time to step away and learn is a great move, but with a platform as large as his, even just posting few links and stating that he’s taking the time to learn would’ve done so much more. also he continues to work with celine which is just a problematic brand and i want him as far away from hedi fucking slimane as possible alkfjadsk

please keep in mind that this is just my opinion!!!!! if you want to love them and support them to the ends of the earth then please do so!!!! don’t let this change that!!!! i still support them bc i really do have a soft spot in my heart for both of them due to s3, and i’m still gonna rb content of the both of them. stuff like this is super nuanced and there’s no one right way to feel.

And, well, the redemption fic I mentioned helped me fall deeper into Stoki hell, but I shipped it even before that XD I think part of it is just because I think they could have a really interesting dynamic- they’re just so different, complete opposites. Steve would confuse Loki so much tbh

Also, I just think that Steve (or at least, post-CW Steve) might be one of the avengers most willing to at least try to understand Loki. Partly because Steve’s just a nice guy, and then because of his relationship with Bucky- ‘cause Steve-Bucky and Thor-Loki are really, really similar and I think Steve would realize that.

And then like I said, Steve cares a lot about other people. If Thor ever told him about everything that happened between him and Loki Steve probably wouldn’t have too much difficulty in starting to see Loki as a human(?) being instead of some one-dimensional fairy tale villain.

Lastly, I feel like Steve is just the best person to handle Loki’s issues. He may not be able to personally relate to a lot of it (Tony, Bruce, maybe Natasha would be better for that) but he can take a step back and think rationally about the situation, help convince Loki that just because the rest of the world sees him as a monster, doesn’t mean he has to be one.

With the new revelation about who Touka was visiting at the hospital, I’m beginning to have my doubts about how this will end…maybe they might actually both survive for now???

Death The Kid seems really cool! (does he really have OCD in canon, though? Like, I’ve seen a lot of Soul Eater fans talking like he does but idk if it’s actually a thing? Maybe I sound weird but it just seems insensitive to say characters like DTK and Levi have 'OCD’ and talking about it jokingly when it’s actually incredibly difficult and stressful for people who actully have OCD, so I’m not sure how to feel about those fans)

(But hey, don’t be too sad (what’s this? Is Evans actually COMFORTING Queen Luna for once instead of rubbing salt in the wound?!)! There’s always the book Death Note: Another Note (The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases)- it’s a prequel to the Death Note manga/anime with L chasing a murderer known as Beyond Birthday (…no comment on that alias). It also shows how he met Naomi Misora which is awesome if you like Naomi (I did, and kinda screamed when Light kiled her))

Eh, I think I’m one of the few people who doesn’t mind it being set in America because what’s the point of making an American adaptation if it’s going to be set in Japan anyway? I also don’t really have a problem with 'white-washing’ for this same reason (though I am disappointed because being Japanese-American would have added an interesting layer to Light’s character; despite fighting for justice, in canon, LIght’s never actually been victimized or discriminated against. He’s a handsome, intelligent young man who appears to be cisgender and heterosexual (even if it’s never confirmed) and is Japanese, just like everyone else around him. Japanese-American Light, on the other hand, would have really experienced how the 'rotten’ world could hurt people, so his acts as Kira might have more personal emotion in them)…like, it’s possible to cast a white actor as Light without it being white-washing, and since they changed the entire setting I think it’s fine to change other things too. Just, I’m cool with anything as long as they portrayed Light’s character properly…BUT THEY DIDN’T SO

I’m really just disappointed that they botched the characters and all the themes of the original Death Note story so badly. Sure, change the setting, change the circumstances, change the plot, changehe designs, but why did you have to take Death Note’s philosophy away?

But, because I might have been a bit too mean:

I will say that the movie LOOKS really good. The visuals are great. The soundtrack seems decent too. Also, though Ryuk’s motivations/role also weren’t done very well, Ryuk’s actor did an amazing job…and while I’m not happy with how L was portrayed in this movie, I do think that the actor they cast for him could have been a good L if not for the bad writing.

Well…from what I know, Light Turner ends up in a hospital at the end of the movie with his One True Love Mia(Misa) dead, so nah. The Keikaku failed.

