A little peak inside Weird Girl!Reader’s bedroom.

In my mind Weird Girl is obsessed with religious imagery but isn’t religious(that’s just my personal headcanon if you’re religious feel free to interpret her that way) so she has tons of crosses and angels on her walls. But most of the time they’re upside down and she’s painted blood coming down the angels eyes.

She has a princess bed for sure. Her rich grandma raised her so she has a really nice expensive bed and it’s really the nicest thing in her bed room.

She has a lot of random art she’s commissioned from different artists on Etsy and pop culture(mostly horror movie) posters on her walls.

Knick knacks. All kinds. Tiny little cat figures she’s had since she was a kid. Her doll collection. Taxidermy. She collects knives so she has tons of cool knives lying around.

Definitely has some kind of ornate extra ass bong that she keeps clean but her ashtray is always overflowing.

Pretty, billowy curtains, but blackout curtains she can pull down underneath if she’s feeling like the natural light is too much.

The first time Rafe goes into weird!girl’s room he’s like “what the fuck” but the more he gets to know her the more he understands each and every little detail. He loves your room. It’s like a reflection of yourself and a glimpse into your mind. He loves the permanent overflowing laundry pile on the little vintage chair in the corner of your room. He loves the way your bed feels like a warm hug. As hesitant as he is to admit it he loves your little bunny companion.

Rafe loves everything about you, everything he learns about you is just another reason to adore you. He loves all your quirks. Your weird little room. Your pretty little outfits that always have some kind of dark twist on them. He just loves you. His perfect little weird girl.

I've been a fan of the Vampire Chronicles for decades. I've started to hate the way 2020s fandom culture is interacting with this series(And most things,honestly). Having ship wars is crazy. Having rpf ship wars is heading towards parasocial.

Like...Im used to fandoms that really, truly, famously suck. Like my one true love is still Star Wars, in spite of the whole *vague handwaving*. So when I say this particular fanbase manages to hone in very specifically on my last nerve, it is with awe and pure disdain

all of @ep6bastogne's wips (yes i read all your tags about them in utter anticipation), @luckynumber4's burgie wip! anything @footprintsinthesxnd writes! same with @lewis-winters ALL of your wips sound so so sooooo up my street/my thing!! there are so many more but despite my plans to spend the day at home i actually have to leave the comfort of my bed and brave the cold outside, and i'm late already so i'm gonna have to stop listing, but it's very likely that i'm excited for almost every single wip any of you guys have!

28 - what's something that lives in your brain rent free and you want everyone to know about the show/the fandom/your works?

outside of hbowar??? oooh i have LOADS of things!! the thick of it!! it has such clever funny writing, the best dialogue and political satire ever, because it's just so true to life and accurate for uk politics. peter capaldi is fucking amazing in it! and you'll see a lot of uk actors that are famous for other things here. but yeah, it's just hilarious and witty and clever. love it. go watch it. ummm other than that, the korean band onewe!! please go listen to them, they are ridiculously talented and have the kindest most lovely and accepting fandom in the world. in fact, the hbo war fandom and onewe fandom are the only two fandoms i've ever felt happy and comfortable in. onewe write beautiful songs with the most gorgeous lyrics (they have a space series which is one of my all-time favourites). ALSO pride (2014) as a movie recommendation! this film is my comfort film but it tears me apart as well. some people watch it for the queerness and come away learning about welsh history too.. for others, it's the opposite. but as a welsh gay man for me both those elements are so important to who i am and my own identity, that this film is just feels so incredibly special to me. especially the character gethin who i really feel i can relate to a lot due to our circumstances. tim roth is someone who i always wanna shout about and who lives rent free in my head too. love that man so much. also the band the libertines!! because them and the strokes were my entire teenage years and i pretty much grew up with their music as my 'soundtrack'. ok i think that's enough, even though i definitely have way more to shout about. sorry i rambled!

has any of your headcanons about helia changed? aaaand how has your perception of helia changed? also as someone who hasn’t read the comics (yet) how is his personality different in the comics than in the show?

changed headcanons,,, my backstory for him changes every five minutes so there's that ajdhg but i've also started to think of his potential off-screen family in a different way too! i used to headcanon that his parents were really sweet and caring, but now i'm just like. that boy had tiger parents and it Shows

perception... when i was like 10 i definitely thought of him in that more fanony way where he's just Super Sweet and pacifistic! mostly cause i only liked him because i liked flora, so i didn't really pay attention to his personality. plus i was 10 aljhdg so my perception of him has definitely changed! i pay more attention to what he actually says and does compared to what other characters just think of him yknow?

honestly, i don't think his personality in the comics is that different from the show, we just get a lot more helia-centric moments in the comics than in the show. i think that was always his intended personality, they just didn't show it well :( but anyway! in the comics, he's a little sassier, a lot more anxious and depressed, a little more standoffish with the specialists and strangers, and a lot more ,,, well just more! he has More of a personality. it's weird but the cartoon version of him (at least in the first three seasons) feels more like a footnote of what they wanted him to be, while the comics just had More.

that's how i think of him at least. some fans have said that helia is Really different in the comics but honestly, i think he just has more personality. it's like that with all of the specialists tbh! it's just more apparent with helia since he was barely in the first three seasons
