Eddie was laying propped up in bed, with Eomer sleeping peacefully on his tattoed chest. He was still in disbelief that he had grown a complete human inside of him for nearly nine months. He was just shy of a month postpartum and the first few days after the birth were really rough for his mental health, but Steve had gently asked if he should call his therapist for him. After talking to his therapist and getting started on antidepressants again and some helpful mental exercises, he had slowly felt himself returning to his normal self. He still had some dark moments but, looking down at his son, drooling all over his chest piece, it was all worth it. He notices Steve leaning against their bathroom door, his phone out. “I think I'm ready to tell people about Eomer. The rest of the day he spends with his husband and son, completely ignoring his phone until both Chrissy and Robin call them that eveningto tell them about how most of the replies to the post are positive and congratulating the pair Later that night while he's still awake, sitting in bed with Steve fast asleep next to him he finds a post from Nancy. His morbid curiosity gets the better of him and watchs it with captions on and the sound off. It's a hate filled tangent, calling him a ‘Girl’ with mental disorder, saying how CPS needs to get involved because she fears how the child will get abused by Steve. She goes on that he has a violent temper on a hair pin trigger. That bit about his husband makes his blood boil and it takes every ounce of self discipline not to react to it. Most of the comments under it are agreeing with her, but a few are asking if Steve was so horrible why she didn't file a police report or show proof of his alleged affairs, and some are saying it's disgusting to call him a she. He puts his phone away angrily and turns to look at Eomer sleeping in his co-sleeper bassinet attached to his side of the bed.

The next afternoon Eddie finds himself sitting anxiously on the couch in their media room with Chrissy next to him, while his Uncle Wayne is sitting in a recliner with Eomer. I walked out of the shower and they were just lounging in bed, and I wanted to preserve that moment” The camera zoomed in on his face, capturing his raw emotion. “This is going to sound so corny, but you started glowing when you're talking about them” Steve smiled bashfully “I'm not going to lie about loving my family” “It really shows, okay last question about Bat. Your ex Nancy Wheeler has posted a statement about your announcement, did you read it and what are your thoughts” “ Well first of, I don't have any form of Social Media, but Robin, Chrissy, Eddie and my little brother have all mentioned it to me” Steve takes a minute to gather his thoughts and looks of to the side for a long moment.