HNNNNNNNNGH have i ever told you how much i hate school?  because i freaking hate school from the bottom of my heart i can’t feel my neck anymore from the amount of studying ive been doing that’s depressing.

anyway. heartfelt advice: do not fuck your stomach up in any way, because you will suffer if you do. take it from me, i’ve managed to develop this amazing thing called Gastritis and now i cant eat anything without getting the feeling that im gonna throw it back out which is absolutely wonderful. thankfully, i don’t throw up, but it’s freaking annoying and ive lost waay too much weight already. best part? the whole reason why i have it is apparently purely psychological,  too much stress. i got it in the middle of july. HOW my mom is also being INCREDIBLY helpful by basically telling me to ‘get over it’ like i can just snap my fingers and tell myself ‘oh yeah this is only in my head’ and it’ll all pass over. cause that’s how it works.  so is my sister by always laughing at me

yep, school started and i am suffering. ive already gone through 4 tests and a bunch of oral quizzes. yay. thanks teachers for totally not putting horrible pressure on us from the start.  i stg, one of my most common thoughts these days is ‘see, this is exactly why i have a psychosomatic sickness.’ they’re sending my to a psychologist to see if i can let everything out and maybe get some advice on how to handle things better. i will laugh my ass off if i get diagnosed with a mental disorder. that’d be absolutely hilarious (I am in no way trying to make fun of people with a mental disorder, I’m just saying I honestly wouldn’t even be surprised if they said something like Burnout Syndrome or Depression (im not even joking when I say that I’ve been sleeping pretty much all afternoon + night these days, cry way too often, feel no motivation for anything, feel worthless, no apetite and also occasional suicidal thoughts which is oh so fun (ok but in my defence, the thoughts are really rare, probably caused by the fact that I feel nauseous like 90% of the time, and I would never ever do it, mostly because some people would miss me (I hope). there are moments when I go ‘wouldn’t it be easier to disappear?’ tho))

Yep, since I have all the volumes, I like to flip through them sometimes and I’m blown away every time by the development.  I also cosplayed the main character a while ago, so it holds a high sentimental value to me. But it is a lot lighter than your usual reads, true...

Well, uh, it’s kinda hard to explain? I mean, DTK is obsessed with symmetry and will go to crazy lengths to preserve it, get mad if someone disturbs it, will jeopardise missions if he’s not sure if he left something perfectly symmetrically at home etc, but it’s not so much as a mental illness as it is a consequence of who he is (part of the Grim Reaper)? Like i said, it’s really had to explain.

We’re Runners

A little ficlet for @artsy-dragoness for the very beautiful fanart she drew for this AU!!!

And uh… I’m sorry, this is technically out of chronological order from what’s currently happening with this ‘verse, but uuuuh, hopefully I’ll catch up to it soon?? Consider it a little preview I guess.

Also Gambler/Yakuza AU is gonna undergo some Changes. I’ll post about it soon (hopefully).

Even as prolific as they are, it’s not impossible to find a casino that isn’t Pekoyama-operated. They’re small, sure, and usually hidden in some residential area, masquerading as a respectable home or business. It’s a far cry from the fancy bars and elaborate underground set-ups the Pekoyamas and other big-name gangs got going on. Fuyuhiko doesn’t mind them so much, really. He got his start in seedy casinos and back alley gambling rings, and he likes to remember his roots.

A little gambling house doesn’t necessarily mean a smaller turnout though. The gamblers risk just as much, whether they’re hoodlums or salarymen, and everyone brings cash. He foregoes the virtual gambling machines in favor of the private poker room. It’s more fun when he’s got a face to put to the cash, and sometimes the pot is still just as sweet.

They don’t know him by his face, and at that point, it’s easy to offer up a fake name and some counterfeit identification. After that, he just lets the night run its course.

“Wow! Looks like I won. Lucky me!” he says airily, sweeping up the wrinkly bills piled on the table. It wasn’t hard convincing them he didn’t know what he was doing, but not everything has to be a challenge, and besides, it’s funny to see the looks of disbelief on three different faces.

“Well, better get going while the going’s still good, you know what I mean? Better luck next time, gentlemen. Good tidings and all that.”

He stuffs the entire wad into his pocket and starts to leave, but before he can reach the door, a large hand drops onto his shoulder and spins him back around. “Wait a minute.”

“Hey. I won fair and square,” Fuyuhiko says, holding up his hands. “Nothing up my sleeves, see?”

“You little shit. Nobody fucking hustles me!”

“I’m just as surprised as you! Didn’t think I’d get this far. Beginner’s luck, maybe?”

The guy is big, wide around the shoulders, and at least a foot taller than him, probably more. Still, Fuyuhiko’s mouth runs faster than his brain can keep up.

“You know, if you spent more time actually minding your cards rather than scratching your ass, maybe you wouldn’t be nursing such a heavy loss.”

“Why you little—” The guy rears back and takes a swing at him, but he’s slow and he telegraphs it so much that it’s easy to duck under his giant fist. Fuyuhiko dances in and out of the goon’s reach until he gets bored and delivers a hardy swing, right to the guy’s throat. He doubles over, choking.

That’s pretty much all it takes to start it up. The scantily-clad waitresses scatter out of the room, shrieking. Another gambler goes at him, fists flying. Fuyuhiko twists out of the way and gives him a good punt in the gut, because why not. The guy falls onto the rickety card table and causes the whole thing to collapse. The last guy tries too, and when he overextends and stumbles forward, Fuyuhiko grabs the bottom of the guy’s coat, yanks it over his head, and shoves him into the nearest table, littered with used whiskey glasses.

The room’s a mess of splinters and bodies and scattered cards, but he got what he came for, so there’s no reason to stay. In one fluid motion, Fuyuhiko’s out the door and closing it behind him.

It’s not that he didn’t expect this type of response, only that it’d be a heck of a lot easier had it not come to it. While he speed-walks down the hall to the front door, he digs his phone of his pocket and punches in the first speed-dial.

“Hey,” he says. “I’m gonna need a quick ride outta here.”

“Of course you are,” Natsumi groans. “Thanks for the heads-up, by the way, bastard. Luckily I’ve got way more foresight than your sorry ass. She’s waiting outside, around the corner. I told her if you didn’t make it in five minutes you were probably dead, so move your ass.”

Natsumi hangs up.

Easy enough. Just out the door and he’ll be out of here in no time. But right when he turns the corner, he sees three hulking goons—three angry hulking goons—heading his way. One of them slowly pulls a pistol from his coat.

“Aw shit,” Fuyuhiko hisses under his breath. He spins on his heel and backtracks quickly. He can hear the guys pick up the pace behind him, so he does too, ducking into an open room and locking the door behind him.

“Just my luck,” he groans, hauling a bureau in front of the door for extra measure. They’re pounding on the door right now, and it won’t be long before they get past his half-assed barricade too. He scans the room quickly and makes for the window. There’s a balcony outside. He clamors onto it, making sure his clothes don’t catch on the frame, and looks over the railing.

By some miracle, Peko and her bodyguards are just down below, waiting by the running car. “Just my luck,” he repeats, smiling.

“Hey!” he yells over the rail. “Up here!” Peko looks up, and he grins down at her. “I’m coming down! Catch me, okay?”

“You have got to be kidding me,” she says, but she doesn’t move from her spot. One of her bodyguards—Genji, he thinks his name is—offers to do the job, but Peko doesn’t listen.

He swings one leg over the rail, then the other. Behind him, he can hear the guys smashing the door open. He only takes a few seconds to orient himself before hopping right off, one hand slapped over his hat to keep it from flying away.

She catches him, like he fully expects her to, arms curling under his knees and back. It’s not a far drop, and she barely buckles under his weight. Their eyes meet, and for a moment, it’s just Peko holding him in her arms. He grins, wide and smug, and she wrinkles her nose at him.

“Aww, babydoll. Were you waiting around just to see me drop in?”

“I’m letting go,” she deadpans. She’s generous enough to give him a second to stand on his own two feet before she drops her hands—too fast, he thinks.

He’s not so generous though. He takes her by the hand, and her cheeks color beautifully. “C’mon! We gotta go.”

They duck into the car and speed off, just as the front door to the casino bursts open. The bunch of goons trip over each other stumbling out, spitting and hollering and waving their pistols. Fuyuhiko twists around in his seat and watches them grow smaller and smaller in the distance from the back window. There’s no way they’re shooting at this time of night, not in this neighborhood, and the car’s bulletproof anyway. Honestly, his cheeks are starting to ache from grinning so much.

“I wish you didn’t waste your time with those low-lives,” Peko sighs beside him, smoothing a hand over her hair. (He doesn’t know why she bothers. It’s always perfect.)

“Life’s full of risks, princess,” he says, winking at her. “It’s way more exciting when you up the stakes.” He pulls the wad of cash from his pocket and waves it in one hand. “And so lucrative, too.”

He manages to pull off one more cheeky grin before she shoves his face against the leather seat.

Momocon Recap and Thoughts

I’m sticking this in a read-more cause it’s gonna get lengthy.

So, I should mention this was my first ever Momocon, so there was that! First of all, I finally got to meet some friends that I've had for a pretty good while now. Like, I had stayed in a hotel room with my friends Dharc, Trevor, MattTetska, and a friend of his. I also hung around Nixcan and her crew for a good portion of the con, which was awesome because I tend to wander aimlessly anyway :P

Other than that I got to meet TRG + Masae, and by Meyneth that was the highlight of the con. On Thursday, Nixxie and I had been just sitting at a table when, I think it was HP mentioned Jon was walking up. So, I got to formally introduce myself to him, which was astounding, especially since I managed to remain so damn calm. Literally, I had walked up to him and just casually shook his hand and said hi. Of course, Jon said hi back. The next thing I said was that I was Ari Zonia, I kid you not he jumped in surprise and went "Oh shit!", which got a good laugh out of me. Like, it was genuine surprise (I knew he was kind of excited to learn I was going to the con in the first place but this took the cake).

If you saw the TRG Q&A panel you probably saw Emile's reaction to who I was as well (me being the cute little idiot asking what the strangest fanart was that the guys have ever seen of themselves), Jon only pointed it out because he had met me earlier in the day (before that started I also snagged a picture with RabbidLuigi who was just confused for a second since we were both waiting for a TRG panel to start and random small girl is like "can I have a picture?"). But after that was when I finally got to just talk with Emile himself, mostly about games and such but he also asked my about Bran which was nice. Also got him and Masae to sign my copy of Xenoblade.

During all the chaos that followed leaving that panel I also handed off all the pictures I made specifically for this. I had tried giving Jon his and Lucah's earlier, but his bag was such a mess he was worried messing them up (poor guy). But after giving Masae hers, and the one for her mom (I swear she was about to cry because 1, she liked them that much, and 2, because I made one for her MOTHER), as well as Tim getting his, and Emile's too, I finally walked up to Jon and offered the pictures again. I tried not to laugh though when his first reaction was to worriedly glance at his bag again, but I had a plan. I literally gave Jon the clipboard I had kept the pictures in (it flips open to store papers in), I didn't need it since I bought it specifically FOR Momocon (I have another exactly like it here at home). But, being the nice guy he is, he didn't want to take it from me. He asked, like, five times if I was ABSOLUTELY sure I was willing to part with it, and he kept trying to hand it back. Eventually I convinced him to keep it and we double checked I didn’t stick anything else in there so he didn’t take them on accident. And then, with what I think is the softest smile I have ever seen on Jon’s face, he thanked me for that. I managed to have a little laugh with him though as I also asked if he wanted the ribbon I had around it, his response was “Well, I’ve GOT to accessorize.”, which was funny for him to say as he took it, but he had another “oh shit” reaction when I mentioned the clipboard was broken (bought it like that). I also got to hug Emile during this time, and by Meyneth he is soft. Friday and Saturday were also pretty neat since I did a lot of wandering around, playing games in the game area (finally tried Taiko Drum Master which is AWESOME, but I’m still learning the timing), but I had also gotten to be part of a couple Persona cosplay Photoshoots! (There was a lot of P5, but I was Yosuke and Naoto, more on the latter soon). Other than that, Trevor and I also had run into Masae and Emile on Friday and Emile and I just proceeded to nerd out (mostly about Xenoblade of course), but I also told Emile that I was kind of upset I couldn’t Streetpass with him because my damn Streepass doesn’t work, and the guy looked actually upset about that. That, and he was really confused (like, gears turning in head confused) when I said I didn’t use to like RPGs and actually didn’t CARE about Xenoblade before he played it. Now, to that Naoto cosplay thing. I’m sure if any of you saw the Thrown Controllers livestream (BTW, Thrown Controllers is AWESOME to be at live) , you heard Emile talking to someone off camera about being Minato (or, as he said the “Protagonist from Persona 3″). Now, the entire context of that, before that Emile was saying something about Jon’s shirt. Well, let it be known that I just cheekily said to Emile “Hey Emile! Did you know with your blue shirt, and Masae’s yellow Tim’s hair turned green?”, because I’m just a dork like that. Now, what prompted the P3 comment was, like I said, I was dressed as Naoto Shirogane (specifically DAN but that’s besides the point), and when he asked that I just went, as I stood up, “I am Naoto Shirogane! Detective Prince! At your service.” as I did a bow, and just sat back down. I had also met MomAnela during this time, both before and after the panel and it was fun to chat with her a little bit. She was surprised we knew Dennis (she plays against him a lot in Splatoon). Then again, I had posted the picture I took with her before Thrown Controllers and then she motioned to get my attention (we were sitting right behind her really) and said “I didn’t know that was you!”, which was awesome to hear. After that was the TRG signing, which in of itself was fun because I got TRG + Masae to sign my 3DS, and Jon signed my copy of the 6th Scott Pilgrim book (I got into the series ‘cause of him). During that I had wanted a picture with Emile, and I swear this next part was totally awesome. Since I was Naoto, I had a little toy gun with me, and I just stared Emile dead in the eyes, drug out the gun as smoothly as I had done all day and said “I want a picture.” Now, Emile, being the punster he is said “I thought you were going to say “I want to take a shot”.“ and he just had this cocky grin on his face. Of course that just made the picture funnier because I circled next to him and said “You are under arrest for your crimes against humanity in the form of wordplay.” But, truly it was just awesome to meet them. While I waited for Trevor to get his stuff signed I also talked with Masae for a bit, and she’s just so sweet. Like, I had mentioned to her it was my first Momocon and that I’ve been having so much fun, and she nearly made me cry when she asked “First of many?” with this look that I could only say is, like “Please say yes!”, and I couldn’t give a straight answer because I obviously didn’t know. But, based on how this year went, I may be able to go again. Hopefully. Anyway, Trevor and I chatted with her for a little bit, which was neat because we got to talking about art, and she was really surprised to hear I’ve never had any lessons and that I’m self taught. Only attributing my constant drawing of her and the guys is the reason I’ve gotten to where I am. Now, Sunday was probably the coolest because I spent basically the entire day with Nixxie and her crew, but also did stuff I hadn’t planned on doing. First of all, I got a picture signed by the voice actress for Pearl (who is my favorite Gem, fight me), and also get a couple other small things to take home (I bought a lot of cool stuff, like pins, a little card for my gender identity, a sealed copy of World Ends With You, a Squid pillow, and a deck of cards). What was awesome though was that I was waiting for Nixxie to get something signed by Lucio’s voice actor and I went to sat down when, guess who, Masae and Emile started walking by. I tried not to lose my composure too much and struck up a conversation with them (after Masae complimented my Female Ness cosplay, and Emile complimented my shoes, the poor oblivious man). To which I then basically was there for the next hour to hour and a half or so just talking with them. Again, mostly me with Emile discussing stuff like Xenocross and some other stuff like DanganRonpa (still surprised he likes DR and Byakuya, not saying that’s bad just surprising). He also asked how I pronounce my name since “Ari” is a real name ‘n’ all, and was surprised when I said it’s a masculine name (He then saw the thing on my lanyard saying “agender” and then something finally clicked in his head)

Also, I should mention that somehow all the guys (and Masae) had come to this really funny conclusion that I’m MUCH taller than I am. Like, around 5′10 or something because they thought I was Bran’s height, and even then they thought he was TALLER. Like, Jon was laughing when we tried to get that picture of him resting his arms on my head saying “I don’t want to crush her!” Other than that there was also me, Trev, and Dharc recording a board of Mario Party 3, and I swear that game is meant to induce rage. Like, Dharc was having horrible luck in general and I basically turned into Jon in terms of pure anger (and I try not to get mad at games). Overall, Momocon was the BEST con I’ve been to, got to meet some awesome people, get some awesome reactions from TRG, and I really hope I get to go back!

To-Do List

I was tagged by @winter-is-ending and boy, it's a lot to think about! Do this: List all the things you’re currently working on in as much or as little detail as you’d like, then tag some friends to see what they’re working on. This can be writing, arts, gifsets, whatever. 1. I'm drawing fanart for @crop-stomper (also known as CelticGames4 on fanfiction.net) about the escorts of Danzón: The 125th Hunger Games! I'll be making 2 drawings, actually. I'll explain them individually. a) Right now, I'm drawing one depicting the escorts wearing their Reaping outfits (or something close to it) in headshot mode. I'm currently almost done the pencil sketches and I'm hoping to finish it as soon as possible; I just need to draw my own OC (and my current bae), since he's also an escort and working for this Quarter Quell. I have some problems figuring out how to draw his hair though.... *scratches head* I'm not gonna tell you his name just yet though, or the other escorts. *smiles mysteriously* b) Ok, I'm REALLY excited about this particular project. According to the plot of Danzón and Celtic's words, there'll be a Pre-Games Party/Victors' Ball hosted by the current president, Pilotheos Blossius, and it will take place after the interviews but the night before the official Hunger Games. Alongside the headshots, I've also gotten permission from Celtic to design the escorts' outfits specifically created for the party! \^.^/ I got, like, so many ideas and I'm so hyped I can't wait to draw them all!!! Besides, my experience in art and knowledge in fashion should come in handy for this project. Depending on the individual escort, I will be taking inspiration from the Hunger Games movies, high fashion/fashion shows, Flare and Elle magazines (maybe Vogue?), fashion shown and created in places like tumblr or Pinterest or Etsy, fashion blogs, and lolita, while still keeping true to the Celtic!verse, the submitters' descriptions, and my own twists on things. I'm also gonna draw my OC in his party outfit for the story (I have something awesome and unique just for him!), but chances are, he'll end up having his own separate page compared to everyone else's because there's a lot of detailed components in his outfits (it doesn't help that his "date" for the night is one of the mentors/co-worker) and he's PROBABLY gonna make ovaries explode (and dicks). The bigger question though; should I draw my OC first or draw the other escorts first? If you want more information on those drawings or have any questions about the escorts before I unleash both of the drawings to the world, just tell me and I'll be willing to answer it! 2. Finish chapter 13 and 14 of Subzero Hero. Subzero Hero is an Ultimate Spider-Man/Rise of the Guardians crossover of mine; so basically, at some point, Spider-Man discovers and meets a superhero who can use, create, and manipulate snow, frost, and ice, which is Jack Frost. At the same time, Peter and his teammates discovers a new student who's attending Midtown High and Peter ends up befriending him. But little did Peter know that his involvement with the new kid, and the new hero in town, will end up triggering and unfolding Jack's motives in the superhero business, with Peter as a catalyst.... believe me, it's a long story, but I promise you it's gonna be epic. It will even be part of a Marvel/Rise of the Guardians/Guardians of Childhood series that I've been planning for about 3 years now, with Subzero Hero being the first book. Chapter 13's supposed to contain the 2nd half of the cockroach cockfight (trust me, it's better and worse than it sounds). Chapter 14 will feature bento, somewhere, and I'm plotting another chapter (either 15 or 16) that will feature @winter-is-ending and her 2 OCs, Tracey and Barry. Not gonna spoil everything, but I'll give out several hints: Mel's old YouTube account. Disney. Video games. Ovaries will explode. Then MORE ovaries will explode. Followed by a shower of nosebleeds and hard-ons. 3. Try to stop procrastinating so much and do AT LEAST 1 chapter of either Spying For My Love (a Hetalia spy AU story that involved Norway and Iceland, agents of a top-secret spy organization called WISH, trying to win Liechtenstein's affections while trying to deal with an over-protective former agent and the notorious crime lord (?) Arthur Kirkland/England), Glacial Blaze (Bakugan drabbles about Keith Clay/Keith Fermin/Spectra Phantom, and how he became Spectra), New Lenses, New Insight (originally supposed to be an Ultimate Spider-Man Christmas gift fic for a guy named FrivolousThoughts, but it looks like it will become a two-shot instead..), or Costume Personas (an Avengers Halloween reader-insert where everyone in the world, including the Avengers, got transformed into murderous versions of their Halloween costumes and reader-chan, who's the only one unaffected, has to find a cure before she, or everyone else, gets killed). 4. Finish chapter 28 of Heroes of the Star and the Maple Leaf (a second fanfic of a Bakugan/Hetalia crossover series; this one takes place in Bakugan: New Vestroia and follows a similar plot to the original, but America and Canada are on a mission to save Japan, who somehow got kidnapped and tortured by the Vexos). Honestly, I have NO idea how to work out the plot for the chapter, but it will involve Ace, Marucho, and Shun waking up from their coma-like state and finding themselves in Earth somewhere. I'm hoping to actually finish that one because Bakugan's been around for 10 years now, so I'm planning to celebrate by bringing that story back up somehow. 5. Finish constructing my tumblr blog here. Yeah, it still looks messy but at least I'm getting better at organizing my profile. Hopefully I will also post and reblog stuff for real this time, too. I'm not sure who to tag so... Yugioh S3 Ep 36-37: Local Mom-Friend’s Weird Trick, Doctors Hate Him

Hey y’all it’s a surprise midweek post because I’m in Canada this weekend woo. Surprised I even got this post done, TBH, I finally get some time where I’m not commuting around to and from San Francisco or corralling small children and I can just sit at my computer and focus and have some peace and quiet and I got--a mysterious sickness from all those kids! *yay* So, since I can’t really focus on anything, I’ll type in here and see if any of my words make any sense at all and hopefully I won’t go on some weird ass tangent like I tend to do like every other post.

So Yugi is still dueling Kaiba, much like he has for the past like...it feels like 4 years. I know I’ve only seen 3 seasons but this is...this is a really long duel. Maybe because there was a month-long break for me in the middle, (during which I watched the entirety of Evangelion, 2 Seasons of Gotham, Stranger Things S3, and the disappointing season of One Punch Man so like...I’ve had some time away from Yugioh) or maybe...maybe it’s because they’re actually playing card mechanics that go more in depth...

But yeah, despite everything, they’re still dueling.

And honestly, I’m looking at that episode number above me and it’s like...so there’s this Kaiba and Yugi Duel and then...only one more duel, right? Is it going to be a ten episode duel? Like unless Rebecca comes back for a weird cameo like...how...?

Whatever, we’ll get there when we get there.

Anyways, everyone who’s been avoiding this duel like the plague is down with the plague victims in the hospital. That’s where Tristan gets a bright idea and it’s one of his dumber ones, believe it or not.

Man, I forgot that comatose Joey Wheeler is still wearing that duel disk Pharaoh slapped on him during all this too, haha.

Also, why does he have to have all these pectoral suction cups while they just kinda...gave up on Mai? I mean I know they can’t show boobies on a Y7 show but like...it really feels like the doctor just kinda shrugged at Mai and was like “I only have one set of boob suction cups, I really didn’t think I’d need more than that, if at all.”

And so Tristan decides that if Joey is at the window which is like...600 ft below Yugi Muto’s duel, a duel you can’t...really see from the ground...then Joey Wheeler will arise.

I mean, it’s gonna work, it’s just also kind of laughable that Joey wasn’t able to hear any of this nonsense from the bed that is two feet away from the window.

But wtv, it’s very dramatic and Tristan gets to cry some more and feel useful I guess.

The haunted underwear mannequin plot-thread was dumped between that episode and this one, and I’m kinda bummed out that more things haven’t turned into haunted underwear mannequins.

Instead of horrific underwear mannequins, Joey’s dream has gone back to the standard fare of Joey picking on middle schoolers and wearing a much better outfit than he has for most of this show.

I will super miss Joey in a fitted suit. Like, soak it allll in horny preteens, because pretty soon, Joey Wheeler will be back in that scruffy oversized T-shirt just like...well, just like how a teenager would be. I mean there’s some REASONS Mai can’t date Joey, but the fact he has a fitted suit he refuses to ever wear is one of the top reasons right under, youknow, the fact he’d need a fake ID to ever go out with her.

It’s kind of amazing actually, how my whole life I kinda just figured this was a show of insane character designs, only to find out when I actually watch the show that there is like a ... REALLY horny line just going all the way through it.

Honestly, me trying to figure out how and when this kid’s show got so damn horny has been a very big mystery I’ve been trying to solve in the background this entire time. Like, I was told “yeah the Yugioh boys get very attractive.” and I was like “ehhhhhhhh I don’t even know what you’re talking about” but, little by little over the past 3 seasons, these animators are starting to draw these boys just waaaaaaay older than these kids actually are. I’m starting to see what people are saying. It’s still not my thing, personally, but uh yeah I can see how this spawned all that fanart now.

Anyways, speaking of, the other day a friend of mine’s sister was talking about how she, as a millennial, has been wired to love very tall skinny boys in skinny pants and very long coats with popped collars and I immediately was like “Lol are you admitting to Seto Kaiba?”

And she meant Cumberbatch Sherlock, LOLOLOLOL.

And so, back on the duel field we got Seto Kaiba, who’s a lot like Sherlock except a Sherlock who is suffering from both short term and long term memory loss. And, who does cards instead of heroin.

They probably both play violin.

Kaiba, despite having arc after arc where his little brother is his main motivation, has decided to just ditch Mokuba and it’s like...either he’s psyching Yugi out or Seto Kaiba forgot he had a brother for a little bit. He might...he might have forgotten. Mokuba is standing behind him, after all.

And so, because Joey is facing Yugi at just the right moment and at just the right time, somehow he can do his little force ability again and just do this:

And out he goes, drawn like a romance anime character lol.

Anyways, he’s back to being a slob so...welcome back, wrinkle shirt, it’s been a while.

And then Joey looks around and actually said this:

“Did someone get hurt?” He asks, after being burned, electrocuted AND drowned just yesterday.

I was kinda very much hoping Tristan would deck him out.

Glad that, as predicted, the moment Mai doesn’t need to be Joey’s main motivation anymore, the moment he puts the cards away, she may as well not even exist. This show and the way they write straight romances.

Please admire the matching lace up boots on the Kaiba Corp’s Emergency Squad. This would be the most obscure Cosplay on earth but maybe the most wearable Yugioh cosplay outside of Bandit Keith because you wouldn’t need a 400 dollar wig.

And then for some reason Tea just loses her mind and has a complete breakdown. She’s been kind of a mess since Yugi walked out like 2 episodes ago, which seems kind of...I dunno, both out of character but very much in character at the same time. I mean we’re assuming they “have” a relationship it’s just never actually say that they do, so her acting like her man is dead is kinda like...it still feels like it comes out of freakin nowhere.

Anyways, Tea who is strong enough to lift this entire plane and who is, in fact, possessed by at least 2 powerful ghosts (remember Shadi did spends some time there and he did NOT like it), is now a seeping crying mess that refuses to lose any more of her hospital-prone boys.

I mean they were going to go anyway, but they let Tea pretend she had any control over that and kind of glazed over this.

Back in this game that no one else is really watching anymore, Seto Kaiba is still monologuing about his entire life story that he’s never gotten any therapy for, except for that time his evil step brother accidentally gave him therapy.

Quite upset we never see the color of Mokuba’s little tuxedo.

Course...didn’t...Noah wear a little tuxedo in that same exact shape? I mean it’s a silly headcanon but youknow...it could be a yellow tuxedo they just happened to find in the back of the closet.

And it’s at this point that Mokuba just lost his lid. I’m so used to Mokuba unconditionally supporting his crazy brother that this would have been the biggest anime betrayal of the whole series, if Mokuba had said any of this outloud (which he wisely did not).

It was like...damn Mokuba. He actually said something along the lines of “I liked you better when you were poor” and it was like. Holy cow, Mokuba. Damn.

Anyway, a bunch of card stuff happens, and Pharaoh has decided that Seto has too much anger in his heart, and that’s why he will lose. Then, Pharaoh played the card proof for how angry Seto is, and if I actually payed any attention to cards, it would have been very meaningful.

But anyways, kudos to Pharaoh on not mind-wiping Seto Kaiba this time or launching him directly off this very tall tower like he attempted to do last time. They actually played a game start to finish with eachother and nothing exploded except for every television in Domino. Progress.

and then Mokuba started crying and initially I thought...wouldn’t he have WANTED his brother to lose but then I kind of remembered oh yeah now Mokuba has to deal with this oncoming aftermath.

RIP Mokuba, I guess.

Anyway, I’m out of town for the rest of the weekend, escaping to the far North to get away from the weather. I should be back next weekend, but if I’m not, I was probably eaten by a bear. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
